Brianna's POV

I was in the Man Cave watching Dad, Henry and Ari on TV and they were accepting medals from the Vice Mayor of Swellview. I didn't want to go because I don't like crowds. I've been to his awards before but it's pointless. Sometimes he will bring food that was leftover, especially Pizza. Its the best. I wasn't really paying attention to it, I was playing with Stella.

Brianna's POV

Dad, Henry, Charlotte, and Ari returned and we have a problem. Dad got hurt and he wasn't okay.

"Come on, Gooch. How many more of these tests are we gonna do? He needs to help me with my project!" I complained to Gooch.

"Shush." Gooch said. "Now remove your right glove, then hold your right hand."

Dad removed his glove as Gooch stood behind a giant flame thrower. "This is getting on my nerves, and I need to be Bri's assistant for her project." Dad said.

My eyes grew as Gooch fired up the flame thrower. "Hold the fire!"

Gooch blasted fire at dad's hand as he cried out in pain. "Ow! Ow Ow!" He screamed and Henry and I watched as Ari and Henry ate the yogurt.

Gooch lowered the flame thrower and dad's hand was burnt and he was in terrible pain.

"Do you still feel the pain in your hand?" Gooch asks.

"Yeah!" Dad groaned in pain.

"I don't get it! It's been two seconds the pain should be gone now." I said picking up Stella, and petting her.

"We need more tests." Gooch declares.

"No, we've checked enough of my body parts." Dad protests.

"What about his butt?" Henry asks and Ari nods. "Check his butt."

I glared at my sister and she smiles sheepishly at me.

"That's an important part." Ari adds.

"We should check your butt." Gooch confirms.

"Check my butt how?" Dad questions.

Gooch picked up an bow and arrow, that looked remarkably like mine.

"Isn't that Bri's bow and arrow?" Dad asks and I walk towards Gooch and take my bow and arrow out of his hands.

"I shall use this bow and arrow!" I declared.

"I bet you can shoot your dad's butt without looking?" Henry asked and I scoffed.

Without looking I shot dad in the buttz and he fell to the floor.

"Owie." Dad said rubbing his bottom.

"Are you done yet. Let see you've already stabbed his neck, poured acid on his foot, toasted his hand, and I shot him in the buttz anymore tests." I said to Gooch putting away my bow and arrow.

"Gooch, what's going on with me?" Dad asks, and he gets up using my hand. "No one's been able to injure me since I was eight years old."

"Hey everyone!" Charlotte calls. "Come look at this."

"What's up?" I ask her.

"Watch this footage from the award thing yesterday. I'll play it in slow motion." Charlotte says and plays a part of the footage slowly. As Captain Man and Girl Danger was taking a picture with an elderly woman, this lady came by and sprayed him with something without him noticing.

"See right there? You see that woman with the perfume?" I ask.

"She intentionally sprayed me." Dad gasps with belief.

"But perfume wouldn't make you lose your powers." Henry reasons.

"True. Perfume wouldn't." I state, looking over at Ari before nodding our heads.

"Only the tears of the Jolly Beetle." We said simultaneously.

"Jolly what?" Charlotte and Henry said simultaneously.

I mentioned Charlotte to move and I scrolled up all types of beetles. I'm not a fan of beetles so I just scrolled through until I landed on the Jolly Beetle.

"There! The Jolly Beetle." Gooch points out petting Stella.

"One of the rarest and happiest bugs on Earth." Dad explained.

"So you guys are saying that a Jolly Beetle can take away Captain Man's power?" Charlotte questions.

"Not the beetle itself." Dad begins.

"The beetle's tears." Gooch finishes.

"You see, when they cry, their tears contain an enzyme, like an acid that breaks down molecular density." Dad explains.

"And molecular density is what makes Captain man undamageable." Gooch finishes.

"I don't think that's a word." I chimed and dad poked my cheek.

"Don't change the subject Banana." Dad said using my nickname that he gave me, since I was a kid.

"That lady's perfume..." Henry trailed off.

"Contained the tears of the Jolly Beetle." Gooch says.

"Ah, that's impossible." Dad groans. "To fill a whole perfume bottle you'd need tears from dozens of Jolly Beetle's."

"And they would all have to be crying." I add.

"But if those beetles are so Jolly, what would make them cry?" Henry questions and all of them but me looked up in confusion.

"That's it!" I exclaimed, getting all of their attention.

"What now." Henry groaned looking over at me.

"Fine if you won't listen then I won't tell you." I spat at him.

"What did you figure out?" Dad asked.

"Well, if they are happy they have to be watching something funny..." I said trailing off.

"Then if they are sad they have to watch something that is sad." Dad said, standing up.

"That makes so much more sense." Ari said.

Arianna's POV

Later, Charlotte left and Gooch went back upstairs. An emergency was happening and dad was no where to be found, so Bri and I were searching for him. Henry left because Dad gave him the rest of the day off. Which he didn't say no to.

I mean who wouldn't want to leave work when your boss lost his powers.

A tiger got loose and Dad and Ari are supposed to catch it.

"Dad!" We call as we walked through the man cave.

