Isha was growing impatient seeing everyone quiet as Ajay, Shashi and Mohan looked confused especially Mohan who was more concerned than confused seeing Lavanya almost of the verge of tears.

"Will someone tell me what's going on and you two how do you know her? " Isha exclaimed in an angry tone glaring at Khushi and Payal who looked nervous.

"I will tell you who she is and how I, Aman, Khushi and Payal knows her. " Arnav responded and Khushi and Payal shook their heads but Arnav smiled and nodded. " Lavanya was my ex-girlfriend whom I was once engaged to and Khushi had trained. "

Everyone looked shocked and Isha glared at Arnav clearly pissed by this new information.

"Did you cheat on her with Khushi? " Isha asked.

"Maa." Payal yelled and that was when Isha came to her senses realizing what she had done especially seeing the hurt on Khushi and Arnav 's face and she bowed her head in shame and regret.

"I will never stoop that low....... Yes I once tried to kiss Khushi during the time I was with Lavanya but I never cheated on Lavanya. " Arnav said and Mohan glared st him angry.

"Do we look stupid to you?...... You were with Lavanya and yet you nearly kissed Khushi....... You do know there is something called emotional cheating and I bet you were attracted to Khushi while you were with Lavanya...... So technically, you still cheated even if it's not physically. " Mohan chided glaring at Arnav.

"You are absolutely right but you are also wrong...... It would have been cheating if my relationship with Lavanya was real....... You see my family were nagging and pressuring me to get married which I didn't want to so to get them off my back, I entered a fake relationship with Lavanya were I paid her a crore every month and gave her unlimited access to all our boutiques which she raked in crores a month on clothes and jewelry for herself and friends. "

"Lavanya? Is that true? " Mohan asked staring at Lavanya who nodded unable to look at him.

Mohan looked at Arnav in regret and let go off Lavanya and walked up to him.

"Bhai am sorry......  We didn't mean it. " Mohan apologized and Arnav shook his head smiling.

He moved closer to Khushi to apologize but she lifted her hand stopping him, turned and walked up to the dinning table, picked up her phone and walked away.

Payal threw a disappointed look at her mother and brother and a disgusted one at Lavanya and followed Khushi.

Arnav followed to calm an upset Khushi down leaving the rest alone.

Lavanya walked up to Mohan and Isha and folded her hand with tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Am sorry if my presence caused tension...... I think it's better if I leave. "

"No please don't........ I am at fault...... Don't worry Arnav bhai is a magician and he will definitely calm Khushi and Payal down....... Come with me let me show you your room. " Mohan assured Lavanya and turned to his mother who nodded.

Mohan dragged Lavanya away and Lavanya got a glimpse of the look of disgust on Aman's face and she felt nervous.

This exchange didn't go unnoticed by Isha who was beginning to suspect Lavanya.

"This girl is trouble...... She just showed up and already the family is falling apart........ This was not what I intended to happen on this vacation...... All I wanted was a stress free vacation for all of us to bind and get to know each other better....... God forgive me for doubting Arnav and I have to apologize to him. " Isha thought and she felt her hand holding hers.

She stared down and saw her husband with a look of worry on his face and she smiled and kneeled to her level.

"Don't worry...... I will make everything right. "

Ajay smiled at his wife and nodded.

Lavanya's Room.

Lavanya was pacing back and forth sweating in the cool room.

She never thought she would meet Arnav here left alone discover his friendly relationship with Mohan but most shocking was the revelation from Mohan that Khushi and Payal were the daughters of Isha Kundra and that Mohan was abopted by Isha at the age of ten.

"This wasn't the way it was supposed to be....... Mohan was supposed to the only son of Isha Kundra and I was supposed to be his wife and be the daughter Isha never had and use that power to destroy ASR and Khushi........ I was so happy hearing Mohan call Isha his mother at the London fashion show a year ago and I trapped him in my fake love but now am stuck with a fraud, an orphan whom Isha took pity on....... If I knew he was adopted, I wouldn't have agreed to be in a relationship with him but now I can't go back...... I have to make good use of him while I can and be in Isha's good books...... Mohan promised to tell me more but for now, I have to lure Khushi to be my friend again and I just hope Arnav hadn't told her about our meeting that day. " Lavanya whispered feeling nervous and a ring of his door bell broke her reverie.

She composed herself and opened the door to find Mohan holding a tray filled with food and she flashed him her most charming smile moving out of the way and letting Mohan in.

He placed the tray on the centre table and dragged Lavanya to the bed as they sat down and he held her hand.

"No one is disappointed by the revelation if that's the reason you looked so pale and nervous. " Mohan assured Lavanya who smiled and hugged him.

She rolled her eyes while Mohan smiled tightening the hug.

After a few seconds, she broke the hug disgusted but she didn't show it and pretended to feel shy which an innocent Mohan looked and pecked her lip.

He stood up and left not before telling her to eat up and rest and promising to tell her everything the next day.

Lavanya smiled at him until the door closed and she rolled her eyes and fell on the bed thinking of her next move.

Isha walked up to the beautiful deck of the mansion facing the blue ocean and saw Arnav hugging Khushi by the waist as they stared up at the night sky lit with stars.

