VICTORIA SIGHS AS SHE KNOCKS ON HER SISTERS BEDROOM DOOR. Hearing nothing from the other side, she opens it, peeking her head inside. Victoria saw Rosie laid on her bed, faced away from her. "Rosie, are you awake?" She asks curiously as she walks over to the curtains in order to open the blinds. She hears Rosie let out a groan as the light shines in the room.

"Mhm."

"Well, I gotta leave early so get ready." Victoria tells her as she crosses her arms against her chest. Rosie sighs as she slightly opens her eyes.

"Give me five more minutes." She responds, turning her back toward Victoria who rolls her eyes a bit.

"You got two." Victoria tells her before heading out of the bedroom. She hears a knock on the door which just makes her groan. Who needed something so early in the morning? As she walks over to the front door, she opens it, seeing that it was Hen. "Hey." She says with a smile, but she was a bit confused why she was here.

"Hey." Hen responds as she moves past the woman, heading inside of the apartment. Victoria furrows her eyebrows, closing the door and turning to look at Hen.

"What are you doing here?" Victoria asks as she places her hands on her hips.

"I just needed to talk before work." Hen admits and Victoria nods her head.

"Okay, about what?"

"Remember me talking about Eva?" Hen asks curiously which automatically makes Victoria a bit suspicious. She definitely did remember Eva, the woman was seriously crazy, Victoria was surprised Hen was ever with her.

"That bitch? Yeah." She responds as she leans against the counter. Hen sighs as she glances down toward the ground.

"Well, she wants to see me." Hen admits which makes Victoria furrow her eyebrows.

"She's still in prison, right?" She asks curiously, not really a big fan of where this conversation was going. Hen nods her head, a sigh leaving her lips.

"Yeah."

"You don't owe her anything. " Victoria denies, knowing Hen was probably at a cross about it but Eva didn't deserve any sort of visit.

"I know, but should I just hear what she has to say?"

"You mean more lies?" Victoria asks her with a slight scoff. All Eva did was lie and cause Hen pain. "Hen, that woman will only bring more drama into your life." She admits, not wanting Hen to go into a hole especially by Eva. Hen groans as she brings her hands to her face.

"God, I know. It's just.." She trails off, shaking her head. Hen didn't know what to do and she knew Karen would not like the idea at all.

"Look, it's your decision. But I don't think you should see her." Victoria says, not wanting to tell the woman what to do but also not wanting to support such a terrible idea.

The door opens beside them and Rosie walks out, having pulled on probably the first clothes she saw. "Hey, Rosie." Hen says with a small smile on her face. Rosie smiles back at her, offering a little wave.

"Hey, Hen." Rosie responds as she walks over to them. "What are you guys talking about?" She asks curiously and Hen and Victoria just share a glance.

"Work." Hen answers her and Rosie nods her head before looking over at Victoria.

"Oh, I forgot. Friday is a half day." Rosie tells her, not wanting to be stranded at the school. Victoria sighs, rubbing her face as she nods her head.

"Right, yeah. I'll ask Bobby if you can hang around the firehouse, unless Jennie's mom can give you a ride." She responds as she couldn't really leave in the middle of her shift.

"I'll ask." Rosie says, knowing Jennie most likely will just let her come regardless if he mom says yes.

"Come on, lets get going." Victoria tells her, looking over at Hen who nods her head.

"Can I grab breakfast?" Rosie asks curiously, looking towards the kitchen but Victoria only raises an eyebrow at her.

"We'll get something on the way." She tells her, gesturing towards the door. Rosie sighs but grabs her bag, heading towards the door, Hen and Victoria following after.

"SIXTEEN D.O.A'S SO FAR. Most blunt trauma to the head or crushed by falling debris or other bodies. One victim impaled." Buck tells them as they look around the wedding venue that had collapsed. There were a lot of injured who were still trapped but it was pretty unstable.

