Maknae Line coffee

" Well I'm going out for coffee with Berly but she's already their !" Jungkook jumped up happily and Taehyung dragged a sitting Jimin up to his feet.

Sejin looked at them wryly. "Weren't you just complaining about how tired you were?"

The three merely gave him a peace sign and nearly sprinted out the door before they could be stopped.

"Don't worry! I have her number!" Jungkook assured right before they disappear from the practice room. Sejin stared on; when did that happen?

The remaining members sat on the floor, happy to have some type of break in between. Yoongi fell asleep again, lying flat on his back with Seokjin lightly playing with his hair, twisting the sweaty locks in odd shapes and biting back laughter.Hoseok took a seat by them .

It was the time after the morning rush did the three found Berly sitting in a corner alone, trays of caffeine and small paper bags resting on the table in front. There was soft music playing in the background and they recognized the popular songs of the latest artists from the radio. It felt like a tranquil scene when they noticed her unguarded eyes staring out the window, a distant look in her gaze with her hand prompted onto a cheek.

It was quiet and serene; the calming effect of the small coffee shop suits her well. They took all of that in for two seconds until—

"We're here for you, Princess!" Taehyung beamed radiantly, bringing nearly everyone's attention to the three boys that just arrived.

They saw her eyes widen in surprise (or was it panic) at the sight of them. Jungkook mirrored a bright smile and Jimin lowered his hat a little but the three approached her with a bounce in their step and she wondered if she was still dreaming.

They had a commanding presence to them wherever they go—it also did not help that Taehyung doesn't exactly have a quiet voice. Kimberly opened her mouth to speak but no words came out—not that they saw it anyways, but her brows were furrowed in confusion wondering why Jungkook brought his two members to meet her.

" I think I arrived early , JKookie brought two sunbaenim along" Kimberly stated

"We wanted to come," Taehyung explained

"Good morning, Kimberly ," Jimin greeted politely, his eyes forming into small crescent shape with his own breathtaking smile.

"Which one is mine?" Taehyung questioned and scanned the cups over, reading the abbreviated words on the side with a tilt of his head.

"Oh—um,"Kimberly glance the cups over, reaching over to pull out a blended drink for him. "I-I'm not sure if it is to your taste but I think you would like it ? I think Jimin sunbaenim prefers his coffee with a vanilla flavor and JKookie prefers tea"

She mumbled to herself, pulling out the warm drinks and handed it over to the three.

"I think Yoongi sunbaenim drinks iced coffee, no sugar or cream added. Jinnie and Hoseok sunbaenim prefers tea than coffee. Um and I think Namjoon sunbaenim would want to try this new drink... Sejinie doesn't like sweetener in his coffee"

They blinked at her owlishly, not realizing that she had taken care of the little details for them. For a small while, Jungkook noticed she was observant and a very detailed person and they come to realize that she cares about them But with her sunglasses off and eyes revealed, they noticed her almost shy appearance when listing the drinks out loud.

Jungkook grinned. "Wow! How did you guess all of that? I can barely remember what I order sometimes."

"You're incredible, Kimminie !" Taehyung complimented and she blinked at the new nickname given to her.

"Um...thank you?" She quickly brought the paper bags to their attention instead, avoiding the spotlight. "This is for you all too. I decided to add these in too with some bread..."

They dug through the bag happily, pulling out small sweet bread and munched on their breakfast. Taehyung took the seat across from her and Jungkook sat down next to her. Jimin counted the drinks silently, noticing one was missing and looked at Kimberly.

"What did you order, Kimmy?"

She ducked her head, playing with the edge of her sleeves. "I didn't order one. I don't drink coffee."

" you don't drink coffee and you made me set a date in a coffee shop " Jungkook stated which caused Kimberly to roll her eyes

"Ah, then do you prefer tea like Jin-hyung and Hoseok hyung?or you like hot chocolate?" Taehyung asked between bites and sipped his blended drink despite the chill outside. He smiled as the sugary drink melted within his mouth and continued with his breakfast.

