Caspian ran through the how. He wanted to meet up with Trufflehunter, Nikabrick, and the professor, to discuss what they should do now.
The kings and queens of old hadn't shown up yet, too many Narnians seemed to know about the plan, and these Narnians became inpatient.

Caspian stopped before the room with the stone table and put one hand to his stomach.

He was so hungry! There wasn't much food left, and Caspian wanted the Narnians to have the food. They were more important than him, after all.

He entered the room, but there were two other persons, next to Nikabrick.

But Caspian couldn't mind.

He needed to know what he had to do now.

A long discussion followed and Nikabrick always made strange remarks.
"Nikabrick, won't you tell us who your two friends are?", Caspian finally asked.

Nikabrick continued to ramble about how everyone was allowed to bring friends except him.

Caspian looked to the door when he heard something. Was someone listening?

His stomach growled.

"So that's your plan! You want to awake the White Witch!", Caspian called.

Nikabrick grinned.
The door burst open and three people came running in, but Caspian couldn't pay attention to them, because one of Nikabrick's "friends" came running up to him.

Someone ran against the candle and the room was put into dark.

Something bit his arm.

Caspian's stomach hurt. He needed to eat something!
He tried to push the thing away, that had bitten him, but he was too weak.

Caspian swung his sword, hit something, it made a "thud" when it fell to the ground and the grip around his arm loosened.

Silence reached his ear.

"Ed?", said someone.

"I'm here", someone else answered.

Someone lit something and they all gathered around the small light.

Trufflehunter and the Professor were still there, and Trumpkin was also here.
But there were two boys, one younger and one older than himself.
He didn't know them.

"You are Prince Caspian, right?", the older boy asked.

Caspian nodded.

"Yes. But I have no idea who you are", he said.

"That's High king Peter!", Trumpkin said.

Caspian's eyes widened.

High king Peter?

His stomach growled again.

"You haven't eaten anything today, have you?", the professor scolded.
Caspian looked down.
He hadn't.

"The Narnians need it more than me!", he defended himself.

King Peter frowned.
"If you shall be king, I don't think that they need it more. Of course, as a king, you should serve your people, but you need to take what you have to take. You have to lead them to victory, always remember that."

And Caspian did.