"They fell through two stories. I won't be surprised when the number goes higher." Bobby admits with a sigh as he looks up through the hole in the floors.

"Captain, the groom is devastated. His bride hasn't been accounted for yet." Hen tells him with a sigh as she stops next to them.

"We'll find her." Bobby replies before looking towards Buck.ย  "Buck, I'm gonna need you to go up top. Access to the second floor is blocked. We're gonna have to tackle this thing from both ends." He explains to him as the man nods his head.

"Okay, Captain."

"Vic, go with him." He tells her and Victoria nods her head, following after the man. As they make their way to the top, Buck looks over at her.

"You notice how Bobby always teams us up together?" Buck asks her curiously while Victoria was just trying to focus on what she was doing.

"Probably to make me suffer." She retorts as she takes out the rope in order to be able to go down to the second floor.

"Ouch." Buck says as he puts his hand against his chest. Victoria rolls her eyes as she just shakes her head.

"Just clip yourself in." Victoria tells him as she lets out a sigh. Buck does what he was told, his eyes moving over to Victoria who's line wasn't completely clipped in.

"Oh, you're not secure."ย  He tells her as he moves over towards her but she just stares at him.

"I got it." She states as she reclips the rope in.

"You good?" Buck asks him as she just nods her head, pulling on the rope.

"Yep." Victoria says as she clears her throat. They both move to the edge in order to lower down onto the broken floor.

"Help! Down here!" They hear someone calling them. They look down to see that a victim was on the ground, holding his leg.

"I got you." Buck says as they reach the man, pulling him away from the edge. The man groans out in pain.

"My leg. I think its broken."

"Okay, you hang tight." Buck tells him as he takes the med bag off of his shoulder.

"You're gonna be okay." Victoria tells him as she starts accessing the man's leg. But her and Buck both move at the same time, causing her to just raise an eyebrow at him.

"Sorry." Buck apologizes, moving slightly so she can get closer.

"You're taking up my air." Victoria mumbles as she starts to make a splint. Buck rolls his eyes as he looks at the woman.

"I'm not even standing that close to you." He denies but she just meets his gaze, narrowing her eyes.

"Mhm, then how do I know that you had a cheeseburger for lunch?" Victoria asks him, raising her eyebrows. Buck just stares at her, slowly moving further back. She just shakes her head as she turns back to the victim.

Buck clears his throat as he moves the backboard over to then. They get him onto it and get him sent down to the bottom floor and onto a gurney. When they get to the first floor, they see Bobby gesturing them over.

"Buck, Vic. Get over here and give me a hand." Bobby calls and they both rush over, seeing the bride was trapped in some of the rubble.

"Savita!" The husband yells as he tries to get a better view but is blocked. Buck tries to look through the opening.

"She's not moving." Buck denies as he leans over to try and grab a hold of the woman.

"All right, is she breathing?" Bobby asks him and Buck nods his head.

"I think so." He says as they watch Savita stir slightly. "She's coming to." Buck tells them as the woman stares at them, clearly confused.

"You're all right, we're gonna get you out." Victoria tells her with a soft smile, knowing she needed to stay calm.

"Hold on. Stay still. Stay still in there." Bobby tells her, not needing anything to come crumbling down on her.ย  "Here, here. We got you. Give me your hand." He says as he holds his hand out for her.

"We got you." Victoria assures her as they all help the woman climb out of the rubble.

"Easy, watch your head." Bobby says, helping her duck before finally getting her out. They pass her to the paramedics as Bobby looks around the room. "Is the owner here?" He asks and Hen nods her head.

"That's him right there, why?" She asks him, furrowing her eyebrows. But Bobby didn't reply, only making his way over to the man.

"Hey, what did you put on the third floor?" Bobby questions as he quicks part of the roof that had collapsed. "What did you put on the third floor? You think I don't know what that is?" He asks, his voice getting angrier.

"What's the matter with you?" The man asks with a slight scoff.

