VICTORIA WALKS TO HER FRONT DOOR AFTER HEARING A KNOCK. A sigh leaves her lips as she runs a hand through her hair. Opening it, she sees Buck standing in front of her. Victoria was a bit startled as she just stared at the man. "Can we talk?" Buck asks her, his hands inside of his pockets. Victoria bites the inside of her cheek, her eyes drifting to the floor.

It wasnt like Buck actually did anything wrong, it was more that she was just scared. After losing Andy, she was very wary on the job. Whenever Kelly told her that someone got injured back in Chicago she always worried. It was just when Buck got pulled underwater, she thought the worst. Especially since she only froze, she didn't do anything to help him.

Victoria nods her head, allowing him into the apartment. As she closes the door behind them, she turns to face Buck who let out a small sigh. "Did I do something to upset you? If I crossed a boundary, please, tell me." Buck says, never wanting to make her uncomfortable.Β  Victoria glances away, shaking her head.

"You didn't do anything." She denies. Victoria had only snapped at him because she saw them getting closer and it terrified her. Buck seemed a bit confused, his eyebrows furrowing as he looked at her.

"Oh, I just thought you were mad at me." Buck retorts. Even Chimney had asked him what he did to piss her off.Β  But he couldn't think of something he did. But maybe it was something that he wasn't aware of.

"I'm..." Victoria trails off for a moment, closing her eyes briefly.Β  The team didnt really know much of her life and it wasnt like she was trying to keep it that way, she just didnt really know how to talk about it. But it was a lot of the reason why she was scared to let peoppe in. "I was just frustrated." She admits as she looks back at him. Buck nods his head slowly.

"About what?" He asks curiously. Victoria sighs, turning away. She didn't really want to get into it, especially since he would probably give her a look of pity. She hated when people did that.

"It's nothing, okay?" Victoria mutters as she crosses her arms against her chest. Buck frowns, tilting his head. He could tell there was something, but he didn't know if he should push about it or not.

"Are you sure?" Buck could see her walls going back up as she just nodded her head, forcing a smile onto her face.

"Yeah."

"So, we're all right?" Buck questions, noticing the pit in his stomach. Victoria brings her hand to his shoulder, patting it slightly.

"Yeah, probie. We're all good." Victoria replies, giving a small nod. Buck moves his eyes to the television, his eyebrows raising as he saw what she was watching.

"Is this the plan that you had? Watching the hunger games?" Buck asks with humour in his tone as he looked back at her. Victoria smirks, shrugging her shoulders.

"It is very important." She retorts and he just rolls his eyes playfully, letting out a small laugh.

"Right." Buck responds with a smile. His eyes look toward Rosies bedroom, seeing the door wide open. "Is Rosie not here?" He asks, wondering if they were alone.

"She's studying." Victoria tells him, kicking her foot against the floor. Buck puts his hands back inside of his pockets.

"Ahh, okay." Buck says, glancing back around the apartment. "Can I join?" He gestures toward the couch. Victoria bites the inside of her cheek.

"You don't have plans with Abby?" She questions curiously. Victoria saw how Buck's eyes drifted for a moment before he shook his head.

"Not tonight."

"Oh." She replies, staring at him. Victoria turns to her couch, clearing her throat a bit. "Yeah, sure." Victoria says as she makes her way over to it. Buck follows her, sitting down next to the woman. Victoria glances at him for a moment and he just sends her a small smile. She returns it but looks back at the television. She could feel his arm go behind her on the couch as he nudged himself closer to her.

Victoria just let her eyes stay on the screen, fiddling with her fingers as she tried her best to watch the movie.

β€’β€’β€’β€’

HEN WALKS NEXT TO CHIMNEY AND VICTORIA AS THEY HEAD TO THE KITCHEN. "So, have you seen that woman again? Anna?" She asks Victoria as she raises an eyebrow. Victoria sighs as she shrugs her shoulders. She didn't mind hanging around people but she didn't want to go on multiple dates, because then that may send the wrong message. They could think that she was wanting to be in a relationship with them.

"No, I don't know, I'm not really lookingΒ for anything." Victoria denies, rubbing her face a bit. Hen raises an eyebrow at her, chuckling underneath her breath as she nudges the woman.

"When are you ever?" Hen retorts making Victoria rolls her eyes a bit. She shoves Hen before looking back in front of her. She saw Buck walking over to them as well. But before she can say anything, Bobby had slammed his laptop shut.

