VICTORIA WALKS ONTO THE APPARATUS FLOOR WITH HEN, both of them seeing the smile that was on Bobby's face. They had noticed that he had been in a good mood recently and had tried to figure out why. Of course they wouldn't know if they were right until he told them. "You are cheery." Hen points out, crossing her arms against her chest. Bobby meets their curious gazes.
"Why shouldn't I be?" Bobby asks, shrugging his shoulders. Victoria could onkt look at him suspiciously though.
"I don't know. Maybe cause you been like thisย for weeks, and it's starting to get on my nerves." Hen states as she lets out a small scoff. "What's going on with you?" She asks him, but before he can say anything, Buck interrupts the conversation.
"I got another DXA scan, and guess who dropped another half percent?" Buck asks them with a smirk on his lips. They all just stared at him with complete confusion on their faces.
"What?" Bobby asks him.
"Speak normally, probie." Victoria mumbles, crossing her arms.
"A DXA scan measures your bodyย fat. You can see your percentage in every part of your body." Buck answers her. Of course he cared about something like that. Victoria couldn't care less what her body fat percentage was.
"Oh, yeah? They measure theย fat in your head?" Chimney teases him, raising an eyebrow at Buck.
"Pretty sure that's where one hundred percent of it is." Victoria adds. Buck turns his head toward her, narrowing his eyes as he just flips her off. Victoria sends a kiss back in his direction.
"See, that would beย funny but we're about a week awayย from submissions being dueย for the Hot Days, smoldering nights: Men of the LAfD wall calendar and I'm already at my goal weight, so it seems like my head is clearly working perfectly." Buck explains to them as he points toward it. Victoria rolls her eyes, tilting her head back.
"Do you really need to use that whole title?" Hen asks them curiously. "You could just say, 'That idiotic, reductive, sexist calender that insults the dignity of this organization andย furthers the myth that allย firefighters are male.'" She tells them, putting a false smile onto her face.
"Yeah, that's not any less words." Buck says in a joking manner.
"Hen, come on, it'sย for charity." Bobby states causing her eyes to snap to him.
"No, Bobby, You too?" Hen asks him with a groan, tilting her head back a little bit. Victoria laughs as she crosses her arms.
"Well, why not? They say a man's at his sexiest when he reachesย fifty." Bobby points out with a shrug of his shoulders. Victoria raises an eyebrow at him, amused by his comment.
"Is that what they say? That's what they say?" Hen questions, shaking her head as she narrows her eyes a bit.
"Okay, you're both wrong, all right." Chimney interrupts, making everyone look over at him. "You see, I think sorority houses all across this great nation are readyย for a new asian sex symbol. It's out time." He says with a smirk, purposely moving his body in a certain way.
Victoria just felt like the whole thing was stupid. Hen felt the same way but of course the men thought it was awesome to enter. "I think it's great. You know, I like that you're both going upย for it." Buck admits as he shrugs his shoulders. Bobby just lets out a scoff.
"Oh, because you don't think that we have a chance." Bobby retorts and Buck just had to lift his hands up in defense.
"Whoa, Did i say that?" Buck asks him, raising his eyebrows. "I mean, sure, let's be real. They are only picking one candidateย from each station." He points out. Victoria shakes her head a bit.
"Okay, that is a beautiful man." Chimney pipes up as he looks at something behind them. Victoria furrows her eyebrows, turning her head to see who he was talking about. Her eyes go wide as she sets her eyes on the man.
He was stood near the lockers shirtless and he wasnt exactly hard to look at. Victoria felt her mouth drop open a little as her eyes dropped to his stomach, or more specifically his abs. He had definitely kept himself in peak shape.
"Where's the lie? And I like girls." Hen mutters with a scoff, raising an eyebrow.
"Damn, he's like a greek god." Victoria adds, tilting her head. Buck moves his eyes to Victoria who was all but flirting with the man already just with her eyes. He couldn't help but scoff as he crosses his arms against his chest.