"That's kal-pal. That stuffs been banned. You didn't reinforce the concrete with steel. Instead you used that crap." Bobby accuses as he takes a step closer to the man who just stares back at him. "This used to be a two story building. That floor that collapsed was the roof, wasnt it? Wasn't it?" He asks and Victoria shares a look with Hen, both of them beading over.

"Bobby!" Hen shouts, trying to get his attention. But Bobby only grabs the man's jacket.

"You know what you did, you son of a bitch! You're going to jail, that's manslaughter!" Bobby tells him as both Victoria and Hen grab a hold of him in order to pull him away.

"Captain! Captain, step away." Hen demands as the building owner rushes away. "What's wrong with you?" She asks him, wondering why the hell is was acting so crazy.

"Back off, Hen." Bobby snaps at her which makes Victoria's eyes widen as she just watches them.

"Back off, really? Not twenty four hours ago, you were saying 'help'. What happened to that?" Hen asks him with a scoff as she crosses her arms against her chest. Bobby just walks past them, clearly angry. Buck moves over to them, looking around.

"So this wedding, it was an arranged marriage. Can you imagine committing to someone you don't even know?" He asks them and Victoria just slowly turns her head towards him.

"Read the room, probie." Victoria tells him, shaking her head as he had the worst timing. Hen just sighs as she looks in front of her.

"Does anyone really know anybody?"

โ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ข

VICTORIA WAS SAT AT THE TABLE, her eyes flickering between hen and bobby who had basically been ignoring each other since the call at the wedding. Victoria didnt want to make things worse so she had just stayed quiet as well. "Oh, it is a beautiful day, Henrietta. My love." Buck says as he walks up the stairs with the biggest smile on his face. They all just look at him weirdly.

"Call me Henrietta again, you're going over the balcony." Hen threatens as she glares at him. Buck just ignores her as he moves over to Victoria. What shocks her the most is when he places a kiss on her cheek.

"Victoria, always a pleasure to see you." Buck tells her as he pulls away. Victoria scrunched her nose up, wiping at her cheek as she just narrows her eyes at him.

"Okay, who are you and what have you done with probie?" Victoria questions him, not liking him being all bright and shiny.

"Bobby. My Captain, my handsome Captain." Buck only continues his crazy rant as he makes his way over to the man.

"What are you, high?" Bobby asks him.

"Definitely is." Victoria says with a nod of her head.

"No, I'm not high. I met a woman. Two, actually." Buck tells them and Victoria just furrows her eyebrows. "I met a woman and her mother and I didn't have sex with either of them." He admits and she just rolls her eyes. Victoria didn't really know what he was talking about but she also didn't want to know. "Ooh, why is it so cold In here?" Buck asks him as he looks between Bobby and Hen.

"Hey, Vic!" She hears, making her turn her head to see another firefighter heading their way.

"Yeah?"

"There's a guy on the apparatus floor looking for you." He tells her which makes her a bit confused. No one really visited her at the firehouse apart from Rosie.

"Ooh, an ex hookup looking for another date?" Hen suggests as she wiggles her eyebrows at the woman. Victoria rolls her eyes as she stands up from the table.

"Shut up."

"You don't have any other friends so I know it's true." Hen teases her which only makes the woman flip her off. Victoria turns back, heading down the stairs.

As she makes it halfway down, she notices that it was Kelly who was waiting for her near the trucks. Victoria stops, a scoff leaving her lips as a smile form's. "You're kidding." She says as she shakes her head, the man looking up at her and holding out his arms.

"I told you I'd come, didn't I?" Kelly responds and she just smirks as she makes her way down the rest of the stairs, heading toward him.

"You motherfucker." Victoria says, hitting his chest as she stops in front of him. The man just laughs as he smiles down at her. "Come here." She pulls him into a hug, holding him close. Kelly returns it, resting his chin on top of her head.

"It's so good to see you."Kelly tells her as they pull away fromย  each other.

"Yeah."

