Andrea hid them from Vecna's sight which caused him to look around before Andrea let go. Letting him see them after her head began to kill her. Max managed to slide over to Andrea as she held the other woman off the floor.
Andrea stood upright with a slight slouch. Refusing any help from Max as blood poured down both of her nostrils and even some from her ears. Signifying that Andrea was definitely running a low battery but she wouldn't stop.
Not yet.
Everything was only just beginning. There still was a lot more fight left to fight. A lot more things they had to do to win. This wasn't over just because Eleven showed up. The only actual indication of the fact it was actually Eleven was that Vecna would not have created her just to make it seem like someone was helping.
"You," Vecna sneered as he finally got a look at the person who held him firm in the air, Eleven.
Eleven stared at him for a moment, the world around them flashing red before she lifted her head up, "Hi," And then Vecna was launched across the room through the bleachers.
Eleven ran over to Max and pulled the woman into her arms as Andrea stumbled out into the gym.
"May, are you okay?" Eleven placed her hands on Max's arms as she helped keep the girl upright.
"Huh?" Max questioned, confused as to how she was there or if she was even real.
"Are you okay?" Eleven asked almost immediately after those words left Max's lips as she repeated the question.
"Yeah," Max's look of confusion was like no other as she stared straight at Eleven, Max's hands ran over Eleven's head as she spoke, "Are you... are you real? Did I... Did I make you?"
"I'm real," Eleven spoke as she grabbed Max's arms once again, trying to show her that she was infact who she appeared to be.
"How?" Max questioned, clearly not grasping this, it was clear she had yet to determine if this was actually Eleven or just some allusion.
"I piggybacked from a pizza dough freezer," Eleven explained which only raised about a hundred more questions.
Max made a face as she shook her head, "What?" What the actual fuck? Max was not the only person confused by this explanation. Andrea was seriously debating on if Eleven had gotten into any of Jonathan's weed.
Shit, I haven't talked to Will recently, Andrea realized before deciding now was not the time to be worried about who she had and had yet to talk to.
"Uh..." Eleven went to keep explaining but the two stopped.
Andrea stood over the hole in the bleachers where her father had been thrown into. The lighting of the Upside Down striking through causing a slight red glow every now and then. Andrea held her ribs as she breathed heavily while shaking her head.
The bleachers creaked as boards began to snap. Vecna rising out, taking step by step as the world around them continued to grow and light up. His head turned over to Andrea ever so slightly before he shook his head.
"Remember, no matter what happens to me. You do nothing. You have to wait for your time," Andrea could almost hear those exact words meeting her ears at the age of twelve years old.
Andrea shook her head as she gave him a look, "Please don't do this. Dad, please."
But he wouldn't listen to her and Andrea knew that. He was going to finish things off with Eleven then he was going to finish the rest of the world off. That had been his plan since he had been booted to this... this hell. Andrea wanted to believe that he felt it was his only option now with what he became.
"Stay back," Eleven spoke with a firm expression as she departed from Max, stalking over to Vecna who continued to walk straight head while looking over at Eleven.
He snarled and breathed heavily as he made it to the middle of the gym floor. Thunder clapped while Max and Andrea both found themselves being onlookers.
"If you touch her again," Eleven's anger was evident as a small line of blood trickled down her nose, "I will kill you again."
Vecna found himself getting a little more hostile, "Is that what you did?" He questioned as his head tilted ever so slightly, "Hmm?"
The sounds of squelching and whatever his body made as he moved made Andrea cringe. It was absolutely disgusting, a lot like the monster they fought during the summer.
"Did you kill me?" Vecna snarled as he looked at the younger girl, "I am so glad you are here, Eleven. This... is going to be beautiful," He took his time with his words before he flicked his wrist causing Andrea to tumble back down on the bleachers, as wood around him began to float as they splintered.
"Max! Move!" Andrea yelled as she found herself stuck in place.
Max listened to her words and was quick to get out of the way. Hiding behind anything that would protect her from whatever objects were about to be thrown by Vecna.
"And it's all thanks to you," Vecna snarled before he threw the boards at Eleven which caused her to throw them over.
Andrea managed to block them before they hit her causing them to hit the ground with a thud. Andrea panted as she tried to keep a grip on herself. Though, Vecna only found himself getting angrier with every moment that passed.
As soon as Eleven had thrown the boards she was thrown back by Vecna. The creature/man thing's hand in the air as the girl flew back into the table as she panted in screamed before she was thrown yet again into a different table.
She was almost like a ragdoll in the air. Forever moving and going back and forth as she hit different objects before her body stopped moving. Laying on top of a table, pain was evident in her features. So, Andrea took over but not before Max did.
