AS THEY ARRIVE IN TEXAS, Victoria felt like her whole body was both tired and ready for the day ahead. It didnt help that being in a firetruck for so many hours wasn't exactly comfortable. Even with her trying to use Eddie as a pillow. Didn't exactly work out for her. "So, when are you guys planning on telling everyone?" Hen asks them curiously. Not her first question of the trip and definitely wouldn't be her last.
They had convinced her to at least give them a few hours of peace. It didnt help that Buck had completely passed out the moment they started driving, leaving Eddie and Victoria to answer them all. "We haven't really picked a day." Eddie admits as he rubs his face a bit.
"Well, we're hanging at Chim's on friday." Hen points out, flickering her eyes between them. "Unless that's too soon?" She asks them and Eddie didn't answer straight away, more looking toward Victoria.
"No, its time." She admits, placing her hand in top of eddies who smiles back at her.
"Yeah, before your scar someone else." Hen mumbles and Victoria slowly looks back at hen, giving a false smile now.
"Ha ha." Victoria laughs sarcastically. "Ive seen you doing a lot worse." She points out as they finally come to a stop. Hen, in order to not talk more about it, only turns to Buck.
"Buck." Hen says, shoving the man a bit who was leant up against the window. "Wake up, we're here." She tells him as he comes back to the land of the living, rubbing his mouth.
"Oh, we are?"
"Yeah, some of us weren't so lucky as to sleep the whole way." Eddie complains, barely having had even an hour the whole way there.
"Buck can sleep through earthquakes." Victoria states and Hen rolls her eyes.
"Okay, you dont have to use the cliche metaphor."
"No, hes literally spelt through an earthquake. Came down the stairs and wondered why i was half holding his bookcase up." Victoria tells them and Buck turned a bit red as he remembered it. It was back when he still had his loft and it was one of the first times she had stayed over. Safe to say she scolded him right after.
"You dont nail your stuff to the wall?" Eddie asks, furrowing his eyebrows.
"He doesnt even read." Victoria adds with a small snort and Buck nudges her arm.
"Hey." He says, a bit annoyed but she only smirks as they all get out of the truck. "Ooh, what's up with the air?" Buck asks, groaning a bit as he immediately got hit with a wave.
"Wildfire, remember? That's why we're here." Hen says bluntly, pointing out the obvious.
"I mean the way it feels. Like getting slapped with a wet towel."
"It's called humidity. Welcome to Texas, Buck." Eddie tells him and Buck seemed a bit confused but didn't question it anymore.
"You would not do well with Chicago winters." Victoria denies, shaking her head. It took her years to finally adapt to it fully if she was being honest.
"Which is exactly why when we visit, we're not going during the winter season." Buck retorts with a cheeky smile, wrapping his arms around her waist. Victoria rolls her eyes playfully but smiles back at him. He presses a kiss to her forehead before they head to meet up with the rest of the firehouses.

"IM DEPUTY CHIEF DE LEON OF THE SAN ANGELO FIRE DEPARTMENT, acting incident commander." He announces as the 118 stood among the other fire companies. "For those of you just joining the party, welcome." The chief tells them as Victoria finishes putting her hair up and out of her face.
"Buck, stop staring." Hen says causing victoria to glance at them, only to see Buck was in fact staring at someone not too far from them.
"I'm not staring." He denies and Eddie only snorts, shaking his head.
"You're staring."
"He always stares. He once stared at a woman for twenty minutes because he was convinced she was shania twain." Victoria tells them and Buck nudges her causing her to smirk a bit. Her eyes go back over in the direction Buck had been looking in, her eyes searching the group before they land on a familiar brunette man. A smile can't help but overtake her features.
"I want to introduce my operational section chief captain Owen strand out of Austin." The chief tells them and Victoria saw the older man walk in front of them. She wasn't sure if he'd notice her but it also wouldn't be the right time for a reunion.