"So, are you going to introduce us?" She hears from beside her, seeing Bobby, Buck and Hen all waiting for them to acknowledge.

"Oh, right." Victoria says as she turns towards them. "Guys, this is Kelly Severide. He and I worked together back in Chicago." She tells them as she gestures towards the man. Kelly chuckles, raising his eyebrows.

"Correction, I was in charge of her." Kelly states, looking down at the woman who only shakes her head.

"Casey was in charge of me, not you." She corrects him which makes him only roll his eyes playfully. "This is Buck, Bobby and Hen."ย  Victoria introduces after a moment, pointing at each of them.

"Hen, she talks a lot about you." Kelly admits as he looks toward the woman. Hen smirks, tilting her head a bit as she glances at Victoria.

"Well, obviously." Victoria shakes her head, laughing lightly before looking back at Kelly.

"Chimney is still out." She tells him and he nods his head slowly.

"Why do they call him Chimney?"

"Don't ask." Hen denies as she shakes her head. Kelly raises his eyebrows but doesn't press more on the topic.

"Well, it's nice to meet you." Kelly tells them with a smile which they all return.

"Yeah, likewise." Bobby responds and Kelly just moves across the apparatus floor with Victoria. As Buck watches them, he was still a bit confused on how close the two were.

"So, you know who that is?" Buck questions, wondering if Hen had known who the man was before he showed up.

"Oh, yeah. She always talks about him." Hen states as she shrugs her shoulders. Buck just snaps his head to her, a bit shocked.

"She does?" Buck asks, not having heard about him before. But Victoria didn't really tell him much.

"Mhm." Hen hums as she watches them, tilting her head. "Definitely as good looking as she said he was. And I'm gay."ย  She says with a smirk before walking away. Buck frowns, furrowing his eyebrows as he watches Hen before his eyes move back to Victoria.

She was laughing at something Kelly had said to her, her hand placed on his arm. And he couldn't help but notice the way Kelly was holding her waist. Buck didn't know why his stomach twisted, his jaw clenching. He just shakes his head, deciding to head back up to the kitchen.

THEY FOLLOWED THE MANAGER INTO THE CAR WASH, listening to him explain what happened. "I've told him a million times, wait for everything to be shut off before you hose down the place. But does he listen? No. He doesn't listen and you know what happens? This. This is what happens." He tells them with a scoff, shaking his head. They see the employee wrapped up in the brush, a groan leaving his lips.

"Sir, can you hear me?" Hen asks the man who seemed a bit out of it but conscious.

"Um, yeah."

"Does anything feel broken?" She asks him but the man shakes his head. Bobby goes to help him but Hen stops him. "Uh, do you want to maybe wait until I decide he's okay to be moved?" Hen questions, staring harshly at him. Bobby only stares back at her.

"Be glad when Chimney gets back." Bobby mutters making Hen scoff at him.

"Yeah, we'll all be glad for that." Hen responds making Victoria just roll her eyes. She didn't care when they were like this in the firehouse but they were on a call.

"Can we just help the victim?" She asks them, raising her eyebrows at them.

"Yeah." Hen mumbles, moving toward the victim.

As they get him to the ambulance,ย  Hen closes the doors before turning to Victoria. "So, that is the Kelly Severide you always talk about." She asks, a small smirk forming as she raises an eyebrow at Victoria. Victoria rolls her eyes, shaking her head.

"I don't always talk about him."

"You mention him everytime you have bad sex cause you say he's a God at it." Hen points out, laughing lightly.

"Well, I'm not wrong." Victoria responds with a smirk on her lips. Kelly was very good at what he did and he was very attractive. They just never really had a relationship aura between them.

"He is very pretty." Hen admits as she crosses her arms. Victoria turns her head as she hears Buck's loud laugh coming from inside the store.

"What is he doing?" She asks curiously and Hen shrugs her shoulders. They make their way inside with Bobby, seeing Buck watching a video while laughing his head off.

