Nandini reached home and entered the house. She saw Vibha already waiting for her.

As soon as Vibha saw her she came running to Nandini amd asked for her gift.

Vibha: dii...mera gift?

Nandini: haan...baba relax...deti hun..atleast let me get fresh and up.

Vibha nodded and let her go. Well it is all her excitement to get gifts on her birthday.

Nandini fresh and up and came to Vibha with 2 packets. She gave them looking at 2 packets Vibha said taking them.

Vibha:yee...do do gifts.

Nandini chuckled and said

Nandini:ek meri taraf se aur ek Manik sir se.

Listening Manik sir Vibha was shocked she didn't know what to say.

Vibha:u mean to say... Manik sir your boss gave me gift?

Nandini nodded and Vibha asked

Vibha:why?

Nandini:arey nothing yrr... I got down to get ur gift tab I told about ur birthday so he also baught for you.

Vibha:hmm... I need to thank him.

She took her phone and called Manik. Nandini was shocked to react but Vibha had already called.

Here Manik was with Priya and Cabir Ram had some wirk so he went out. His phone rang so he looked at the caller ID and was surprised but soon smiled like fool.

Priya and Cabir were surprised looking at Manik who was smiling just looking at the caller ID. Manik felt strong gazes and he looked up and saw them.

Manik immediately changed his expression and picked up the call and went away.

Priya and Cabir looked at him going away.

Priya:mujhe aisa kyun lag raha ki yeh kaam se gaya...

Cabir:mujhe bhi lagta hai...

They both looked at each other and smiled evilly. Here Manik picked up the phone and said happily

Manik:haan Nandini...

Vibha:hello???

Listening her voice Manik was confuse because he knows Nandini's voice.

Manik:whose this? This is not ur number...this is Nandini's number...hello? Are you dumb? Bol nahi sakte kya?

Manik didn't let Vibha say anything Vibha immediately said as soon as he stopped.

Vibha: well if you could stop questioning like this then only I can speak...and by the way I am not dumb.

Nandini was shocked and scared too as Vibha spoke to her boss like that. Here Manik too was surprised then he listened her

Manik was relaxed as he thought something might have happened with her but she was okay.

Manik:oh..no need to say thanks..and ya Happy birthday to you dear.

Vibha: thank you and I liked the pendant. U have a great choice.

Vibha:sir I hope aap meri di ko ache se treat karte ho?

Nandini snatched the phone from her and Nandini immediately said

Nandini:so sorry sir...she behaves like this only.

Manik smiled and replied

Manik:arey no problem infact she is funny...

Nandini:no.. I mean aapko aise questions karna and all...so...

Manik:arey koi na..chalega...and what is this sir sir laga rakha hai? Mera naam Manik hai so you can call me by name.

Nandini:par main kaise sir.

Manik: Nandini we r friends and vaise bhi hum office mein nahi hai...so chill.

Nandini:okay..sorry once again.

Manik:arey I said na...no need to say sorry.

Nandini:okay.. good night.

Manik:good night.

Manik smiled as he cut the call. He remebered Vibha's and his conversation and felt happy he don't know why.

He turned to go but saw Priya and Cabir standing over there with their hands folded around their chest.

Manik:kya hua? Aap log yaha?

Priya:kaun thi?

Manik:huh?

Cabir: beautiful hai?

Priya: kya karti hai?

Manik was shocked to reply anything. Priya and Cabir came and made him sit on the bed with him in between.

Priya:bata na..kaisi dikhti hai? Sundar hai?

Manik:maa..kya aap bole ja rahe ho?

Priya:arey budhu jisse baat kar raha tha uski baat kar rahi hun..

Manik:ohh...voh..maa she is my p.a yrr...

Priya:p.a huyi toh kya hua?...bata na..

Cabir listening p.a stopped in his track he was lost somewhere.

Priya:bata na..

Manik:maa...main sone ja raha hun...aap bhi jao...

Saying this he left from there smilingly and Priya said

She noticed Cabir all silent she shook him and asked him what happened to which he nodded in no.

Cabir:main chalta hun...good night mom.

Priya:good night.

Cabir left from there and directly went to Manik's room. He noticed Manik going to lay down on the bed Manik looked at him and asked

Manik:tu yaha kya kar raha hai?

Cabir:voh sab chod mujhe kuch important baat karni hai.

Manik knew if it wasn't important he wouldn't have come at this hour. Manik nodded and Cabir sat on the bed and started saying.

Cabir: Manik mujhe na Nandini ke baare mein baat karni hai.

Listening her name Manik became attentive he asked immediately

Manik: Nandini ke baare mein? Kya?

Cabir:well parso maine na..use aur Navya I mean my p.a they were talking when I heard them talking about Nandini's bua.

Manik:ohh the day when she went as emergency came kya hua? Kya baat hai?

Cabir: I think Nandini ki bua is not good..

Manik frowned and asked

Manik:matlab?

Cabir: matlab... I heard Navya saying they torture Nandini and still she is staying there. Navya even suggested to move out but she didn't agree.

Manik was angry listening this. His eyes had fire,his heart was at fire listening it.

Manik:but why would her bua behave like that? And what do you mean by they?

Cabir:well they ka toh mujhe pata nahi..aur na nahi iska reason. I just wanted to say this to you..as u r interested in her.

Manik was all serious when he said first but later he said that u r interested in her Manik shouted

Manik:ayeee...

But Cabir had already gone away. Manik smiled at his line but he still didn't know why he was smiling.

But soon his smile went away as he recollected whatever Cabir said and then remembered the day of interview her hand had bandage, after that she wasn't able to walk properly.

Manik: something is really there...huh...
