The snow covered the grounds as the train chugged past them. Harry, Ron and Rosalyn shared a compartment. Hermione was also on the train, but Rosalyn did not know where. She had just told Harry and Ron the story of what she had overhead last night.
"Unbreakable vow? Are you sure that's what Snape said?" Ron asked.
"Positive," Rosalyn said. "I remembered what they were of course, when Fred and George made you make one when we were five..."
"What?" Harry asked.
"Well, you can't break an unbreakable vow," Ron started to explain.
"I'd worked that out myself, funnily enough," Harry said sarcastically.
"You don't understand," Ron said. "Ah, bloody hell..."
Rosalyn soon knew why. Lavender was outside their compartment, but instead of bursting in and snogging Ron, she did something different. She breathed on the window, creating condensation, then she drew a heart with the initials R + L inside it.
Rosalyn rolled her eyes.
"Lovely," Harry commented awkwardly.
"All she wants to do is snog me! My lips are getting chapped, look!" Ron leaned close to Harry, showing him his 'chapped lips'.
"I'll take your word for it," Harry said, leaning away from him.
Suddenly, Hermione appeared out of nowhere. She saw the heart and read the initials inside it, then rushed away. Rosalyn shuffled awkwardly in the compartment.
"So what happens to you?" Harry asked, bringing her back to real life. "What happens if you break an unbreakable vow."
Ron and Rosalyn looked at each other for a second before replying in unison.
"You die."

Christmas at the Burrow was always a great affair. Lots of people were there, everyone was happy, but best of all for Rosalyn, a lot of Order members had dropped by. Which gave her a great opportunity to tell them about what she heard between Malfoy and Snape.
"Voldemort has chosen Draco Malfoy for a mission," Lupin repeated on one occasion when he, Izzy, Arthur, Tonks, Harry and Rosalyn were talking. Rosalyn was sat on the sofa, legs and arms crossed, begging them to believe her.
"I know it sounds mad," she sighed. "But you have to believe me."
"Oh I believe you, alright," Izzy, who was doing much better recently, said. "If there's anyone who I never thought changed it was old Snivelus."
"Izzy, that's enough," Lupin told his old friend before sighing and turning to the other feisty red head before him. "Has it occurred to you, Rosalyn, that Snape was simply pretending to offer Draco help so that he could find out what he was up to?"
"Didn't sound like it," Rosalyn snapped. "Look, what is wrong with you? I've told you what I heard, I told you what I think- is- does- do you think that Snape is more trustworthy than me?"
"Perhaps Rosie's right, Remus," Tonks intervened. "To make an unbreakable vow-"
"Of course Rosie's right," Izzy put in. "Moony, the evidence is overwhelming-"
"But he won't believe that, he'll think I made it up," Rosalyn snarled hotly.
Lupin spared her a long, heavy, sigh before speaking. "It comes down to whether you trust Dumbledore's judgement. Dumbledore trusts Snape therefore I do."
"Dumbledore can make mistakes he said so himsel-" Rosalyn started.
"You're blinded by hatred!" Lupin raised his voice.
"I'm not!" Rosalyn shouted back.
"Yes, you are!" He persisted, bringing his voice back down again. "People are disappearing, Rosalyn, daily. We can only place our trust in a handful of people. If we start fighting amongst ourselves we're doomed."
"That may be," Rosalyn shot back. "But also, if we start believing traitors over the ones we actually trust... that's when we're doomed."
Izzy sniggered slightly. "She got you there, Moony."
Lupin rolled his eyes.
With that, Rosie got up and headed to her room. She didn't really care about what Lupin thought, because she was sure of what she did. Malfoy was up to something, and Snape was helping him to do it.
"Rosie?"
She turned on the stairs. Arthur was there. "Can you come with me? It's about what you told me before you boarded the train on September first."
Rosalyn nodded, interested. She remembered talking to Arthur about Malfoy, asking him to look into the business further. He led them to the garage, just off the house.
"You'll have to forgive Remus," Arthur said as he looked through all the muggle junk he had in there. "It faces toll, in his condition."
"And are you alright, Arthur?" Rosalyn asked him.
"We're being followed, all of us," he sighed. "Most days, Molly doesn't even leave the house. It's not been easy."
Rosalyn felt sorry for them. "Erm- did you get my owl?"
