It was a cold and stormy night,
The kind of night that sends shivers down your spine as the wind howls outside.
In a small house on the outskirts of town, a young couple was eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child. As they sat in the hospital room, the father, John, nervously paced back and forth while his wife, Sarah, clutched onto his hand tightly. After hours of waiting, their prayers were finally answered as a cry filled the room.

'It's a girl,' the doctor announced, placing the newborn in Sarah's arms.

Tears of joy streamed down the couple's faces as they gazed at their beautiful baby girl. They couldn't wait to take her home and begin their journey as a family.

As they settled into their new life, strange things started to happen. The baby, named Lily, seemed to have an unsettling aura about her. She would stare off into empty spaces and her cries were unlike any other baby's, they were almost eerie. But the most unsettling thing was the way she would smile, a smile that sent chills down the couple's spines.

'Do you think there's something wrong with her?' Sarah asked John one day, concerned.

'I don't know, maybe she's just a baby,' John replied, trying to reassure his wife.

But as the days went by, it became clear that Lily was something more than just a baby and that some strange things were going on which they need to find out to protect their baby and themselves
They found out that the previous owners of the house had lost their baby girl due to a miscarriage and since then, strange occurrences had been reported in the house. The couple couldn't help but wonder if the two were connected.

5 years Later....

One night, as John and Sarah were sleeping, they were suddenly awakened by a chilling wail. They found Lily in her room, standing in her crib, surrounded by toys that seemed to be moving on their own. The couple was horrified as they witnessed Lily speaking in a deep, growling voice.

'Leave this house,' Lily said, her eyes glowing in the darkness.

Shaken to the core, John and Sarah decided it was time to seek help. They called in a paranormal investigator, Mr. Wilson, who had experience in dealing with supernatural entities. As he walked through the house, he sensed a strong presence in the nursery.

'This house is haunted by the spirit of the previous owner's baby,' Mr. Wilson confirmed.

'But why is she possessing our baby?' John asked, his voice trembling with fear.

'She must have found a vessel to latch onto, and unfortunately, it's your baby girl,' Mr. Wilson explained.

Feeling helpless, the couple asked Mr. Wilson to help them get rid of the spirit.
Mr Wilson asked the couple to wait outside the room while he investigates Lily's room and try to understand the situation.
He came outside half an hour later. The couple was worried and asked if everything was alright.
To their horror,the investigator said,your daughter, Lily is already dead.

Sarah(Lily's mother): B-But,she's inside! Playing in the crib!!

Mr.Wilson: That's not Lily.

Both Sarah and John grew pale.

John(frustrated): What nonsense is this!

Mr.Wilson:Your daughter has been dead for the past 1 month.
Her soul has been eaten away by a powerful entity residing in this house. After I perform the ritual on your daughter,there'd be nothing left in her body and she'd be lifeless.
Can you bear to see this? Your daughter lying lifeless infront of your own eyes?

John: You,you just want to kill our daughter and get away with it!!
Get out!
GET OUT RIGHT NOW!!

Sarah:Hey honey,wait! Wait a bit!

Sarah:
(in a worried tone)
So Mr.Wilson,as you said our house is haunted and probably....our daughter too.
Is there a way that you can protect us without involving the daughter.You know, She's...um...she's still just a child.

Mr.Wilson: As you wish,
I can perform a cleansing ritual,but that's not a permanent solution. Your situation is more serious than you think.

[He performed a cleansing ritual and the house seemed to be at peace for a while. Lily's behavior also improved,and they had her treated with some of the best child psychologists who all said that she was a normal child with no signs of mental disorder. The couple was relieved and thought that everything was back to normal.]

But one night, as John and Sarah were having dinner, they heard a loud crash coming from Lily's room. As they ran to check on her, they were horrified to find that Lily was levitating above the bed, her eyes glowing in the darkness.

"Lily,come down!!" Sarah screamed in worry.

Sarah: "Mommy is scared,please baby,come down!"

John mumbled: There's no way a child could fly on her own.

'Leave this house..,' Lily repeated, her voice deeper and more menacing.

John held Sarah's hand,stopping her from going near Lily.

John: "Pack your bags,Sarah. We need to leave!"

Quick!!

Sarah: "B-But, Lily. She's our baby."

John: " No Sarah,this is not our baby, This Is Not Lily. "

John: "We need to leave quickly if we don't want to get hurt."

Sarah(tears streaming down her cheeks): "But it's so selfish! Lily is our BABY! We're supposed to protect her."

John: "SHE'S NOT!! Please Sarah,try to understand."
"This is not our baby! Just look at her,she's a monster!"

"She has eaten our baby Sarah,there's no Lily. Our daughter,she's dead."

(It was a stormy night.)

Sarah weeped in agony.

John somehow managed to bring Sarah  downstairs,he quickly packed their bags and prepared to leave the house.

John: We need to get out of here, Sarah. Now!

But our baby, she's still inside. We can't leave her.Sarah said in a feeble voice,her voice hoarse from all the crying.

John: We don't have time. She's not our baby anymore. We need to save ourselves.

Sarah: But she's possessed, she needs our help.

John: No, we have to help ourselves first. We can't risk staying here any longer.

Sarah: I can't just leave her.

John: Sarah, listen to me. We have to leave her for now. We'll come back for her later. But right now, we need to leave this house.

Sarah: I don't know if I can leave her behind.

John: Sarah, trust me. Our baby is not herself. She's not our little girl anymore.

Sarah: How did this happen? How did our sweet, innocent baby become possessed?

John: I don't know, but we can't stay here to find out. We need to leave.

Sarah: Okay, okay. Let's go. But we'll come back for her, right?

John: Yes, we'll come back for her. Let's go.

The couple ran outside the house, hand in hand, with tears streaming down Sarah's face. They didn't look back as they got into their car and drove away.
