Susan's eyelids almost dropped. How on earth was she supposed to make it through the day?
Her heart skipped a beat when she heard a noise behind her.
She turned around and saw her lipstick lying on the ground.
She had almost forgotten that one.
She bent down and took it, while turning it so she could see the engraving in the silver part.
Susan Pevensie.
It had been a birthday present, but Susan barely used it anymore.
She got up and placed the lipstick on the side. Then she walked out of the bathroom and down the stairs.
She grabbed her coat and her keys and walked outside.
It would be a long, long day.

Susan closed the door with a sigh.
It had, indeed, been a long day.
She put her coat down and the first thing she did was walking up to the bathroom, so she could finally wear something else.
Her gaze fell to the lipstick.
Something about it felt off.
Susan Pevensie.
It was her name.
Something was off with her name.
Susan took the lipstick and studied her name for any spelling mistakes, but she couldn't find any.
Susan the Gentle, something said inside her head.
What was that supposed to mean.
Susan looked up and wanted to look at herself in the mirror, but the face that looked back wasn't she.
It was a lion.
Scared she stumbled back but the next second, the lion was gone.
Susan looked back down at the lipstick.
Susan the Gentle.
Wasn't that how her siblings had called her in this game?
Hadn't she been Queen Susan the Gentle?
Susan looked back up again and saw the lion again. He seemed to smile.
"Susan", someone said, and Susan was sure that it had been the lion, although he hadn't moved anything of his face.
"Who are you?", she whispered.
"You'll get to know me", the lion said. "But actually you already do."
Susan looked back at the lipstick.
"Aslan", she whispered and realisation hit her.
"Aslan!", she said louder and looked up - but her own reflection stared back at her.
"Aslan!", she called. "No, Aslan! Oh, please Aslan, come back!"
But nothing happened.
"Oh Aslan! Come back! I believe now! Please, come back!"
But he didn't.
But Susan did believe now, and nothing made her stop believing.