"Woah, woah, woah. What was that all about?" Chimney asks curiously as they stop in front of the table. Bobby just stares at the group.

"What?"

"You closed your laptop as soon as we walked in here like you were hiding something." Chimney points out in an accusatory manner.

"No, i didn't." He denies, shaking his head.

"Yes, you did." Hen agrees as she crosses her arms against her chest. Bobby just continues to act innocent.

"I just took a sip of tea."Β  Bobby says but Chimney doesnt waste no time, grabbing the laptop from him. "Chim!" He warns but Chimney already at the Laptop open to whatever website Bobby was on.

"Ah-ah-ah." He turns away, reading what was on the website. "Romancing the uniform.com? That's my dating site. That's where I met Tatiana." Chimney points out making everyone's eyes widen. "Holy crap. Are you actually putting yourself back out on the scene?" He asks curiously, looking at Bobby.

"Hopefully you don't get someone as bad as Tatiana." Victoria says with a snort.Β  She couldn't handle another Tatiana.

"Hey, too soon." Chimney states with narrowed eyes as he points toward her. Victoria smirks as she tilts her head.

"My sponsor said maybe it's time." Bobby admits with a sigh leaving his lips. "I spend too much time in my work, in my head, and that dating, having a girlfriend would help me get out in the world." He explains to them. Victoria smiles as she was glad he was starting to let himself come out of his shell.

"I think it's great, you're taking the leap." Hen admits with a smile as she looks at Bobby. "It's brave. While at the moment, I think that dating or sleeping with someone is not worth the trouble, but I'm happyΒ for you." She tells him before her eyes move to Victoria. "Hey, maybe you can create a profileΒ for Vic too." She says, half joking a she smirks at the woman.

"No way in hell. I don't dateΒ firefighters." Victoria denies, shaking her head as she scrunched up her nose. Buck glances toward her, not missing the way his heart dropped.

"Is that so?" Hen asks her, raising an eyebrow. Victoria narrows her eyes with a scoff.

"Okay, Kelly and I have never dated." She points out. Plus, he was he friend so it didn't really count. Hen shakes her head, crossing her arms.

"Look, this just isn't me. I-IΒ feel like a probie stretching hisΒ first job."

"You're not a rookie, You're just rusty." Hen points out with a shrug of her shoulders. Not everyone could get back out onto the dating field so quickly.

"Last time I had a date, I was in my twenties." Bobby points out with a sigh.

"That's rough." Victoria admits as she walks over to where Buck now had the computer while sitting at the table.

"Yeah, this is terrible." Buck admits as he reads the screen. He feels arms around around his neck, a chin being placed on top of his head. He clears his throat a bit. "And this picture looks like you're trying to sell real estateΒ from a bus stop bench. And you know what? I will not be buying." Buck denies with a laugh. Victoria smiles as she rests herself against the man. "You cannot describe yourself as 'I'm a lifesaver, not a heartbreaker'." He points out, groaning a bit.

"Where does it say that?" Victoria asks, trying to see it. Buck points to where it was on the screen.Β  Victoria reads it before just letting her head drop on Bucks shoulder. "Oh...Oh no." She laughs to herself, tightening her hold on Buck.

"Why not? That's solid, it's sweet." Bobby retorts, furrowing his eyebrows.

"No, it is cheese. Sweet, sweet cheese." Buck points our as he shakes his head. Chimney stared at the screen before glancing over at Bobby.

"You likeΒ flan?" Chimney asks him.

"GoodΒ flan is the bomb."

"Do not say the bomb." Victoria denies with a groan, scrunching her nose up a bit.

"Oh he--' Buck bursts out laughing, covering his face with his hands. Victoria smiles as she looks down at him. "You have an AOL e-mail account still? It is literally like you wereΒ frozen in ember in 1995." Buck says, humour in his voice.

"It's amber not ember, you idiot." Bobby corrects him, narrowing his eyes.

"Who cares. You can never show this to a girl." Buck denies as he adjusts himself a bit, one of his hands holding onto the arms that were wrapped around his neck. Hen seemed to be the only once noticing Victoria and Buck's embrace.

"Why not?"

"Okay, this profile is a joke profileΒ for a guy no one ever wants to go out with." Buck points out, shaking his head. Victoria curves her head to be looking at the man.