Max went to run over to him with a yell as she held up some sort of object, "Gah!" She yelled before she was thrown back against the floor as well. Hitting the wall causing her to go unconscious.
"Dad!" Andrea yelled causing a small snarl as she watched Eleven get thrown into a display as he stalked over to her.
Eleven moved to try and make her move. Trying to hold Vecna in place but he quickly gathered the upper hand. Holding her tighter causing her to strain and find herself in an immense amount of pain as the sound of cracking filled the air.
Andrea found herself growing angry as he brought her closer to him with a snarl. Eleven was breathing heavily as she grunted while floating in the air. The younger girl choking as she seethed.
"Before... I kill you," Vecna went to speak before he began to strain and Eleven dropped to the ground.
Andrea held her hand out as Vecna slowly lifted off the ground, "You aren't killing anyone," Andrea growled as she fell back on her memories to help her, "You aren't going to hurt them."
Andrea could feel everything in her body screaming but she wasn't going to stop. She couldn't.
"I understand you," Andrea admitted as she shook her head, "We're both different. We both had everyone mistreat them. Pain followed wherever we went. I helped you..." Andrea's voice began to break as she shook her head, "I listened to you. I trusted you."
Vecna tried to enter her mind as a sort of distraction but Andrea held him out, even in her weak state she figured out the right memory to land back on.
"I didn't know what I know now. I didn't know what you would become," Andrea could feel herself losing her grip which only motivated her further to keep holding on, "And I hate myself because I didn't realize it sooner. What if I could've changed it? I felt nothing when we did that... when we did what we did back in 1979. I was only a kid."
She was full of emotions in the moment.
Andrea had truly only been a kid. She had no experience with the outside world. Just the cruelness that lived within the walls of Hawkins lab. Everyone wanted to kill her. They tried but Andrea and Peter managed to get the upper hand.
"But everyone wanted me dead. Papa didn't trust me, he hated me," Andrea seethed as she shook her head, "I'm just as bad as you are. I tried to be good. I really did but I never really will be. So if I have to fight dirty to save my friends... so be it."
Andrea focused harder and listened as Vecna growled out while his arm snapped. Memories flashing through his mind as they vaguely passed over Andrea's eyes. At least until Andrea was yanked back by Eleven which freed him.
Eleven shook her head as she looked at Andrea, "Don't."
Andrea then let out a loud groan as her feet lifted off the floor. Feeling as Eleven went up beside her. Both strained and cried out in pain as Vecna had a hold on the two.
"You have your mother's heart," Vecna spoke as he looked over at Andrea before he pushed her through a red portal, "... I want you to watch," Vecna snarled at Eleven as he held her in the air as well before he threw her through the portal that Andrea had just went through.
Andrea felt pain run through her body as she laid on the ground before she tried to get up but the vines got a grip on her first. It seemed that they had a grip on Eleven as well. She was dragged and hung on the front door of the Creel house as if she were on display.
The tentacles constricted on her before she came to reality with what was happening. Her eyes cascaded around as the sound of the disembodied screaming and the clock chimes rang.
Andrea was dragged over before being placed upright. Sitting on her knees with her arms held tightly at her sides. She watched as Vecna walked with Max over his shoulder before he dropped her body to the ground, letting the vines get ahold of her and hoist her body up.
Andrea couldn't do anything.
She just had to watch and she felt absolutely useless as she tried to fight against the vines as well as fight against the urge to just pass out on spot. Her body was just so tired, in need of rest that she could not get.
"Papa is dead!" Eleven yelled the shocking news causing Andrea's eyes to dart over to her.
It seemed that his piqued the interest of Vecna as well. He turned to look in Eleven's direction. A low grunt leaving his lips as he looked over at the girl who was held tightly against the door. She seemed upset.
"I know what he did to you," Eleven spoke up as she tried to catch his attention for as long as possible as he walked over, she panted, "You were different. Like me. Like her," Eleven began to cry as her eyes barely caught sight of Andrea, "And he hurt you."
He had hurt them all. Used them as nothing but experiments for his own scientific gain because of who Henry Creel had been. For what he could do by just falling back into his own thoughts. That's why the other numbers were created.
When Andrea became the accident.
She caused so many people to die. Even before she was born she stirred up trouble that she only now realized. How could she have known, though? Previously, Andrea did not even know who she truly was. She had no clue of her heritage nor of who she wanted to be. All she knew was that she was wanted by the government and she could put a lot of people in a lot of danger.
Eleven was crying as she tried to keep herself grounded, "He made you... into this."
Henry continued to walk over to Eleven. His head turning ever so slightly as he continued to make his way to her while listening to whatever she had to say to try and get him off track.
"He is the monster, Henry," Eleven shook her head as she continued to try and reach the good in him, "Not you," She let out a shuddering breath, "Not you. Think of your daughter."
