(Narrator's POV)

The last time we saw F/n, he was being totured by the two Demons and more for nearly two weeks. The physical torture and mental torment was so inhuman and unyielding there was no doubt he would break at any given moment.

And he felt that no one would come for him.

Well, until two blinding lights came onto the scene. All F/n heard from that point was shrieks, stabbing, and combat shouts as well as two masculine voices.

However, he would soon pass out before he could ask who it was.

~ Scene Shift ~

We get a shot of a bed in a two-story house and in the bed was...F/n! Only different was that he was a more healed and clean than the last time he was seen. Speaking of such....

??? #1: So, when is he supposed to wake up?

??? #2: V, be patient. He's been tortured for two weeks straight in Hell.

??? #1: *rolls eyes* Whatever, Cass.

Almost immediately, F/n began to groan in his sleep. Shortly after, he fully woke up, rubbing his head as he felt a numbing feeling in his brain. However as he looked around, he was both relieved and confused to be back at home.

F/n: What the hell? How am I home!? What happened!?

??? #1: *lightly chuckles* That's a lot of questions coming from a guy we had to rescue.

F/n turned to the side to see two males sitting in his room for whatever reason.

One had brown hair, matching eyes, and wore more casual wear.

The other looked almost the same and wore the apparel of a detective, complete with a trench coat. And he looked a bit more mature than the other.

F/n: Who are you two and what are you doing in my house!?

??? #2: Relax and we'll explain everything, F/n.

Before F/n could ask how they knew his name....

??? #2: You see, you were have been captured by these "demonic" creatures and....

??? #1: We were given the mission to save you from the section in Hell. Although it almost went to "Hell" itself, we managed to come out in one piece.

??? #2 seemed annoyed with the fact that #1 just bluntly told F/n all that.

F/n: What?

??? #2: We had to. Surely, you would understand that no one should have to go through all that?

F/n was silent. Assuming he was lost, ??? #2 placed three of his fingers on his forehead and (through chanting some words) showed F/n exactly what he meant, all the things he was put through in Hell. Said young man was shocked to see all that.

??? #2: I apologize you had to go through all that. Be grateful we had your mental state restored to avoid any future issues.

The mentioned young man was speechless at that, but he only had one question at the time.

F/n: So, how did you two manage to get through all that?

??? #1: We both had our training, man. You could say we're an army of two when we're together.

F/n: Well, I owe you two big time for this. So...what are your names?

??? #1: Virgil, but my friends call me V.

??? #2: Castiel, an angel of the Lord.

(Author: For the sake of writing speed, I'll be calling them "Cas" and "V" from this point forward.)

F/n: Well, nice to meet you two. And thanks again for saving me.

V: Sure. We'll think of a way you can repay us one day.

Cas: V, we don't do this for payment or services. *to F/n* Don't worry about that, alright? Just...

Suddenly, Cas' hand lit up and he lifted it to get a call from Michael, the current leader of the Angels. Both him and V listened in while F/n only watched with interest. Then, the two stood up.

Cas: Sorry, but we've got something to do right now with Michael, so we'll make our leave now. Just in case though....

Cas handed F/n a business card and he reluctantly took it.

V: See ya 'round, man.

The two then left via teleportation.

For the rest of the day, F/n decided to just rest himself as he was unsure about things from this point. While he could go back to Kuoh and finish his education, he still didn't want to have to put up with his former "Masters" and their slaves.

However throughout the day, F/n noticed some unnatural changes, both in his physiology and mental desires.

He figured he'd worry about that later.

~ Timeskip ~

F/n was seen standing in front of the entrance of Kuoh Academy. Although reluctant, he began to make his way through the grounds. Not even five minutes passed and some began whispering about him. What made it even more interesting...

???: F/n!

F/n looked up to see a trio of girls come in his direction.

F/n: Oh, hi.

Suddenly, he was hugged by them all, unexpectedly making him blush.

Murayama: Where have you been!? It's been about two weeks since you disappeared.

Katase: Yeah! A lot of the students have been rumoring that you ran off or killed yourself!

F/n: I, uh...had some personal matters going on.

Aika: What personal matters? Tell us.

Murayama: Right, we'll listen.

F/n just sighed, which is resonable considering that he didn't know how to word it, not to mention that they might not believe him.

F/n: Sorry, but that'll come out when I'm ready to share it alright?

Girls: Okay.

F/n: Now, uh, I'm gonna go to the principal and discuss the reason for my absence if that's okay. *Just need to quickly think of a good lie.*

With that, F/n and the girls parted ways and he left to find the principal.

After thinking of a decent enough lie to avoid expulsion, F/n was able to get back into school (although he had things to catch up with unfortunately). Still, he easily managed to slip back into a normal school life now that he didn't have to worry about working for the Devils anymore.

However, he felt like he was being watched by somebody...maybe more than one.

~ Timeskip (again) ~

After F/n had gotten through his comeback day to school, he was seen ready to leave and head back home. However...

???: F/n!

Turning around, he saw Murayama there and she looked....nervous.

F/n: Oh, hey. What's the matter?

Murayama: Uh, I-I was hoping...

F/n: Yes?

Murayama: Uh....will you go out with me!?

F/n was taken back. He never expected that of all things.

F/n: *blushes slightly* Ar-Are you serious?

Murayama: If you don't want to, then I...

F/n: No, no! I accept.

Murayama: Re-Really?

F/n: Yeah, I would like to.

Suddenly, she gave him a hug, which he slowly but definitely returned.

Murayama: Thank you! Meet me at the fountain in the middle of town later!

After Murayama left, F/n was left with an almost excited mind.

???: F/n!
