Disha's POV

I was in my room getting ready for my reception. Mom and Dad has already reached the venue to welcome our guests. Khushi is in her room getting ready with the help of ashi. Abhinav is ready and might be in his study doing some work. Workholic!

I wore a red gown and made my hair in a bun. (Please imagine her wearing bangles and mangalsutra👇)

"Wow! Mommy you are looking gorgis" khushi said smiling and I chuckled on her cuteness that she has pronounced gorgeous wrong.

"Cupcake, it's gorgeous and you are looking very cute and beautiful" I said while pulling her cheeks lovingly. She repeated gorgeous with me and when she pronounced it right she became more happy than she was before.

Khushi was wearing a pink gown just like me but it was off shoulders. She has a good height for her age so she was looking very cute and beautiful in it.

"Mommy do you know why I chose this dress?" Khushi asked me and I shook my head.

"I wanted to wear same colour dress as you and when I found it, at that instant only I decided to wear it for today's function" khushi said and I hugged her. She is one of the main reason that I endure devil's taunts because now I don't want to leave my cupcake ever.

We went outside to see abhinav sitting on the sofa while looking into his phone. "Papa let's go" khushi said.

"Why did you took so mu......Umm nevermind Let's go" abhinav was saying something but as soon as our eyes met he stuttered and went to his car.

From when did devil started stuttering? Well it was good to see him getting nervous. Hehe!

Abhinav was wearing a black tuxedo and had trimmed his beard. Overall he was looking devilishly handsome. I said devilishly because though he is looking eye candy from outside but from inside he is my devil.

Shit! Did I said my devil? From when did he became mine devil? Ahh! I shouldn't look at him like he is my crush otherwise these types thoughts will again arise in me which I hate the most.

We reached the venue and entered the hall everyone greeted us and we sat on the stage. I met my parents and hugged them. I missed them so much!!

"Princess, you are looking beautiful" Rishi bhai said while hugging me. We hugged each other and then he greeted abhinav. Abhinav was looking at us with clenched jaws.

Now what the hell is wrong with him? Can't I hug my brother?

I thought he will respect my family though he didn't considered me his wife but he disappointed me again. He is acting cold towards rishi bhai which is making me mad at him as I can see my brother is getting uncomfortable and finally took his leave saying my mother is calling him.

Abhinav went somewhere to meet some guests when Ritesh came with a bouquet and congratulated me. Ritesh is my colleague and one of my good friends. Ritesh was out of country from 2 months and came yesterday only so he was not able to attend our wedding.

We were laughing as he was telling me his silly jokes when abhinav came back and sat beside me looking deep in thought.

He looked at us and furrowed his eyebrows so ritesh introduced himself and he being an arrogant jerk just nodded. Then he left as today was his parents anniversary too and just came to congratulate me.

"Hello bhabhi and abhi" deepak bhai said and I replied him smiling. Riva also came at that time only. "Hey Disha and my dear jijjuuuu" she said stressing on word jiju and we all erupted in laughter well except devil of course.

"Hello Sir" she replied politely to deepak bhai and he smiled looking at her. Oh ho are they both blushing? We talked for a while and now abhinav was normally behaving.

They both took us to the dance floor and all the lights were switched off while the spotlight focused on us. Everyone started shouting "DANCE" "DANCE" "MOMMY PAPA DANCE".

I heard khushi also cheering I smiled at her and abhinav pulled me to his chest by my waist. Janam Janam by Arijit Singh started playing and I wrapped my hands around his neck and he placed his hands on my waist. We moved to the rhythm while looking into each other's eyes.

When song was about to finish he interwined his right hand with my left hand and with a strong force he swinged me. My hold on his neck tightened and I glared at him angrily.

The way he swinged me if he was not able to catch me on time I might have fell hard on the floor and there was a high possibility that I would have broken some bone. He looked at me smirking and leaned more towards me.

"Don't worry I won't hurt you physically.....Yet" he whispered in my ears and my eyes widened. Is he planning to hurt me physically later?

We came back to our senses when we heard hooting. We quickly moved apart and when I looked at everyone my cheeks gained a red colour due to their mischievous grins.

Well they all are giving me these expressions because they think he whispered something romantic to me. If by any chance they knew that he was practically threatening me they wouldn't be grinning like that.

Whole function was passed in meeting guests and then we had dinner. I was also happy to meet my parents. As the function was finished everyone departed except family members.

"Abhinav beta I trust you and I know that I don't need to tell you to take good care of my daughter but I must say that please always treat her like the princess she is and always make sure that not even a single tear of pain will fall from her eyes. Can you do that for me?" My father said and my eyes filled up with tears hearing his words.

I hugged him tightly and we stood there for few seconds. "Yes dad, I promise you that I will always take good care of her" he said to my father and looked at me. At that time, only one word came to my mind and that was LIAR!!