It was true. She had sent an owl to Arthur ahead of coming back to the Burrow, telling him everything about Dumbledore and everything new she had learnt about Malfoy's mission.
"I did," Arthur commented. "If Dumbledore's travelling, that's news to the Ministry, but perhaps that's the way Dumbledore wants it. As for Draco Malfoy... I know a bit more."
Rosalyn's heart gave a leap. "Go on," she urged, almost begging him to continue.
"I sent an agent to Borgin and Burke's," Arthur said. "I think, from what you described, the object that you, Harry, Ron and Hermione saw at the end of the summer, the object that Draco is so interested in, is a vanishing cabinet."
"A vanishing cabinet?" Rosalyn inquired.
"They were all the rage when Voldemort first rose to power," Arthur explained. "You can see the appeal. If anyone came knocking, all you had to do, was simply slip inside and vanish for an hour or two. Could transport you practically everywhere. Tricky contraptions, though, very temperamental."
"What happened to it? The one at Borgin and Burke's?" Rosalyn asked, knitting her brows together.
"Nothing, it's still there," Arthur said plainly.
Rosalyn could barely breathe. "Thank you," she said quickly to Arthur before leaving. She ran back into the house and up to her room where she wrote to Hermione about everything she had learned.
She couldn't believe it. If the object really was a vanishing cabinet, and Malfoy had one, then he could go anywhere, which meant-
Suddenly, a whoosh sound came from outside. Rosalyn ran out her room to the landing, where Harry and Ginny were standing, watching outside.
A ring of fire surrounded the Burrow, and materialising inside it right now was Bellatrix Lestrange. Fenrir Greyback, the werewolf, was there too. Suddenly, they ran out of a small gap in the fire and into the reeds and tall grass that surrounded the Burrow.
Suddenly, after a small glance between them, Rosalyn and Harry were running out of the door, ignoring Molly and Arthur's yells, and into the reeds.
"ROSIE COME BACK-"
But Rosalyn didn't care. Anger propelled her out the door and, as she jumped through the fire, she couldn't help but also feel the build up of adrenaline in her veins. She was aware of Izzy and Lupin following them, but she didn't mind. She just kept running, sprinting towards that horrible, horrible voice.
"I killed Sirius Black! I killed Sirius Black! Haha! You coming to get me!" Bellatrix hollered as she ran through the reedbed. Rosalyn sprinted after her, determined to get her this time.
She came to a stop just before a little pond with an island in the middle. "H-Harry?" She asked, barely whispering.
She saw something move in the bushes ahead of her. She was barely breathing out of fear. This wasn't Bellatrix Lestrange, she realised, this was Fenrir Greyback. And he wasn't someone that she wanted to catch.
He stepped out fully from behind the reeds. Rosalyn stepped back, paralysed in fright. She couldn't reach for her wand, she couldn't curse or hex him... she couldn't do anything. She was powerless.
Suddenly, there was a sound of splashing feet and Harry was soon in front of her, shielding her. Protecting his sister. "Stupefy!"
Greyback deflected it easily, but then he dematerialised in front of them, turning to black smoke. Rosalyn and Harry looked warily up at the sky. They heard several noises at once, turning different ways in the directions that they heard them.
"Harry! HARRY! ROSALYN!" They heard Izzy bellow. She and Lupin were running rapidly through the reeds, trying to reach the Potter twins before one of them got injured or killed.
Meanwhile, Bellatrix had made an appearance, along with Greyback, who had come back down beside her. The Potters were firing jinxes and hexes at them but they were deflecting them easily, whereas Rosalyn and Harry were having to try very hard to dodge the spells flying at them.
Lupin and Izzy suddenly ran out the reeds to the island where Rosalyn and Harry were stood.
They stood around the small island, backs to each other, wands up. Suddenly, Bellatrix and Greyback shot up into the sky. That's weird, Rosalyn thought, why would they retreat so easily...
But then it hit her, they weren't retreating.
They smashed through the Burrow and set it on fire. Rosalyn, Harry, Izzy and Lupin ran back through the reeds and eventually got back to the burning house. Out there, all the Weasley's had evacuated, looking out at the fire. Rosalyn watched it fall and crumble.
Just as Sirius had when Bellatrix had killed him.
