Disha's POV

It was around 12 am and abhinav was still not back and I was pacing back and forth in the living room getting worried for him.

I called his assistant and she told me that he left his office at 3 pm only. I called deepak bhai and he also didn't knew anything about his whereabouts.

I asked deepak bhai to call their friends to check if he is with any of them. He might still be asking his friends because I didn't got any call from deepak bhai yet.

I heard my phone ringing and quickly picked up the phone thinking that it's abhinav's call but deepak bhai was calling me. I sighed and answered the call.

"I asked from some of our close friends and he is with none of them. He left his driver too and God knows where he went for this long. He hadn't done anything like this before I hope he is all right" deepak bhai said all worried for abhinav.

Tears brimmed my eyes when he told me that no one knows where abhinav is. I sat down on the couch and wiped my eyes. May be deepak bhai forgot to ask one of his friends and abhinav might be with him.

"Deepak bhai but are you sure that he is with none of them because he is still not back" I said and that's when I heard abhinav's voice. I quickly wiped my eyes and looked at the direction from where I beard the voice.

"Bhai he is home I will call you later" I said and hung up. I asked him that where was he all this time? He was looking puzzled and I understood that he must be thinking ehy didn't I called him to ask.

I told him that his phone was unreachable and afterwards it was switched off so I couldn't contact him. He told me that he will tell me everything and that includes about gauri di too.

I nodded and he started moving towards our room and that's when I saw his back which was burnt and dried blood was also present on his shirt. My voice cracked when I stopped him looking at his wounded back.

When he understood why am I behaving like this he was going to say something but I stopped him and asked him to follow me so that I clean his wound first.

I looked at him to check that if he is injured anywhere else and luckily he was not, apart from his back where he was burnt. He smiled softly at me and then went towards khushi's room. He opened door lightly to not disturb her sleep and then closed the door.

We both entered our room and I quickly went to bring first aid kit with me. When I turned towards abhinav he was struggling to remove his shirt because of pain. I placed the first aid kit in the bed and started removing his shirt.

"Hey! Are we bold now huh? Don't be naughty nau....." he said and my one death glare was enough to stop him saying any nonsence further.

When I completely removed his shirt I made him sit on the bed and I myself sat behind him with first aid. Tears brimmed in my eyes seeing his back which was badly injured looking like as if someone deliberately rubbed a hot rod in his back.

Where were you abhinav and who did all this to you? I hope you will tell me everything as you promised earlier.

I started rubbing ointment on his back very carefully to not hurt him and few times when I touched him where the wound was more deep he winced in pain.

When his wound was completely treated I took a loose t-shirt and helped him in wearing it. He was looking at me very intensely which was making me really nervous but I was trying really hard to don't show him that how his gaze is effecting me.

"Stay here and wait for me" I said as abhinav was going to get up. I quickly went to kitchen and prepared a plate for abhinav as I know that he had not ate anything yet.

I entered in our room and sat beside abhinav as he kept on looking at me with a smile on his face. I made a bite for him and took it near his mouth and he quickly opened his mouth and ate it.

Whole time while eating I kept on feeling his gaze on me but I didn't looked at him once. When he ate two chapattis and told me that he doesn't want anymore I nodded and tried to get up but he pulled me and I landed in his lap.

"Abhinav what are you doing? You are hurt and I am a bit heavy so please let me go" I said and tried to wriggle out of his hold but he groaned and tightened his hold.

"Don't move because you don't know what you are doing to me right now and I am very much comfortable like this and most importantly you are not at all heavy wifey" abhinav said and pecked my cheeks.

I blushed but quickly masked it and again tried to wriggle out of his arms to put his plate in kitchen as I desperately want to know everything about gauri di.

When I again wriggled in his arms he tightened his already tightened hold on my waist and pushed my lower body to his which made me stop my movement and my cheeks reddened due to blush.

