"What happened back there?" Fiona asked Sarah, struggling to keep up with the speedy girl.

"Nothing, I- I'm just worried about Erica." She sighed heavily and started to sniff around. She crouched down, slowly entering an alleyway.

The other brunette, who was distracted by all the pretty lights around, didn't notice she was gone until a few seconds later. "...Sarah?" She crept around, trying to find the girl.

A sudden bang spooked her, and she walked over to the source of the sound to find Ethan and Benny there too.

"Uh- what are you guys doing here?" She suspiciously questioned.

The boys tensed up, "Probably whatever you're doing." Benny spoke up.

Ethan, however, ignored the girl as he walked into the alleyway they had found. "Sh, there's something in the alley.."

Benny quickly pulled out a small camera and turned it on, "Night vision engaged." He examined the likes of garbage through the camera screen, he could've crouched down to allow Fiona to see last his tall figure, but he didn't.

Eventually he lands on something and it freaks him out. He continuously looks between the alley and the camera, confusing the other teenagers.

"What?"

"Benny, what?" Ethan urges. After a couple seconds of silence, Ethan steps forward to investigate himself. But Benny quickly stops him with his arm.

"We should leave.. We should leave, right now." He says panicked, slowly backing away with an arm around Fiona pulling her with him.

Ethan takes the camera and looks in it and they both scream. Fiona screams as a response to their screams, and then sees Sarah eating a rat. Her eyes are yellow and she has sharp fangs out. She sees them and hisses, causing Fiona to scream with the boys rather than because of the boys.

Ethan runs away while Benny continues screaming, and Fiona keeping a tight hold onto Benny's arm meanwhile her mouth was almost zipped shut.

Ethan then runs back to the duo to grab them and escape from the horrifying sight.

"We are so dead!" Benny exclaims while he runs.

"Speak for yourself! Skinny guy coming through!" Ethan screams.

"Warp nine!"

"What's warp nine?" Fiona breathlessly whispered to herself.

"Aaahh! Help! My babysitter's a vampire!" Ethan screams helplessly.(he said it! He said the thing! Roll credits!)

It was minutes since the three teenagers had started running, Benny and Ethan were talking about a halo level while Benny tried a battle plan, rolling over a (what the hell is that??? I can't tell 😭), while Fiona stopped to catch her breath, pulling out her inhaler to take a breath.

"You missed... the pattern.." Benny groaned on the floor, recovering from his fall to the cemented road.

"Sometimes... I just skim your emails."

"Fair enough." Ethan pulled Benny up by the arm just as Fiona had caught up with them, shoving her inhaler into her jackets pocket.

Sarah suddenly, out of nowhere, showed up behind them. "What's your problem?"

The trio yelped at the sight of her. "Y- hold on! If you eat us, that would so not be cool."

"I could think of better words for it, but sure." Fiona said in a low voice.

Sarah scoffed at the boy's comment, "If I wanted to eat you, I would have done it by now."

Benny pointed to the girl, "See! She's gonna eat us! We're doomed!"

"No, no, no!" Sarah desperately yelled to them as Fiona pushed Benny's arm down, rubbing her hand up and down his arm in an attempt to soothe him. "I just want to talk to you guys!"

Ethan grabbed a branch that was broken in half to form a cross and pushed it towards Sarah, "Demon of the night, begone!"

She sighed and waved her hands around, dismissing the action. "Guys, whatever you saw is not what it looks like."

"You're a- fucking vampire who eats animals and drinks their blood!" Fiona exclaimed angrily at Sarah, causing her eyes to widen in surprise.

"Uh- okay- so, it's kind of what it looks like, but-"

"I'm warning you, I had garlic bread for lunch. And I am not afraid to use my breath." Benny took a deep inhale and exhaled in Sarah's direction.

"Would you guys just shut up? I'm just a normal girl, okay?" She slumped her shoulders, desperately trying to keep them from attacking her or something. "At least I was until I got bit by my crummy ex-boyfriend. I'm technically still a fledgling until I drink human blood."

"You don't plan on doing that though.. right?" Fiona asked in a low voice, still hiding behind Benny.

"No, no, god no! I just need to figure out how to stop this thing before my mortal body dies," She crossed her arms, a mentally tired look etched on her face, "Or, at least stop it from happening to more people like Erica."

"That's what the 'nothing' was?" Fiona angrily inquired and Sarah nodded her head subtly.

"So.. you're sure this isn't some stupid thing for that Dusk movie?" Benny questioned.

"I wish."

"What kind of marketing techniques have they used before..?" Fiona asked him, with no response.

Then, there was a snarl of some kind. "Come on. Let's get out of here. I'm not the only one feeding tonight."

The boys start to ready themselves for leaving, Ethan throwing the brown branches to the ground and Benny was putting something in this messenger bag while Sarah set out a plan to get home and save Erica.

The teens walked into Ethan's home, entering through the front door to find Benny's grandmother asleep on the couch, and Jane downing a bowl of chocolate fudge and watching Dusk 2.

When Jane spotted the four older kids, she stood and switched the TV off. "About time! I'm so bored, grandma passed out five songs ago, and she has, like, zero boom-boom-pow. Can we pleasee play mow?" She begged Sarah.

"Sorry, I've gotta go." Sarah backed away to the back of the house and warmed the boys about letting vampires into the house. Meanwhile, Fiona and Jane set up Dance Dance Revolution in the living room.

"Finally, no one ever wants to play with me!" Jane pulled the brunette by her wrist.

"Ethan doesn't play any games with you?" Fiona sat on the floor, watching the smaller girl put the game in and open it.

"No. He thinks he's too cool to hang out with a little girl. And he's so not cool, but I think he's just in denial." She so casually explained.

Fiona just nodded her head.

Then the doorbell rang, and Benny rushed to the door. "Oh man, that pizza dude is so late. Bonus!"

He opens the door and invites the pizza delivery boy in, taking the pizza." Man, this is gonna taste so much better 'cause it's free!" He giggled.

Jane and Fiona walked over to the boys, Fiona reaching in to grab two slices. One for her, one for Jane.

"Sorry dude, but, I am just dying for a bite." Benny also reached in for a slice of pizza before the pizza delivery boy muttered, "So am I."

He grinned an evil grin, showing his fangs. The trio's smiles faded On my way they realized they were in danger. The boys screaming and Ethan quickly grabbing Jane to protect her.

She cried as Ethan tried his best to comfort her, "Jane, it's... it's okay. He's just playing a game, you know?"

"Yeah, a game." The vampire taunted, "Whoever tells me where Sarah is first, spends less time screaming."

The threat, causes Jane to scream and Sarah then appears in-front of Ethan. "Can I play too?"

The trio behind her shouting, "Yes!"

"Yes please!"

"Jesse got tired of waiting, so he sent me to come pick you up." The vampire inches closer to the kids while they backed away from him.

"Guess you are just the delivery boy after all." Sarah quipped meanwhile the others were being pushed further away by Benny.

"Heh-heh. At least I know whose side I'm on.. fledgling."

"Okay, um." Benny's voice cracked briefly While he opened the pizza box. "Can k just grab a slice and let you do your whole- vampire trash talk thing?"

"Benny!"

"What? If I'm going have a last meal, k want it to be the Italiano Deluxe."

Then, something clicked on Fiona's head. "Right! Hah. Italiano Deluxe.." She nudged Ethan's side, signaling him to finish with her, "With extra garlic!"

Benny yelled as he tackle the vampire with the pizza in his hands, urging the rest up the stairs while Jane continued screaming.