Andrea took a deep breath in as she tried to adjust herself within the grip of the vines. Her knees were absolutely killing her.
"You're right," Peter spoke as he stepped up, now standing right in front of Eleven, "You, Andrea, and I, we are different and Papa did hurt me. But he was no monster. He was just a man. An ordinary, mediocre man," Vecna sneered as the lightning began to strike more often, "That is why he sought greatness in others. In you. And me."
"But things changed," Andrea called out, causing both to turn and look at her, "I wasn't supposed to happen. He killed... he killed because of my creation and resented me. I could never actually use my full potential. Neither could you... he hurt everyone," Andrea felt as tears began to slide down her cheeks.
Peter turned to look at her momentarily, Andrea swore she could see his blue eyes, "You really embraced both sides without even realizing it..."
Andrea let her head hang low as she tried to get his voice out of her head. She wished he would've just spoken to her. But no, he went into her head so that she could hear his voice again.
Eleven began to breathe shakily, "Hmm. But in the end," He placed a finger to Eleven's chin as he turned back to her, "He could not control us. He could not shape us. He could not change us! Do you not see, Eleven?" The girl looked back at him upon hearing her name, "He did not make me into this. You did."
The look on Eleven's face broke Andrea's heart before she found herself being forced back into her memories.
"Are gods of our world, the most important of all predators. They immobilize and feed on the weak bringing balance and order to an unstable ecosystem," Peter slowly lowered down next to his daughter as he wiped her nose and gave a soft nod as he rose back to his feet.
No, not this again... Andrea didn't want to go through this yet again.
"But the human world was disrupting this harmony," Peter spoke as he looked firmly at Eleven, "You see, humans are a unique type of pest. Multiplying and poisoning our world all while enforcing a structure of their own. A deeply unnatural structure."
Little Seven wandered behind Eleven, the twelve-year-old girl looking scared while her green eyes held the exact same look that her fathers held. Absolutely nothing.
"Where others saw order, I saw a straightjacket. A cruel, oppressive world, dictated by made-up rules. Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, decades! Each life a faded, lesser copy of the one before," He got aggressive.
"Wake up, eat, work, sleep, reproduce, and die!" Peter yelled at little Eleven as he looked in fear.
And Seven did nothing. What would she do? She had just killed everyone who wanted to kill her.
"Everyone is just waiting. Waiting for it all to be over. All while performing in a silly, terrible play, day after day. I could not do that. I could not close off my mind and join in the madness. I could not pretend. And I realized, I didn't have to. I could make my own rules," He began to explain.
Let me out. Let me out.
"I could restore balance to a broken world. A predator... but for good," He smiled while looking back at his daughter, "As I practiced, I realized I could do more than I possibly imagined. I could each into others, into their minds, their memories. I became an explorer."
Andrea tried to close her eyes but the memory followed her.
"I saw my parents as they truly were," Peter began to wander, "To the world, they presented themselves as good, normal people. But like everything else in this world it was all a lie. A terrible lie. They had done things, Eleven. Such awful things."
Andrea let her head fall as she had before.
"I showed them who they really were. I held up a mirror. My naive father believed it was a demon cursing them for their sins, but my mother somehow knew it was I who was holding up that mirror and she despised me for it. She called a doctor, an expert. She wanted him to lock me away... fix me."
She wanted out and she wanted out right now.
"Even though it wasn't I who was broken. It was them," Andrea remembered this all too well, the one memory she tried to lie to herself about, "And she left me with no choice but to act. To break free."
Little Andrea's eyes fell to the floor.
"With each life I took, I grew stronger. But I was still a child, I did not know my limits and it nearly killed me," He continued, "He was arrested and blamed for the death of my sister and mother just as I had planned. But I was far from free. I woke up in a coma only to find myself placed in the care of a doctor, the very doctor I had hoped to escape..."
"You tricked me..." Little Eleven was back at it.
"Tricked you? No, I saved you."
Little Seven looked at Eleven with fear and anger but did nothing, just as he had instructed her. Andrea refused to not to anything anymore.
He got up and walked forward, the show-off beginning. The lights began to flicker as they thought, the young girl struggling. Eleven then was thrown against the wall and thrown around.
The last moments of her father being with her played through her mind. Watching as his back hit the wall, he struggled as the young Andrea screamed and fell down the wall crying. She made herself believe it was the grief of the others, but it was for her father. And she couldn't hide that anymore.
Blood covered them all, she cried as he struggled but didn't help as told. And then Eleven screamed as he did, something beginning to disintegrate as he cried out causing Andrea to look away. The screams and wails continued until they didn't...
The scene changed and they watched the fall of Henry Creel, Peter Ballard, and 001 and the rise of Vecna.
And it was horrific.