"I didn't know we were looking at yours, probie." Victoria teases with a smirk on her lips. Buck tilts his head up, meeting her gaze.

"Yours probably needs to be dusted off." He retorts and she just slaps his shoulder lightly.

"You know what, maybe you are not the right person he should be taking adviceΒ from, Buckaroo." Chimney denies as he takes the computer away from Buck.

"And why is that? Because last time I checked, I'm in a stable, monogamous relationship with an amazing woman."Β Buck points out with a smirk on his face. Victoria felt her arms coming undone from around Buck, pulling them back. "I'm the healthiest dater at this whole table." He says, glancing at Victoria who had just moved over to where Hen was.

They were all silent for a moment before realizing that he was actually saying the truth. "Oh, my god. He's right." Chimney mumbles, looking at the others.

"The world has turned upside down." Hen adds, shaking her head as she crosses her arms.

"This is seriously a twisted world." Victoria says, bringing her hand to her head.

"Yeah, okay, laugh, huh?" Buck says with a scoff. "I am proof that real change is possible." He points out.

"I mean, he got Vic to like him, which was literally impossible." Chimney points out with a laugh, gesturing to Victoria.

"Who says I like him?" Victoria retorts with a raise of her eyebrow. Buck rolls his eyes playfully, opening his mouth to say something back.

"What the hell, Evan Buckley?" A woman asks, interrupting the conversation. Buck turns to her, staring at her and trying to understand who she was.

"Can we help you?" Bobby asks curiously, glancing at the others.

"You lead me onΒ for six weeks? The sexiest, deepest, most romantic, most intimate relationship that I've ever had with a man-- I told you everything. You told me everything and I am not an easy not to crack." The woman explains as Victoria raises her eyebrows. Her eyes move to buck who was just staring at her with a confused expression. "Is this your sick game? Make a girl reveal every fear and secret and turn-on, and then just disappear? Is ghosting girls your thing?" She asks him, crossing her arms against her chest.

"I'm sorry, are you sure you have the right Evan Buckley?" Bobby asks curiously, furrowing his eyebrows as no one had any idea what was going on.

"You mean the Evan Buckley who's aΒ firefighter? Who works here and was on the news, and climbed a rollercoaster and looks exactly like you?" She asks with a scoff, glaring up at Buck.

"Listen, yeah, that is definitely me. But the-the me that I am, and the him that you're describing, that is not the same person." He denies, trying to let her down gently. But the woman just slaps him across the face. Victoria's jaw drops and she covers her mouth as a laugh escapes.

She storms out of the firehouse, Buck's eyes wide as he was left standing in shock. He had no idea what had just happened. "You see that.." he starts to say, turning to the others but being met with certain glances. "No, no. I swear, I have never seen her before." Buck tells them, placing his hand on his chest.

"If you say so." Bobby says, getting up from his seat, clearly not believing him. Buck frowns as he shakes his head, pointing at the stairs.

"No, i do say so. Okay, I swear, i don't know who that was." He denies, looking around the group. Victoria only raises an eyebrow. It wouldn't surprise her if he had just forgotten about her.

"Whatever you say." She tells him, leaning back against her chair. But it seemed Buck was getting annoyed that they weren't believing what he said.

Β "I-I have found real intimacy. Right, you know this, come on. I haven't evenΒ flirted with anyone else." Buck states as he shakes his head. Hen could only stare at him, her eyes flickering to Victoria for a moment.

Did he not think that some of the things he said to Victoria were considered flirting? But maybe he was just oblivious to it, the same way Victoria was. Neither of them saw the tension between them but Hen did. She just gets up, patting the man on his shoulder.

"Yep, you're proof that real change is possible."

β€’β€’β€’β€’

SITTING ON THE COUCH, Victoria tried to focus on the show that was on the television but she could feel eyes on her. Hen had practically been staring into her soul for the past hour. Victoria didnt know why but if Hen didnt say something soon, she would go crazy. Turning her eyes to meet Hen's gaze, Victoria raises her eyebrows at the woman. "What?" She asks with a sigh, crossing her arms against her chest.

Hen seemed to have a dilemma, debating in her mind whether to say something or not. But she had to bring it up, especially because of the news she heard today. "Okay, seriously. What is going on between you and Buck?" Hen questions her. Victoria was taken aback by the question, mainly because of the insinuation that came with it.