"Run it again." Buck tells the manager as the group stops beside him.

"Buck, what are you doing?" Bobby asks him curiously.

"This is a good one. You got to see this." He states as he looks at them. "All right. Play the tape. Come on, one more time." Buck tells the manager who just plays the video. "Wait for it, wait for it." Buck says and they just watch the video, seeing how the employee ended up in the brush.

Victoria bursts out laughing as well as Buck as they watch the video. He clings onto her, trying to catch his breath. "Buck, that man could've been seriously injured." Bobby scolds him but there was a hint of a smile on his lips.

"Look, this is so... unprofessional." Hen breaks, laughing loudly as she leans forward. Bobby looks down at her, raising his eyebrows. "I'm not laughing." She denies as she covers her mouth. Victoria was almost on the floor as she was holding her stomach.

"No, look at him!" Victoria points at the screen, her laugh only increasing. Buck hits her arm.

"Watch this part." He tells her, seeing how the brush only speeds up. Victoria leans against him, not being able to breath as her stomach clenches. Bobby shakes his head, chuckling lightly.

"Okay, okay. Let's head back to the truck." Bobby tells them, gesturing towards the door. Victoria wipes the tears that left her eyes, heading outside.

"God, I haven't seen something that funny in ages." She admits as Buck follows after her.

"Hey, so um..." Buck starts as they stop beside the truck. Victoria just looks toward him. "What's your old lieutenant doing here?" He asks curiously, crossing his arms against his chest. Victoria furrows her eyebrows.

"Visiting?" She responds, not understanding what he was implying. "And he's my friend." Victoria admits as she shrugs her shoulders.

"Right, but he is also your old boss." Buck points out, knowing she could be friends with him but she hadn't really mentioned him much.

"Technically not, I was on truck, he was the squad lieutenant." Victoria explains with a slight sigh.

"Right. So, he flew all the way from Chicago just to visit?"

"Why are you trying to make it seem like there's more to it?" Victoria asks him, tilting her head.

"I'm not." Buck denies as he shrugs his shoulders. "I just saw the way he gripped your waist. Friends don't normally do that." He admits, trying not to show jealousy in his eyes. Victoria just sighs, not seeing what Buck was trying to say.

"He's a good friend." She replies as she leans against the truck. Buck watches her for a moment before something clicks in his mind.

"Oh, I see."

"Get your head out of the gutter, probie. I never dated him." Victoria denies as she slaps the back of his head. He groans lightly, rubbing it.

"So, you slept with him?" Buck asks her, mostly just wanting to tease her but he saw the way she tensed lightly. "Oh, my -- you slept with your boss?" He asks, his voice loud making her glare with him. Buck laughs lightly as he raises his eyebrows. "Oh, so you were that girl." Buck states, smirking at her.

"I wasn't any girl. It was consensual and wasn't anything to do with work."

"Mhm." Buck narrows his eyes, crossing his arms against his chest. "Wait, did you two ever..." He starts to say, watching as her face slightly changed. "In his office?" He asks, his eyes widening. Victoria clears her throat as she rubs the back of her neck. "You're a goddamn hypocrite,ย  you know that?" Buck says with a smirk, raising an eyebrow at her. She always made him feel embarrassed for taking the truck.

"Only he used his office so it's not the same thing." Victoria denies, placing a hand on her hip. It wasn't like it was in the communal work spaces.

"But you two fucked while on duty." Buck points out, laughing lightly.ย  Victoria just rolls her eyes a bit, shrugging her shoulders.

"It was a great way to you know, relieve stress." Victoria points out, their job could get very stressful and he was always there for her.

"So, he came here not just because he's your friend." Buck suggests, crossing his arms against his chest.

"Okay, we haven't slept together since I left Chicago. We're still just friends, probie." She tells him, not even knowing why she felt the need to explain herself to him. The man nods his head slowly.

"Good." He mutters to himself, feeling jealous as he looks down at the ground. Victoria glances at him, furrowing her eyebrows.