"What the hell is that?" Buck asks, his voice obviously showing distaste. Bobby looks toward the group.
"It's Eddie Diaz. New Recruit. Graduated top of his class just this week." He tells them. Victoria nods her head slowly. "Guys over at station six were dying to have him, but I convinced him to join us." Bobby explains, looking over at Eddie as well who was putting his shirt on.
"Boy, am I gladย for that." Victoria says under her breath as she moves closer to Hen who nods her head.
"I think we all could use some eye candy." She responds, meeting Victoria's gaze.
""I think I want to taste that candy." Victoria teases. Hen laughs, rolling her eyes playfully as she shakes her head.
"What do we need himย for?" Buck asks, his voice a bit stern as he kept his glare stuck on Eddie.
"He served multiple tours in Afghanistan as an army medic. Guy's got a silver star. It's not like he's wet behind the ears." He explains with a small huff of air. Victoria stares back over at Eddie for a moment. "Come on, I'll introduce you to him." Bobby tells them as he starts walking but stops next to Buck. "He likes to be called eight pack." He says with a smirk, hitting Buck's stomach. Buck clenches his jaw a bit.
"It's more like ten." Victoria says with a smirk on her face. She would honestly make a petition to have him shirtless all day long.
"Wow, silver star." Hen mutters, following after Bobby. The only one who didn't was Buck.
Eddie glances over at them when he notices the group stopping beside him.
"Eddie, this is Hen, Chimney and Vic." Bobby introduces them. Victoria wasn't really paying attention to what he was saying, her eyes were solely on Eddie.
She was never one to become distracted by someone, especially who she was supposed to work with. But something about Eddie just captivated her and she couldn't help herself. She was so caught up in her thought that she hadnt realized Eddie had extended his hand out toward her until he started to speak.
"It's nice to meet you." Eddie says, his eyes on the woman. Victoria could feel her cheeks heat up as she actually meets his gaze. Clearing her throat, she shakes his hand.
"Eddie, right?" She asks him, feeling stupid the moment that it left her mouth. Eddie smiles toward her and she could feel herself melt a little bit.
"Yeah."
"I think she might drool on him." Chimney mutters toward Hen who chuckles a bit, smirking to herself. They both shared the same thought as they watched Victoria interact with Eddie. But both Eddie and Victoria also overheard the comment.
"Ignore him." Victoria says with a laugh, rubbing the back of her neck. Eddie just smiles back at her, chuckling underneath his breath. Buck watches them from afar, his jaw clenched as a scoff leaves his lips.
He knew he shouldn't feel jealous, he was still technically with Abby even though Victoria had been telling him to just let her go. But as Buck stood there, seeing how Victoria was so clearly flirting with the man, it made the green eyed monster come out.
โขโขโขโข
AS THEY DROVE TO THE SCENE, victoria had her gaze out the window as she rested her head against it. Buck was no beside her as Eddie joined the team. Not that she minded sitting next to Buck, but she hated how he leg kept bashing against hers. "So, silver star, huh?" Chimney asks through the headset that everyone had on. Victoria glances over, furrowing her eyebrows a bit.
"Yeah." Eddie says, nodding his head, resting it back against the seat.
"You save a platoon or something?" Chimney asks him curiously. Victoria looks at Eddie for a moment before her eyes drop to her hands.
"No, nothing like that. Just uh, just a convoy." Eddie answers, seemingly not very comfortable with the question. Victoria hears the uncertainty in his tone. But she knew that earning a medal like that wasn't just given to anybody.
"Don't just brush it off like it's nothing." Victoria says, looking over at the man. Eddie meets her gaze, nodding his head. But he could see something in her eyes, something he couldn't quite place.
"And what would you know about silver star's?" Chimney asks her, raising an eyebrow in the woman's direction. Victoria stays silent, just shrugging her shoulders as she brings her eyes back away from everybody.
