Disha's POV

When I woke up I saw abhinav sleeping beside us. What the hell is he doing here?

I checked khushi's temperature by putting thermometer in her underarms and thankfully it was not that high as yesterday.

I went inside our room and took a bath. I made breakfast for us and then I slowly woke khushi up and after she brushed her teeth we went to the dining room for breakfast.

"Cupcake please eat this otherwise you won't be able to eat your medicines" I told khushi and placed the spoon near her mouth but she turned her face in the other way with a cute pout.

"Mommy I don't want to eat this and it tastes bad too" khushi whined referring to dalia (porridge). I took a spoon and started making some funny faces to which khushi giggled and agreed to eat.

When abhinav came and kissed khushi's cheeks while asking her about her fever. When he came towards me to kiss me like always I quickly got up and went to bring khushi's medicine.

Is he mad or what? Did he forgot that I saw him with his girlfriend in his office yesterday that too in intimate position?

We did our breakfast and I told him that I am on leave for 2 days with khushi and before he could reply me I left from there.

He went to office after that and I spent my whole day with khushi in playing with her and watching some Doremon and frozen.

It's been two days and now khushi is gone to her school as she was completely fine now and I am in my office right now doing some work.

In these two days abhinav tried to talk to me many times but I didn't listened to him and made excuses to leave from the same place as him and because khushi was in the home I got successful everytime.

Suprisingly today I didn't had much work inspite of taking a leave. Riva is on leave today as deepak bhai and she decided to stay at deepak bhai's parents home.

When it was lunch time ritesh came barging inside my office. "Disha, Let's go and eat something as I am damn hungryyyy" he said and closed the files on which I was working.

I nodded and then we went to cafeteria for lunch. We ordered our food and sat at the table. Ritesh being his funny self started telling me his lame jokes.

Ritesh: Why did a kid threw a stick of butter out of the window?
Me: Maybe because it fell on the floor and got dirty.
Ritesh: Nope, because the kid wanted to see butter-fly!!

Ritesh: Why can't you trust atoms?
Me: .......... (Just staring at him because don't know the answer of his question)
Ritesh: We can't trust them because they make up everything. Hehe!!!

Ritesh: Which hand is better to write with?
Me: It depends whether the person is left handed or right handed.
Ritesh: Oh common disha!! It's neither one of them as it's better if you write with your pen. (He cracked up saying this and I just looked at him with a 'Are-you-serious' look).

Ritesh: Did you know what prize was given to the person who invented knock knock joke?
Me- Idk!
Ritesh: It was no-bell prize!!

"Oh my God Ritesh!! From where did you get these lame jokes?" I asked while laughing my heart out not because of his jokes but because of his proud expression after telling me these jokes.

"One more please, pretty please" he begged while joining his both hands and with a pleading look. I nodded after wiping the tears which came out because of laughing.

Ritesh: What will you give a sick lemon?
Me: Oh! I know this one!! It's Lemon-aid.

I told him the answer proudly and like this our whole lunch was done. We went to our respective cabins and I started working. Like this whole day was also passed and I didn't saw abhinav at all as he didn't came for round too.

I reached home and after changing into my shorts and crop top I spent whole time with khushi and taught her for her upcoming tests.

Ashi had already prepared dinner so when abhinav came back from office we had our dinner. While eating abhinav kept on glaring at me with a blank expression.

Now what the hell did I do to be glared like that? We didn't even met today then what happened to him?

I laid beside khushi and told her a bed time story and as always she slept while listening it. I quickly placed a kiss on her forehead and cheeks and left the room silently.

I opened the door to our room and when I didn't saw abhinav on the bed I released a breadth which I don't know I was holding.

"Are you looking for me baby?" I screamed as soon as I heard abhinav whispering near my ears but he placed his palm on my mouth to muffle my scream.

"You startled me! Why did you whispered like this?" I said and removed his hand which was on my mouth.

"Disha, the scene which you saw that day in my office was misunderstanding as I wa....." he was telling me but I interrupted him saying that "I don't care as it's none of my business".

I tried to go from there but abhinav pulled me towards him and I came face to face with his chest as few buttons of his shirt were open.

I quickly averted my eyes from him before he could notice me ogling on his chest but unfortunately it was too late as the smirk on his face was telling me everything.

"If it's none of your business and you don't care if you see me with another woman then why did you cried that day and why are you ignoring me now?" he said and I started to push him in order to free myself from his muscular arms.

"You are not going anywhere today before listening to me so to get over with this fast please co-operate" he said and I stopped struggling because deep down I also want to know what happened and what will he tell me?

He told me everything that happened on that day and I kept on looking at him. Is he telling the truth? But it seemed very realistic? Next time if I will see that bitch Natasha I swear I am gonna destroy her plastic face!

"Disha I am telling the truth and please feed this in pretty head of yours that I will never cheat on you and to be honest I haven't saw any girl in that way after our marriage. I may not have liked you initially but now I like you and can't even think to hurt you" he said looking at me while cupping my face.

I blinked my tears and tried to move away from him but he pulled me to his chest and hugged me tightly. We stood there for few minutes then I asked him the question which was bugging me from a long time.

"Abhinav why didn't you liked me initially as before our marriage we don't even know each other that much?" I asked him and his hold on me loosened.

"I will tell you everything but when the right time comes. Can you wait till then?" he asked and I nodded lightly. I tried to move away from him but he again tightened his hold on me. 

"So are we good now?" he asked me and I replied him in positive. He smiled at me and kissed my both cheeks and then my forehead.

"Where are you going?" abhinav asked me as I started going towards my couch. "Of course to sleep" I told him and laid on my couch as I was feeling very sleepy.

He came towards me and picked me in bridal style. "Abhinav what are you doing put me down?" I yelled and without replying me he laid me down on the bed and when I tried to got up he hovered over me in the way out faces were hardly inches apart.

"Abh...abhinav what a..are you do...doing?" I stuttered because of our close proximity.

"You will sleep on the bed from now on and if you tried to got up again I will kiss you and I am not bragging I will gladly do it, so choice is yours" he said and I gulped nervously.

"Okay I will sleep on the bed so get off now you are crushing me with your weight" I said and he quickly laid down beside me with a smirk.

Why do men always keep on smirking? It annoys me sometime but looks good when my devil does it. Shit! Why am I calling him my devil?

"Hey sleep on your side otherwise I will go to Khushi's room" I told him and he looked at me with a pout. I am not gonna melt from his pout!

When he didn't got any reaction from me he rolled over to his side of bed with a sigh. I chuckled seeing this devil acting cute.

"Why were you giggling with ritesh today?" he asked me and I looked at him with a confused look that how does he know.

Well it's his company he must have saw that on the CCTV.

"We were eating lunch and he was telling me his jokes that's why but why are you asking me? Are you by any chance jealous? I asked him with a teasing smile.

"I know you are my wife and doesn't have any feelings for him so why will I be jealous of him. I was just asking from curiousity" he said and I scoffed saying "Whatever".

We said good night to each other and then slept on our sides of bed.