"Hm?"

"Nothing." Buck denies as he shakes his head. Victoria just stares at him a but weirdly, but decides to just get back into the truck. Buck clears his throat before following after her.

โ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ข

KELLY FOLLOWS VICTORIA INTO HER APARTMENT, glancing around as she closes the door behind them. He saw how clean it was, mainly because there wasn't much other than furniture in the apartment. "Your place is nice." He admits as he watches her place her bag on the table. Victoria sighs, running a hand through her hair.

"Thanks." She mumbles back, heading over to the couch. Kelly follows her, crossing his arms against his chest.

"What's wrong?" Kelly asks her as she sits down on the couch. Victoria just looks up at him, shrugging her shoulders.

"What? Nothing."

"You're distant. And when you distance yourself, usually there's something wrong." Kelly points out which makes her groan. She hated how he knew her so well. Victoria bites the inside of her cheek as she looks down at her lap.

"I just... feel guilty." She admits, making him furrow his eyebrows. "For not being at Andy's funeral." Victoria adds as she fiddles with her fingers. Kelly sighs, tilting his head.

"Hey, he would have understood." Kelly responds, knowing Andy would never make her feel bad for not going back to Chicago. He knew how hard she had it before she left the city.

"It seems like my life just keeps going in circles." She tells him as he sits down next to her. Kelly nods his head.

"It's hard to settle down, especially with everything you've gone through." Kelly says, it wasn't easy for anyone to move somewhere new and start over. But the reason she left Chicago, no one blamed her.

"I don't know if I'm ever gonna be able to." Victoria admits with a frown. It wasn't like she didn't want to date, it's just everyone seemed to not be good enough for her.

"Hey, you never know. You just have to meet the right person." Kelly points out, knowing it was hard but it wasn't impossible.ย  She just had to be patient. Victoria just stares at him, raising an eyebrow as an amused glint forms in her eyes.

"Kelly Severide giving me dating advice?" She asks, feeling like this was all a joke. Kelly rolls his eyes playfully, leaning back against the couch.

"Okay, okay. Don't be like that." Kelly tells her and she just smirks before nudging his shoulder.

"You found anyone yet, you know, after Renee?" Victoria asks, knowing he had a pretty rough breakup with Renee who had left to go to Italy for her job. He was going to go with her but decided to stay in Chicago.

"No, not yet."

"Our love lives are one out of a drama, I swear." Victoria admits as she runs her hands through her hair.

"You got that right." Kelly responds with a laugh, his eyes looking around the apartment. "Where's Rosie? I was hoping to see her." He asks as he hadn't heard anyone else here.

"She's at a sleepover but she'll be back tomorrow." She explains to him and he nods his head. "What if I don't find someone? God, men can't even do the sex part let alone date." Victoria points out with a sigh, crossing her arms against her chest.

"Ooh, that's tough luck." Kelly responds, although she could tell that he wanted to laugh.

"Mhm."ย  She hums as she moves her eyes over to him. "You know, we used to have a lot of fun back in Chicago." Victoria reminds him as she looks over him for a second.

"You mean, you used me as a distraction?" Kelly teases her as he winks at the woman who scoffs lightly.

"Hey, it was a mutual choice." She states as she points her finger at him and he smirks lightly. She leans towards him, tilting her head.

"Right." Kelly says before a sigh leaves his lips, resting his elbows on his knees. "When we got together, we were both in a pretty bad place." He points out, knowing that they both had gone through some very rough stuff when they started seeing each other. "Sure, it was fun but it also wasn't healthy." Kelly states and she just raises her eyebrows.

"Are you really rejecting sex right now?" She asks him, he was never one to reject it. He was usually the one starting it. Kelly chuckles, shaking his head.

"Woah, I did not say that." Kelly denies as he wasn't turning her down, he just wanted her to not be thinking irrationally. "But are you asking just to relieve some stress. Or is there something more going on?" He asks, he noticed the looks her coworker had given her so it made him hesitate.