"The thing we were praying wouldn't happen has happened. The wind has shifted. The fire is now in a collision course with the city of San Angelo. There's a possibility of weather coming in, but we can't rely on it and we won't. We have one last shot to turn the tide." Owen explains to them before turning to the map they had displayed on the board.
"Here, on copper ridge. We cut a containment line here and we can stop this beast in it's tracks. I know you're exhausted. A lot of you haven't had more than a couple hours sleep in days. But on behalf of the city of San Angelo and their one hundred and twenty thousand souls, we're gonna get you up on that fire line and you're gonna cut like hell. Stay safe and good luck."
A few people dispersed as the meeting was over. Victoria glanced back over toward the man she saw earlier only to find he was looking right back at her. He gives her a teasing look before sticking up his middle finger.
"Buck, seriously? Please don't make me report you to HR." Hen complains, causing Victoria to look back at them.
"No, no. I swear I know her from somewhere. It's killing me." Buck admits with a sigh and Victoria shakes her head before looking back in front of her.
"You too, vic?" Hen asks, raising an eyebrow.
"I'm not a stalker like Buck." Victoria teases making the man groan but she only heads in the direction that the group was standing in. "TK!" She shouts, gaining his attention once more. The man smiles wider as he tilts his head.
"Thought you were just gonna pretend to not know me." Tk admits and Victoria presses her tongue to the inside of her cheek.
"I thought about it."
Tk just shakes his head before she finally stands in front of him and he was quick to pick her up in a hug. She wraps her arms around him as he swings her around a bit, both of them laughing before she was placed back on the ground. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming down to help?" Tk asks her curiously, his hand lingering in hers for a moment.
"Wasn't sure if i was still apart of the emergency relief team, didn't wanna get your hopes up." She says, nudging his shoulder and he nods his head slowly.
"Mhm, and the countless hours you spent driving you didn't think to send me a text?" Tk asks her, narrowing his eyes and she just purses her lips a bit.
"Then it wouldn't be a surprise." Victoria admits and tk rolls his eyes playfully but smiles back at her. A loud clearing of a throat causes them to look over at Marjan who raised her hand.
"Hi, woman I've never seen before in my life." Marjan says bluntly, waving at the woman. Victoria laughs a bit, waving back.
"You gonna introduce us, or are we just supposed to guess who she is?" Judd asks, tilting his head as he stares at Tk who turned a bit red. Honestly, he had forgotten his friends were around.
"I'm Vic, I'm a friend." Victoria says as she holds her hand out. Judd shakes it first, followed by the others.
"We've known each other since we were kids." Tk adds and Judd shakes his head.
"I'm so sorry." He says in an apologetic voice toward Victoria as Tk only glares at him.
"So, do you know why that guy's staring at me?" Marjan asks, clearly referring to Buck and Victoria smiles gently.
"That's Buck, he's harmless."
"Also her boyfriend." Tk adds and Marjan raises an eyebrow but doesn't say anything more.
"Are my eyes deceiving me or is that really you?" She hears a voice behind her and when she turns she sees Owen walking over to them.
"Hi, Owen." Victoria responds, immediately returning the hug he gave her before they pulled away from each other.
"How have you been?" The man asks with a smile and Victoria returns it.
"Good."
"I'm glad to hear that." Owen admits as he stares down at her. "You're here to help with the medical brigade?" He asks her and Victoria couldn't help but sigh a little. Even out here, the rules were still present it seemed.
"My captain called you, didn't he?" Victoria questions and Owen seemed a bit confused until he saw tk give him a certain look.
"Yeah, let's go with that." Owen responds and Victoria glances at Tk seeing him quickly change his expression, rubbing the back of his neck. She groans as she crosses her arms against her chest.
"TK."
"What? He asked how you were, i wasnt gonna say you were fine when you were literally electrocuted." Tk admits and Victoria tilts her head back a bit. So, Bobby hadn't called but tk had blabbed to his dad about it. Owen probably just assumed she was still on light duty since he most likely didn't know when it happened.
