Disha's POV

"Mommy please I can't eat more" khushi whined while I was feeding her aloo parantha. She doesn't like to eat much but she has to eat it for healthy diet.

I know burger and pizza are very alluring but we have to have balanced diet because junk food will not do anything in that case.

"Cupcake please one more for me and then in evening we will eat pizza" I said and her eyes lit up listening pizza. She lunged at that bite and smiled victoriously. I quickly made another bite for her.

"But you haven't ate a single bite for papa. He will be so sad to know that khushi didn't ate a bite for him" I said sadly and put that back on the plate. She stood there for few seconds then came running to me with her mouth wide open saying "AAAAA".

She went chewing that bite while singing 'aaj blue hai pani pani aur din bhi sunny sunny' in her cute voice. I smiled looking at her and started eating my fruit salad.

Don't think that I don't like aloo parantha because it is one of my favourite dish. But yesterday I measured my weight and it is increased 3 kg within 2 weeks only.

I don't know what happened to me now as I used to eat freely before but when devil told me that I am fat I became more conscious towards my weight.

Abhinav came when I was eating and started eating his parantha. He looked at me for a brief moment but didn't said anything to me. We ate silently but as soon as I was finished I stood up to go.

"We should wait for the other person who is eating with us before getting up from our seat. It is one of the dining table rules" abhinav said while eating his food.

"You should come on time if you want to have your lunch with everyone. It is also one of the dining table rules" I said and went inside kitchen before he can say anything back.

Yesterday after what happened between us I didn't spoke to him until now. I was shocked due to his behaviour and I am angry at myself as I don't know why didn't I pushed him.

Ahh!! Okay you got me, I was feeling shy with his sudden act yesterday so I choose to ignore him instead of being awkward.

"Mommy Papa I am ready" I heard my daughter saying or more precisely shouting excitedly. Me and abhinav were already ready so we went for shopping.

"This store has best collection and my mom also generally buys her dresses from here" abhinav said as soon as he stopped the car in front of a store.

We went inside the store and a girl in her twenties greeted us with a over smiling face. "Sir Ma'am what type of dress you want?" she asked politely.

"Show designer gowns for the lady and my daughter" he said with his usual arrogant voice. Oh so he doesn't want to acknowledge me as his wife. Well I am not dying to be called his wife.

"This way ma'am" that girl said while showing me the way. She showed me some gowns but I didn't liked them because they were very revealing. Khushi was with me whole time and was giving her opinion time to time.

Don't get me wrong I don't have any problem with those who wear revealing dresses but these type of dresses don't look good on me because I am a bit healthy.

"I think it is of my size" I said to the girl as a very beautiful gown caught my eyes and she checked it and confirmed the size. I tried it and came out to show khushi my dress.

"Wow! Mommy you are looking very beautiful" khushi said while clapping her hands. "Papa see mommy is looking so beautiful" khushi said to abhinav who was engrossed in his phone the whole time.

"Hmm.....khushi do you wanna play this game?" he said changing the topic but khushi scoffed and again said "papa you didn't even saw mommy. Please tell how is she looking?"

"Khushi, she is not a kid so she can decide whether she likes it or not" he said without looking at me.

"Cupcake I will change my dress quickly and then we will look for your dress" I said and khushi nodded smiling but this smile was not her usual smile.

He could have at least looked at me once for khushi but he being devil only knows how to ruin our mood. I have to think of a way to enlighten khushi's mood again.

I changed into my dress and went to the other section with khushi to look for her dress. "Cupcake how is this?" I asked her while showing her fifteenth dress and her eyes instantly sparkled.

"Yes mommy I want to buy this one only" khushi said and we bought that after I helped her in trying it. The dress was beautiful but it was looking much more than that on my daughter.

We reached the counter for billing. Abhinav was going to pay it but I beat him to it and swiped my card first. He looked at me with a shocked expression. I entered my pin code and after picking our shopping bags I left the store.

Devil is looking beyond shocked. Well he might be thinking how a gold digger like me payed the bill when I can easily let him pay. I am very much capable of paying for my things so I don't need his money.

"Abhinav will you stop the car at Domino's?" I asked him because I promised khushi in the morning that I will treat her with pizza if she will complete her aloo parantha.

"Okay but for an advice you shouldn't eat much junk food especially which contains mozzarella cheese as you are already fa...." he was speaking but I interrupted him.

"I...I was asking for khushi...not for me" I said and didn't speak further as I don't trust my voice as it cracked in the middle when I was saying this only.

I thought he might have noticed my voice but from his demeanour I can say that he didn't realised it. Why would he feel bad for me? I mean nothing to him.

We reached Domino's and I sat beside khushi. "What do you both want?" he asked and khushi told him that she wants to eat Farmhouse with extra topping of cheese and red velvet lava cake. I chuckled seeing her excitement. She is always excited which makes her more adorable.

"And you?" he asked looking at me. "I don't want anything" I said and he looked in deep thought but finally he left to order khushi's food.

"Papa see it's our order number on the screen" khushi said and yes it was ours. Abhinav went and brought her pizza and 2 cakes with him.

He passed pizza and one cake to her and the other one he passed to me. "I told you earlier that I don't want anything" I said calmly to not draw any unwanted attention.

"Khushi ask your mommy to eat this cake as she is not eating pizza also" abhinav said to khushi. This asshole wants a good beating from me.

"Cupcake no I really don't want to eat" I said but khushi brought a spoon of cake near my mouth with her little hands. I can't say no to her.

I opened my mouth and ate it. Yum!! It tastes delicious. "Mommy now please finish your cake" khush said while showing her puppy eyes and I nodded.

I looked at abhinav and he was already looking at me with a smirk. I know he doesn't like cake much especially creamy and it's lava cake so it has a loads of it. Payback time! (Internally smirking)

"Cupcake won't you tell your papa also to have this cake as he is also not eating pizza" I said to khushi and passed the cake bowl towards him with a smirk. His smirk was gone and he was looking towards khushi horrified.

He took a spoon after khushi insisted him a lot. He scrunched his nose as he ate a bite and then glared at me. I ate the whole lava cake because khushi kept insisting to finish it and on another note cake was beyond delicious. After eating we went to home.

We reached home and ashi had already prepared dinner for us. Khushi didn't eat anything as she was full after her pizza treat. Me and devil ate our dinner silently with a lot of awkwardness surrounding us.

As usual after dinner we went to bed I mean khushi went to her bed and abhinav went to his bed but I went to my precious couch.