Hen, seeing the tension in the air, decided to change the subject. "Eddie, uh, you heard about the hotย firefighter calender?" Hen says before smiling brightly, wiggling her eyebrows in Eddie's direction. The man laughs, looking at her in amusement.
"Sorry, the what?"
"It'sย for charity." Hen states very clearly, still staring at him. Eddie still didn't really understand. By this time, Victoria had placed a smirk on her lips as she moved her foot against his.
"You would definitely have a chance at winning, muscles." Victoria admits, tilting her head. Eddie was a bit surprised by the nickname, raising an eyebrow at her. But it was obvious how she had come up with it.
"Muscles?" He replies, raising an eyebrow at her. Victoria leans forward in her seat a little bit, her eyes running over him for a second.
"It suits you." She tells him with a small wink. Eddie chuckles, gazing back at her. Buck was just flickering his eyes between them before he loudly clears his throat.
"So is yourย full name Eduardo?" Buck asks him. Eddie moves his eyes to Buck, a bit more stoic.
"No."
"People ever call you Diaz?" Buck questions making Victoria roll her eyes a bit. She didn't understand why he was being so annoying all of a sudden.
"Not if they want me to respond." Eddie retorts as he crosses his arms against his chest. Buck just lets a scoff leave his lips as he narrows his eyes.
"Something's gotta give. We got... we got Cap, Hen, Chimney, Buck, Vic. We can't just call you Eddie." Buck denies. Everyone gives him a very confused look, mainly because he was giving Eddie a really hard time. Why? That was a mystery. To most at least.
"Can't tell if he's being serious or not." Eddie says as he looks over at the others. Victoria snorts as she shakes her head.
"I like to always operate under the assumption that nothing he says is serious." Chimney replies as he meets Eddie's gaze.
"Whatever Buck says just goes in one ear and out the other." Victoria admire, shrugging her shoulders a little bit. Buck snaps his head toward her.
"Talking like your opinion matters." Buck tells her, clenching his jaw a little bit. Victoria looks at the man next to her.
"Matters more than yours." She retorts, giving him a smile. Buck just rolls his eyes as he glances away from her. Victoria moves her gaze to Eddie. "Besides, Diaz is badass." Victoria tells him, nudging his knee. Eddie chuckles, smirking over at her before looking out the window.
All the while noticing how Buck's eyes pierced his skull. He wasn't blind, from the very moment he met the man, he got a glare. Especially when he even so much as glanced in Victoria's direction.

VICTORIA WALKED INTO THE EQUIPMENT ROOM, watching as Eddie laid a final kick to the punching bag. She claps slowly, catching his attention, as well as Buck who was also within the room lifting weights. "Pretty impressive." She admits as she places her hands on her hips, stopping bext to him. "At least to start with." Victoria adds as she shrugs her shoulders a little bit.
"Oh, you think you can do better?" Eddie taunts her, crossing his arms. Victoria laughs as she picks up the weight that was placed next to the bag. Eddie just watches her carry it out of the way. It wasn't exactly a light one.
"That's so cute of you to even ask that." Victoria responds, looking back at him. Eddie licks his bottom lip.
"If i didn't know any better, I'd say you were trying to outlift me." Eddie says, glancing toward the weight that she had just set down.
"Oh, I am not trying. I am certainly outlifting you. Well, once you actually pick up some weights." She teases with a smirk. Eddie narrows his eyes a bit.
"Let me see that." He says, gesturing to the weight she had just put down. Victoria grabs it handing it to him. Eddie grabs another from the rack, curling them.
"Not bad, muscles." Victoria says, more so looking at the flex in his arms. The nickname really did suit him. "Not as good as me though." She states.
"You know, maybe we can test your theory if you can lift this." Eddie says, taking a step toward her after grabbing a set of heavier weights. Victoria was about to take them from him before she noticed him looking over at Buck. "You're in the wrong light, man." He tells him. When Victoria looks over, she notices Buck trying to take photos.