"Khushi, are you still angry at Maa?" Arnav asked out of the blue and Khushi nodded not taking her eyes off the night sky. "Khushi as much as I was hurt by her question, it was necessary. " Khushi pulled away and turned to Arnav about to retort but Arnav beat her to it and shushing her. "Khushi, maa maybe cordial with me but you don't expect her to just trust me overnight especially me being the son of the man who hurt her and separated her from her children and family...... It took three months after we split up for you to fully forgive me and trust me again...... Don't think am saying this because I don't understand you..... I do understand you Khushi but trusting takes time....... I was scared to trust again and in that process I hurt you so much....... It's not easy to trust if the wounds are still fresh or lingering....... I know you want everything to be perfect but perfection takes time...... Promise me you will stop being angry at Maa. "

"I promise. " Khushi whispered smiling and hugged Arnav who also reciprocated.

Isha who had tears of joy seeing Arnav call her Maa as she silently backed away but stop and smiled as she watched Arnav picked Khushi up with her giggling uncontrollably and Arnav walked towards their room.

"I wronged you so much Arnav...... But I promise to make it up to you my son. " Isha thought as she walked to her room.

She saw her husband sleeping soundly and smiled as she crawled onto the bed and slept by him with her head on his chest and Ajay smiled in his sleep feeling his wife's presence.

Unknown to the trio, Lavanya who had come out for some fresh air saw the entire exchange and had stormed into her room fuming especially after hearing Isha call Arnav son since she was closer to her.

Next Day.

Lavanya was getting ready to go down for breakfast in order to impress the family especially Khushi and Payal since she knew her fate of being the daughter in law of the family lies in their hands and she come to this conclusion because, last night, she had called Mohan to her room and forced him to reveal everything and she was stunned hearing everything that had happened since she left India to London nearly two years ago.

She knew then that one least mistake and she would be out of Mohan's life as he spoke very highly of Khushi and Payal and this is a clear indication that Mohan held their opinion in high regards and had a huge influence on him.

The ring of her doorbell broke her reverie and she walked to the door with a smile of her face thinking it was Mohan.

The smile on her face dropped when she saw Khushi and Payal standing there.

They walked past her before she could even allow them in and this pissed Lavanya off but she composed herself as she osed the door and turned to face them with a tight lipped smile at the poker face sisters.

"Hi." lavanya exclaimed nervously but got a blank stare from the sisters who was staring her up and down making her uncomfortable and nervous.

"Mohan may not be our blood but to us he is more than that. " Payal started as she stood up from the bed and walked up to Lavanya who gulped the lump of saliva which has suddenly accumulated in her throat. "He is not a rebound to anyone especially your kind and we won't allow you hurt him....... As you already know, he is a Kundra and we are all very protective of him so hurt him, not even the CIA, FBI and all the intelligence agencies in the world won't be able to save you from us."

"We know he loves you but we know he is just your rebound and you better end you relationship with him now before he becomes way too invested. " Khushi said sternly staring at a stunned Lavanya.

"I love Mohan and I will never hurt him and neither is he my rebound." Lavanya argued angrily.

Payal and Khushi laughed as a taken aback Lavanya stared at them.

"If you really love him and he is not your rebound then explain this. " Payal said as she pulled out her phone and played the video of Lavanya's visit to ARD and his meeting with Arnav.

Lavanya looked pale and snapped her head back to them in shock.

"Go ahead and deny this is not proof that our brother is just a rebound to you and you have already known all along who he was to us and you are just using him to get closer to Arnav. " Payal yelled making Lavanya flinch as Khushi placed her hand on her shoulder to calm her down.

Payal had called Khushi in the middle of the night to the patio far away from the mansion and she was supprised and confused seeing Aman and Payal together when she arrived.

That was when Aman had revealed what happened at the office to them including the video.

They were stunned Lavanya could go behind Mohan and try to get her ex back and insult his wife but were happy to Arnav defending khushi but Khushi was pissed Arnav never told him about it but somehow Aman managed to make her forgive Arnav.

They concluded Lavanya was not really in love with Mohan because she clearly looked like she was obsessed with Arnav just by her words.

"Arnav is mine and no one will take him away from me that includes you...... If am capable of choosing him over my mother then do you think I will let a two faced witch like you take him from me..... I don't think so. "

Lavanya looked petrified seeing the deranged look in Khushi's eyes as she spoke and Payal smirked seeing her sister mark her territory.

"I swear...... I.... I.... Love Mohan...... I just wanted closure that all. " Lavanya stammered almost on the verge of tears as the sisters rolled their eyes at her lie.

"Oh really. " Payal exclaimed sarcastically as she moved closer to Lavanya who nodded.

Payal burst out laughing but stopped after a few seconds and glared at Lavanya.

"Closure is you accepting he has moved on....... We know you are lying because  how can you want closure from a fake relationship huh. " Khushi snapped her fingers at Lavanya. "We will give you the benefit of a doubt but I will be watching your every move....... Watch Out Lavanya Kashyap. "

Payal grabbed her arms and pulled away from door.

Lavanya moved like a robot to her bed and sat down hyperventilating.

"How dare you two?....... I will male you pay dearly for this...... I finally found your weakness and that Mohan...... I will make sure to turn him against you two and watch with pleasure how miserable you will all be. " Lavanya cried out pinching her arms unbothered by the pain or how red her skin looked.
