Jeongin aimed the folded paper at Seungmin, who was sitting half way across the classroom. His eyes continuously darted towards the teacher who was making some announcements at the front of the class. She was looking down at the papers in front of her, reciting everything that was written down. He grinned and glanced towards his friend to make sure the boy was ready. He tapped the desk slightly to catch the boy's attention so he didn't hit the boy in the forehead.

Seungmin looked towards him before excitedly grinning at him. He positioned his fingers in a way to make them look like a football goal, a challenging look in his eyes as he stared him down. Jeongin squinted to try and make sure his aim was accurate, wanting to get the folded piece of paper through the goal. After a few moments of readjustment, he flicked the paper as hard as he could towards Seungmin.

It went flying across the classroom, the few students who had noticed the boy's shenanigans watching it fly like a tennis ball. The paper hit Seungmin dead in the face, though ending up in his goal either way. Jeongin couldn't help but celebrate his victory, pumping his fist in the air and pushing his chair away from his seat. The squeaking of the chair legs had notified the teacher something was wrong, and she looked up from her papers.

"Again? Yang? How many times are you going to interrupt my class?" She asked him, crossing her arms with a huff. Jeongin put his hands down, muffling an apology to her. He had gotten in trouble multiple times before because of him playing around with Seungmin. That's why his friend was sitting so far away instead of right next time. "Since you have so much energy Yang, pass these out for me."

She placed a stack of flyers on his desk, just enough for the entire class. He sighed, grabbing the papers and getting out of his seat. Out of the corner of his eye he heard Seungmin snickering at him and he threw a playful glare his way. Jeongin took half the papers in one hand and motioned the other half towards his friend, as if asking him for help. Though the boy only whistled and faced towards the whiteboard to avoided passing out flyers.

Jeongin glances down towards the papers as he passed them out one by one to each student in his class. On the paper was the words TALENT SHOW written in big white letters. There was lots of information on the paper, but he'd have to take a paper for himself to see what it all said. With each flyer he gave to other students, the louder the class got. They seemed excited as they quickly scanned over everything printed out.

Finally, he got to Seungmin and placed a paper on his desk. "Talent show?" He asked, thankful that the teacher was no longer paying attention to what her class was doing. The boy gave him a confused look as he quickly skimmed through the flyer he had handed to him. His eyes went from a confused daze to a sparkle of interest, lowering the paper to where you could only see his eyes.

"Oh? Have you never been to this school's talent show before?" He questioned, the eagerness evident in his voice. Jeongin shook his head in response, taking the empty chair beside him to listen to what Seungmin had to say. "Every two years, this school holds a talent show. You got lucky with enrolling when you did, you get to experience it first hand! Our school has a lot of hidden gems you never usually see."

Without hesitation, Seungmin pulled out his phone. He furiously began typing on its keyboard, looking up something with as much urgency as possible. "When I say we have hidden gems, we have hidden gems. Everyone who gets third place or higher usually gets scouted by an idol entertainment! Doesn't that sound cool?!" He slid the phone towards Jeongin so he could look at some article he had pulled up.

Skeptical, he took the phone and began scrolling down on the article he had up. It was on Soompi with the title along the lines of "K-Pop Idols Who Were Scouted From Talent Shows", something Jeongin didn't know if he could trust. He looked up from the phone and frowned, crossing his arms. "Are you trying to prank me? How am I supposed to trust that this article is even telling the truth?"

Seungmin laughed, taking his phone back. "I'm serious though! When does Soompi ever lie?" He asked. Jeongin didn't think his frown could get any lower, but it definitely did. The boy scrolled through the article, his eyes sparkling with glee. "Either way, I'm serious. Doing the talent show could result in  really good future if you get scouted by company! I'd kill just to stand in the same room as Day6.... imagine going to the same company as them."

Jeongin glanced down at the flyer, reading the words talent show over and over again. He didn't really listen to any music besides trot, but he guessed it would be cool to be in the same room as Got7 now that he was learning about them. Hyunjin would probably faint at the mere sight of their legs knowing him. It was pretty funny to imagine, actually. He would be fine to see that happen in reality.

"If you want to participate," Seungmin began before pointing out a date on the flyer. "The auditions for the talent show are coming up in about two weeks. That gives you enough time to get a performance and practice it. I think you'd do great!" Jeongin glanced up at his friend to see the boy grinning ear to ear at him. He could practically feel the confidence he had in him radiating off of him. "So? What are you gonna do?"

Jeongin bit his lip, unsure of what to respond with. "I'll... ask Hyunjin. I feel like this is something he'd want to do." He explained, glancing up at his friend. The boy gave him a thumbs up, meaning he was all for asking Hyunjin what he wanted to do. The younger brother glanced towards his teacher to make sure she wasn't watching them before quickly slipping out the classroom. They weren't learning anything right now so what harm could skipping class bring him right?

He made sure he brought the flyer with him as he slipped out of the classroom, thankful that no one in his class were dumb enough to snitch on him. Once you snitch on someone in that class it's over for you. No ever trusts you with secrets and don't bring you on any fun out of class adventures. Jeongin used to think it was pretty dumb unspoken rule, but now it was working to his advantage. The boy glanced around the hallway for any teachers walking around before making a mad dash towards Hyunjin's last class.

