3rd POV:

Danielle was on her way to her and her sister's store where she was under a lot of stress: There was a HUGE shoe sale of the year and none of the shoes had arrived to sort out.

It took her 15 minutes before she arrived at the store at the back door.

Danielle's POV:

Ash opened the door after I knocked before she gave me a hug letting me in afterward.

"Sis, I arrived, please tell me the shoes arrived?" I asked her nervously.

"No, and it's almost close to opening time." She answered with a worried face.

We walked towards the white ottomans-like seats looking at the empty shelves.

"Sis, do you know when Hunter and Thoren are going to arrive with the shoes?..." I asked nervously and anxiously. She shook her head.

We were waiting anxiously and nervously until we heard the bell 🔔 ringing meaning the shoes had arrived.

We look at the two guys who we recognized had opened the doors and went inside;

"We got the shoes, girls." Thoren held boxes of shoes.

"Now how about 2 hugs for your heroes?" Hunter finished.

We smiled in relief as Ash swooned at Hunter's gesture.

"Why we hope that's you, Hunter as well as you, Thoren." Ashlynn swooned.

"Or should we say, our knights in shoe armor?" I added as I swooned.

The two dropped the boxes revealing their faces.

"You know it, pumpkin, and Dani." Hunter smiled.

"I'm good with whatever." He smirked, throwing a wink her way.

Inside of me, I felt a glass slipper sparking inside of me... Oh my fairy godmother what if this feeling

We walked to the guys giving them a pair of hugs in gratitude: Hunter and my sis and me and Thoren.

"Thanks, soo much for getting these, guys. We really appreciate it." I smiled at the guys mostly with Thoren and started.

"And now you two have to leave." Ashlynn finished the thought and smiled.

*record screech*

The guys were shocked 😳 😳 that they just got here only for them to leave afterwards.

"Huh? What?" Both guys asked in confusion.

"Sorry sweetie, Thor. But we have less than an hour to set up the display for these new shoes." Ash started explaining.

"And your sister and Blondie are going to be here any minute helping us and we can't have them finding out about their love Thoren. I-we hope that you understand." I continued explaining.

"Exactly." My sister agrees with me.

He nodded.

"Okay." He nodded.

"Is it cool if I could help you two out?" Thoren asked us

We looked at each other before we nodded and sighed.

"I guess you can stay, we need more help than ever after, Thor." I frowned nervously.

"Well, maybe—" Hunter started asking.

When Ashlynn started pushing him out the door. "Uh-huh, sounds great." Ashlynn nodded

"You're the best!" She slammed the doors behind them

"—get some coffee ☕️?" Hunter asked looking at his surroundings making him slump out

We saw our friends arrive at the store, we had let them inside.

"Thanks for helping you guys." Ashlynn smiled in relief

"Especially you Thoren, but if we work toget-" I continued when Blondie put her hand ✋ cutting me off

"No problem Ashlynn, Danielle," Blondie said, causing us to look at her confused.

Before she started speaking as she walked away. "I see where you two have the platform set up, and I would move it 20 inches to the left so the natural light hits the shoes, giving them that halo effect— just right, right?" Blondie finished her thought looking at us with a smile

We walked towards her.

"Um, I guess." Ashlynn laughed nervously

I look at the twins.

"Um, Briar, Thoren, do you have any thoughts or suggestions?" I asked them only to see both of them had collapsed on the white ottoman seat near the shoes where a shoe box was used as substitute pillows.

They had snored

We then look at the clock as we gasped quietly, meaning that we don't have any more time left.

The next thing was we heard Blondie talk and talk about how our family's shoes are overrated.

We were annoyed with her venting about our family's glass slippers being overrated.

"Sis, can we look at the window?" I asked her

"Sure come." Ashlynn motioned me which I did and we moved the curtain to the side.

"And that's why glass slippers are totally overrated." Blondie finished when we were SHOCKED 😳😳 how outside was CROWDED and was impatient.

"I need some new shoes. When are they going to open? Shoes! Open!" We heard a couple of girls say it

"Uhh...." I nervously said as we looked at each other nervously

We looked at Blondie and pleaded

"Blondie can't we please get started." I pleaded

"Okay Dani, we'll have the shoes on the shelves just right." Blondie smiled

We got started as fast as we got before it strike 12 noon.

Unfortunately for us, it was 11:59 am and it was about to ding and we only unboxed 1 shoe box

And we had put 2 different colored heels on the shelf.

"We've only unpacked one box so far." Ash frowned.

We look at her worried and curious

"And the store opened in less than a minute! We're never going to make it!" Ashlynn yelled in distress

Ashlynn grabbed her head with her hands in distress and freaked out.

I also grabbed my head with my hands in distress "What ever after are we going to do?!!" I yelled anxiously and distressed

Then to our unexpected shock, we heard a guy's voice we recognized

"You can run Pesky, but you can't hide!" Hunter yelled as he busted the door trying to get a squirrel that he got in the boxes

We looked at him worried "HUNTER NO!" We yelled

Me and my sister hugged each other protecting ourselves and Blondie covered her face protecting herself as the shoes and the boxes flew everywhere.

Where all the shoes miraculously landed on all the shelves perfectly

Just in time for the clock turns to noon 🕛 dinged where ALL the girls went inside, screaming

We were all smiling with open mouths shocked at how we successfully unpacked ALL the shoe boxes in under a minute thanks to Hunter.

The sound of the screaming woke the Beauty twins.

"Wow!" Briar lifted her sunglasses

"Yeah, the place looks good, guys. Nice job." Yawned Thoren as he stretched his arms out.

"So do we get free shoes for helping or what?" Briar asked, smiling.

"Uhhh...how about..no." Ashlynn smiled.

"But maybe... next time... Briar." I laughed nervously.

My sister walked to the back where Hunter was behind the curtain.

I walked to my sister who smiled knowingly who was watching her boyfriend runoff and chase the squirrel

"He really is something, isn't he sis?" I asked, smiling knowingly.

"He sure is." She sighed a lovesick daze on her face. I smiled.

"I'm glad that you found your prince, sis. And Hunter's a great guy for you sis." I smiled happy for my sister

"Thanks, Dani." She smiled.

I hugged my sis. "You're welcome sis now let's get back out there, it's going to be the longest sale ever after..... again" I reminded her sighing tiredly of the thought

We walked back out there where I had walked over to the twins.

"Thanks Thor, for bringing the shoes boxes once again. We can handle everything else now. You.... you can leave if you like." I gave him a thankful smile

"Ok. Bye Dani." He waved bye before leaving.
