After coming home one night from sneaking out to a party, seventeen year old Sabrina finds her mother, father, and sister dead. While FBI agent David Rossi investigates this case, he cracks it as he did many others, finding the serial killer responsible for the death of Sabrina's family and put the man behind bars.

Sixteen years later, while she is running her busy life with her daughter and best friend, Sabrina continues to receive mysterious letters ━━ leading her to believe the real killer who murdered her family is still out there, watching her. As she tries to involve the police, she finds the only person she has left to turn to is her old investigator, David Rossi, and his BAU team.

As the team struggles to figure out the motives behind the letters, Sabrina's world unfolds as she is thrown back into her past life with secrets surfacing and staining her once happy family's memory ━━ but a special doctor and FBI agent is determined to help her through it.
