you had already been introduced to the titular aerith and already knew that this girl was as sweet as pie.

the two of you had bonded over gardening, as she asked if you had a garden when you mentioned being from the countryside.

everyone had eaten lunch by now but you decided to take some alone time in the flower garden outisde of her house.

you caressed ones petals, thinking about the current situation with vincent and sephiroth.

as much as you tried to ignore it, you had seen vincent staring at you, and it made you more nervous.

the whole situation made you feel queasy, missing sephiroth and the certain type of comfort he brought to you.

you sighed as you released the flower back to its bunch.

aerith was smiling at you, her arms behind her back.

on the other hand, since she doesn't go to school with you guys, maybe it would be good to have an outisde opinion, or at least someone not as close to the current situation.

aerith's mouth was agape for a moment but then she gave you a smirk, "i don't suppose you two are already dating, unless..?"

you sighed again, "he is my boyfriend..the only one who figured it out so far is vincent."

"and you're wondering how you're gonna tell everyone else?"

"exactly, what do you think i should do?" you asked the pretty girl.

her green eyes seemed to glisten as she smiled, "don't you worry. if he is as good as you say he is, even if the group doesn't approve at first, i'm sure they'll warm up to the idea, it'll just take a lot of time, and if they give you a hard time, just come to me and i'll help ya out."

you felt your throat choke up, and your eyes water.

overwhelmed by her kindness, you hugged her, and she froze for a second, but then reciprocated the action.