Victoria didn't know how Hen had come up with it. What gave her any sort of reason to say that she was dating Buck? He was with Abby and it was very clear that Victoria and Buck were just friends. They acted like it. So, why did Hen suddenly ask if something was happening between them? Victoria would never be the other woman in a relationship.

"Nothing." Victoria denies with a scoff, shaking her head. She was somewhat angry at Hen for suggesting it. "Why would you even think that?" She asks, somewhat curious but her jaw clenched in the process. Hen rolls her eyes, obviously seeing something that she wasn't.

"Oh, come on. The way you had your arms around him earlier." She states, just pointing out that one thing. Hen could say a million things, it still wouldn't click in Victoria's mind. Victoria had to think for a moment, trying to remember even doing that.

Then she remembered that she was wrapped around Buck when he was looking at Bobby's computer. "I hang around Chimney like that. Am I sleeping with him too?" Victoria retorts with a sigh, tilting her head. If that was her only evidence, it was literally nothing.

"There's tension." Hen tells her. Victoria just stares at her for a moment. How would she even see that? And if there was tension between her and Buck, surely she would see it and distance herself. Victoria didn't feel any sort of way toward the man. Not that she knew of.

"I think I would know." Victoria replies, rubbing her face a bit. She didn't know why Hen was so stuck on this. Any time that she did anything with Buck, Hen was always there to question her about it.

"You don't get butterflies when you're around him?"

"If I ever feel butterflies around the probie, please take a Halligan to my head." Victoria mutters as she rolls her eyes a bit. She would sooner die than give into Buck's supposed 'charm'. Whatever it was, it didn't work on her.

But to anyone elses eyes, it did. For Hen, anytime she looked at them, the way they were gazing at each spoke a different language. And basically screamed that they felt something for the other. Clearly it didn't seem to resonate with either of then.

Hen lets out a sigh, crossing her arms. "Well, fine. But he likes you." She admits. Solely based on the Buck's face when Kelly had visited, told her all that she needed to know. He was jealous. And the only reason why he woukd be jealous, is if he liked her.

Victoria groans, leaning back against the couch. Why would Buck like her? They've barely talked until recently.Β  "He's with Abby." She points out. That was the most important fact there was. Buck couldn't possibly like her when he already had Abby.

Hen stares at her for a moment. Did she not know about what was going on? "Maybe not anymore." Hen states, shrugging her shoulders. Victoria furrows her eyebrows, confused on what she meant.

"What?"

"Abbys going to Europe." Hen tells her. Victoria was silent for a second. Abby was leaving the country? For how long? Did that mean that she had broken up with Buck? For some reason, she felt a sort of glee fill her up. Victoria didn't particularly like Abby though, so that was probably the reason why.

"Oh." Victoria did feel bad for Buck though. It seemed like they were just getting somewhere and she just packs up and leaves him.

"And come on, he flirts constantly. " Hen points out. Buck didn't even realize it himself. But when he said he hadn't flirted with a girl since getting with Abby, he was lying. Because he flirted with Victoria, even if didn't mean to.

"No, he doesn't." She denies, shaking her head. Victoria would notice if a man was flirting with her because seriously, there were some bad flirts out there.

"Maybe you're just blind to it but you do flirt back." Hen states. All Victoria could do was roll her eyes.

"What do you classify as flirting?" Victoria asks, maybe she was doing things that Hen thought were flirting but she didn't. But Victoria cannot think of an instance where she would flirt with Buck.

"The little touches, teasing each other, the way you look at each other." Hen lists out, counting them on her fingers. Victoria laughs, raising her eyebrows. She was finding the whole conversation amusing.

"You're delirious." Victoria says, shaking her head.

"And you're hopeless." Hen retorts, tilting her head. Victoria stares at her, biting the inside of her cheek.

"You want me to get back out on the dating scene by dating Buck?" Victoria asks, narrowing her eyes. She went from not even liking Buck, to wanting them to be just friends, to now pushing them to date.

Hen widens her eyes, shaking her head. It wasn't like she'd oppose them dating, she just thought Victoria could do a bit better than Mr playboy. "No, never said that. I just said there's something between you." She corrects, pointing her finger. Victoria nods her head slowly.

"Right." Victoria mutters, sitting up a bit on the couch before standing up. "I'm gonna leave you to ponder that insane thought." She states as she grabs her jacket from beside her. Hen rolls her eyes, crossing her arms.

