All- Unwillingly Babysitting

You aren't dreaming. I posted!

Merry Christmas and I love you all.

Anyway, here's a stunning chapter I've created. Um idk what else to say apart from that you hate children, this one isn't for you.

TW: A screaming bratty five-year-old child whose vocab range is better than mine

(guys there is a dirty storyline to the child being alone and if u aren't comfortable with that, don't read on. I'm sorry but I'm ovulating so y'all get what I write)

--

"And then my mum told me I couldn't watch anymore Peppa Pig, which annoyed me since"

Nick had tuned out by now. This five-year-old girl was yapping about her big life problems to Nick like he cared.

He didn't.

He just wanted to get on the plane and go back to Boston and be free from this five-year-old wearing a Dora shirt, leggings and her light-up shoes.

"That's so sad. Where are your parents" Nick said in the most baby voice he could. He wanted to know where his brothers were since they promised they would be back soon, but no, they were taking their precious time.

The little girl looked up at Nick, "I don't know"

Nick sighed, forcing a smile, "What did they last say to you?"

The little girl thought for a hard second, she swinged her legs on the chair, considering she couldn't touch the floor. "My dad was like" her voice went deep, mimicking her dad, "Me and your mother will be back, we are just going to go the bathroom. Sit right here" Shs then changed her voice back, "then they walked into the bathrooms with the wheelchair person sign on it and it has been like forever"ย

Nick nodded slowly, taking in all the information, "So they are in the same bathroom, hmm" Nick rubbed the girl's shoulder. The poor kid.

Chris finally came back, the little girl looking at Chris then Nick, and did a double take. "Why are you sitting and standing at the same time?" she questioned, confused about why two of the same person were looking at her.

"I'm his broth-" Chris was cut off by a screaming five-year-old.

"YOU'RE A FRAUD. STOP LYING" She yelled, starting to cry.

Chris and Nick looked at each otherย  concerned and confused. Why did a five-year-old know the word fraud and why was she losing her shit.

Matt then walked into the section, "They had to cancel the flight due to the-"

The five-year-old was now shrieking and causing everyone to stare at her. "THERE'S ANOTHER ONE" She pointed, screaming. She then went back to crying.

Matt just looked at the kid, mouth agape. "What the fuck" he muttered under his breath.

Clearly not quiet enough.

"HE SAID A BAD WORD. THE THREE-ONE SAID A BAD WORD" She was gonna lose a lung with how much she was crying and causing a scene.

"Did she just call me the three-one?" Matt questioned, creasing his eyebrows together. "Where are these kids parents," he asked Nick. Chris had kneeled to be eye-to-eye with the child.

Nick was about to pull out the candles and summon this girl's parents and send the entire family to Bali so at least they were on the other side of the globe. But instead he answered Matt's question, "They are in the bathroom together"

"Togather?"

"Togather alright" Nick confirmed.ย

Matt gagged and looked at Chris, who was failing to calm down the child.

"YOU ARE A FRAUD. GET AWAY FROM ME" She then softly slapped Chris in the forehead. "AWAY AWAY AWAY" she started swinging her legs to kick Chris away.

Chris backed away. "I think she was let loose from an asylum," he said to Matt, who was preoccupied looking for anyone who looked like parents.

"Yeah no for real, get airport security to find her parents or something," Matt asked, still looking around.

Chris nodded and went over to some workers. Nick went over to Matt, staying a safe distance away from the demon. "What time is the flight leaving again"

"Oh yeah, it got cancelled because of the blizzard meaning we are stuck here until tomorrow since the roads are all blocked" Matt informed Nick. Chris already knew since he was with him when they found out.

Nick was about to throw a tantrum bigger than the one the child was having. "Tell me you're lying right now"

Matt shaked his head.

"Fuck" He whispered, not wanting the young girl to hear him. She was finally starting to calm down and the last thing he wanted to do was agitate her. "So we have to sleep here? Next to the demon? When is the next flight?" Nick listed off questions like Matt was ChatGPT and could answer all of them in seconds.

"I don't wanna sleep here but I guess we might have to. Chris demanded the first flight out of here so I think we will be fine" Matt answered, no confidence in his voice whatsoever.

Nick sighed, "I'll be a little bit alright with that if the mistake over there goes away with her parents to a different terminal"

"Nick, you did not just call her a mistake," Matt said in disbelief. He was really hoping no one was overhearing their conversation at that moment.

"What about it? I'm not wrong. She and her light-up sneakers can trot off to a different terminal and give migraines to the people flying to Texas" Nick ranted, sick of it. He went over to Chris, who was trying to bribe the kid to shut up completely with a single nerd rock.

The kid knew she was being scammed.

Bad move Chris. Bad move.

--

Matt had his headphones so loud everyone in the entire airport could probably hear them. But he didn't care. He was being tortured like this, everyone can be tortured by the squeaky sound the headphones produce when you listen to them from the other side.

The little kid's parents hadn't been found and the airport management asked the triplets to keep watch of her since she had built trust with them.

Matt wanted to know what their definition of trust was because screaming and crying every time Chris and Matt went near her didn't sound like it.

And just to make matters worse it was so cold in the airport since the heating had stopped working. Meaning Matt was stuck shivering in his seat.

