It was early, so early the sun only started to shine over the rooftops, but in Anvard were the people up and already started to do their work.
Only one boy, maybe seventeen, didn't seem to work.
He walked fastly through the castle, calling for his brother, but he couldn't find his twin anywhere.
He opened the room of the library and the girl that sat there reading looked up.
"Corin! What on earth did you think?", she hissed.
"Terribly sorry, Aravis, but have you seen Cor?"
Aravis shook her head.
"No, I haven't. Not since...yesterday evening?"
Corin sighed.
"Thanks", he mumbled and closed the library door again.
A voice behind him said:"You are searching me?"
Corin turned around and saw his brother's face - or, maybe his own.
"Yeah, I was searching you", Corin growled.
Cor frowned.
Then he realised that Corin was probably searching him because he had seen his dirty riding boots.
Yesterday Cor had wanted to go on a ride with Aravis and because he hadn't known where other riding boots were he had given his boots to Aravis and took Corin's for himself.
Cor probably didn't make the best pokerface, and Corin noticed that.
His facial expressions grew even angrier and Cor turned aroun and ran.
"Cor!", Corin yelled.
Aravis watched the two brothers from the library door and shook her head.
"Idiots", she mumbled.