"Some of us don't need lighting to look good." Buck responds as he doesn't even glance over at them.
"And some of us want you to stop embarrassing yourself." Victoria retorts, shaking her head. Buck just glares over toward her but she was already looking at Eddie. "Now, how did you do that kick thing?" She asks, gesturing to the punching bag. Eddie smirks as he tilts his head.
"Kick thing?" He teases her taking a step closer to her. Victoria presses her tongue to the inside of her cheek as she narrows her eyes up at him.
"Whatever." Victoria mumbles, pretending to start walking away. Eddie just chuckles as he blocks her.
"Just stand with your body positioned like this to start with."ย Eddie tells her, showing her what he meant. Victoria copied his pose, although she may have 'accidentally' done it a bit wrong. "No, don't close yourself off." He denies as he moves closer, bringing his hand to her waist and turning her body.
Victoria felt like she could just melt against his touch. Her head slightly tilted in his direction, her eyes gazing up. Eddie was focused on correcting her stance but after a moment, he met her gaze. Victoria tried to keep her eyes innocent, like she wasn't trying to catch his attention. But anyone with eyes could see that she was liking his touch.
"Hey, Eddie, what'd you mean by the wrong light?" Chimney asks as he made his way over to the pair. Victoria hated when Eddie retracted his hand from her waist in order to turn toward the man.
"Right now, Chim? You need to ask him that right now?" She mutters with a clench of her jaw. Eddie heard her though and he couldnt help but smirk.
"The light in this room isย flat and blue. Makes you look soft." He answers Chimney, gesturing to the lights above.
"I don't think you have that issue." Victoria denies as she looks at the man. Eddie meets her gaze, chuckling as he shakes his head.
"If you want to look lean and muscles to pop, you need warm side light. I'll show you. These are the ones I sent inย for the calendar." He tells them as he shows them. Even Buck had walked over in order to see.
Victoria almost dropped her jaw at the sight of the photographs. He was definitely just as good looking on camera as he was in person. "Hot." She hadnt even meant to say it, it just came out of her mouth. Her cheeks burn red as they all look toward her. "I mean, that's what the people who buy the calendar will think." Victoria corrects herself, rubbing the back of her neck.
Eddie was amused by her comment but it had only made Buck a bit jealous as he scoffed. "It's uh, kind of cheating submitting pictures by a professional photographer." He says, accusing Eddie who just raises his eyebrow at Buck.
"The photographer's twelve. My niece." Eddie explains as he looks more at Victoria and Chimney. "She's the master at the iPhoneย filters." He states as he puts his phone away.
"Your niece did this?" Chimney asks and Eddie nods his head. "You think she'd be willing to take my submission picsย for me? I'm told I photograph like an asianย fabio." He says with a small laugh.
"Yeah, sure she would." Eddie replies.
"You know, you shouldn't really get his hopes up like that. No offense, Chim." Buck says. Victoria couldn't help but roll her eyes at his behaviour.
"No offense taken, Evan." Chimney responds, his tone harsh as he just narrows his eyes.
"Dude, you need to chill out." Victoria says lowly to Buck. He really just needed to calm down, he was acting out for no reason.
"Right, why don't you just go back toย flirting with the new guy?" Buck snaps toward her. Victoria was slightly shocked as she could only stare back at him. A glare forms on her face.
"You don't have to be a dick." She retorts sharply as she narrows her eyes. Buck just rolls his eyes, looking away from her.
"What's your problem, man?" Eddie asks, stepping between them.
"Okay, you." Buck responds, his gaze locking on Eddie's. "You're my problem. Your comfort level. You're not supposed to just walk in here like you've been hereย for years. And flirting isn't gonna get your spot solidified here either. It's meant to be a getting-to-know-you period. You're supposed to respect your elders." He explains to the man who just stares at him. Chimney laughed from across the room.
"You're not his elder, Buck." Chimney states.
"You're not even my elder." Victoria denies as she didn't really see where he was going with this.
