━━ 𝗧𝗘𝗗𝗗𝗬 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗥 !

THE FIVE friends rushed to Quinn's room at the same time, standing in front of her door all next to each other just staring at the door. Chad grabbed Tara and Ellie's wrist and Anika ran to Mindy, locking hands with her girlfriend.

        Ellie looked at the door in front of them with worry filled inside of her.

        "Run," Mindy whispered. She was soon cut off as the door flew open and Quinn's dead body following as Ghostface pushed the body onto Anika

        Anika rolled Quinn's body off of herself as she loudly screamed at the horrific sight if Quinns body with blood all over.

        Ghostface stepped out from the bedroom, taking slow steps towards the group. Ellie's hand slipped from Chad's as Tara and him went to the front door and left.

        Ghostface tilted his head at Mindy as she and Sam were still kneeled down on the floor.

        "Oh fuck!" she exclaimed as the killer went for her and stab her shoulder. She fell back in pain as her hand gripped onto the open wound.

        "Mindy!" Anika yelled before trying to stop him from hurting his girlfriend anymore. "Stay the fuck back!" She gripped onto his leg, trying to pull him down.

        Ellie went over to Mindy and Anika causing ghostface to stab her in the hand making he loudly scream as tears flow down her face. "Shit!"

        Anika failed because Ghostface was much stronger than her. He grabbed her by the throat, tightening his grip then tilting his head again at the girl.

        "Anika!" Ellie yelled, not knowing what to do. To try and help her friend, Ellie wrapped her arms around ghostface's waist to pull him back only having him kick back into a wall and bumping her head making her groan loudly.

"Where the fuck are our knives?" Sam yelled while hold an empty knife holder.

Anika's face started to turn red, getting harder for her to breath. Mindy groaned in pain, unable to help her girlfriend.

Ghostface picked Anika up with his one hand and pinned her against the wall while plunging his knife deep into her stomach. She screamed in pain as he twisted the knife, moving it up.

Ellie kicked ghostface making him take the knife out of Anika and slashed her arm. She could've swore she her the killer mutter curse words in panic, but she forgot as she held her arm.

"Hey!" Sam screamed making ghostface turn. She then slammed the knife holder on his head making him fall.

Ellie and Sam grabbed Anika's hand—with the one she didn't currently have a hole in—to help her up. They all ran into Quinn's room. Sam slammed the door shut and locked it which kept him from getting in.

Anika, Mindy and Ellie sat on the bed, all three groaning in pain and losing a lot of blood. Sam tightly gripped onto the door handle while ghostface attempted to force his way inside.

The killer suddenly came to a stop and Sam looking over to see the bathroom door wide open. "Ellie, bathroom door."

Ellie stood up running to the bathroom door. She passed Quinn's dead hookup in the bathtub with multiple stab wounds and blood splattered everywhere, "Oh, fuck that guy's dead!"

She turned around quickly as Ghostface had gone around to the other door. She screamed and tried to slam the door shut but ultimately failed as the killer waved his knife around at her. He didn't aim for any important body parts but instead put a gash in near her left wrist causing her to scream in pain.

Sam went to help Ellie, the girls ran back into the bedroom, closing the other door on him. They both held it shut as Mindy came to help the two as Anika put pressure on her open wounds.

With her hands bloody, Mindy tried her best to lock the door while Ghostface tried to kick it down. She finally got it locked while Sam had moved from the door to try and push the dresser with help from Ellie, to try and barricade door. Anika continued to groan and grunt in pain.

The killer continued to kick the door down although he struggled while Ellie, Sam and Mindy pushed themselves against the dresser.

Danny caught the girls' attention from the window across from Quinn's room as he yelled. Sam moved from the door, as she ran to the window to open it. She looked down at the streets below, looking the high distance that they were trapped at, "Shit," she mumbled under her breath.

Ellie winced at the pain from her hand and arms as her while Ghostface continued to use all of his strength to try and kick the door down.

"Don't worry I got you!" Danny had picked up a ladder, sliding it through his window.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Sam was terrified. She didn't want to die, not like this. She needed to save her and her friends.

"Do you have a better idea?"

"Fuck. No." She gave in, realising that this was the only way out. She reached for the ladder, risking her life by leaning out of the window.

"You have to come one at a time!" Danny instructed them.

Sam whipped around, "You three go first!"

"Anika you need to go first!" Ellie yelled but Anika rapidly shook her head.

"I'm not going, someone needs to hold the door. Sam, you go!" Mindy turned to face her friend at the window.

"Sam goes first! We'll send Anika next."

Sam sighed as she didn't want to waste any time. She crawled through the window on all four limbs, moving slowly so she wouldn't fall. The screams of her friends inside the room scaring her.

"Really wishing I held on to Chad" Ellie grunted through gritted teeth.

