"I THINK THE worst part about being stuck here is that I never got to finish The Walking Dead" Caroline told Kenny

"I'm pretty sure you're the only one here who is mad about that. 'I miss my family' 'my pets' 'my life' and then there's you. 'I didn't get to finish The Walking Dead'." Kenny teased making Caroline laugh

"See, but if I bring up The Umbrella Academy-" Caroline was cut off

"The Umbrella Academy is a masterpiece and I'm so pissed I may never get to see season 4" Kenny said making Caroline laugh. The duo entered the Diner to get some food for Boyd

"Oh, how's Sara?" Caroline asked. She had heard about Sara's seizure yesterday

"Kristi said she's doing okay" Kenny said as he grabbed some food for Boyd. The duo walked out and began heading towards the Sheriff's Station

"That's good. Sara is a sweetheart and it'd be hard if something happened to her" Caroline said

"Mom would have to do it all by herself then" Kenny giggled

"She definitely could" Caroline replied as they entered the police station

"Morning, Sheriff" Kenny said

"Howdy, Boyd" Caroline said. Boyd was staring at the map

"We stopped by the Diner, and my mom made some of those bread things that you like, so we picked up a couple of those" Kenny said, but Boyd didn't move from his spot. He didn't even turn to look at them. "Uh, Sheriff?"

"I'm gonna need you to hold down the fort for a bit" Boyd said

"Are you okay?" Caroline asked

"I'm fine. I'm gonna visit my wife" Boyd said before he got up from the chair. "It's been a while. Okay?"

Boyd looked at Caroline and Kenny and they both nodded

"Yeah, sure" Kenny said. Boyd then left the building. Kenny took a seat and opened the container holding the bread. "If he's not gonna eat it I will"

"You better share" Caroline said. Kenny grabbed one and tossed it to her. She caught it and put it in her mouth. "I feel like you and I would've been best friends if we'd met before this shitty place"

"Absolutely. I'd be the fun uncle" Kenny laughed

"You would've liked Randall.. I mean, he's an asshole but deep down he's a good guy.. God I miss him so much" Caroline said

"I feel you.. I mean not that I was married but.. I miss everyone back at home.. I was lucky to have my parents.." Kenny said

"I just.. The last time we talked we were fighting.. I was going to my parents house.. we fought and I left.. I was gonna come back.. I was always gonna come back.. what if he thinks I left him.. that I took our child and left him in the dust.." Caroline said

"Hey, don't think about that.. when you see him again you'll explain everything. He might think you're crazy, but you'll figure it out" Kenny said making Caroline smile

CAROLINE WAS walking up back towards Colony House. She was right by the farm when she noticed Sara and Ethan. There was something in Sara's hand. She took a closer look and realized it was a box cutter. Why did she have a box cutter?

"Where's my Mom? I want my Mom!" Ethan cried. Sara suddenly grabbed Ethan's wrist and Nathan came rushing over. Sara wrapped her arms around Ethan. Was Sara going to kill Ethan?

"Sara!" Nathan yelled catching the girl off guard. Ethan tried to run away but Sara had a firm grip on his wrist. "Sara, what are you doing?"

"This is how we go home" Sara cried. Caroline slowly began approaching behind Nathan

"Let him go" Nathan said

"They told me, this was the last one, then everyone gets to go home!" Sara sobbed as Ethan cried out for his Mom. Caroline couldn't make any sudden moves. Sara could kill Ethan if she did. Ethan kicked Sara causing her to let go. Ethan immediately ran away

"Ethan, run!" Nathan yelled as he rushed over to stop his sister. Caroline ran after Ethan before wrapping her arms around him

"You're okay.." She said. Nathan wrapped his arms around his sister and held her there

"No! Let me go! You don't understand!" Sara cried out as she broke free. She swung her arm with the box cutter and accidentally sliced Nathan's neck open. Sara gasped. Blood ran down his neck. "Nathan?"

Caroline let go of Ethan and rushed over to Nathan. She took off her jacket and immediately pressed it to Nathan's wound

"Fuck! I need help! Shit!" Caroline screamed. Sara just stood there horrified. Caroline gently helped Nathan to the ground as she kept applying pressure. Her jacket became red from the blood. "You're okay! You're gonna be okay! Keep your eyes open.. I need you to keep your eyes open! Nathan!"

Caroline watched as Nathan became unresponsive. He went limp. Sara was sobbing her brother's name and Father Khatri approached. Caroline checked for a pulse but found none. Caroline removed her jacket as she sat back. Blood covering her hands

"Fuck!" She screamed as tears streamed down her face. People just kept dying. She couldn't save him. Eventually people crowded around but Ethan and Sara were gone by that point and so was Father Khatri. Kristi ran over and Caroline shook her head affirming to everyone that he was dead

CAROLINE WAS AT the Diner drinking tea. Her hands still bloody from Nathan. How much more of this could she take? How long until that was her? Or even RJ? She couldn't imagine how she'd live if RJ died. She probably wouldn't. Boyd entered the Diner and took a seat in front of her

"He died.. I should've been able to save him" Caroline said

"There was nothing you could've done" Boyd said

"I trusted.. Sara, you know? I.. I left her with my child.. and she tried to kill someone else's. What if that had been my baby? I just.. I watched her cut his neck.. I could've been faster. I should've been.. I-" Caroline cut herself off as she cried

"None of this is your fault" Boyd said

"The constant death.. how much longer are we supposed to put up with this?" Caroline cried

"I don't know.. but we are gonna get through this. I know you will, because Caroline..?" Boyd began as he grabbed her bloody hands and put them in his. "You are one of the toughest son of a bitches I know. You are surviving with a baby on your hip. You came here with a one month old.. and you managed to get through that.. You're gonna be okay, because nothing is harder than what you've already done"

I HATE HOW SHORT THESE CHAPTERS ARE BUT I DO THEM BY EPISODE AND CAROLINE DOESN'T FIT IN A LOT OF THE SCENES RAHHHH