"Look, I in no way meant to, uh, be tooย familiar or step on anybody's toes. I know you're going through some personal stuff right now." Eddie denies as he never wanted to start an argument with Buck. He didn't even get why Buck just kept pushing a fight.
"What personal stuff?" Buck asks him, furrowing his eyebrows as he had never mentioned anything.
"I know your girlfriend recently broke up with you and you're coming to terms with that." Eddie tells him and Victoria could see the anger forming on Buck's face.
"No, I'm not. And she didn't break up with me. Who told you that?" He asks with a small scoff. Chimney instantly looks away.
"Twenty one." Chimney mutters as he lifts himself once more on the machine.
"Oh, I think Hen -- coming!" Victoria rushes out of the room to avoid any of the fall out. But Buck was already embarrassing himself. She didn't even understand why he cared if she flirted with Eddie or not.
"I'm just saying, I hear you're a good guy and I'm sorry you're going through pain but you don't need to take it out on me or be threatened by me. We're on the same team." Eddie explains to him with a sigh as he focuses back on Buck. Buck just scoffs, crossing his arms against his chest.
"Why would I be threatened by you?" Buck asks him, seemingly offended by his comment.
"Exactly there's no need to be. We do the same thing." Eddie points out. "I've just done it while people are shooting at me, is all." He admits with a shrug of his shoulders before going to turn and walk away.
"We're not broken up." Buck says as Eddie moves away from him. He clenches his fists a bit. Buck knew he shouldn't be feeling jealous over Victoria and Eddie, especially since he was still with Abby. Even though Abby hadn't texted him back for a few days.
He had pondered the thought of breaking up with her, mainly because Victoria put it in his head that Abby was going to see other people. But Buck couldn't lie and say that he didn't have his eyes on Victoria because he did.
He just didn't want to make a fool of himself by breaking up with Abby and being rejected.

VICTORIA SAT IN THE AMBULANCE, allowing Eddie and Buck to be the ones who were helping the victim. There really wasnt much she could do herself without just bumping into everything. The patient had a grenade in his leg. Did Victoria still believe that society was stupid? Big time. "I guess you've seen a lot of shrapnel wounds." Buck says, looking over toward Eddie.
"My share." He responds with a nod of his head, checking the patients wound. Victoria however just narrowed her eyes toward Buck.
"You literally know he was in the army." She tells him bluntly. If he was going to ask questions, he should at least avoid asking some that were clearly tone deaf.
"I'm making conversation." Buck says, meeting her gaze, an annoyed expression on his face.
"Right." Victoria mutters, focusing back on the patient.
"You ever seen a guy with a length of rebar stuck through his skull?" Buck asks him curiously, raising an eyebrow. Eddie just lets out a sigh as he glances toward the man.
"What are we measuring here, Buck?"
"Clearly his manhood." Victoria mumbles, looking at Buck. Buck groans as he looks at her, seeing the way that she glanced over him.
"I'm not-- just shut up." He mumbles, not wanting to argue with her with a patient in the ambulance with them.
"Need to change those dressings. They're soaking through." Eddie says, trying to change the conversation.ย Mainly because Buck just kept pushing about his past in the army.
"I'll grab some."ย Victoria says as she moves to the cabinet, grabbing some more bandages.
"Hang in there, Charlie. Almost there." Eddie assures him, trying to keep him calm. Victoria turns back, realizing that she couldn't exactly get to the patient with Eddie and Buck taking up most of the space.
"Okay, I'm just gonna move between you." She tells them, nudging her way through. Victoria clears her throat as she realizes how close all of them were. This ambulance was not exactly big. She didnt even get why Bobby sent all three of them in the ambulance.
The ambulance hits a small bump, causing Victoria to stumble a bit into Buck. His hand wraps around her waist to steady her. Victoria meets his gaze for a second. She just had to keep her face neutral, even though she couldn't help but internally swoon a bit.