"When did you become a shrink?" Victoria asks him with a laugh as she rests her hands on his chest. "I'm fine, Kelly. I promise." She assures him, moving onto his lap. Kelly smirks at her, gripping her waist.

"That's all I need to know." Kelly tells her before moving her onto the couch and hovering over her which makes her squeal. He kisses her intensely, his hands squeezing her hips. Victoria kisses him back, wrapping her legs around his waist to pull him closer.

Kelly moves one of his hands into her hair, gripping it tightly causing a moan to leave her lips. He smirks against her, grinding down against him as he deepens the kiss. Victoria runs her hands underneath his shirt, feeling his abs. Kelly just leans back slightly to pull it off. Victoria does the same with hers, throwing it to the floor before pulling him back towards her.

She felt his hands on her bare skin, their lips heatedly moving together. Victoria squeezes her thighs as she rakes her fingers down his back. Kelly groans as he moves his free hand to her waist, running it along her skin.

Victoria hears her phone start to ring which makes her sigh against Kelly's lips. She pulls away, glancing towards it and seeing bucks name on the screen. Kelly continues to kiss her, almost making Victoria forget as she holds her phone in her hand. "It's probie." She mumbles which only makes Kelly a bit confused as he pulls away from her.

"Who?" He asks, his lips finding hers again making her moan against them before pulling away once more.

"Buck." She responds before just placing her phone back on the table. "He can wait." Victoria says before kissing kelly again. The man grinds down against her causing her to moan. He moves his lips to her neck, leaving hot kisses against her skin. Victoria bites her bottom lip as she runs her hand through his hair.

Her phone rings again making her groan as she didnt want to be interrupted. "Jesus christ." She mumbles as she rolls her eyes. Victoria tilts her head back, allowing kelly more access as she grabs her phone, answering it. "What?" Victoria asks, her voice sharp. Kelly goes to pull away but she just tightens her legs around his waist.

"Hey, I'm sorry if I interrupted something." Buck's voice came through the phone and Victoria just wanted to reach through it and strangle him.

"Yeah, you are currently doing so. So, call back later." Victoria snaps back at him, about to hang up the phone as Kelly's fingers unbutton her jeans.

"Wait, it's not about me, it's about Rosie."ย  Buck says quickly, not wanting her to go without knowing. Victoria freezes, her eyes widening. Kelly feels her tense, pulling back from her as she sits up on the couch.

"What?"

"Look, apparently she and her friend went to this party and had a few too many to drink." Buck explains to her, not wanting her to worry but it was clear she already was. "She didn't want to worry you, so she called me." He admits, making Victoria a bit confused but she was mainly just wondering if she was okay.

"Oh, my god. Is she--"

"She's fine. She's passed out on my couch." Buck answers her making Victoria let out a sigh of relief. "She didn't want me to call you, but I figured you'd want to know." He says, knowing she would've been worried when Rosie didn't come home.

"Yeah, uh, thanks." Victoria responds as she fiddles with her fingers. "I'm on my way, text me your address." She says before hanging up the phone. Kelly was looking at her with a concerned look on his face.

"Is something wrong?" He asks her as he places his hand on her knee. Victoria looks towards him.

"Apparently Rosie went and got herself drunk." She tells him and Kelly raises his eyebrows.

"She's a teenager, it's bound to happen." Kelly points out, it wasn't like they were any better as teenagers.

"I'm just glad she was responsible and called someone. Why it was Buck of all people, I don't know." She mutters with a sigh as she gets up from the couch, pulling her shirt back on.

"Want me to come with you?" Kelly asks as he sits up on the couch. Victoria just shakes her head, looking down at him.

"No, it's okay. I won't be long." Victoria replies before leaning down and pressing a long kiss to his lips. "This isn't over, by the way." She tells him with a smirk as she just pulls away from him. Kelly shakes his head, smirking back at her before watching the woman leave the apartment.

