mcu unpopular opinions part 3

101. Loki > WV > TFATWS

102. I lowkey wouldn't be mad if we got some Thoral action, the sexual tension between them in Endgame was 🤌✨

103. It's okay to like MCU Wanda but ONLY if you acknowledge her whitewashing. Same goes for Pietro/Peter Maximoff (MCU AND X-Men). They should have been played by Romani actors because they are Romani-Jewish. You can't excuse it, it's not like it would have been hard. Yes, Elizabeth Olsen is insanely talented but she's shouldn't have been casted in that particular role. Ignoring this would at "best" be ignorant. You can't get mad at people for being rightly upset about their ethnicity being change for a plot point when they could have worked around it or incorporated it in.

104. Tony, Loki, Natasha, Strange and Gamora/Nebula are the best written characters. Bruce also has the potential to make it up there as long as writers give him the chance and stop sidelining and weakening him.

105. Dr Strange is one of the best MCU movies but y'all aren't ready to admit that yet.

106. Not an opinion but 😱😱😱😱😱DR STRANGE 😱😱😱Multiverse of Madness 😱😱😱😱is about😱😱😱 ....... DR STRANGE 😱😱😱not WANDA 😱😱😱😱

107. ATJ Quicksilver > Evan Peters Quicksilver

I love Evan Peters so this hurt to say but it had to be said.

108. Thanos was kinda right but his execution was .... iffy at best.

109. Tony is supposed to be the "arrogant" "entitled" "asshole" but he's the only one, with the exception of Natasha, who actually pays for their mistakes instead of attempting to pass on the blame or ignore it.

110. Peggy was better with Sousa. And this is coming from someone who hasn't even seen Agent Carter.

111. Brutasha DID have chemistry, just not romantic.

112. Steve was all about being "honest" "self-aware" and "teamwork" until it was him not doing any of it or it didn't work for his own selfish cause.

113. Rocket is a better leader than most of the Avengers/other Guardians.

114. They were right by not making Bucky the next Cap. Best friends or not, he very clearly wasn't ready or fit for the responsibility. Sam was the perfect option.

115. Natasha would drop kick everyone who says "it should have been Clint". Natasha probably had her own reasons for wanting to do it.

A) An honourable death to make up for her past so she could have closure

B) She'd likely be the one who would have had to tell Laura and the kids that he had died + how it happened

C) As we can see from the Black Widow clip, she knows what that feelings like and likely didn't want to feel like that again. If Clint felt it instead, he'd go back to his family and have less responsibility in comparison to her and be able to heal properly

116. I feel like Natasha not getting a funeral was the right move. I hated it at first but when I heard Scarlett's reasoning it makes sense:

Natasha has always been, and is supposed to be, a mysterious character. I genuinely don't think she would have wanted a big fuss made over her, especially for something that would have been so sad for the other Avengers. It makes sense for her to go out quietly and intimately. I cant wait to see the what her send of in her movie is.

117. Everyone keeps saying the All-Female scene in Endgame felt too forced but I don't really think it was. The way I interpreted it was as a fun little way of appreciating some of the female characters and actors who are other wise just love interests or side characters. I don't think it was supposed to be this huge feminism thing everyone makes it out to be 🤷🏼‍♀️ also no one would have bat an eyelid if the exact same scene but with male avengers was included instead. y'all woulda been real quiet then hmmmmm

118. Thor has one of the best character developments.

119. Hawkeye isn't a totally useless member. Whilst he's no comic Clint, he is one of the things that helps hold them together (we're ignoring him being Team Cap because too me that made no sense). He's there to keep them grounded.

120. I honestly don't really care if the MCU doesn't stay totally true to comics. Sure, I love when they reference them and base storylines off them but I like when they improvise and come up with new ideas as well. Especially since a lot of the comics are fairly old and cater to an audience with different needs and wants. Though I do wish they had kept some things (eg. Wanda and Pietro being Roma-Jews, Clint being deaf)

121. All the Iron Man movies are good. Anyone who says otherwise is all LIES.

122. Natasha has more balls then the rest of them.

123. Y'all backing Team Cap even though we all know that if superheroes existed in real life, we'd admire them for a while then realise how much damage they can cause and decide we don't like them so much and speak about them like tiktok does the government.

124. Hela has one of the best suits.

125. Thor & Darcy were one of the funniest friendships. I wish she was in Love & Thunder.

126. Wanda's little mind tricks she used on the Avengers in Age of Ultron rubbed me the wrong way. Specially, Tony and Natasha. Natasha's was the only one based on a memory, so it brought up real, genuine trauma and brought back and past she's repeatedly stated she wanted to forget and move on from/still feels guilty about. As for Tony, she made him see the Avengers dying and influenced him to take the sceptre to create ultron because she basically played with his PTSD that we saw in Iron Man 3.

127. Gamora is just as traumatised as Nebula. They went through the same thing. Sure, Nebula was definitely tortured more for losing against Gamora. However, Gamora very clearly has survivors guilt because of what happened to Nebula. They both went through a lot at the hands of Thanos and it's unfair to say Nebula is the most broken sister when they're both broken in different ways via the same experience.

128. There ain't no way Bucky and Steve didn't come into the modern world without any outdated views/opinions. In the 40s, most people were racist and homophobic and what we consider offensive slurs today were socially acceptable back then. Sam or Natasha probably had to have the talk with them.

129. I love Monica becoming a superhero but I hope they don't make her a sidekick. It'd be much better if her and Carol fought together with Kamala Khan as EQUALS. No side kicking anyone. Equally, I hope introducing Monica and Kamala doesn't take away from Carol's importance and if it does, I 100% blame the butthurt misogynists who hate in Brie Larson and Carol Danvers with no valid reason for influencing the decision.

130. Peter and Gamora are one of the best relationships and him going to shoot Gamora, even though he never got the chance, is just as emotional as Wanda killing Vision. It was literally the same situation but no one cares how much it affected Quill emotionally just because he "slipped up" on titan. If it had been Wanda, y'all woulda been like "awww my poor baby🥺"

131. Iron Man was the first Avenger, not Captain America.

132. Although he had a fairly good redemption arc in GOTG2 with his death, Yondu was still emotionally abusive towards Quill and wasn't a good father figure anymore than Ego was.

133. "Wanda is the only person in the MCU capable of destroying an infinity stone" um .... Thanos destroyed all six?

134. Professor Hulk was a great addition to Banner's arc. Through all the movies he's constantly said how he hated the Hulk and the Hulk hated him, etc, and struggles to fit in and live a peaceful life as a scientist. He even says that being the Hulk made him attempt to commit suicide and some of you still say you prefer the raging hulk? Him having his own mind but the Hulk's strength is a good balance and allows him to keep his mental health in check and help the other Avengers.

135. Captain America is one of the last Avengers who should have been worthy enough to wield Mjolnir.

136. Wanda's red hair looks better with the new suit, but the brunette looked better with the old one.

137. Frigga was Loki's only parent who genuinely loved him therefore his last name is Friggason don't fight me i bite.

138. Wong's humour is underrated. Actually, Wong in general is underrated.

139. I kind of hope they bring Killmonger back but ONLY if they can provide a reason that works / makes sense.

140. Hope Van Dyne's a badass and I hope people appreciate her more following Quantumania.
