so my week has been eventful, has a venti iced caramel cloud macchiato which was really good. also had some personal shit happen to me which wasn't the greatest, i also still dislike my job, greatly.

and so i came online and wanted to like re do my profile and i did, and changed my basic ass covers to new basic ass covers but slightly prettier. and someone copped the old one and i posted bout it on my second account and i didn't @ them cuz i don't do confrontation — EVER. so surprisingly i had a ton of people asking who it was and of course i didn't give their @ because well we follow each other and she's commented / voted on some fics so i wasn't gonna be a bitch like that. so i conjured it up to a coincidence

UNTIL

girly changed her covers back to the ones she originally had within an hour of her being active.

that happened.

then i came across a SKAM fic where someone copped my layout for the CAST selection and AGAIN we follow each other so i didn't @ them because it's just a layout. i get it, aesthetic layouts catch peoples eyes, reason being why i look for inspo on twitter, instagram, here, so i get it, but if im gonna look at someones layout for inspo i don't want the entirety of it and so i change it up to make it my own and i give them credit ( I TRY TO) i get it, sometimes ppl change their @s i understand that 100%

STORYTIME ; i saw someones covers and i edited mine like theirs, though i hated how it turned out and so i was like "eh ill just change em when i get home from work in the morning" cuz i had work in an hour. if i were to keep em i would've tagged em but i didn't and that was stupid of me and i spoke with the girl and everything was fine cause i changed em in the end anyways but we were fine. so i get it you know, i've fucked up on that before on not giving credit

but when you're gonna take someones plot . . . 😶

i've come across books where it's the same fandom and they take bits and pieces of mine which is like whatever, but if you're gonna copy the face claim, the back story, and even some of their names.

i have this MARVEL fic. the layout, the aesthetics all of it i put time and effort into it especially the trailer. the trailer is MY BEST in my opinion that I've ever done. but the plot, is something i feel so strongly about since day 1 that i deadass posted roughly about 20 chapters within two weeks of it being published.

now i don't read many fics now a days but the ones i've come across, i haven't read many or any really where the oc is a sea nymph. when it comes to the fanfiction. the language was inspired by Game Of Thrones, her mannerisms is like Cat Valentine meets Castiel and Daenerys (the oc is Ariana Grande). Her backstory is like Ariel's but it correlates with her love interest for obvious reasons, who is James Barnes. Which is obviously purely imagination and MY idea. and this person has the same last name as my oc lol and some of the other ocs surnames.

anyways, i'm so in love with this book and it's pushing 20k reads which im so happy about that. i know it ain't much but the comments and votes is what makes me genuinely happy 🖤

and psa it aint just this book, there's about three or four other books of mine that people have taken plot ideas and people have PMd me about (which i appreciate you so much)

now all of these could be completely coincidental (at least im hopping so), because like i said i get we get inspired but if you're scared or shy to @ em at least make it different so its not the same thing yanno?

but if they write her like melody im throwin hands.