Few hours ago he threatened me and now is giving fake promises. Hypocrite!

I went towards rishi bhai and hugged him. "Bhai I am sorry for abhinav's behaviour earlier I think he was upset at that time" I apologized to bhai and he smiled at me while patting my head.

"Don't worry princess I am okay. Princess...Umm...Can I ask you something?" Bhai said while stuttering and I nodded smiling at him.

"Tell me honestly Is he treating you good?" he asked me and my smile fell but I quickly composed myself and nodded my head.

"Yes bhai he is treating me good and his parents are also very supportive and caring. Let me tell you Khushi is the best daughter I could have ever asked God" I told him but his expression told me that he didn't bought the lie I told him about abhinav but thankfully he didn't questioned me back and nodded his head.

"If you need anything or if you want to share anything promise me that you will call me first" he said and I promised him while linking our little fingers and joining our thumbs.

"Disha Let's go" abhinav said and immediately left from there. I bid bye to rishi bhai and sat inside the car. We reached home around 1 am. Khushi was fast asleep in my arms and mom and dad had some work in Jaipur so after function they directly went to airport.

I changed khushi's dress and laid her down on her bed and covered her with the duvet. I kissed her forehead and after dimming the light left the room.

I came inside our room and directly went to washroom. After changing into my nightwear I entered in the room and laid on my couch.

Abhinav's POV

I came to dining table to have my breakfast as today I have to take both disha and khushi for shopping as per my dear mother's order.

I saw that disha was eating fruit salad but I didn't said anything because maybe she ate aloo parantha earlier and now eating this.

We went inside the store and I didn't addressed her as my wife because it's simple as I don't consider her. I looked at her to find any kind of hurt expression on her face but sadly didn't got any.

When she came out wearing her gown I so wanted to see her but I controlled myself and acted cold and unbothered which made khushi a bit sad.

The thing which surprised me the most was she payed for hers and khushi's dress herself but maybe this was one of her antics to show me that she is not gold digger but unfortunately it will not work on me as I know the reality.

When she asked me to stop at Domino's I commented on her body and that was the first time today I got reaction to her but seeing her teary eyes I don't know what happened but after that I didn't said anything.

I ordered Red velvet lava cake for her because I know she has a sweet tooth just like my daughter. But when she asked khushi to convince me to eat it I know that I am screwed now.

On the day of reception she was looking very beautiful. Maybe if she was not rishi's sister we could have worked our relationship but now there is no chance.

I was standing in the corner while sipping mocktail when deepak came to me with a smile on his face. "What's up Bro?" I asked him while passing him a glass too.

"Good so how is your marriage life going" he asked with a mischievous smirk. "Deepak you know the reason why I married her and then also you are asking such question" I said while getting irritated from his question.

"But everytime your eyes tells me something else. Whenever you look at her it is like you adore her. Don't you dare deny me as I have seen you in office and in functions secretly glancing at her" he said and I glared at him.

"Nothing is there between us and will never be so don't think about these type of nonsense again because I have only one emotion for her and that is only hate" I said and she sighed sadly.

"Look abhi I know that you are not able to move on from the past. Gauri was like a sister to me too. If rishi did something bad to your sister then you are doing the same thing by using his sister who most probably don't even know about gauri. I think you should give your relationship a chance bec....." Deepak said and as soon as he asked me to give a chance to our marriage I snapped at him.

"You are saying something bad when you know everything. Because of rishi only gauri died that day and I will never forgive him or anyone related to him. You think disha don't know anything but you are not sure so there is a possibility she also helped her brother to snatch money from my sister. Now for giving chance to our relationship that is not gonna happen anytime soon till disha is proved innocent".

"Okay then I will dig into the matter more but I hope you will not do anything till then which you may regret later" he said and I nodded because I also want to know deeply about gauri's past.

Me and deepak then discussed about some company issues. This is what I like between us because no matter how much we argue in the end we will end our discussion on a happy note only.

I then went to the stage and sat beside disha who was talking to a boy looking very happy. Who the hell is he? He greeted me and informed that he is one of my employee and I nodded.

During dance I swinged her roughly and she was scared for a minute that I will drop her. I threatened her but I know that was only for bluffing because I will never hurt her physically at least not intentionally. I am not Rishi Kulshrestha!!

After function I promised her father but I felt guilty for lying because I myself know that I will not be able to keep it. Khushi was asleep so I searched for disha and there she was chatting with her precious brother.

I interrupted them and asked disha to come with me without acknowledging rishi. Whole time in function whenever I saw rishi I only saw my gauri's helpless face which made my blood boiled.

We reached home and disha went to put khushi to her bed. The only thing for which I am grateful to disha is that she keeps my khushi happy.

When the door of my room opened I pretended to sleep and after sometime saw with my slight open eyes that disha came from the washroom and laid on the couch covering herself from head with duvet.
