Sixty-sixth Prompt: In the clouds

"Hello? Best friend to Susan, can you hear me?"

Susan looked up. "What?"

Her best friend giggled. "Wow, you really didn't pay attention, huh? What's going on?"

Susan sighed. "I don't even know, that's the problem! My head is always up on some cloud and I don't know what I can do against it!"

The doorbell rang.

"Oh no, that's probably Edmund", her best friend said. Susan nodded.

"Time to go home", she said and immediately regretted it.
It's time to go home, she heard Peter saying.

Her best friend opened it and Susan heard her saying:"Hey, Edmund!", in a very flirting voice.

"Hello," he answered, sounding rather annoyed. "Is Susan ready to go?"

"Yes, give me a minute", Susan said and tried to gather all the things she had brought.

Then she said goodbye to her friend and walked down the street with Edmund.

"Are you okay?", he asked softly.

Susan sighed. "I guess I miss Narnia", she said.

Edmund smiled. "I miss it too, really."

"But you will come back!", Susan said and although she didn't want to cry, tears formed in her eyes.

"But that doesn't keep me from missing it,right? We all want to go back."

Susan nodded. Her thoughts fell back to Narnia, to Aslan.

"Hello?", Edmund finally asked a little but louder. Susan looked up.
"What?"

Edmund laughed.
"I guess you really have your head up on some cloud!"