"Dad!" Ari calls and we went to the monitors. Bri pulls our the intercom speaker. Dad to the Man Cave. Dad to the Man Cave."

"Gooch appeared on the screen. "Hey!"

"What Gooch?" I asked.

"Why haven't you left yet? The tiger is roaming free." Gooch asks Ari.

"We are waiting for Dad." Bri answers.

"I'm coming!" Dad calls and appears at the top of th stairs.

I take a step back when I see him wearing a helmet, and safety equipment. Bri and I share a look, before rolling our eyes at Dad as he trudged down here, almost tripping.

"What are you wearing?" I asked him.

"Just you know, some extra protection." Dad remarks, carefully walking up to us.

"You don't need extra protection, you're Captain Man." I point out.

"But I can he injured now." Dad reasons.

"Well, you're still a great fighter." Bri argues.

"Tigers can be vicious." Dad complains.

"Maybe this one's nice." I shrugs. "I mean come on. Let's not stereotype all tigers."

"Do you know last night I went across the street, and a bee stung me?" Dad tells us and we roll our eyes as he scratches his hand. "And now I have a red bump."

"Did you provoke the bee?" Bri ask him.

"Yeah Banana, I was flirting with the bee's girlfriend." Dad sarcastically remarks and I shake my head with an annoyed look. "I was all 'zzz zzz' and she was all 'zzz zzz."

"I don't need the attitude Dad." I scold him.

"Dad it's our job to protect Swellview." I said.

Dad groans as he removes his helmet. "Oh, face it girls. I've lost it. I can't protect Swellview! I couldn't protect a duck from a Chinese restaurant."

"Dad." Bri sighed as I walk towards the tubes as Dad walks the opposite way behind the monitors.

"Good Luck R!" I call and she grins at me.

"Thanks Bria!"

Bri's POV
It's been two days since Dad lost his power and Henry and Ari have been doing all the work by their self. Dad has done nothing but sitting on his butt and eating meat. It's irritating that Dad is so afraid of getting hurt now. But Henry is vulnerable to everything even with Ari's help with her powers it's still not enough.

I upstairs with Charlotte because we found a way to get Dad his power back. We went down to the Man Cave which was a horrible ride because the elevator was tor needs to be fixed.

"We found something!" Charlotte chirps up.

"What did you guys find?" Henry asks her.

"That Jolly Beetle's eat one thing." I begin.

"What?"

"Japanese Fish Flakes." I inform.

"Fish flakes?" Henry says with confusion.

"Yeah!" Charlotte expresses and she went up to my Dad who was curious. "And two weeks ago, 100 pounds of them were shipped to a warehouse right here in Swellview."

"A load of fish flakes. That would feed dozen of Jolly Beetles?" I question with a grin.

"Someone who need a lot of Jolly Beetle tears!" Henry remarks.

"Enough to spray Captain Man." Charlotte adds.

"Where is the warehouse?" Henry asks.

"Downtown, Abbey Road." Charlotte informs.

"Ray let's go." Henry tells Dad who moves away.

"No! I can't fight bad guys in my position!" Dad denies, Ari's hair is slowly turning red.

"He's afraid now, because he can be injured." I scold him.

"Well, who wouldn't be afraid?" Dad reasons. Ari's eyes are glowing a bright red.

Uh oh she's about to snap in a few seconds.

"How about me?" Henry exclaims. "I'm your sidekick and I've been helping you do all kinds of dangerous stuff, and I've never had any powers! I can be hurt!"

"Which is why I pay you nine dollars an hour!" Dad remarks and Ari throws a fire ball at Dad.

"Hey!" Dad exclaimed and she rolled her eyes.

"I'll be back." Henry says.

"Where you going?" Charlotte asks.

"To do my job." Henry glares at Dad.

"Well, go with him." I tell Dad.

"I can't." Dad sadly says and Henry sighs.

"I'll go!" Ari said we all turned around and see Ari in her Iron Suit.

"He means he won't." Charlotte corrects him.

"Have you seen my bee sting?" Dad asks, showing her the tiny bump on his hand.

"Just forget it! We don't need Captain Couch." Henry scolds and presses his belt, making a tube encase him.

Ari gets in a tube and presses her belt buckle. "Up the tube!" They both said.

"Look the bee hurt me." Dad pouts and me and Charlotte glare at him.

"Why don't you be a true superhero and help Ari and Henry out, instead of being a big baby?" I snap at Dad before grabbing Stella and marching towards my room.

We got the Beetles to be happy by watching drake and josh and it worked.

We moved the beetles out of the way so Ari can fire ball Dad.

I was extremely nervous, I mean this can kill Dad. I don't want him to die, that's the last thing I need.

Ari gets a big fire ball ready to blast Dad.

"You realize if the Beetle euphoric acid didn't work..." Gooch said trailing off.

"I can't hold it much longer, now or never!" Ari demanded.

"Now, fire away!" Dad demanded and I covered my eyes.

Ari blasted Dad, then he fell down on the ground.

I peek to see smoke around him from the fire ball.

"Daddy?" I softly said and beamed when Dad kicked up his feet.

"Yes!" I laugh, and run into his arms. He kissed my cheek.