"Hey frosty, please stop shivering I can hear your bones rattling" Chris whispered, taking one ear off the headphones Matt was using.

Matt pushed his younger brother's face away, "Fuck off, I'm cold"

"Do not talk about being cold when I had to give my jacket to the error over there" Chris commented, glaring at the little girl, who was sound asleep.

"Did you not bring an extra one in your carry-on?"

"Matt, I didn't even know we were bringing carry-on till you were packing the car. So no. All I have in there is food" Chris cried out, quietly. He was not risking waking anyone. He had single handly caused the little girl to rip apart all ripable things in the waiting era while setting her off for giving her one nerd rock. He was done. He had caused enough drama for the day.

Nick walked over to his brothers, holding a McDonald's bag, and handed out chips, "Matt your lips are literally turning blue, are you cold?"

Matt stared at Nick, didn't even give a sarcastic comment back.

"Ooh the mattitude has taken a silent turn" Chris said, smirking, before plopping a chip in his mouth.

The three sat together, whispering among themselves as the airport went to sleep. The blizzard was still well and truly present.

"Are those chippys?" The little girl asked, coming out of thin air. Matt immediately put a bunch in his mouth, triyng to finish them as quickly as possible.

"They are adult chips. Only adults can have them" Chris bullshitted. He refused to share his chips with this random five-year-old who's parents had better things to do rather than look after her.

"Cut the crap, Jennifer, I know they are McDonald's chips and I want them" the girl's voice took a sharp turn. Matt wasn't going to admit it but he was a teeny bit scared of her.

Nick wanted to slash her throat but the airport didn't seem like an appropriate place to do that.

"Jennifer?' Chris questioned. Chris didn't know many things but he knew his name was not Jennifer. He was pretty sure anyway. Maybe he had been lied to his entire life.

"Isn't that your name?"

"My name is Chris"

"Then why did the funny one say your name is Jennifer?" The girl asked, having more questions than answers.

Chris turned to Nick, who was looking around the dark room. "Nicolas"

Nick turned his head, "Hi!"

"Did you tell this girl that my name is Jennifer?" Chris asked, smiling like a psychopath.

"I said your name was Christopher" Nick answered.

"No, you said Jennifer. I remember" The girl interjected. Matt was eating the fries out of the bottom of the bag and indulging in this drama.

Love Island USA could never compare to this.

The little girl wasn't convinced, "You said, Jennifer"

"No, I didn't" Nick said, hushing the little girl, hoping she would drop it and wouldn't wake up everyone with one of her tantrums. If she was gonna cry one more time, Nick's ears were gonna bleed out.

"YOU LIAR" she screamed, which was slightly uncalled for if you ask Nick. This girl would make a great actress.

The little girl was on a path of destruction while screaming liar so loud the moon people could hear it. She first attacked Matt, who was still eating the fries at the bottom of the bag. She grabbed the bag, pulling it away from Matt.

"Hey give that back" Matt reached for the bag.

"No"

"Please" Matt brought out the magic word, hoping it would bring the child to her senses.

"No"

Matt sighed in defeat, he was too tired for this, he wanted his bed. And a heater.

The airport management came over asking Nick to shut the girl up since they were getting complaints.

Nick was baffled. He wasn't even related to this child sent from Satan himself and she was his responsibility? He wasn't even getting paid for this.

He argued with management for a bit while the child targeted Chris's ankles since he tried to steal the McDonald's bag from the kid.ย

That's two down for the count, Nick now has to get his license since he's ankles were the last ones standing.

--

By the time the morning hit, the blizzard and calmed down and now the workers were clearing the runways.

The triplets had secured tickets onto the first place to Boston, not wanting to be late for Christmas. They wanted Christmas lunch and to see their friends and family.

"Nick, Jennifer" The little girl tugged at Nick and Chris's shirts, ingoring Matt completely. "I see my parents. They are right there!" She pointed, jumping up and down.

Nick sighed a breath of relief, the child leaving once and for all. He never wanted to see the thing again. "Go say hi to them!" he said, fake excitement possessing his voice.

The little girl ran off, running into her parent's arms. Chris turned to his brothers. "That better have been a social experiment and now we just earned a million dollars"

Spoiler alert. It wasn't.

--

"I dibs window seat" Matt said, climbing over the two chairs, Nick taking the middle and Chris taking the end.

The plane was quiet, all tired adults wanting to go home to Boston filling the seats.

Chris turned to look behind them, "Oh look, no one is sitting behind us" he exclaimed.

Chris turned to his phone for three seconds, paying full attention to the tiktok Nick had sent Chris.

He felt bumps against the back of his chair, "huh what the fuck" he said, whipping his head around to see who was kicking his seat. He wasn't a hundred percent sure ghosts could kick chairs.

"Hi!" Chris came face to face with the little girl, her parents sitting next to her.

Chris smiled and turned back to his brothers, mouthing, "we are fucked"

And they were.

For the plane ride anyways, who knew. Maybe that little girl and her parents were their new neighbours back at home.

Merry Christmas everyone!

--

Yeah this is the chapter. Not festive but nothing pisses me off more than bratty kids so I decided to share the Christmas cheer by pissing everyone off with a fictional little girl.

And tell me what y'all get for Christmas so I can say, "I should have put that on my list"

Love youuuu