Kimberly "surprise me " said before nodded her head and Jimin hummed. "Okay! I'll try to guess your drink then—wait here!"

Jimin ran off before Kimberly could stop him, her eyes wide on his retreating back. Jungkook stood up immediately.

"I want to try too!" He turned to her with another dazzling smile, "We'll be back!"

She could do nothing but blink rapidly at them, turning to Taehyung who still ate vigorously at the food and he let out a boxy smile once he swallowed.

"Don't worry about them. It's our way of saying 'thanks' for the coffee"

Her dark eyes widen just the slightest and Taehyung recognized the signs of tension with the way her shoulders tighten.

"I mean, it's not like we're ditching practice—but taking a walk away is quite refreshing—especially if it is to retrieve our Bora princess."Taehyung said

She turned her gaze downwards, disliking the uncomfortable skip of a beat within her heart at Taehyung's playful smile and glanced to the side.

Her attention was taken to the other two members at the cashier line, whispering hurriedly between the two and sneaking glances back at her. Once they realized she was staring at them, they quickly turned back to each other, going on about a little argument they seem to be having.

"Mm, I think you are," she turned back to stare at Taehyung. The sun casted a soft glow in his hair, creating a mix of pink and orange and Miran focused at how bright and glowing he looked even when he was stuffing his face with food. "Bora princess... Queen... badass Rapper? Is black your favorite color? We rarely see you wear anything besides it. Maybe you can borrow some clothes from Rapmon; he has a lot of colorful outfits."

She shook her head, unable to follow his train of thoughts and ignored the heat of her cheeks. Jimin and Jungkook returned with two warm drinks, setting it loudly on the table and leaned close to her.

"This one is cinnamon milk tea—"

"—and this is green tea with honey and mint added in. Which one do you prefer?"

Their eyes were all focused on her again and she resisted the urge to shrink away from their curious gaze. Kimberly glanced at the teas in front, her hands reaching out to grip them both.

"I don't mind either."

Jungkook and Jimin pouted. "But which one is your favorite?"

She blinked at them. "Neither...? I've never tried them before."

At their resolute gazes, she brought one of the drinks to her lips. She blew softly over the heat escaping the opening before tilting the cup and drank the watery tea with hint of honey and mint. Setting that one down, she repeated the process to drink the milk tea, tasting the sweet liquid with the enticing aroma.

The three were staring at her, waiting for her final answer and Kimberly could not help but feel shy with their attention. Even Taehyung was interested in her thoughts and stopped eating, his previous conversation briefly forgotten.

"The...green tea would be good if I want something calming and the cinnamon milk tea is nice on a cold day. Both are good?" She offered helplessly.

"Well, I guess we would have to keep trying until we figure it out," Jimin nodded to himself.

"Ah—the money for the drinks..."

Jungkook waved it off. "It's our treat!"

Kimberly frowned with the slight downturn of her lips, revealing her dissatisfaction . They could not help but stare at her face; studying her miniscule movements with her facial expression and hadn't realize how much attention they directed to her until she licked her lips . It wasn't that she was overly pretty—but she had a special shine about her, but the general mystery Kimberly always emitted was enough to arouse their curiosity.

"Thank you. I Have to head back?" She set the drinks back onto the cup holders and the boys took them with ease. It left her with nothing to hold when they all relieved her of her duty and she felt bashful leading them out of the café.

"Ya, Tae! You ate all the cinnamon rolls!" Jungkook noticed along the way, reaching into the bag to pull out another pastry.

Taehyung smiled innocently. "You two took too long."

Jimin shook his head, walking in step with Kimberly as Jungkook and Taehyung bickered in the back. "You secretly like the green tea more, right?"

She glanced at the curious boy, seeing a playful smile on his full lips. "You chose that one didn't you?"

He dipped his head in a subtle nod and the smile turned almost bashful for being found out so easily. Jimin still felt shy around the new girl group leader but knowing that she had been taking care of kookier put him at ease. She did not dislike them, he thought, Kimberly was just unique like Taehyung.

"It's nice." She answered with a wink and Jimin let it be, a bright smile clear on his face the whole time.