"Fine. But when I'm right, I will definitely say 'I told you so'." Hen tells her. She was always right about this sort of thing, and she wasn't about to be wrong for the first time. Victoria only glances at her, pressing her lips together tightly.

"Mhm." She hums, shaking her head as she heads toward the door. Hen seemed to want to stop her but doesn't. So, she just watches as Victoria left the house. Hen didn't know if she had gotten anywhere, or made her open her eyes to everything. But either way, she knew something would eventually happen between them. Once they both admitted their feelings.

Victoria never let herself open up though. So, maybe it would never happen. Maybe she would keep acting oblivious. Or maybe, she would finally find another love in the person she never thought possible.

β€’β€’β€’β€’

VICTORIA HAD BEEN THINKING ABOUT HER CONVERSATION WITH HEN ALL THE WAY BACK TO HER APARTMENT. She couldnt help it. Maybe Hen had some good points about their behaviour, but Victoria still couldnt see Buck ever liking her. Sure, he'd made some comments toward her but that was in a teasing way. Everyone teased their friends, even harmless flirting was a thing. Nothing that would ever actually become true.

Even looking at Buck's behavior, maybe she was indeed blind but she didn't see what Hen saw. It could possibly be because she has just started letting him in. Victoria didn't want to delve deeper though because maybe she would see the truth. But the truth was, Buck was in a relationship and she wasn't going to mess that up because of something that may or may not be true. Especially when she wasn't even ready to be in a relationship herself.

Unlocking her apartment door, she opens it, walking inside. Victoria is immediately met with an unpleasant burning smell making her furrow her eyebrows. Closing the door behind her, she walks through the apartment until she sees her sister and Jennie in the kitchen. There was smoke coming from the tray they had on the counter and all the windows had been opened.

"Hey, girls." She announced, gaining their attention. Jennie smiles over at her, continuing to try and waft the smoke out of the air.

"Hi, Vic."

"What are you guys doing?" Victoria asks them, glancing over the counter where she seems some very disturbed looking cookies. Roseanne clears her throat, gesturing to the tray.

"Baking cookies." Jennie responds. Victoria just raises her eyebrows. They were certainly doing something.

"And failing miserably." Roseanne adds, placing her hands on her hips.

"Hey, these instructions are not clear." Jennie points out as she crosses her arms against her chest. Roseanne just rolls her eyes a bit, looking at the girl.

"Says the girl who added a tablespoon of salt instead of a teaspoon." She retorts, gesturing to the salt. Jennie just meets Roseanne's gaze.

"Whatever, I blame the book." Jennie mumbles as she shrugs her shoulders. They should make the instructions better or even just bigger than they were in the stupid book.

"Please do not start a fire in my apartment." She pleads, not really wanting to have to report fire damage because that would be embarrassing.

"That would set a bad example." Roseanne states with a small laugh. Victoria shakes her head with a small smile on her lips.

"Have you guys done your homework?" Victoria asks them curiously. They both share a glance before looking away from the older woman. Victoria sighs, placing a hand on her hip. "You know it's homework before anything else." She scolds, mainly looking at her sister who let's out a groan.

"We were just hungry and making a snack." Roseanne admits. They were gonna do their homework but they thought baking cookies would be more fun. It was funny when they realized how much they messed up.

"Then grab some chips." Victoria retorts. It would've been an easier alternative that didn't involve burning something.

"Could you make us cookies?" Jennie asks, twisting in her spot for a moment. Victoria tilts her head.

"I see the reason why Jennie is asking me." She says, raising an eyebrow at her sister who shrugs her shoulders. They both knew that if Jennie asked, the answer was most likely yes.

"Please." Roseanne and Jennie both place pouts on their lips, clasping their hands together. Victoria stares at them before a sigh leaves her lips.

"Fine, if you two start your homework, I'll make the cookies." Victoria agrees as she moves toward the kitchen, ushering the girls out. She would have to clean up their mess before she even started on a new batch though.

"You're the best!" Roseanne tells her with a huge smile on her face. Victoria returns it but she rolls her eyes playfully.

"Seriously,Β  my mom would shove my textbook in my face." Jennie admits with a small scoff, placing her hands on her hips.

"How was work?" Roseanne asks her sister curiously. Victoria sighs, moving further into the kitchen.

"It was fine. Some girl slapped Buck." She admits, making both of their eyes go wide.

"What?" Roseanne practically shouts.