"Holy shit, that was you?" Marjan asks, her eyes wide but Judd clears his throat, giving her a look. "Sorry." She apologizes but Victoria didn't mind.
"It's fine." She assures her. "I should get back to my team." Victoria says and Tk watches as she walks away a bit.
"Okay, just remember to take it easy." He calls out after her and she turns back to him for a moment.
"Your dad should be saying that, not you." Victoria retorts before heading back over to her group, all of whom were staring at her. Buck seemed a bit agitated, Hen was confused but also curious while as Eddie just seemed to be in his own world enjoying the heat.
"And who was that?" Hen asks as soon as she stopped in front of them.
"A friend." She answers simply.
"You know people in Texas?" Eddie wondered why she hadnt said anything but she shakes her head.
"Nah, they moved here about a year ago, From new York."
"Right and what kind of friend is he?" Buck asks in a sort of accusatory manner and Victoria had to fight back her smirk as she raises an eyebrow.
"A close one?"
"Seemed real close." Buck mutters, hating how the guy had his hands all over her and was standing all too close to her as well.
"Are you jealous?" Victoria questions, even though she knew for a fact he was and she loved it.
"Wha-- no?" His voice cracked a bit, indicating his lie.
"You're jealous." She says, laughing as she tilts her head. Buck crosses his arms against his chest.
"I'm not. I just thought i knew all of your friends." Buck retorts and Victoria narrows her gaze a bit.
"And you have to know all of my friends because...?"
"We're a couple, we should know these things." Buck states, gesturing between them. He also was hoping Eddie would chime in but he was just sipping a coffee he had in his hand to which Buck had no idea when or how he got it.
"And do i know all your friends?" Victoria asks, staring up at the man who hesitates.
"Most of them."
"But not all of them."
"Are you really trying to get out of this through a technicality?" Buck asks in an annoyed tone.
"Are you really trying to act like you're not jealous?" Victoria retorts in his same tone, mocking him as she places a hand on her hip. "When Eddie and Hen were both witnesses?" She points out and he goes silent. "That's what i thought." She says with a smirk, leaning up to kiss his cheek before walking past the group.
"No support whatsoever." Buck sneers toward the pair. Hen holds her hands up in defense before following after Victoria and Eddie chuckles to himself.
"You dug your own hole, mi amor." He says, slyly squeezing bucks hip before also heading off in his own direction.

EDDIE WALKS UP BEHIND VICTORIA WHO WAS DRINKING FROM A BOTTLE OF WATER. He grabs her waist softly so she knew he was there before he held onto her free hand. "Come with me." He tells her, starting to bring her along with him which made her a bit confused. Victoria pulled against his grip, wondering why he was in a sudden rush.
"I was supposed to meet Hen in the medical tent." Victoria tells him, gesturing to where she was previously headed.
"Or would you rather go find some missing kids up past the fire line?" Eddie retorts, raising an eyebrow and he could see her eyes widen in excitement.
"Really?"
"Captains sending a team up, we need another medic." He admits, tilting his head as his hand reaches out to grab hers once again. "You gonna stand here and wait for Buck to find out or are we getting on that atv?" Eddie questions and Victoria didn't hesitate to follow him over to the vehicle.
"He's gonna be mad." Victoria admits but if even Eddie knew he was being a bit too much, then maybe he did need to just cut it back slightly.
"He needs to relax a bit. Besides, your friend can keep him company." Eddie tells her with a wink and she couldn't help but laugh.
"You're playing with fire, Diaz." She tells him. Buck would probably not be the most thrilled to have to hang around tk who he was definitely super jealous of. Victoria could make his life easy and tell him Tk is gay but he never asked her about Albert moving in so this was his payback.
"I know." Eddie responds before hoping into the atv. "Hope you don't mind i picked up a stray." He says, looking toward Judd who glances over, seeing Victoria getting in as well.
