Chapter 9- Biana
*ahem* before you continue reading this chapter you should read the chapter before this if you already have. I rewrote it to better fit the plot of this story. Thank you and I hope you enjoy this badly written chapter.
-Makela
Biana was giving herself the fifth makeover of that day when she heard a knock at the door. She finished putting on her blush before she responded.
"COME IN!" She yelled from across the room.
Della, Biana's mother, opened the door. She had a cynical look on her face.
"Keefe brought this girl named Sophie and was wondering if she could stay here," She told Biana, "Are you ok with that?"
Biana recognized the name but not in the way she had expected. He brother, Fitz, used to go on missions to the human world. She thought it was because of some special council assignment but she slowly began to realize it wasn't. One time when she was walking by her fathers office, she remembered Alden talking with Fitz about a girl named Sophie in the human city called "San Diego". Biana dismissed the idea thinking it could've been another girl named Sophie but the thought still lingered in the back of her mind.
"Biana!" Della called to her, "Did you hear what I asked?"
"Oh yes sorry. I would be fine with it," She paused, "Just make sure she's no apart of... them."
Della whispered to Biana as if she didn't want anyone to hear "Keefe says she isn't and I believe him. I have a different idea of who she is though."
With that Della left leaving a confused Biana began to spiral over who Sophie was. She searched through her thoughts thinking about all the times Fitz and Alden talked about those missions. Luckily, Biana was a vanisher so she had eavesdropped pretty often. She thought back to the time of Fitz's last mission. Ironically, that was also the time she heard about Sophie.
Just then Biana heard a knock at the door, "Biana?" Her teal eyed brother called, "Did Mom tell you about Sophie?"
"Yeah, I have a weird feeling about her. I don't know if it's good or bad though."
Fitz stood at the door for a second before responding, "I think I know who she is."
Biana ushered Fitz in and led him to her bed. She went back to the vanity while Fitz continued, "So do you remember how I used to disappear for a few hours?"
"Yeah you and dad were trying to find a girl," Biana said as if it was nothing, "Continue."
Fitz glared at her, "Well the last time I went on those missions I also had to find a girl named Sophie. She had blond hair and had brown eyes."
"Oh yeah I heard you and dad talking about her once."
"Well after that mission we decided to give up since Sophie was our last person." Fitz said, "What if that's the Sophie I was trying to find?"
Biana thought about what he said for a second before continuing, "But isn't there a lot of girls named Sophie in the Forbidden Cities."
"Well this is a big coincidence."
"Do you think those missions had to do with what happened to dad?" Biana asked.
"I have no idea."
There was silence between them as they both started to think. But that was cut short when Della called them both.
"BIANA, FITZ COME DOWN HERE AND SHOW SOPHIE TO HER ROOM"
"Coming," They both said in unison.
They went down the long hall and down the stairs to the front gate.
When they both turned the corner, they stopped.
Standing there was a girl with blond hair and brown eyes.