"I'm just saying working the streets of L.A is not exactly stressย free." Buck says, looking away from Victoria and back over toward Eddie."May not be the same kind of pressure you have in a war zone, but--"
"Hold on." Eddie cuts him off, backing up a bit and slightly hitting Victoria as he does. "I thought you said this was a practice round." He says, looking down at Charlie.
"It is." The man responds. Victoria and Buck both look over at Eddie who seemed to be very tense.
"Uh.. W-whats going on?" Buck asks, wanting to know what was wrong. Especially since Eddie was quite nervous all of a sudden.
"You see that cap? Practice rounds have blue caps. Gold caps are live." Eddie explains to them as he points into the victims leg. Victoria's eyes go wide as she just stares at the supposed grenade. "Pull over!" Eddie shouts toward the driver.
"You're saying this guy has a live grenade inside of him?" Buck asks, feeling his heart begin to race in his chest. Eddie nods his head as the ambulance pulled to a stop.
"Okay, get out." Eddie demands as he opens the back door. "Carefully." He says, not wanting them to make any sudden movement. Buck was first to get out, followed by Eddie. But when Buck turned, he noticed that Victoria hadn't budged an inch.
"Vic." Buck says, taking a step back toward the ambulance. "Vic!" He says a bit louder but it still doesn't seem to get her full attention. Eddie looked over as well, watching as Victoria seemed stuck in her position. "We gotta move." Buck tells her, trying to be calm but they were next to a live grenade.
"Hey, it's okay. Just move slowly."ย Eddie tells her, reaching his hand toward her. Victoria finally turns her head to them, grabbing a hold of eddies hand. She moves to the exit, feeling Eddie move his other hand to her waist. "I got you." He assures her as he helps her out of the ambulance.
Victoria could barely glance back toward it as they made their way over to Bobby. She froze in there. Victoria had never been near a live round before and if that's what it felt like, her heart had just plummeted in her chest.

VICTORIA WAS JUST STARING OVER AT THE AMBULANCE. Buck and Eddie were finishing getting the patient to safety after removing the bomb. They had both volunteered while Victoria had just stood there. She couldn't even think, let alone say she would go. Eddie seemed to notice her unusual behaviour but obviously he didnt know why she suddenly froze like that.
"How come you didn't volunteer? You're always first for this kind of stuff." Bobby's voice comes from beside her. Victoria looks toward him. She just shrugs her shoulders slowly as she bites the inside of her cheek.
"Didn't really need three people." She didn't really want to say the real reason, especially right now. Victoria didn't really like disclosing that part of her life.
"You okay?" Bobby questions, clearly concerned as he could tell something was bothering her. Victoria forced a smile onto her face as she nodded her head at him.
"Yeah."
"If there's anything you need to talk about, you know im always here." He assures her, placing his hand on her shoulder and giving it a squeeze.
"I know. I'm fine." Victoria assures him, even if it was far from the truth.
"Good job, you two." Bobby says as Eddie and Buck stop next to them. He glances back toward Victoria for a moment but her eyes were just on the ground.
"You're badass under pressure, brother." Eddie says as he looks toward Buck who was slightly surprised by his comment. Victoria raises an eyebrow.
"Me?"
"Yeah, him?" She asks with a small scoff, tilting her head. Buck clenches his jaw as he looked down at her.
"Bite me." Buck mumbles, shaking his head. Victoria smirks as she makes a playful biting motion toward him. Eddie just tried to ignore their interaction.
"Hell yeah. You can have my back any day." Eddie says, holding his hand out toward Buck. Buck nods his head as he grabs it, shaking the man's hand.
"Yeah, or you know, you could have mine." Buck responds as he shrugs his shoulders. Eddie smiles but Victoria groans as she tilts her head back a little bit.
"Oh, my god. Stop trying to one up the guy." She complains, not wanting to have to deal with this behaviour twenty four seven. Buck rolls his eyes, completely ignoring her comment.