"Always got space for Tk's friends." Judd responds before he starts the atv and drives toward where the camp was located.
"Why do I hear sarcasm in that?" Victoria asks with a smile on her face.
"He's a good kid, just a bit annoying at times." Judd says with a smirk, winking at her and she couldn't help but laugh.
"Oh, you don't know the half of it." She denies, leaning back in her seat. Eddie was just swatting away some of the bugs that were hanging around them as they drove.
"Got you some of them Critters, Hollywood? Bet they don't get that big in LA."
"Oh, well, we got plenty in El Paso." Eddie retorts, probably feeling good to set the record straight that he wasn't from Hollywood.
"Oh, no way. You're from El Paso? Where'd you go to high school?" Judd says, seemingly more excited to know about him now.
"La Salle."
"La Salle. Woah, we used to whoop your ass every year at state. I was Austin heights." He says with a laugh and Eddie narrows his gaze.
"You're a bulldog?" Eddie questions and Judd nods his head.
"Roger."
"And I thought we were gonna be friends." Eddie jokes causing Judd to shake his head, looking at the road before glancing toward Victoria.
"You from New York?" He asks, a safe assumption since tk said they were childhood friends.
"Chicago." Victoria corrects him and Judd raises his eyebrows.
"Any reason you traded in the windy city for Hollywood? Not judging but it wouldn't be my first choice." Judd says with a small laugh. Victoria was quiet for a moment and she could see Eddie glance at her.
"Just needed a fresh start." She answers him with a soft smile. Judd nods, looking at her for a moment before he sighs a bit.
"I know the feeling." He admits. Victoria bites her tongue as her eyes go to her hands. She wasn't sure if she should say anything but she remembered hearing about it and then Tk also confirmed it.
"You're Judd, right?" Victoria asks hesitantly.
"Yeah, thats right."
"I'm sorry about what happened." She apologizes. Victoria saw the way Judd tensed for a moment before softening as he thought of them. "To your team." Victoria adds. She remembered seeing the headlines and it was completely devastating. Being the lone survivor would be a tough thing to live with.
"Thank you, appreciate it." Judd says, sincerity in his voice as he gave a soft smile toward the girl.
Suddenly Marjan was speeding past them with a laugh, bringing them all out of it. "She always like that?" Eddie asks curiously.
"Always." Judd responds with a laugh before they enter the camp. They saw a group of kids huddled together and Eddie stands up just a bit to get a better look. Victoria's hand absentmindedly went to his foot.
"I only count seven kids. IC said there was supposed to be eight." Eddie announces as they stop the vehicle.
"Yep, and a counselor. Hey!" Judd adds as they get out. "Back Up, we're here now. We're gonna get you All down the mountain, okay? Vic and Eddies gonna check everybody out, make sure everyone's Okay." He tells them and Victoria offers a kind smile as she moves some of them to sit down.
"So, who's missing?" Eddie asks curiously, glancing around the group.
"Mr Gomez. He left last night looking for JJ and he never came back." One of the mid answers.
"JJ run away?" Paul asks curiously and the kid shakes his head quickly.
"No, man. He was out doing his solo."
"Solo?" Marjan questions, furrowing her eyebrows.
"Yeah, it's two nights mandatory alone in the woods. It builds character and self respect, but it's usually pretty well- monitored." Judd chimes in and Paul just stares at the man.
"You know that how?"
"Mr Gomez, have a cell phone?" Judd asks the kid who nods.
"He's the only one that does. We're not allowed."
"No call in eight hours, I could just be bad reception." Marjan suggests but as Eddie looks past her, he slowly stands up catching everyone's attention.
"Or something else." Eddie retorts and as they look in the direction he was, they see Mr Gomez covered in a blanket as he walks over to them.
"Please help." The man says in a raspy voice before he collapses to the ground. Victoria quickly rushes over with the others, bending down next to him.
