Disha's POV

I moved vaguely in my sleep when I felt someone tracing my face with their fingers. I narrowed my eyes while sleeping and turned to the other side to complete my precious sleep.

When I heard a cute girly giggle basically khushi's giggle behind me I immediately turned towards her with a smile on my face to see her already looking at me.

"Good morning mommy" khushi said while touching my face adoringly. I replied her while kissing her on her forehead lovingly.

You must be thinking that how khushi is sleeping with me then let me tell you that yesterday there was a thunderstorm so she got scared and came to our room.

I was sleeping on the couch but when she came and asked to sleep with us then not having any other option I slept on the bed with abhinav and khushi between us.

Abhinav was looking very happy when khushi slept with us and smiled at me. He is smiling very frequently nowadays which is very unlike of him. When khushi was about to sleep she interwined both of our hands and slept while cuddling with us.

"Let's get ready otherwise you will get late for your school" I whispered to khushi as to not disturb abhinav's sleep who was sleeping peacefully beside us and she also whispered okay in the same tone as mine.

Khushi went to her room to get ready for her school and I went inside my washroom to freshen up as I will bath later today and the reason is simple and that is I am not in the mood!!. I came out of the washroom and saw that abhinav was not in the bed.

Where is he? Though it's 7 am but it's still early for him to wake up as he always wakes up when we are having our breakfast.

I went inside the kitchen to see abhinav already in the kitchen and is trying to make pancakes. I chuckled seeing his struggle and decided to help him.

Huff!! Though I am helping him in cooking but it's not for him but for khushi as she will get late because of her idiot father. You believe me! Isn't it?

He was looking cute cooking in the kitchen wearing a apron. He looked at me and smiled at me. I returned his smile because nowadays we are in good terms.

It's been almost 3 weeks since he had started behaving politely with me. I don't know the reason yet and I didn't asked him about it because practically I don't want him to go to his devil self again.

I like this caring and polite side of him. I think I liked him slightly before only but now I am confirmed that I like him!.

Whenever he gets free from his meetings early, like before he doesn't indulge himself in unnecessary work but comes home early and spends his time with me and khushi.

"Abhinav what are you doing in the kitchen today?" I asked him while flipping pancakes which were on the pan.

Yeah I called his name because few days ago he asked me to call him abhinav only, firstly I denied but in the end I agreed as I also feel awkward calling him Mr. Kapoor every damn time.

Khushi came ready and till that time our breakfast was also prepared. She came to us and abhinav kissed her cheeks saying good morning to her.

They both looked at each other and I understood that what are they conversing. Khushi gave me a sheepish smile and I was going to deny them when abhinav pecked my cheeks making me blush.

It's there daily routine now, that abhinav will kiss her cheeks while greeting her good morning and then khushi and abhinav will look at each other for few seconds then abhinav will kiss my cheeks too.

I blushed from his action and it's not the first time today so I quickly took the plates and started placing them on dining table. We sat at the dining table and I served khushi first then we all started eating.

I ate one pancake and was drinking my tea when abhinav placed one more pancake on my plate. I prefer tea in morning than coffee. No offense to coffee lovers!!

"Why did you placed one more pancake on my plate?" I asked him and he gave me a 'To eat of course' look. I took the pancake and was going to place it back when abhinav grabbed my wrists to stop me.

"You have eaten only one pancake and that too was a small one. I have noticed it that you don't eat your breakfast properly. If you will not eat your breakfast properly you will get sick and I know that yesterday you skipped your lunch too that's why I am telling you today" he said looking into my eyes.

"I need to complete some files urgently that's why I didn't had lunch yesterday" I told him and he replied me with a smug smile on his face.

"You could have told your boss I am sure he would have asked your team head to give you some more time".

"I don't think so because my boss is an arrogant jerk" I said and whispered the last curses in his ear so that khushi didn't hear us. He looked at me shocked and after clearing his throat he gestured me to eat my pancake.

I looked at khushi but she was not looking at us and was busy eating her food but I know that she heard us because of a cute smile which was plastered on her face.

We had our breakfast then khushi left for her school with abhinav as he had to go early today because of some meeting. I went inside our room and got ready for office.

I reached office before 10 am and went to riva's floor and saw deepak bhai waiting for the elevator. He looked at me and we greeted each other.