"The guys a professional, cap. I was never really worried." Buck says as he looks over at Bobby. Bobby went to nod his head but the ambulance in front of them suddenly blew up, causing parts to fly everywhere.
Victoria's eyes go wide as she just looks toward the group. Everyone was shocked as well. "Cancel the robot." They hear the bomb squad guy say. Eddie claps his hands, smiling toward them.
"You guys hungry?" He asks them. The only thing they could do was stare at him as he just cleared his throat and starting making his way to the fire truck.
"Aw, missed my chance to get rid of you." Victoria jokes as she looks toward Buck who meets her gaze.
"Sometimes I wish you had a mute button." Buck responds as he starts to walk after Eddie. Victoria glares at the back of his head, kicking her foot out toward him. He just misses it as he smirks back at her before continuing to walk.

BUCK STOOD NEXT TO VICTORIA AS THEY WATCHED EDDIE TRY AND BEAT THE GAME MACHINE. "Okay, what about G.I?" Buck asks Eddie curiously. Eddie just turns his head slowly toward the man in a questionable manner. "Like G.I Joe. 'Hey, G.I.' You know, that's a great nickname." He points out. Victoria just stared at Buck with a disgusted expression on her face. That was not a good nickname. She liked the one she came up with.
"Sounds like gastrointestinal." Hen points out from across the room. Eddie nods his head in agreement.
"Yeah, I don't think so." Eddie denies as he goes back to what he was doing. Well, he was trying to but he felt Victoria pulling at his shirt.
"Let me have a turn." She complains. He hadn't allowed her to have one turn since he started.
"You're just gonna brag if you beat me." Eddie points out as he looks down at her. Victoria raises an eyebrow at him. That was kind of the whole point of playing a game.
"Okay? And you can brag if you beat me." She retorts with a shrug of her shoulders. Hen laughs from the couch, shaking her head which gained their attention.
"No he can't. You're a sore loser." Hen points out, looking over at Victoria. The woman furrows her eyebrows. She didn't agree with that at all.
"I am not." Victoria denies.
"You kind of are." Buck adds. Victoria turns her gaze toward him, an annoyed expression on her face.
"Go count your bodyย fat, probie." She mutters, gesturing for him to move along.
"You can't call me that anymore." Buck denies since he wasn't the new guy anymore. But Victoria didn't care about that one bit, she knew he hated it so that's why she would continue to say it.
"I can call you whatever I want to call you, dingus." She says as she hits him in the back of the head. Buck glares at her, rubbing the spot where she had hit.
"All right, everybody, listen up. I've got an announcement to make." Bobby says as he makes his way into the room. Victoria gasps as she places her hand on her hip.
"We actually can't afford another member on our team so we're kicking Buck off?" Victoria states hopefully with a bright smile on her face. The others chuckle while Buck narrows his eyes, nudging her arm.
"Soย funny." He mutters, shaking his head as he them proceeds to slap her on the shoulder. Victoria snaps her head toward him.
"Ow!" She responds while Buck just smirks at her, hitting her again. It wasn't actually hard enough to hurt her but it was annoying. "Hey, muscles, get himย for me." Victoria demands, glancing over at Eddie who holds his hands up in defence. He was not about to get involved.
"I thought you were stronger than him." Buck teases, raising his eyebrows. Victoria glares at him before her eyes went to the rolled up poster that was beside them. Picking it up, she starts to hit Buck with it. "Hey, hey! You can't use a weapon!" Buck denies loudly as he tries to block it. Victoria just smirks as she keeps hitting him, harder each time.
"Beat his ass, girl!" Hen cheers with a loud laugh. Eddie stands back as Victoria continues to hit Buck who was shouting out complaints. But it wasn't long before she felt someone tugging her away.
"Okay, you're standing over here with me." Bobby says, letting her go and allowing Victoria to stand up properly. She just sulks a bit, hating how he always stopped her from bullying Buck. "I just got off the phone with the peopleย from the calendar, and they have made their choice." He tells them as he glances around the group.
