as some of you may know, Liam Payne passed away. it hit me harder than expected. as time goes on, it'll all be a memory on how and when i found out.

over the past few months there were several stories floating around about him. not knowing what to believe seeing as media outlets are not always a saint, i would like to put it to the side, and mourn Liam.

i will be honest when i say, i never really followed him, his music or his life. but i will also be honest when i say that he was part of childhood, for which most you may know as one direction.

the band were not a huge part of my childhood, maybe every now and then, i would say i was more of a casual listener. so i can only imagine the pain others may feel during this time, including big fans of theirs.

earlier this year,  i started taking a liking to one direction, then remembering how it feels to be a kid all over again. well, first i started listening to Harry's music, then gave one direction a try and the rest was history... you get the point, hopefully.

with the tragic passing of Liam, i now feel fortunate enough to be able to listen to the music that was put out. that he had taken part in.

and lastly.

dear Liam,

i'm not even sure what to say.

at a loss for words, the world still resumes, and yet you're not here anymore. it feels weird. strange. and all the other synonyms you could think of.

i would also want to clarify that the fandom isn't mad, we're just trying to process. but we got each other, i've learned that it's what it's all about, this fandom, sticking together like one big family.

your legacy leaves a mark everywhere. in our memories. in your music. in our lives.

my heart is with your family and friends.

the boys, your brothers.

please, don't be afraid to look after yourself as well.
