Disha's POV

It's been 4 days since I woke up and abhinav hasn't left my side. I don't know what happened to him suddenly as he is behaving very sweetly with me and the most surprising thing is yesterday I saw abhinav talking with rishi bhai and they were smiling while talking.

What happened between them after I got into accident that they both are behaving completely opposite to which I expected?

I didn't got time to ask rishi bhai about the things which abhinav said that day and when one day I tried rishi bhai told me to ask everything when I will be completely fine and out of this hospital.

Abhinav was sitting on the couch doing work on his laptop and I was laying on my bed looking here and there. Well abhinav tried to talk with me so that I won't get bored but I didn't replied him so he started working.

"Hey dishu! May I come in?" ritesh asked while peeking from the door with a smiling face. I nodded and he came inside with a bouquet.

"How are you now dishu?" he asked me and before I could reply him we heard abhinav mimicking his voice under his breadth but unluckily he was loud enough so we heard him.

Ritesh looked at him and gulped nervously. He greeted him and abhinav being abhinav he just nodded and continued to do his work on laptop but I can tell from his demeanor that he is embarassed because we heard him mimicking ritesh.

"I brought your favourite chocolates Ferrero Rocher with your favourite flower rose bouquet" he told me and I said thank you and placed the bouquet on the side table. I quickly opened the chocolate box and started eating them because I was so bored with hospital food.

Ritesh smiled looking at me and started telling me that what all happened in office in this week and how much he missed me. He was speaking all this in very low voice so that abhinav doesn't get disturbed.

But it was actually opposite of that because abhinav was looking at us and trying very hard to listen everything that ritesh was saying. I smiled seeing abhinav's reaction then again turned my attention towards ritesh.

We were talking when a nurse came with a fruit salad for me. I asked abhinav and ritesh that do they want it and they both denied so I started eating.

"Dishu are you on dieting? If you are then stop because I can't bear to lose even 1 gram of you from this earth" ritesh said while placing his hand on his heart and abhinav spitted out all the water from his mouth which he was drinking and was looking shocked.

I am used to ritesh's jokes and all that's why I was not shocked and just chuckled while putting a piece of apple in my mouth.

"No I am not on dieting I will eat lunch after sometime as I don't want to eat it now and fruits are healthy that's why abhinav asked the nurse to bring me this" I told him and he nodded.

We talked for a while and abhinav was working on his laptop but I think his all attention was on us only. Ritesh being ritesh started telling me his lame jokes which however made me smile.

Ritesh: Tell me why did a student ate his homework?
Me: ....... (Looking at him dumbfounded)
Ritesh: Because his teacher told him that his homework is a piece of cake!!

I laughed while hearing his joke and he flipped his hair proudly. Abhinav was glaring at us and now his laptop was also closed and his whole attention was on us.

Ugh! What is wrong with him? Why is he glaring ritesh with such a murderous look?

Ritesh: When a pig got hurt what will we apply on him?
Me: Some medicinal lotion I think
Ritesh: We will apply oinkment because pig will say I am a pig oink oink!

He said the last sentence exactly like my jinnie and I laughed whole heartedly this time while clutching my stomach.

Ritesh: I used to think air is free but do you know what proved me wrong?
Me: ........ (I shrugged)
Ritesh: It is.......ENOUGH!

We heard abhinav's voice and ritesh immediately stopped speaking. He looked at me with horrified face and whispered in my ears.

"Shit! I forgot while telling you jokes that he was also sitting behind me. Why didn't you reminded me?"

I was going to ask abhinav to not speak like that with my friend but before that he started speaking.

"Mr. Ritesh Mehra I think you should go to office now as according to me you have a meeting after 45 minutes and our office is not close to this hospital" abhinav said and ritesh cursed lightly while looking at his watch.

"Dishu I totally forgot about that meeting I have to go now. Take care and keep smiling" he said and after patting on my head lightly he passed a formal smile at abhinav and left the room.