"Oh, my god. Drama. You better spill." Jennie says with a smirk, resting her arms on the counter. Victoria laughs a bit, shaking her head.

"Some guy was pretending to be Buck online and catfished all of these girls. One got angry that he wasn't responding so she came to the station." She explains to them, it not being half as exciting as what they were expecting. Jennie scrunched up her nose, pressing her lips together tightly.

"That's actually kind of sad." Jennie states with a sigh and Victoria nods her head.

"Yeah."

As the girls made their way to the table, they say down. But it didn't take long for the conversation to start up again. "Hen told me Buck's girlfriend broke up with him." Roseanne states, changing the subject with a smirk growing on her lips.

"She did, did she?" Victoria asks, narrowing her eyes a bit. She woukd have to kill Hen later. "Well, she didn't. She's just going on a trip." She corrects them but both of the girls didn't seem to really believe her. More believe the fact that they hadn't broken up. Because hen had told them about the trip too and it would just make sense to break up.

"Right, a trip." Roseanne responds, making quotation marks with her fingers.

"With sexy European men." Jennie adds, wiggling her eyebrows with a smirk on her lips. You don't go on a long trip, alone and not experiment with people.

"You should totally swoop in, take your chance." Roseanne states, knowing she would deny it but it didn't hurt telling her. It was clear that she wasn't going to go for it on her own.

"It's not like he wouldn't jump at the opportunity. You're smoking hot." Jennie points out, gesturing to the woman. Victoria shakes her head, scolding both of them.

"Hey, don't say that, okay?" She responds, looking at the teenagers. "Focus on your work." Victoria says, pointing at their papers.

"Im just saying, he totally likes you." Jennie states. Anyone could see how Buck looked at her. And when Victoria denied him being her boyfriend, he looked a little bit hurt.

"And you two looked cute on the couch together." Roseanne points out as she shrugs her shoulders. She was already clinging to him in her sleep, they were basically a couple.

"Right, because that's a reason to ruin a relationship." Victoria retorts as she shakes her head. Jennie rolls her eyes with a small groan.

"Oh, come on. She's totally gonna cheat on him. He deserves better." Jennie tells her with a shrug. They all knew it was going to happen. Maybe not Buck, but everybody else.

"But you're suggesting the same thing." Victoria points out, furrowing her eyebrows.

"Make yourself available to him, he'll call off his long distance thing and boom, cute couple together." Jennie explains to her, gesturing it with her hands.

"Except one thing." Victoria start, placing her hands on her hips. "I don't like him that way." She denies, putting a knife in their seemingly master plan.

"He's fucking hot though." Jennie states with a scoff. She wouldn't blame Victoria if she jumped his bones the moment he told her he was single. Victoria gives her a slight glare.

"Jennie." Victoria scolds her and Jennie presses her lips together tightly.

"Sorry." She apologized, bringing her eyes back to her paper. "But it's true." Jennie mumbles as she picks up her pen. Victoria glances back over at her.

"It is." Roseanne adds, agreeing as she nods her head. Victoria just rolls her eyes, a bit annoyed.

"Homework. Now." She demands, giving them a stern expression. They don't dare to speak again, even though they knew what they'd say if they did. Victoria didn't understand why everyone was saying that Buck liked her. She just didn't see it.

And she's sure that if asked the question, Buck would deny it as well.

β€’β€’β€’β€’

GETTING INSIDE THE FIRESTATION AFTER HER RUN, Victoria walks through the apparatus floor, running a hand down her neck. She steadies her breathing, heading toward the lockeroom in order to grab her uniform and hit the shower. As she walks into the room, she sees that Buck is already sat on the bench. She stops herself, glancing behind her. There werent many people here yet so they were free to speak alone.

Clearing her throat, she gained his attention. Buck glances toward the door, seeing that it was Victoria. She just smiles, sending a small wave. "Hey." Victoria says, walking into the room. Buck rubs his face a bit.

"Hey."

"I heard about uh, about Abby." Victoria tells him hesitantly. She makes her way over to her locker, opening it. Buck nods his head.

"Yeah, she's taking a trip." Buck responds, he knew Hen would tell everyone the moment she found out.

"For how long?" She asks curiously, even though she knew the answer. Buck shrugs his shoulders and she could see some kind of pain in his eyes.

"She doesn't really know."

"But you're still together?" Victoria questions. She saw how Buck's face turned into one of confusion as he stared at her.