"Hey, where's jj?" Paul asks, seeing that the kid was not with him.
"Couldn't find him."
The man suddenly goes limp and Eddie bends down, listening closely for a moment. "He's not breathing." Eddie denies and they were quick to grab the man, bringing him over to the table.
They set him down, making sure to clear it off so they could have better access. "Vic, grab the IV bag from the kit. I'm gonna run a line." Eddie tells her and Victoria moves to grab it. As she comes back, eddie injects the line before turning to Paul. "Can you hold this?" He asks, referencing the iv bag which Paul nods and takes it.
"Hey, men, let's back up." Judd says, moving the kids away so they had more space to work.
"I'm not hearing any air escaping." Eddie denies as he shakes his head.
"Lungs are intact." Victoria adds.
"Then why isn't his chest rising." Paul asks, a bit confused. Victoria narrows her gaze before she leans forward, cutting the mans shirt and numerous gasps were heard. There was massive burn tissue covering the mans chest. Victoria stares at the patient for a moment before her eyes go to Eddie.
"We need to do an escharotomy." She tells him and she could see he was thinking the same thing as her.
"What the hells that?" Marjan asks.
"That burn tissue? That's called eschar. It's constricting his chest like a rope. It's preventing his lungs from expanding. He can't draw a breath. We need to cut it." Eddie tells her and Marjans eyes widen a bit.
"Now?" Marjan asks, looking around at the not so ideal area.
"Now." Eddie confirms before his eyes go back over to Victoria. "You ever done this?" He asks her curiously and Victoria bites the inside of her cheek.
"Once."
"You got it." Eddie says, holding the scalpel over to her. Victoria hesitates but takes it from him as Eddie pours the solution onto the man so he wouldnt get infected. "Hope you're not squeamish." He states looking toward Marjan.
Victoria takes a deep breath before starting to slice the man's skin, but not deep enough that it would do too much damage. As soon as she had released the pressure on both sides, she looks toward Marjan. "Rescue breaths." She tells the woman who immediately bags the patient.
It was a few seconds before the man was gasping, his eyes opening. "JJ?" He asks, looking around but Eddie steadies him so he wouldn't move as much.
"Sir, we're aware of this missing kid. I need you to take nice and steady breaths." Eddie explains to him before putting the mask back over his face.
"Nicely done, guys." Marjan says as she looks at both of them.
"You too, Firefox." Eddie responds and the name strikes a memory within Victoria.
"Holy shit, you did look familiar. I thought Buck was lying again." Victoria admits with a small gasp. Marjan laughs as she smiles back at the girl.
"Don't think I haven't heard about you, tk always talked about a badass woman, guess it's good to put a name to the stories." She says, nudging the womans shoulder.
"All fake." Victoria retorts with a smirk causing Marjan to playfully roll her eyes before they start loading the man into the atv in order to transport back to the camp.

DIGGING THE LINE SO THE FIRE ISNT ABLE TO SPREAD FURTHER, Buck was silently cursing to himself as he had been abandoned by all his fellow 118 members. Hen had gone to the medical tent and he had just found out Eddie and Victoria went up to the fire line. He didn't get why Eddie would allow her to go but that would be a discussion for later.
"So, LA, huh?" Mateo starts to say as he looks over at Buck who meets his gaze.
"Yeah."
"That's cool. I got a cousin in LA. Marvin. People say we look alike. Maybe you know him." He suggests and Buck wanted to be nice but he didn't really see why he was saying this.
"It's kinda a big place." Buck responds with a tight smile on his face.
"No, i know. His last names Chavez."
"Yeah, i don't think so." Buck denies, shaking his head.
"He's in jail anyway. I bet you get some pretty crazy calls out there." Mateo says and Buck let's out a breath, nodding his head.
"You have no idea."
"We get our fair share in Texas." Tk pipes up, as If it was a competition or something.