I looked at abhinav as he came and sat beside me. He was going to say something when again our door opened and ritesh peeked inside with a mischievous smile on his face.

"Dishu, answer to the last question is I came to know that air is not free when I bought a bag of chips and abhinav sir you don't have to be jealous she is all yours" ritesh said while giving a sheepish smile to me and a wink to abhinav and left from there.

I smiled seeing his antics and looked at abhinav to see him also smiling. Now he is smiling and few minutes ago he was glaring. Ugh! Even I don't have such mood swings during my periods.

Abhinav looked at me and tried to grab my hands but I pulled my hands before that and he looked hurt from my action.

"Disha I know you are angry with me but please wait for few days I promise I will tell you everything but not here. Can you please forgive me that I misjudged you that day but believe me I didn't meant anything that I said that day?" abhinav said while looking at me intently.

"I will decide that I will forgive you or not after hearing everything that you have to tell me but as for now I don't know anything so let me be as I want and please don't try to speak to me again and again because I don't like to ignore someone this much" I said and when I looked at him he had tears in his eyes.

He nodded and got up from the chair and again sat on the couch on which he was sitting earlier. About half an hour later deepak bhai came with khushi in his arms and my lips automatically curved upwards seeing my cupcake.

Khushi said hi to both of us and abhinav kissed her cheeks lovingly and then deepak bhai smiled at me while coming towards me with khushi.

I quickly sat on the bed and opened my arms for khushi and khushi hugged me tightly. Abhinav and deepak bhai went outside the room to discuss something.

Now after so many days I was alone with my cupcake as earlier when we met two or three persons were always used to be with us because of which khushi was not able to talk with me freely.

"Mommy when will you come back to home? I don't like there without you" khushi said and I made her sat on my lap and gave her few chocolates which ritesh gave me.

"I will be discharged day after tomorrow and then we will play and watch cartoons just like we used to do. Okay?" I said and khushi smiled while eating chocolate.

We ate chocolates and she told me everything that happened in her school. Khushi had chocolate all over her mouth so I cleaned it with tissue paper and she giggled happily.

It was almost 8 pm and khushi asked me to tell her a princess story as she hadn't heard any in this week so I narrated one to her and she slept in the middle of the story in my arms.

I placed her head on my shoulders so she doesn't get neck pain. I didn't laid her beside me because it might disturb her sleep if I move her.

Anyone can see that she didn't got her sleep properly as when she came her eyes were looking tired. Abhinav came inside the room with deepak bhai and they both smiled looking at us.

"You know this whole week she was very tensed for you and was not able to sleep peacefully. Aunty (abhinav's mom) told me all this and see after coming in your arms she is sleeping so soundly" deepak bhai said and I caressed her hair and after placing a kiss on her forehead I passed khushi to him.

Abhinav also kissed her forehead exactly where I did and then looked at me I quickly averted my eyes from there to not show them that I am blushing. Deepak bhai cleared his throat and after saying good night he went to home.

A nurse came with our dinner so like before abhinav helped me in eating the food. After that I gulped my medicines and then tried to lay down but it was paining a bit because I was sitting for a while now.

Abhinav helped me in laying down on my bed and then went to the couch and after eating his dinner he laid down on the couch.

He is sleeping on this couch from almost one week he must have felt uncomfortable sleeping on it. I told him to go home on the very first day but he didn't listened to me and said that he will be here with me till the time I get discharged.

I was not asleep and was just laying down with my eyes closed when I felt abhinav placing a kiss on my forehead and muttering I am sorry!. Then I heard steps and I knew that he was back to his couch now.

Well this is not the first time he did this as I have been noticing it from three days that when he thinks that I am asleep he comes tiptoeing and after kissing my forehead and saying sorry he sleeps on his couch.

I agree that my heart flutters everytime he does something like this but I will not forgive him easily. He has to tell me everything and after that only I will decide because he accused my brother and me without listening anything.

I thought about all this and after looking at abhinav as he was asleep. Slowly sleep engulfed me too so I slept peacefully.