"What are you doing here so early?" I asked him with a teasing smile. He blushed when I asked him and told me that he had some work with an employee here.

"So you didn't came here to meet riva?" I asked him while wiggling my eyebrows. His face was crimson red by now and after giving me some lame excuse he left from there hurriedly.

Deepak bhai and riva started dating 2 weeks ago. I went inside riva's cabin and she was looking at paper bundle with a smiling face.

"So deepak bhai is the reason for a full blown smile on your face. Isn't?" I asked her and she nodded.

"He wants me to meet his parents on this weekend. I know that we have recently started dating but he wants to introduce me to his family so I agreed" she said and I showed her thumbs up.

We talked for a while then I went to my cabin. I am so happy for riva as finally she can get her own family and I know that deepak bhai will always keep her happy.

When she met me years ago she didn't had anyone as she was an orphan and was being bullied at her school. I saved her that day from the bullies and then we became friends and after that best friends.

I started working and it was around 11 am when I got a call from an unknown number. I picked it up and it was from khushi's school and they informed me that khushi is not feeling well and wants to go home.

I quickly closed my files and went to abhinav's floor to tell him about khushi and that I am going early today. I greeted his assistant and she looked at me shocked but quickly covered it and politely smiled back.

"Is he in the office?" I asked her and she nodded saying "Yes he is but he is busy right now I think you should come later".

"It's related to khushi and I need to tell him urgently, it will take a second only" I told her and without listening to her reply I knocked on his door but when didn't got any answer I opened the door but not a single word came out of my mouth seeing the scene in front of me.

Abhinav was on the couch with a girl in a very intimate position as he was hovering over that girl and few of his shirt buttons were open. When he looked at me his eyes widened and he quickly got up from that girl who was smirking and was trying to pull him again.

He was going to say something but I said a faint sorry and ran inside the elevator. I reached my car and drove off to khushi's school. Whole time I was crying hysterically because of my heartbreak.

I controlled my tears in front of them because I didn't wanted to breakdown in front of him and his whatever she is. But in elevator I couldn't control and a sob escaped my lips. I can feel his assistant's eyes on me with a guilty look but I didn't made any eye contact with her because of my teary eyes.

If he would have done something like this before I wouldn't have felt that bad but now it really hurts as I have genuinely started liking him. He really is an asshole!

I recognised that girl as she was one of his ex girlfriend. Her name is Natasha and she is a model. Is he still in a relationship with her inspite of being married?

I wiped my face off when I reached her school so that she doesn't get worried for me as she herself is not well. I saw my phone to check and no missed calls or messages were there from him.

Tears again threatened to come out of my eyes but I sniffled and went to take khushi. Khushi was suffering from fever so I took her to hospital directly for check up.

We reached home and after eating lunch and medicine khushi slept hugging me. I also laid beside her so that if she needs anything I can give her immediately.

Whenever I closed my eyes to sleep I was seeing the scene in his office again and again and tears started flowing from my eyes. I don't know when but I slept while crying.

When I felt khushi moving I immediately got up and checked her fever.

Thank God! She doesn't have fever now.

I looked at my phone and it showed that it was 7 pm and there were no calls and messages from him.

He really doesn't care about me. I was such a fool that I believed him. He told me on our first night only that he hates me and doesn't feel anything for me as I am not like his past girlfriends or maybe present too. Then also my dumb mind believed his acting.

"Cupcake, Are you feeling good now?" I asked her while caressing her hair. She snuggled more closer to me and nodded her head.

"Mommy but I am feeling weak" she told me and I changed her dress as the one she was wearing was very sweaty because of her fever. I made soup for her and she drank it while I passed the spoon to her mouth after blowing on it.

Abhinav was still not back yet. Ashi prepared the dinner but as khushi drank soup so she didn't ate anything. I didn't had any appetite so I also didn't ate anything.

She placed the food on the dining table for abhinav and went to her home. I laid with khushi today in her room as she is not well completely. Khushi asked me about abhinav so I told her that he is busy in some important meetings.

Important meetings which include only him with his girlfriend and of course a couch.

I thought about that and again a tear rolled down my cheeks. I wiped it and didn't knew when sleep engulfed me.
