NEA HEINONEN
"I'm so afraid I sealed my fate, no sign of soulmates. I'm just a paperweight in shades of greige."
"NO ONE KNOWS where she is, do they?"
"No, that would be correct, Cameron. The camera footage was deleted and no one found anything that could be pointed towards her disappearance. It's like she disappeared into thin air."
"Well, Elaine, that's exactly what people like her were trained to do. She did it so perfectly, also. That just leaves us with the most important question... Why is she here and what exactly is it that she's capable of?"
"Cameron, I honestly have no idea... We would like to inform everyone watching that a very dangerous spy is on loose and although the police is trying everything in their power to stop her, we have to admit that she's one of the best ones and a master at leaving no traces behind-"
"I hate to interrupt a lady who's talking but that's not entirely true. Every time she kills someone or steals, she leaves a gray rock behind, which we all know the meaning of, right? The gray colour symbolizes the feeling of indifference and neutrality, while the rocks, according to this paper they gave us and the internet, of course, stands for struggles to overcome and some perspectives that need to be changed. That just proves how well thought-of and dangerous she is. So, we would like to warn everyone that if anyone sees this woman, report it to the local police station, if-"
"Shut up!" Nea shouted as she turned off the TV with a loud click. "I can't believe they already found me, this has never happened before... Am I getting bad?" She sighed as she rubbed the bridge of her nose and sat down on the couch in front of the TV. "No, that can't be... I'm trained to be the best. But still... I have a really bad feeling about this mission..."
Ever since she came to New York all the way from Helsinki, she had a bad feeling about this entire mission which was weird even to her because she never felt nervous or anything negative before, she trusted her abilities enough and was confident enough to know that she is a master at lying even if she gets caught and she was always organised, never left out the tiniest amount of detail from her plans. That being because she was always informed of the mission beforehand and had at least three days to come up with a decent plan. But not this time. Two days ago she was called into the agency and was told that it was urgent. And now she's here.
"Okay, let's go over the plan once more..." She whispered to herself as she took out a crumpled up piece of paper and read it. She has read it a thousand times before, each time adding another detail to it in hopes of it working. She read it out to herself so she could memorise it and then, if she knows her plan step by step, maybe then this strange feeling would go away.ย

It was 2 am, she was dressed and all ready to go but the feeling not only did not disappear, it got even stronger and that frustrated Nea greatly. "Ugh... Come on... -What is wrong with me? This isn't even a dangerous mission, nothing will happen!" She grumbled in annoyance but no miracle came and she was still very much anxious. That's right, the best spy of her age was anxious.
She stepped out of her apartment and before she closed the door, she looked back in to check if she left something there that would expose her in the future in any way. When she made sure that everything was the way they were supposed to be, she shut the door and closed it. Nea turned around and left the building. She considered calling a taxi but barely even two seconds after that thought formed in her head, she reminded herself why she's here. Not to mention the fact that the whole city was full of her face with a big red "WANTED" sign below it.
She took a deep breath and put on her hoodie to hide her long blonde hair with. She made her way to the building she was assigned to be in at exactly 3 am because that's where "The Big Deal" was happening. That codename standing for the drugs the people there were trying to sell to kids. Not a big deal... at least not to Nea.
When she arrived, she took off her backpack and looked around for any potential danger and when she saw nothing, she crouched down and took out her guns and binoculars and waited.

She waited. Nothing. At this point, she suspected that she was in the wrong place and quickly checked the papers she got that contained all the information about the mission. She was in the right place. Then why does she feel like she's not supposed to be there? She heard a tiny voice in the back of her mind screaming something amongst the lines of "Get out of there!" and "Now! This doesn't feel right!".
She was getting anxious again and it angered her to no end. "What is going on...?" She whispered to herself angrily. That's when she heard a man's voice behind her.
"Looking for something, girl?" He spat and Nea spun around in a second and glared at the man, who just looked down at her with a knowing smirk which made Nea's heart drop. 'Something's off...' Nea thought as she discreetly looked around for a way to escape in case this encounter ends badly.
"What do you want?" She asked the man with an eyeroll as she tried her best to mask her nervousness.
"You're not supposed to be here... girl." The way he said 'girl' made Nea want to strangle him right then and there. But instead she just sighed and raised her eyebrows as she looked up to him. "I asked you a question. Answer."
The man laughed and looked right into Nea's eyes as he answered. "You." Then he pulled out his gun and aimed it right at Nea's chest. Nea didn't even have any time to react.
A big bang! could be heard as the gun was fired, hitting Nea square in the chest. "Vituttua..." She hissed as she tried to put pressure on the wound. "That motherfucker really shot me..." She tried to take a deep breath to calm herself down. She looked up to see the man flee from the scene. She picked up her gun and tried to shoot him to no avail.
"Vittua!" She shouted and threw the gun away as she looked down at the blood on her hands. She lied down on the floor and that's when it finally hit her... It was a trap. They sent her here just to kill her off. She laughed at her own stupidity. No one was there to help her and even if there were people who heard the gunshots, as soon as they would've got in to help, they'd recognise her instantly and either call the police or just watch as she bleeds out.
She looked around and as the darkness slowly consumed her and her pain faded away, she thought of the people in her life. No one was waiting for her. Her parents died when she was eleven, she didn't have a boyfriend -not that she wanted one, she didn't have any living relatives and no friends. She always told herself she was fine like that, that she didn't want or need anyone anyway because of her job but deep down she missed receiving loving glances, hugs and kind words.
As she took one last shaky breath in, she closed her eyes and let the one tear fall from her eye.

Disclaimer;
My Finnish friend said "Fins don't die" when I asked her what do Finnish people say when they're hurting and she also said "Nothing. She gets up and goes to the nearest supermarket and buy vodka" and I just thought you all needed to read this.