"You ever get a call at Disneyland?" Mateo asks curiously.
"That's orange county." Buck answers him.
"But LA, right?" Mateo asks and Buck laughs a bit before his eyes move over to Tk.
"Hey, so, you and Vic? You go way back or...?" He asks, clearing his throat a bit. Tk glances at him, shrugging his shoulders.
"Yeah, we've known each other for a while."
"Right. And you're close?" Buck questions, narrowing his gaze. Tk raises his eyebrows, laughing as he presses his lips together tightly.
"I'd say so, she's seen me naked." Tk states causing both Mateo and Buck to stop what they were doing to just stare at him. His eyes go a bit wide. "That came out wrong." He admits. It wasn't in the sense that they were most likely thinking. It was in fact way far off from that. "We're just best friends, that's all." Tk states but he could see the slight jealousy within Buck.
"It's weird, I've never heard about you." Buck admits and Tk knew it was meant more as an insult than anything.
"Huh, that is weird because I've heard a lot about you." Tk responds and there was sarcasm sensed in his tone. But Buck couldn't tell if he was being serious or not but he saw the slight annoyance tk gave him.
"Well, i am her boyfriend." Buck retorts bluntly and Tk just licks his bottom lip as he raises his eyebrows. He really wasn't sure what Victoria said to Buck, if anything. Right now it didn't seem like Buck knew anything about who he was.
"Oh, I'm well aware." Tk mutters as he hits the ground once more with his shovel. Mateo was just listening to them, his gaze flickering back and forth.
"I just figured if you were so close, she would've told me about you, that's all."
"Well, we are close enough that she called me when she got out of rehab, so." Tk snaps back before he instantly freezes. His eyes go over to Buck who seemed shocked by what he said and a bit hurt. But Buck just instantly starts hitting the ground again with his shovel. Tk frowns a bit. "Shit, I'm sorry--"
"It's fine." Buck mutters, brushing him off. Tk sighs, rolling his head back. That's when he saw a flaming car rolling down the hill which made his eyes go wide. He rushes toward Buck, pushing him out of the way just as the car comes down.
Buck was quick to get up, along with tk, rushing toward the car. "It looks like just the driver!" Buck informs them as he looked into the passenger window before running to the other side of the car.
"Hey, we're gonna get you out of there!" Tk assures them.
A few of the other firefighters spray the fire, putting it out quickly while Buck goes to the door. "It's locked!" Buck announces, not being able to get it open.
"Buck, heads up!" Tk shouts, throwing the shovel he had over to the man who breaks the window and is able to unlock the door.
But as the door opens and Buck steps back, a dog is the only thing to jump out. Everyone stares at it as Mateo bends down to grab it. "Clyde!" They hear someone yell before seeing a man running toward them. "Oh, damn it. Clyde." He mutters, grabbing a hold of the dog. "I'm so sorry, i left him alone for ten seconds, he must've unlocked the parking break." He explains to them and Mateo laughs a bit.
"Your dog has a lead foot." He responds while Buck and Tk just watch the man walk away with his dog.
"So that was weird." Buck states simply.
"Right?"
"Nice move by the way, good reflexes." Buck says, patting tk on the shoulder as he goes to pass him.
"Yeah, you too." He responds before reaching out and grabbing the mans arm. "Hey, I'm sorry about what I said, it was out of line." Tk apologizes as he looks toward Buck who only gives a light smile in response before shaking his head.
"Really, don't sweat it."

VICTORIA WAS SAT NEXT TO EDDIE AND MARJAN, looking up at the sky as a helicopter flew past. Paul and Judd and gone out to find the missing kid while they stayed back just incase he wandered back go the camp. "Who is crazy enough to go up in this?" Eddie asks with a light scoff, knowing they wouldn't necessarily authorize a helicopter.
"Owen strand. I literally idolized him as a kid, he did the coolest shit." Victoria says with a light smile on her face. She knew it was him without even knowing. He'd rather risk his own life than ask someone else to.