He should know where it was, he's been to that boy's classroom plenty of times now. It became sort of a thing they all did in the morning. Everyone would meet up at Hyunjin and Felix's classroom before school started and they'd goof around as long as they could before the class president or teacher kicked them out. If they were lucky, sometimes Changbin would bring snacks he got from the senior teachers and they'd go crazy like rabid dogs just for the food.

Yet he never went to Hyunjin's classroom alone. He usually had Seungmin by his side since the boy was friends with his step brother now too. He guessed that he just let him take the reins of leading Jeongin everywhere he needed to be. It wasn't the greatest idea in the world, it sure wasn't helping right now either. Maybe Jeongin should start walking the older brother's class alone now so he knew exactly where to go.

But today he got lucky, he got sight of someone not too far down the hallway he kept walking down. He quickly identified the back of the person's head of Hyunjin. If it wasn't actually him then Jeongin would just turn around and start sprinting away as fast as he possibly could. Calling out to someone who wasn't actually who you were looking for is pretty embarrassing. He didn't want to experience that feeling at the moment.

"Hyunjin? Hyunjin!" Jeongin called, making the person turn around. Thankfully it was him walking down the hall with Felix, zoning out of the conversation to see who was talking him. He waved his hand towards him to get him to come over while the Australian was acting a total fool. Hyunjin's friend was waving his arms around like a maniac, desperate for the younger brother's attention. He laughed at the friend's antics as he quickly made his way to them. "Felix you saw me this morning, not ten years ago."

"I know." He responded, practically throwing himself on Jeongin. "But you're such a cute younger brother and I'm still mad at Hyunjin for calling you a devil that one day. If anything ever happens between you two just remember I'm always on your side and not Hyunjin's." Felix explained, patting the boy on the head and ruffling up his hair. Jeongin glanced up the step brother to see a annoyed face, internally questioning his friendship with the Aussie.

"Aren't you supposed to be in class?" Hyunjin asked, giving the boy a skeptical look. Jeongin returning the same look and the older brother snorted. "Unlike you I have study hall right now, I have an excuse to be out of class. You don't." The younger brother rolled his eyes, ignoring the sassy and mocking tone Hyunjin decided to speak in. He slipped out of the Aussie grasp as he handed him the piece of paper.

"Here." He told him, waving the flyer around in his hand. "I got this in my class and I thought you'd be interested in it. You know, I'm trying to a nice younger brother right?" Hyunjin took the paper from his hands carefully, as if what he was giving to him was dangerous. Felix looked at the flyer as well, pushing the taller boy to the side so that he could see what was written down. Both seemed pleasantly surprised by what they had read.

"Talent show? I didn't think they'd bring this back." Hyunjin spoke, glancing towards his brother. "They had it for my freshman year here but I didn't participate. I was there to watch Felix try out. I was going to do it again, but I didn't hold one for sophomore year. I assumed they didn't have any funding." He handed the paper back to him, but Felix snatched it up for himself. Jeongin snapped his fingers, pointing towards Hyunjin with a gleam in his eyes

"Seungmin told me about it! He said they do a talent show every two years. I got lucky that I transferred here the year they were doing it again. You just said you were going to participate but didn't have the chance. Well now you do!" He told him, holding the paper like it was some sort of precious treasure. Hyunjin couldn't help and laugh at him, quickly putting the boy in and headlock and ruffling up his hair even more.

Jeongin groaned and demanded for the step brother to let go, not wanting his hair to look even worse. Yet Hyunjin didn't care, making him look like he had just woken up and decided to sprint to school. "So! What's the little scheme you're trying to pull? Why are you trying to put me in the talent show?" He asked, teasing the boy. "Why don't you do it yourself! You've got plenty of talents! Like playing Superstar games like no tomorrow. Or being an annoying step brother?"

"Cut it out! I actually wanted to do it together you jerk." He muttered, a little awkward about the whole thing. "You know, like brothers taking the crowd by storm? I thought it would be fun! Plus your mom said you're a really good singer." He explained, finally escaping the boy's headlock and stepping away from him. "But if want to be difficult then I'll just do it with Seungmin."

Felix hit Hyunjin's shoulder, a wide smile on his face. "You should do it! I heard Han Jisung is supposed to be participating. Or at least that's what Changbin told me." The Aussie explained, catching the older brother attention. He practically froze in place, his head processing what he had been told. His face slowly contorted into a look of pure frustration and annoyance, something Jeongin hadn't seen his brother wear in awhile.

He looked at the two for answers, unsure of what was going on. "I'm sorry, what? Han who? I've never heard of this guy before." Felix laughed at Hyunjin's expression, teasing the boy for his frustrations. Though he quickly turned towards Jeongin and slung his arm around his shoulder. He lowered his head and whispered, as if the slightest mentioning of boy would make the boy explode.

"Han Jisung is this new guy in our class we got a few days ago. He practically has a rivalry with Hyunjin, because your brother despises the new kid." Felix explained, glancing up at him every so often. "Though, I think Jisung sees this as a fun game while Hyunjin might strangle him at any moment. It's lots of fun to see the two compete against each other in class."

"If Jisung does it, then I will to." Hyunjin declared, finally finishing off his reboot. He slapped his cheeks to make him come back to reality. With determination in his eyes, he grabbed the two boys by his shoulders. "I'm not going to let him get one step ahead of me again! Math? Understandable, I suck at it. Popularity? He's a chaotic new kid, people love those types of people! Talent? I'm going to mop the floor with that boy."