"Did you understand now why I was telling you to not move?" he said and I nodded while blushing. He smiled and after kissing my forehead he removed his hands from my waist and I quickly went outside the room to place the plate in sink and patted my cheeks to stop myself from blushing.

"Will you tell me everything now as you said earlier?" I asked him and his face got pale but he nodded and I sat on the bed and he also came to his side.

"I will tell you everything but promise me that you will not interrupt me in the middle and will not take any decision instantly" he said and I nodded nervously because from his tone I can figure out that he himself is very nervous to tell me everything.

"4 years ago shivam, rishi's best friend betrayed my sister for money and abondoned her though she was pregnant with his baby.which left my sister heartbroken. She always used to praise shivam so when I met him and he told me that rishi was the one who betrayed my sister I believed him.

When I first met you I liked you and that's why I checked your files more deeply to know more about you but there I came to know that you are rishi's sister. I married you so that I can hurt you in the way he hurt my sister but I tried initially and whenever I used to see you in pain I felt an unusual feeling in my heart.

I don't know when I fell for you but I realised it when you met with an accident. That time only deepak found out that shivam lied to us so we confronted him and he agreed that he did all that for money.

I asked rishi too for his forgiveness and he told me that now he doesn't have any grudges for me so we started behaving normally with each other. I still feel guilty for everything but please believe me that I really love you" he told me everything and I was feeling numb hearing his confession.

I was just a pawn in his game!

I WAS JUST A PAWN IN HIS GAME!!

I was thinking this but came out of my thoughts when I felt abhinav wiping my tears which I don't know were flowing all this time. I wiped my eyes and looked at him to ask about gauri di.

"How gauri di is related to you and what happened to your sister? Why didn't I met her till now?" I asked him and he looked at me with a sad expression on his face. Hearing his answer a gasp left my mouth.

"Gauri was my sister and when she found out shivam she instantly left from that hotel. She was almost nine months pregnant and while driving she was crying hysterically. She ca...called me and was speaking something but I couldn't understand anything because of her crying.

I told her to drive slowly and I am coming there but she didn't listened to me and I...I heard her car cr...crashing to some truck but I was not able to do anything. When I reached the hospital where she was admitted doctor told me that she was no more but luckily they were able to save her baby" he told me and till now we both were crying.

"Wh.....what happened to the baby then?" I asked him and he looked at me with his gloomy eyes which was showing that how much painful ut was for him to tell everything.

"Khushi is the baby I am talking about. I am not her biological father but many people asked me to give her for adoption but I didn't want to give her to anyone so I adopted her. When mom and dad came to know about all this they both were very upset with me but eventually forgave me for hiding everything about gauri's relationship" he told me and was crying so I went towards him and hugged him to comfort him.

He tightly hugged me and hid his face in crook of my neck mumbling to never leave him and how much he loves me. We stayed in the same position for few minutes and when he was okay I helped him in laying down as his back was injured.

He looked at me to know about my emotions but I muttered 'sleep' and left from there. He looked hurt from the way I behaved but I am still processing everything he told me.

I went to the other room and cried remembering about gauri di. She was very sweet and friendly when I once told her about my bullies she consoled me and told me to never feel alone and can talk to her anytime as she is like my elder sister.

I don't know what to think about abhinav now I want to forgive him but I always feel hurt when I think that I was just a pawn in his revenge game. But he also suffered as much as I did no no he suffered more than me and I don't want him to get hurt or feel guilty again.

That's how I come to a decision that I will forgive him but that's the last time I will do it and after that if he will hurt me then it will be definitely over between us.

I wiped my eyes and after washing my face I entered our room and abhinav was still awake but he didn't noticed me as he was in deep thoughts. I went and laid on the bed and as soon as he felt my presence he looked at me with a shocked expression.

I hugged him and placed my head on his chest and he too wrapped his arms around me. When he was going to say something I interrupted him and muttered sleep and then slept in his arms while he kept on patting my head lovingly.
