i really tried my best to find good faceclaims for the atla characters, especially in terms of the races/ethnicities that they were based on in the original show. i couldn't match them perfectly because i don't have the resources that major studios have to find the perfect actors ,, like netflix for example ,, they better not whitewash i SWEAR.

anyways, i'm actually pretty happy with these choices! so, just in general, for this fic (based on the faceclaims) :

~ kida is indian

~ jet is mixed (zimbabwean + indian)

~ sokka and katara are indigenous (i couldn't find specifically inuit)

~ suki is also mixed (chinese + german)

~ i couldn't find much info on yue, unfortunately

~ aang, azula, mai, and zuko are japanese

~ haru is sri lankan

~ ty lee is vietnamese

~ toph is filipina (i know i used bea for another fic, but she just gives me such modern toph energy)