As Sam continued to cross the ladder, she kept her eyes on Danny the whole time as he was the only thing helping her make it. The ladder started to rock on its own which scared her, but didn't stop her. "Come on, baby."

"She's losing a lot of blood!" Mindy moaned while the two girls still managed to keep ghostface out the room.

"Say something more positive," Anika threw her head back in pain.

"Sam made it, Anika you need to go next," Ellie looked at her friend, hating to see her in pain, as blood continued to gush out of her.

"Ellie, you go!" Mindy told her and a sob left her mouth as she walked over to the latter.

She climbed out the room, when a sob left her mouth because of the hole in her hand.

"Come on Ellie, you got this!" Danny encouraged her to move faster from her the safe side.

She nodded her head as tears left her eyes, continuing to cross over while wincing every time her hand touched the ladder.

Ellie wanted to speed up to try and help her friends, still trapped in the room but when trying fasten her pace, the ladder started to shake beneath her. She screamed and looked down at the ground underneath her. She took a deep breathe and looked at Sam and Danny calling her name, saying she can make it.

Ellie finally made it across crawling inside the room and Danny grabbing her by her waist and helping her inside.

"Anika, come on!" Sam screamed as she watched Mindy push the dresser fully over the door.

Mindy threw Anika's arm around her shoulder but her girlfriend started to cry, "I can't!" The both cried while trying to get the other to go first.

"Anika, you have to go!"

"No, Mindy, no!" she pleaded. "I'll be right behind you, I promise."

Mindy looked up at the door as ghostface had almost made his way inside the room. She gave Anika a long, passionate kiss, "I love you so much," she quickly turned around and looked at the ladder.

"I love you too,"

While Mindy started to crawl, all she could think about was her girlfriend who was a sitting duck in the other room. She groaned in pain as she tried to make her way across.

As Ghostface almost had the door fully open, Anika loudly started to cry while he waved his knife around from the outside. Mindy looked back at her Anika which motivated her to speed up. Anika groaned in pain as Mindy made it across. Danny grabbed her while Anika climbed through the window.

She looked down which made ten time harder to move across the ladder. The distance from the ladder to the ground was terrifying. "Oh God, I can't do it," she sobbed while shaking her head.

Tears leave Ellie eyes and she pleaded to the girl. "Anika, you can do this!"

"I can't! I can't do it!"

Anika slowly started to crawl as she tried to her best to not show fear or feel the pain as she crawled. She gripped tightly on each side, trying her best to move while behind her Ghostface had made it into the room. He climbed over the bed, standing behind Anika while facing the rest of the group.

There was a pure look of fear and sadness from everyone as they watched him stare at Anika.

"What?"

"Anika, you have to move right now!" Mindy yelled, making Anika turn around. She screamed loudly. Nobody wanted her to die, except for the heartless and faceless asshole behind the mask.

"Anika, please!" Ellie started to cry even more as she didn't want to lose her friend. One of her closest friends she made since they arrived in New York.

Their voices talked over each other, all trying to have Anika to continue crawling. Ghostface took his bloody knife and set it into the wooden window sill. His gloved hands gripped onto his side of the ladder while shaking it up and down.

"Anika you have to move!" Sam yelled.

Feeling as if there was nothing she could do, the girl had froze and screamed. She stole a glance at Mindy before shaking her head and trying to continue to make her way across. Ghostface moved the ladder from side to side and up and down harder each time. Ellie's heart dropped, scared of what could happen to her best friend. "Baby, I don't wanna die!" Anika yelled out to mindy.

Mindy leaned on Sam's shoulder sobbing loudly, "Please Anika!"

The masked killer violently moved the ladder around, making Anika lay there flat on her stomach as Sam screamed her name.

"I don't wanna die, please!"

"Anika, give me your hand!"

Ellie leaned out of the window slightly, stretching her hand out for Anika to grab.

She managed to grab it and relief washed over Anika for only a split second then suddenly, Ghostface flipped the ladder ove ron it's side, making her fall, slipping out of Ellie's hand. Falling to her death. Anika screamed loudly then it came to a sudden stop as her face hit the lid of the dumpster beneath them, then the ground.

Mindy gasped slightly, "Anika." she whispered as she watched her girlfriend bleed out on the floor. Ellie pulled Mindy away from the sad sight as she embraced her.

Sam looked up from the lifeless body on the ground to stare at Ghostface with shock in her eyes.

The killer picked up his knife wiping the blood from it.

Sam looked down again. She felt as if this was her fault. As if she could have stopped this happening. Saved Anika from dying, saving Mindy and Ellie from getting hurt. Preventing Danny to get involved in this madness. She felt as if it i was her fault for ghostface to follow her friends and family to the Big Apple.
