Gracelyn was a healthy baby born on August 21st 1980 to Eleanor Lupin (neè) Snape, and Remus Lupin. She was the light of their lives, as she was a smiley baby, that hardly cried and if she was quiet enough you could almost forget that she was in the room. With Gracelyn being born it meant the world to Remus, as he was finally happy with his newly wife and his new little girl. His world was almost complete and whole until one day where Remus left without another word. Eleanor would have kept Gracelyn but she needed to find Remus. Gracie didn't go to an orphanage, no, she went to live with the Weasley family. Who at that time only had five kids, Bill born Will, Charlie was the second oldest, Percy came next, and then you had the mischievous twins; Fred and George. Gracie is next, and the next boy is Ron, and then the only other girl Ginny.

Gracie was an easy kid growing up, as she never really cried, unless she needed to be changed. She entertained herself and kept to herself. She didn't really have any friends growing up, as being social isn't her fortè. She is reserved and keeps to herself. The only people that she talks to is her family; which is the Weasley's. She never heard from her father, and her mother is no where to be found, like she vanished out of thin air. So, the only real family that she had, was the Weasley's. Her room was in the basement, which was small, but she made it work. She liked it, because it was nice and warm for her.

When she was five years old, she had a gift, turning into a light gray wolf. Unlike her father, Remus, it wasn't painful for Gracie to transform into her wolf form. She would do it a lot anyway, mainly when she wants to run around the yard with Ginny to play with her. Ginny loved her so much, as Gracie was a fun-loving, adventurous, reserved girl. Gracie wasn't really big on being touchy-feely, as she wanted to be touched on her terms, which was mainly when her anxiety was bad. She also would lash out at people if they irritated her as her eyes would change to a dark red. No one really knew why it would do that. The only thing that could calm down Gracie when she is like that, is Molly. The only times when Gracie's anxiety would also flair up is when she's overstimulated and overwhelmed, as she will become irritated, and snappy when she's overstimulated.

Her fear is disappointment mainly when she gets into trouble (which is rarely), and Molly says that she's disappointed (which also happens rarely, but it will happen) in her. Also when she feels like she disappointed her family, then she will isolate herself in her room and not come out for hours at a time, even for food. Gracie also never really knew why, but she was always skinny and almost twiggy most of her life, even when she would be eating a lot, she never really gained that much weight. So, she would wear baggy clothes to try to cover up, but then she would get overheated not to long later. She realized that she couldn't win either way, as it would be something that she would have to deal with for the rest of her life.

When she was ten years old, she decided to pierced her ears. It wasn't her brightest choice but Molly eventually got over it, as it wasn't that bad. She just mainly thought that she was too young at that time to have pierced ears. Ginny ended up doing the same thing when she was ten, which Gracie ended up doing for her sister.

Even though Gracie isn't technically blood related to the Weasley family, they all treated her the same as everyone else. She wouldn't also be lying if her least favorite thing to do is D-Gnoming the garden. It is her worst thing ever in the entire world.

When she had enough money, she would buy little trinkets for her room as she has an entire collection of trinkets that she's either bought or it was given to her. They are her prized possession. She would oftentimes not really go to bed, and just play with her trinkets. She also went through a phase of reorganizing her room when she was nine years old. It was a random thing that she would do, when she couldn't sleep. First it started with her reorganizing her dresser, and her bookshelf and next thing that Molly knew is her bed is where her dresser used to be, and her dresser is where her bookshelf used to be at, her bookshelf is where her dresser used to be at. It was completely random, but she enjoyed it a lot. It was fun to her, she would obviously use magic to move her dresser (she's no dummy, dressers are heavy man) she just wouldn't tell Molly that part. Though the older woman guessed she used magic for that part.

Did she question it why a nine year old was using magic to reorganize her room? No. Was Gracie harming herself? No.

There was no real reason why she had to question her, it just got confusing at her a while, especially when it was laundry day. Or when she was dropping something off for Gracie. But other than that Gracie was fine.

Beside her being an average, reserved girl, her other possession that she had was her muggle music collection. Which she can thank Arthur on that part. He's fascinated with muggles, that it makes for conversations really interesting at the dinner table. That's Gracie's favorite part of the day is when her father comes home and hearing a muggle story. It also oddly worked as a bedtime story before he goes to work.

Though however when Arthur wasn't working, him and Gracie would just be spending time together as she was a Daddy's girl, and also a Mommy's girl. When Gracie was six she went through a whole 'tea party' phase, it was fun, she would be dressed up like a princess, and she would make Arthur wear a paper crown that Gracie would spend at least two days on. She would make the bracelets too, as she didn't have anything else to do in her life. She had more time than anything, so might as well make bracelets.

Like every kid when they turn eleven, Gracie got her letter to Hogwarts, along with Ron. She was ecstatic about going to Hogwarts. With the older kids at Hogwarts, and where Molly and Arthur went to school at, she learned a lot. Molly said that Gracie is a Ravenclaw because of her intelligence and her wit. That was also the same house that her mother; Eleanor was in.

But little did she know was when she got into Hogwarts, her life would change, for the better, but it will also become worse when a kid named Draco Malfoy sets eyes on her.
