Good morning world! This is Rose for Elle USA and joining us today is the amazing and wonderful gucci designer. Please say hi to Luna Addison! Hello Luna, how are you doing this morning?

Luna:

Hello! I'm feeling great, How about you?

➳Elle:

I'm really great, thank you! So Luna, you're currently in Barcelona, Spain, am I right? How are you enjoying it?

Luna:

Yes, I'm in Spain right now. I've never been to Spain before and it's a beautiful country. The morning are so beautiful. Everything looks just so aesthetic and delicate. I can't believe I've never been here, Spain inspires me honestly.

➳Elle:

Speaking of inspirations. So, your fans and clients are dying to know what your future in gucci is going to be. Now you're a big designer in the field, working alongside Alessandro Michele. Are you going to get higher, maybe the creative director place?

Luna:

Um..to be honest, I have been so busy these days and now I even forget I have a job. But I've been thinking of some ideas and hopefully by fall, I'd be able to release some stuff yeah.

➳Elle: 

I honestly can't wait, I love your designs

Luna: 

Oh thank you so much, means a lot to me

➳Elle: 

So what about the creative director position? Do you think you have a chance of getting that high?

Luna: 

Uhm, well I haven't thought about it. I think its something that comes with time you know. Being a creative director of a fashion house is a lot of work. There's a lot of responsibilities that comes with the position. And it needs a lot of talent. So when the time comes, if your talent is enough and they decide you're ready, you'll most probably get the position. I have no say in that.

➳Elle: 

Personally, I can't wait to see you get a creative director position. So speaking of fashion, your fans are eager to know if you're going to release a clothing chain of yourself.

Luna: 

I'm not going to beat around the bush and lie to you. No. I haven't even thought about starting a clothing chain myself. At least not anytime soon.  I don't see it happening for...well lets say...a couple of years

➳Elle: 

Well that was unexpected, may I ask why?

Luna: 

You see, like I said before, every position comes with responsibilities and talent. And I don't see myself starting a clothing chain because I feel like I am not ready to do it yet. I'm still young and even I'm still learning about fashion. So as time goes by, we'll see. But I don't think I'm ready or strong enough to stand on my own feet yet. But sometimes in the future, sometimes in the future.

➳Elle: 

Well I'm holding you to that Ms. Addison. Now speaking of this, you're in the guest list of the met gala this time as well. How are you feeling, excited?

Luna: 

Oh yes! Definitely. I love the met gala. There's just something about the hype that comes with it you know. When we near the event, everyone has this goofy smile on their face as they work. And we all just look forward to when the whole outfits come together. Met Gala means we're busy in the house. But it's a good kind of busy. There's this thing about watching people in different kind of outfits. For me, the met gala is a place where I get inspired. When people show up wearing different brands, designers made by different designers. I see Met Gala as a place where people can outshine their inner self. Like...they can show who they truly are because in the Met Gala, there's no barrier. Fashion is appreciated at a higher level.

➳Elle:

That's beautiful. This years them is Heavenly Bodies. What can you say about the theme?

Luna:

Heavenly bodies is basically appreciating clothes based on the catholic and Christian backgrounds. I think it's a great theme honestly. Like it'd be so beautiful to see everyone in different kind of outfits, capes and big hair accessories.

➳Elle:

Now I think about it, I'm getting excited. So how's your preparation for Met Gala going?

Luna:

Well it's going alright. It's more different than last years since I'm on the other side of the world. But I'm happy to say that I started working months ago so I think I have time to finish everything up.

➳Elle:

Rumors say that you and Alessandro Michele are pairing up to dress two A-list celebrities and that you are to attend the party as a designer-muse pair. True or false?

Luna:

I don't see this doing any harm so yes, Michele and I am pairing up together this time. And no Rose I am not going to tell you who our muses are.

➳Elle:

Dang, I needed to know. So anywho, right now you're on Tour with Harry Styles. How is the whole tour going?

Luna: 

Oh it's just amazing. I got to see a lot of places and I get to go to like a lot of countries. It's been great on tour. Everyone here is just sweet and beautiful. They welcomed me really warmly. You know I've never been on a whole tour before this one is a first. And so far I'm enjoying it. You can say I'm having the time of my life. Well except waking up at three in the morning, that's not appreciated.

➳Elle: 

Was waking up in general ever beautiful?

Luna: 

Says the one who invited me to an interview at eight in the morning

➳Elle: 

Hey now! So talking about Tour, we all know you have gotten closer to Mr. Styles. What can you say about Harry, what are your thoughts on him?

Luna: 

Well I can say that he's the most kindest soul I've ever met in my life. He's just amazing. Let me tell you something. So when I was to meet his crew for the first time, I was so scared. You know it's natural when you're going to meet a bunch of new people. So Harry sensed this and he was like, he led me to a corner and gave me a pep talk about how everyone wonderful everyone is and that I don't have to be scared to meet them. He's that kind of guy, really sweet and charming, always making sure that people around him are comfortable, not overwhelmed. Overall, he's a beautiful person.

➳Elle: 

That's so sweet of him. And the interview is almost wrapped up. Lastly, how was the process of making outfits for a live concert with almost ninety shows two legs.

Luna: 

I wouldn't say it was the easiest thing. I definitely felt a lot overwhelmed because I've never done this before. And I was told that I'm going to affiliate with some other brands and that scared me to death because I haven't done that in a long time. The tour consist of like eighty nine shows and that thought alone scared me. But I had help. Everyone around me helped me with the process. There were times Harry himself would come and sit at my studio and try to calm me down. Then Lou Teasdale, I want to thank her for showing me the ropes of working while on tour. It was hard at first because I felt like everything needs to be perfect for the shows. Like his fans are relying on me and I should make Harry look beautiful. And by the time I learnt how to cope and yeah, now it's better.

➳Elle: 

I'm glad to hear that. So that was sadly the last question I had for you and it's time to wrap things up. Thank you so much for joining me
