Chapter Thirty-Eight.

Everything in my life felt perfect. Almost a year ago, I was alone. Focused on my career and getting annoyed at everyone who wanted me to date. But then I met her. And she made my life complete.

I lean my head up to see Marina snuggling against my body, enjoying the feeling of our warmth together in the massive bed. Her head was on my chest while my hand was on her belly, rubbing it as she slept. Our bodies were facing one another as I watched her. One thing I loved was to wake up and see her sleeping.

Her face was relaxed, emotionless and her lips...God those plump, smooth lips. They were sweet like honey and every ounce of my body enjoyed each time I get to kiss them. Her caramel skin glimmered with the sun rays that sneaked through the curtains.

She slowly squirmed as I smile to myself. I was completely mesmerized by her natural beauty. I love every flaw she had because she was flawless to me. Her imperfections was nonexistent, even if she complains about her body, I don't see what she sees. I lean down and kisses her cheek multiple time, causing her to slowly flutter her eyelashes as she woke up. She whispers, "Michael?" My hand continued to rub her belly, "The one and only."

Her eyes were on mine as she smiles widely at me, giggling softly, "Good. Because that's who I want to be with right now." I lean over and peck her lips before whispering, "I think the baby is kicking a little." She looks down at my hand, setting hers on mine as I felt something.

Was it the baby?

She gasps as she feels what I felt, "Michael I think it is the baby!" I giggle softly before I start singing, 'Blame It on the Boogie,' to the baby. Marina couldn't help roll her eyes as I sung, which led to more punches and kicks in her belly. She laughs, "Michael! You got the baby dancing in there!" I look up at Marina. She was so happy, so ecstatic about the baby. Her smile disappears as she stares back at me, "Did I do something wrong?"

"No...no, I just can't wait until we hold our baby in our arms. You know, you're going to make a wonderful mother."

She blinks at me slowly while smiling, "Oh, you sap. You know you're going to be an extraordinary father. The baby is just going to love you." Her hands cup my face as she smothers my face with her sweet kisses.

"Marina! Marina! You're just like my mother!"

She looks at me while sticking her tongue out at me playfully. Goofy girl I got. I smile back at her before sticking my tongue out at her as well which made her scrunch her face up. I frown a bit while smiling, "What?" She pokes my cheek, "Nothing, I'm just messing with you, you're so cute." I sit up in the bed, pulling her up with me, "You know you're the real cutie pie, Marina. I really want to take you out, maybe to Disneyland?" She rubs her eyes as she slowly gets out the bed, "You don't want to work in the studio today?"

I shake my head while sliding some clothes on, "I do, but I'm really ahead on my work, and I just want to...spend time with you." She walks over to me while whispering, "But baby we spent all night together..." I bite my lip, looking at her as my mind went back to last night, "I know. It was definitely worth it though." She nods as I lift her into my arms.

"Holy crap, Michael I'm so heavy! Put me down you're going to hurt yourself!"

I grin mischievously, "You didn't say that last night!" Her cheeks flush bright red as I set her back down.

"See you're the reason why I'm pregnant right now!"

I couldn't help but laugh as I grab some clothes for her and helped her slide them on. Marina loved to wear my shirts. Though, it was really sexy to see my own fiancée wearing my clothes anyways. I kneel down to slide on some tennis shoes on her feet while tying them. She looks down at me, "I feel like Cinderella." I raise an eyebrow at her as I tie the laces together, "Well, these shoes are surely the perfect fit."

"Just like you're the perfect fit for me?"

I look back up at her, completely speechless before answering back, "I hope I am." She bites her lip as I finish tying her shoes before I stood up to help her. Marina was five months into her pregnancy, and she was really handling everything well. Maybe because she was a doctor, but we decided to keep the gender of the baby a surprise until she actually has the baby, but my curiosity wanted to know now. Of course, we made a bet of $50 to see what the baby will be. I think it will be a girl, while she thinks it will be a boy.

I look at her while holding her hand as I help her downstairs to the kitchen. I hand her a banana, and she looks at it, "Yuck." I frown, "You love bananas." She folds her arms, "Baby doesn't like it."

"Cereal?"
"No."
"Muffins?"
"No."
"Yogurt?"
"No."
"Air?!"
"No."

I squint at her while she laughs, "Kidding, honey. How you give me a granola bar." I sigh before walking to the cabinet and getting her a granola bar, and she takes one bite from it and spits it out. I groan, "What the heck does this baby like?!" She frowns, "Nothing." It was always frustrating how nitpicky this baby was. One day it likes everything, next day it hates all food.

I scratch the back of my neck as she hugs me, "Don't worry, how about we go on to the petting zoo? I really want to see the animals!" I giggle softly at her excitement while nodding as we walk out to the backyard to the newly installed petting zoo. Our hands were interlocked together as we walk over to Bubbles' playpen as I open it, allowing him to be free.

He jumps into my arms, causing me to fall into the grass laughing as Marina coos, "Awh, look at you two!"

I chuckle while looking at him, "Hey buddy, such a good boy. I miss you?" He looks at me while playing with his hands. Marina sits in the grass as Bubbles hop out of my arms and walks over to her. She smiles, "Hey Bubbles. Aren't you the most adorable thing ever?" She kisses her cheek as I scowl, "Bubbles, it's not nice to steal my girl!" Marina laughs while holding Bubbles in her arms like a baby.

I playfully gasp while resting my hand on my chest, "Am I being replaced?" Marina couldn't stop laughing at me and my jokes, "Maybe me and Bubbles might actually be a cute couple together! Right honey?" Bubbles yawns in her arms as he snuggles against her breasts. I bet he knew what he was doing as my blood boiled. I growl, "Alright now! That's enough snuggling for you!" I quickly pull Bubbles out of her arms as I hold him. He whimpers while struggling out of my grasp and hops back into her arms.

"Awh! Michael was being a big meanie to you? You're so cute, gosh I see why Michael is so jealous of such a sweet innocent chimp."

She kisses his nose while I squint at Bubbles, "Marina don't encourage him!" She snaps at me, "Mm, stop being so envious! You're just so mad at how precious this little sweet thing is." Bubbles hugs her tightly while snuggling against her while I growl under my breath. I should be the only one snuggling like that with Marina. Eventually, she walks him back over to his playpen and sets him down before blowing him a kiss, "I love you, Bubbles! I can't wait to visit you again."

I follow behind her, mocking her voice as she scoffs, "You're so jealous of a chimpanzee!" I gasp, "He was snuggling in your breasts!" She rolls her eyes while biting my lip, "He was trying to steal you from me!" She turns from me while laughing, "You're so silly, Michael. Next you're going to say Louie and Muscles are going to steal me?"

My eyes widen as I walk with her, "They might!" She couldn't help but continue to laugh as I run in front of her and lifts her in my arms, causing her to squeal. Her legs wrap around my waist as I whisper, "No one is stealing you from me." She squints, "No one will, Mr. Possessive. Now put me down before I go off and marry Bubbles."