"Is that where the reckless behavior comes from?" Eddie teases her with a smirk forming, raising an eyebrow.
Victoria gasps as she just placed her hand on her chest. "I get that from my dad, thank you very much." She responds and he shakes his head with a low chuckle.
"Judd, we've got something under a grove of trees. South by southeast of your position. Im gonna try and get over on top of it." Owens voice comes through the radio and they all look towards it.
"Okay, cap, we're coming at you."
"All right, you're closing in. Less than twenty meters." He admits and Victoria was just hoping they would find the boy. She was glad Owen decided to go up honestly because it gave them a way better chance.
"Cap, we got him." Judd tells him after a moment and Victoria was thankful as she rests her head against eddies shoulder.
"Hows he looks?"
"Not good. His ankles caught in a bear trap." Judd informs them.
"Think you can get him out?" Owen asks curiously.
"I don't know. It's got him pretty good." Judd admits with a sigh. "All right, we're hooking him up to the LIFEPAK right now, but it looks like he's lost a lot of blood." He explains to his captain.
"Hey, Judd. This is paramedic Henrietta Wilson. I'm up here with your captain." Victoria snaps her head toward Eddie who only tilts his head back in slight irritation.
"You've gotta be kiding me." Eddie mutters. Neither of them were expecting to hear Hens voice through the radio, especially not from inside a helicopter flying over the wildfire.
"Why the hell is she up there?" Victoria asks and Eddie just shakes his head.
"She is stubborn." He mutters. But which one of them weren't?
"I'm pretty sure you firefighters are fully equipped and capable to handle this." Hen starts to say but Judd quickly cuts her off.
"No, no please walk us through it."
"All right, before you do anything, i need you to place a tourniquet three inches above the wound but not over the knee." Hen explains to them. Honestly, Victoria felt like she should have been one of the ones to go search for the boy but it was actually Judd who forced her to stay behind. Even people she barely knew were 'protecting' her.
"Tourniquets on, what now?"
"All right, get him out of the trap, but keep the foot elevated above the heart. Then wrap the wound as fast and tight as you can." Hen tells him. Victoria wanted to tell her to be safe as well but knew she shouldn't interrupt them. "Talk to me boys, how's he doing?" She asks, concern in her voice.
"He's not doing good. He's bleeding out and he's crashing." Judd states, things clearly not going as well as they'd hoped.
"You need to give him fluids to stabilize him. Saline now." It was quiet for a few moments as they waited to hear what happened. Suddenly the radio turned back on.
"Ms Henrietta the fluids worked."
"I'm very glad to hear it."
"Judd, can you get him out of there on an atv?" Owen's voice comes through.
"Yeah, that ain't a problem. I gotta pick up Marjan, Vic and Diaz." Judd tells him.
"Roger that, see you back at base." Owen says before the line cuts off. Victoria let's out a sigh as she runs a hand over her face.
"Well, that was eventful." Marjan says with a light laugh. Victoria smiles over at the woman, leaning back against the table.
"May day. Mayday. We are going down. This is a distress call." They suddenly hear over the radio causing Victoria's eyes to go wide. She looks toward Eddie who has the same worried look on his face. "Mayday, Mayday. We are going down." It was suddenly static through the radio, and eery silence falling over them as they couldn't believe what had just happened.
Victoria felt her heart begin to race as she comes to terms with the fact that someone she cared about was in imminent danger. That they weren't going to safely land back on the ground because they had gone down in a spiral. All she could do was cover her mouth as she thought about the possibly of Hen being gravely hurt.
"Oh, my god."
โขโขโขโข
Authors note; honestly forgot how much happened in the crossover so it's being split into two chapters! Also Owen is actually gonna be likeable in this book, ugh I hate him in the show. Why is he literally in every single storyline even when it has nothing to do with him? Ugh I could rant for hours but won't.