โ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ข

BUCK OPENS HIS DOOR, seeing Victoria standing in the hallway. "Hey." He says as he looks at her. Victoria just brushes her hair out of her face, a sigh leaving her lips.

"Hey." She responds as she walks inside of the apartment. Victoria glances around before her eyes land on Rosie who was passed out on the couch.

"She had some water but she's been out for the past half hour." Buck tells her as he leans against the wall as Victoria bends beside her sister.

"Right, okay." Victoria responds as she sighs lightly, brushing rosies hair out of her face. "Why did she call you?" She asks curiously, Rosie knew she could always call Victoria so it didn't make any sense on why she called Buck.

"I don't know. She just called and needed a ride." Buck responds, not really knowing what to say. Rosie was too drunk to really give an actual reason.

"Well, uh, thank you. You didn't have to go and pick her up." Victoria says, standing back up. Buck nods his head, not seeing why he was thanking her.

"She's your sister, of course I did."

"Could you, um, pick her up and get her in my car?" She questions, rubbing her hands together.

"Yeah, sure." Buck says as he moves over to rosie, picking her up carefully.ย  They make their way out of the apartment, heading down to her car. "I really didn't mean to interrupt anything you were doing." He states, although he had an idea of what she had been doing when he called.

"It's fine." Victoria says as she shakes her head. "You weren't with Abby or anything, we're you?" She asks, not knowing why she did but it had just come out.

"No, I was just at home." Buck replies, he hadn't really been doing anything. He was quite shocked to recieve the call from Rosie, but was mainly worried for her.

"Oh." Victoria mumbles as she nods her head. As they head towards her car, Victoria opens the back door so that Buck could place Rosie inside.

"You know, I uh, feel like we've kind of been in an awkward stage." Buck admits, feeling the tension but not knowing if he should mention it or not.

"What do you mean?" Victoria asks, not really looking towards him as she makes sure Rosie was okay in the backseat.

"I know you don't like me and all, and then you told me about your parents. I just want you to know that I would never say anything." Buck tells her, he knew Hen was pressing the matter but he didn't want to get more on Victoria's bad side by saying something.

"Okay." Victoria responds, closing the back door.

"We should grab coffee." Buck says hesitantly, just making her look toward him, a bit confused.

"You want to have coffee?" Victoria asks him, furrowing her eyebrows.

"Well, I mean, everyone else in the house seems pretty close and I thought maybe hanging out, I don't know, would help us become friends." Buck explains to her as he shrugs his shoulders. He wanted to be close with everyone and she was the only one creating a gap.

"What makes you think I want to be friends with you, probie?" She asks as she raises an eyebrow at him. Buck just furrows his eyebrows, not sure if she was being serious. "When I opened up to you, it was a moment of weakness. I don't just, become friends with someone overnight. It took me a year to even let Chim and Hen in. And then Bobby is still somewhat on the edge." She admits with a sigh, even Bobby wasn't fully in yet. So, Buck should just allow her to let him in in her own terms.

"Yes, you do annoy me and quite frankly, I don't like you. But, me not hanging out with you outside of work, has more to do with me than it does you." Victoria tells him, she just wasn't as willing to let people in as she was a few years ago. The things she had gone through had made it quite difficult.

"Right, I understand." Buck replies, clearing his throat as he rubs his hands along his pants.

"I'm not saying that one day, things wont be different between us." Victoria says, knowing that eventually,ย  things may start to go a different way. "I'm just saying, don't try and push your way into my life. Because you'll just be doing the opposite." She tells him as she stares at the man who just nods his head, trying to keep the sad expression off of his face. "Have a good night." Victoria mumbles before getting into the car and closing the door.

Buck just watches as she drives off, his eyes drifting toward the ground. He didn't know what else he expected. She was always closed off apart from that one moment they shared. He was stupid to think things were starting to look up. He just lets out a sigh, heading back toward his apartment building.