"Well, no hardย feelings, no matter who won." Buck says as he looks toward Eddie who nods his head.
"That's good, Buck, cause they didn't pick you." Bobby admits making Victoria let out a loud laugh. Buck just glares over toward her.
"Well, it's obviously aย fix." He says sarcastically before letting out a laugh. "No, congratulations anyway G.I!" Buck says, placing his hands on Eddie's shoulders.
"They didn't pick him either." Bobby denies, shaking his head. That all caught them off guard.
"No? You?" Buck asks, staring wide eyed at bobby. That was until his eyes shifted unconvincingly toward Victoria. "Or did they pick Vic? Because if they did, I call bullshit." He admits, raising his hand. Victoria scrunched her nose up, shaking her head.
"Ew, no. Why would I willingly allow men to exploit me? If i wanted that, I'd just go to a club." She admits with a scoff, crossing her arms against her chest.
"But you do get a lot ofย free drinks." Hen points out. Every time they went out together, Victoria always recieved free drinks from numerous people.
"That I don't drink because they could be drugged." Victoria retorts. She didn't even get to enjoy them because she was not about to open herself up to the chance of being kidnapped.
"It's not us." Bobby denies, stopping the arguing that he knew was about to break out between Victoria and Buck. His eyes then move to where Chimney was stood in the kitchen. Chimney stares back at him silently for a second.
"No way, you've gotta be kidding me." Chimey mutters, furrowing his eyebrows.
"No, congratulations, Chim." Bobby says as he makes his way over to the man. "Or should I say Mr April?" He taunts with a smirk causing everyone to immediately start celebrating.
"No way. Are you serious?" Chimney asks, still not able to tell if Bobby was joking or not.
"Chimney!" Buck shouts as they all make their way over toward the man.
"You're a calendar boy now." Bobby says as he presses his hands on Chimneys shoulders.
"Thirty days of chimney." Eddie adds with a laugh, leaning against the counter. Victoria stands next to Buck, placing her hand on his arm.
"Good, because i could not handle the ego this man would have if he won." She admits, pointing toward Buck. Buck slaps her hand away from him, playfully glaring down at her.
"You did it." Hen says as she places her hand on Chimneys shoulder. The man just smiles at her.
"Thank you." He states and she just shakes her head, obviously not wanting the credit.
"I hope I'm not interrupting anything." Athena's voice says causing them all to glance over, seeing the woman walking toward them. Bobby meets her halfway. Victoria just moves toward Hen, sharing a look with her.
And a smirk immediately forms on her face when they all see Bobby and Athena kiss. "Pay up." Hen says, instantly turning to Buck and Chimney. Victoria raises her hands in victory. Athena pulls back from Bobby, raising an eyebrow.
"You two knew?" She asks them, flickering her eyes between the women.
"Sir,ย first you two were happy at the same time, then you were both pissed off at the same time. It wasn't hard toย figure out." Hen explains. It really wasn't rocket science.
"And I just love taking Buck's money." Victoria admits with a smirk on her lips as she grabs the twenty from Buck. The man just gives her a sarcastic smile before flipping her off.
"And uh, you good with this?" Athena asks them both, a bit cautiously. Victoria glances toward Hen who just laughs.
"Girl, I'm just mad at myselfย for notย fixing you up in theย first place." Hen admits as she crosses her arms against her chest. But Victoria just narrowed her eyes, letting out a long sigh.
"You know, I don't like this." She denies, shaking her head. Athena furrows her eyebrows a bit. "You're gonna steal my precious Athena away." Victoria accuses Bobby as she points her finger at him. Bobby laughs as he smiles toward her.
Athena rolls her eyes playfully. "You know, you and Hen are already my number one." She assures the woman, wrapping her arm around Victoria. Victoria smiles as she rests her head against Athenas shoulder. She was happy for them,
At least there was one happy couple in her life, even if it wasnt herself.
