Prologue :

 "The Boy From The Sky, The Rubber Boy, and the Crucified Swordsman!"

(NO POV)

Isaac woke up and felt his head throbbing, "Oh my God my fucking head..." He slowly sat up and it was then that his eyes were met with another dark pair. "Oh, hey, you're up!" Isaac blinked before letting out a scream, "Where am I!?" The other pair of eyes belonged to a young man with shaggy black hair and a straw hat. "Well, you fell out of the sky, and you nearly sunk my boat on impact! But it's still floating so we're good! But you're in the middle of the sea!"

"WHAT!?"

"Yeah, pretty weird. I've never seen anyone fall out of the sky before! So what's your name?"

"I-Isaac...But Izzie's also fine."

The boy grins, "Nice to meetcha' Izzie! I'm Luffy and I'm gonna be King of the Pirates! And since you seem to be here with me for the long haul, I'm gonna let you be one of the first to join my crew!"

'Why me? And what the actual fuck did I get myself into?' He thought.

A shorter boy with pink hair and blue circular-rimmed glasses who was next to Luffy looked at the boy in the straw hat worriedly, "Luffy! Are you seriously not going to question where this guy may or may not have come from!? What if he's another pirate!?" He exclaimed.

Isaac looked down, he was wearing his short-sleeved blue hoodie and a pair of gray shorts, did he look like a pirate? He kinda thought that the pink-haired kid was being paranoid but chose not to say anything.

"I think you're forgetting that I'm a pirate too, Koby. Besides, he's a part of my crew now and there's nothing you can do about it! Isn't that right Izzie?" Luffy asked with a grin.

"Sure, why not," Isaac replied sheepishly. "But-uh-quick question, where are we going?"

"We're going to the Marine base island! I'm going to become a marine thanks to Luffy saving me!" Koby explained. Koby began telling Isaac about how he used to be a cabin boy on a pirate lady named Alvida's ship before Luffy saved him and helped him realize his dream wasn't worth giving up on which brought a smile to Isaac's face.

"Wow! The weather's great!" Luffy exclaimed, seeming to be completely tuned out of the conversation. Isaac chuckled, "Well good news is, as long as we keep going this way, we should reach the Marine base pretty soon!" Koby said. "Wow! You're amazing Koby! So you're saying we'll actually reach our destination?" Luffy asked. "Of course! These are the bare minimum of basic skills all sailors need in their arsenal!" Isaac tilted his head in confusion, "Really?" Koby looked at Isaac shocked, "Do you not know how to do that Isaac? I mean, I get Luffy doesn't seem to be a navigator but do you not know how to either?" Koby asked.

Isaac scratched the back of his neck, "Well if I'm being honest, before suddenly waking up in the middle of the ocean out of nowhere, I've never really been that far off the shore of beaches or anything. In fact, I've never really been on a boat before so I don't know anything really!" Luffy looks back at them, "Don't worry Izzie! I don't know most of that stuff and I'm your captain! But stick with me and you'll be just fine!" Luffy laughed, and Koby pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose. "This really isn't the time to be laughing Luffy...Because at the Marine base, we're on our way to, he's being held prisoner there."

"Who's he, Koby?" Isaac asked. "The great pirate hunter, Roronoa Zoro!" Koby exclaimed. "The man who's chopped up bounties like a bloodthirsty beast! People say he's a demon in human form!" Isaac giggles, "Oh I'm sure you're being overdramatic Koby, I'm sure he's not a demon! Besides, if we met him, he wouldn't hurt us as long as we aren't pirates right?" Koby looks at Isaac with an expression saying 'Are you for real?', "Well, Isaac, I may be fine, but you did just agree to join Luffy's crew...Luffy's pirate crew..."

Isaac's jaw dropped, "Oh shit."

~Timeskip~

As the small boat reached land, Luffy immediately hopped off and yelled, "We're here! The Marine base city!" Luffy and Koby walked around with a now very scared shitless Isaac next to them, "Seriously Luffy you must be out of your mind if you want to try and convince the pirate hunter to join you!" Koby said which caused Isaac to shout, "WAIT HE'S WHAT!?" Luffy looked at Isaac, "Oh, did I not mention that? We're gonna have this Zoro guy join our crew!" He said bluntly. Isaac looked down, "I'm gonna die..." He mumbled. "Don't worry Izzie, I'm still not fully decided. I gotta see if he's a good guy first." "IF HE'S IN PRISON THEN HE'S OBVIOUSLY NOT!" Koby shouted and Isaac felt practically faint before Luffy said, "Head's up Izzie!" and he tossed the pink and brown-haired boy a pear, "You gotta eat up, you're looking like a ghost!" Luffy said with a chuckle before biting into his own pear and tossing the merchant woman a coin, "Hey, do you know if Zoro's around here somewhere?" He asked the woman which caused a shout of fear from her and various others around the three boys. "Maybe we shouldn't mention the name Zoro here," Isaac whispered. "Anywho, let's head to the base! You wanna be a marine, right Koby?" Luffy asks as they all continue walking. "Yeah, but I don't think I'm ready yet. What I hear is that the man in charge of this base is Captain Morgan-"

More shouts of fear came out from the surrounding citizens. "Maybe don't mention that Morgan guy either..." Isaac said. Luffy laughed, "Man this town is weird!" meanwhile Koby was confused, "It's strange, I get why the name Zoro would cause a panic, but why the name of a respected Marine like Captain Morgan?" Isaac ended up tuning out the rest of the conversation between Luffy and Koby before realizing they made it to the base. Koby began to tear up ready to say his goodbyes to his new friends but Luffy shouted, "Come on Izzie let's get a better look from on top of the wall!" "Alright, I'm coming..."

"LUFFY! ISAAC! GET DOWN FROM THERE! WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING!?" Koby shouted in panic. "Now where's this demon!?" Luffy exclaimed. "Please stop referring to him with such words Luffy you're just making me more nervous..." Isaac shivered. Koby tried to rationalize with Luffy, "He's probably not out in the open, he's probably in a prison cell or-" "FOUND HIM!" Luffy shouted. "WHERE!? OH MY GOD, I'M NOT READY TO-AAAAAAAAAH!" Isaac ended up falling over the other side of the wall from trying to stay with Luffy and fell onto the dirt. "Wow, Izzie! I thought you were scared of him but you wanted a closer look after all!"

Isaac scrambled to his feet, "THAT'S NOT WHAT I'M DOING AT ALL LUFFY NOW HURRY UP AND HELP ME BACK OVER I DON'T WANNA D-"

"Hey, Pinky in the hoodie!" Shouted a voice, causing Isaac to flinch. "You and your friends are an eyesore. Get lost!" Isaac hesitantly and nervously began to turn around, "I am so so sorry, Mister Roronoa, my friends and I were just lea-"

Isaac felt his face heat up as he saw a crucified man with a black bandanna, tanned skin, and 3 gold-colored earrings on his left ear. And all the sudden intimidation Isaac felt no longer came from a place of fear, but rather he was now intimidated by how attracted he was towards the man.

"Oh fuck...he's hot. why, of all things, did the scary crucified man have to be hot!?" Isaac muttered.