"Why wouldn't we be?" Buck asks, wondering why she would ask him that.

"No, I didn't mean it like that." Victoria denies, fiddling with her fingers. "Just usually when one goes to Europe... you're either with someone or you're single." She points out. Victoria didn't mean to let Jennie and Roseanne into her head but it was hard to think any other way.

"God, you're like Hen." Buck states with a scoff, rolling his eyes as he looks away from her.

"I just don't want you to get hurt." She admits with a frown. She didn't mean to make him upset, she just wanted to look out for him.

"She won't hurt me." He almost snaps at her, his jaw clenched. Victoria nods her head, pressing her lips together tightly.

"Okay."

It was silent for a moment as Buck stared at his hands and Victoria just grabbed her uniform and things for her shower. "You think she'll cheat on me?" Buck asks, almost inaudible. Victoria turns back to face him, a sigh leaving her lips.

"I don't know, Buck. I hope not." She admits, not wanting Buck to get hurt that way. She'd rather it ended mutually for them.

"This was my first real relationship, you know? I don't want to end it just because she's going to another country."

"Then don't." Victoria says, biting the inside of her cheek. Did she want him to stay with Abby necessarily? No way. She hated the woman, but for right now it would be fine. "I didn't mean to put doubt in your head. Do what you feel is right." She states, not wanting him to break up with Abby just because of what she said.

"What about you? Are you gonna finally open up to someone?" Buck asks, a slight bit of hopefulness in his tone. But it disappears the moment she shakes her head.

"No, I just feel like i should just be by myself for a while. Until i can truly trust myself with someone." She explains to him with a soft smile. Victoria didn't notice the way Buck seemed defeated by her answer.

"Oh." He replies, fiddling with his fingers before putting a smile on his face. "Yeah, that sounds like a good thing to do." Buck admits, nodding his head.

"That's if Hen and Athena don't force me on a blind date." Victoria says with a laugh, knowing it was gonna happen sooner than later. Buck tightens his smile, dropping his eyes. "I'm gonna hit the shower." She says, patting his shoulder before moving past him.

Buck could only stare down at his hands, a sigh leaving his lips. He didn't know why he thought her answer would be any different. Victoria didn't seem to want to be in a relationship anytime soon. He didn't know if it was because of something that happened, or if it was just a decision she made. Either way, she said she wouldn't even date a firefighter.

Bobby walks past the locker room, glancing toward it. But he stops when he notices buck. His eyebrows furrow as he moves toward the door, seeing how Buck was deep in thought. Knocking on the doorframe, he catches Buck's attention. "Everything okay?" Bobby questions,Β  a bit concerned for the man. Buck nods his head, resting his arms on his knees.

"Yeah, why wouldn't it be?" Buck asks him, even though he knew his face was giving it all away.

"Just seems like your contemplating something." Bobby points out as he moves in front of the man. Buck shakes his head, rubbing the back of his neck.

"It's nothing." He denied, although it wasn't nothing. Buck couldn't shake the thought of Victoria out of his head. And it seemed to put some doubt in his mind. Doubt about Abby. Doubt about his feelings for her.

"Well, if you need to get something off of your chest, you can trust me." Bobby assures him. Buck knew that, he knew Bobby would keep what he said to himself. But it was just admitting it to himself which was the hardest part.

"I just..." Buck starts, a small sigh leaving his lips. "How do you know?" He asks curiously. Bobby furrows his eyebrows, staring down at the man.

"Know what?"

"Who the right person is?" Buck elaborates. Bobby softly smiles, just listening to what he had to say. "I mean, is it a feeling, is it something they say? How can you tell?" He wanted to know because he wanted to figure out what the hell was going on inside of his head. It seemed he would never know.

"I think when you know, you just know." Bobby admits, tilting his head. It may seem confusing but it really isn't. If you truly knew they were the one, you wouldn't be asking someone. "There is no questioning it." He states. You wouldn't question the person you love if you truly loved them.

"Are you thinking Abby may not be it?" Bobby asks him, raising an eyebrow. It wasn't like they were together long but it was his first stable relationship.Β  Although, that didn't always mean it would last very long.

"I don't know." Buck says with a sigh, rubbing his face. Bobby moves over to him, placing a hand on his shoulder and squeezing it. That right there, showed what Buck was feeling in that exact moment.

"If you don't know, then you've already answered your own question."
