        IT was a nerve racking day leading up to the show later that evening. All the Superstars and crew roamed around the backstage some preparing for either their one on one match, tag team match, and of course the Royal Rumble. It was quite chaotic to say the least.

Phoebe's lips were pulled into a frown as she looked down at her phone, photos of her and her ex displayed on the screen as she hesitantly pressed on the trash bin icon. A knock brought her out of her thoughts as she was met with Colby Lopez.

"Hey, sorry, just came by to say good luck." He said shutting the door behind him and taking a seat in front of her on the wooden bench.

She shoved her phone into her gym bag and nodded, "Thank you, you too."

Colby nodded and adjusted his vest, glancing to the screen across from them which showcased the opening match. "How you holding up?" He asked gaining her attention once more.

"Fine, nervous, but --" He gave her a look indicating that wasn't what he meant. "It's starting to hurt less." She admitted softly referring to her recent break up. "Thank you, for being there for me." She said reaching out and taking his larger hand in her small one, his thumb hovered over her knuckles lightly. "I'm sorry for treating you like shit when you went solo, I guess I wasn't ready to let you go after being so used to it being all four of us for months."

Colby smiled in understanding, "I know, I didn't know if I should take it or not but I think it'll help us all individually." Phoebe nodded in agreement.

The two were interrupted by a short figure who rose her brows at the two, "My bad." April chirped as the two pulled away from one another. "Everything alright in here . . ." She asked glancing between the two as Colby stood up and nodded, whereas the woman in front of him fiddled with her hands rambled over his excuses. "Right . . ."

"I should go get ready for tonight." Colby said excusing himself and leaving the locker room.

"Shut up." Phoebe said glaring at the brunette who raised her hands in the air.

"I didn't say anything." She said walking over to the brunette, "Do you know what you're doing?" She asked referring to her mess of a love life and work ethics.

"Yeah." Phoebe nodded falsely, "I got it."

April hummed watching as she went into the washroom across the room to change. She let out a sigh and shook her head.

       ASKING Alexandria played through the arena signalling the Divas match was next and first up was none other than Phoebe herself. Phoebe walked to the ramp looking to the crowd before her. Raising her hands showcasing her bandaged hands. "And the challengers, first from Chicago Illinois, Phoebe Brooks!" Lilian announced.

Raising her arms in the air she walked down the ramp to the ring. She ran forwards stopping herself against the ring apron and placing her hand beneath her chin listening to the chants around her.

With a smile she pushed herself off the apron and skipped to her right around the ring, listening to the chants grow louder by the second.

Her smile widened seeing familiar faces near the time keepers area. She sent a wink over where the Massie brothers sat, Tyson, Austin, and the Allen siblings.

"That's my baby!" Jade shouted from next to her brother.

Coming to the side of the ring she hopped onto the apron and walked over climbing up the turnbuckle and placed her hands below her ear.

"BEST IN THE WORLD!" She shouted signalling the crowds screams.

Phoebe hopped off the turnbuckle and skipped around the ring as her music faded resulting in the chants to be much more clear.

She looked to where her friends sat and blew a kiss to the blonde who stood there next to a blue eyed man in a Bullet Club sweater. Jade grinned as Austin raised his hand with his thumb up.

Phoebe skipped to the corner of the ring and sat crossed leg on the turnbuckle awaiting for the next three.

Next was AJ.

"Next from Union City, New Jersey, AJ Lee!" Lilian announced.

AJ sat in between the ropes near Phoebe the two waving to one another with ditsy like grins.

The two looked down the ramp hearing the familiar theme of the Bellas.

"And from San Diego California, Nikki Bella!" Lilian announced.

Phoebe rolled her eyes looking off to the crowd, where as AJ watched in boredom.

As her music faded AJ waved sarcastically at the busty brunette.

"And from Norwich England, she is the Divas champion; Paige!" Lilian announced.

The three women's faces instantly drew to the championship on Paige's shoulder as she rounded the ring.

Phoebe hopped down from the turnbuckle and narrowed her eyes on the title.

Once Paige entered the four stood at each corner as the bell soon rang afterwards.

Phoebe and AJ watched as Paige began to argue with Nikki.

"I beat you!" Paige exclaimed not happy that Nikki had been shoved into their match which was originally supposed to be a triple threat had now become a fatal four way, making it harder not only on the challengers but Paige's chances at retaining much worse.

All though it was Phoebe's night.

The two looked towards the two who stood next to each other with smirks watching the interaction, before both Paige and Nikki ran to them only to be knocked down.

Phoebe jumped onto Nikki sending numerous blows to her head before kicking her out of the ring as AJ did with Paige. The two looked to one another and nodded before rounding each other.

Phoebe and AJ squared up and began sending numerous elbow shots to each other as the crowd chanted 'YES' unsure who to cheer between the two.

Phoebe ducked beneath AJ and hit her back against the ropes only to have her feet pulled from under her and under the ropes, her body collided to the floor curtesy of Nikki.

The brunette crawled to the edge of ring seeing AJ being held by Paige in her arms. Lifting her leg up onto the apron she slid in just as AJ shoved Paige back who super kicked the petite woman.

"Why don't you love me?!" Paige exclaimed.

She turned around only to be met by Phoebe's boot, a super kick in return.

Paige rolled out of the ring as Phoebe was grabbed by her long locks and had her face slammed into the turnbuckle by Nikki. Phoebe fell to her knees, her hair covered her face as she tried to shove Nikki's face away from her own weakly.

"Just leave! You don't belong here!" She shouted as Phoebe shoved Nikki back only to have her head shoved into the mat again.

She grabbed Phoebe by her hair and Irish whipped her into the corner.

Phoebe lifted her legs and kicked Nikki stumbling backwards. Climbing up she stood on the top rope and jumped off putting Nikki into a bulldog, driving her head into the mat like she had done before.

Paige grabbed Phoebe and lunged her into the second turnbuckle.

Across the ring Paige darted to AJ who sat on the top rope ready to dive onto Nikki only to be blocked as the dark haired Brit began hitting her ribs and climbed up the ropes steadily to put her into a super--plex.

Phoebe on shaky legs stood up as Nikki held all three on her shoulders. Phoebe ran forwards and drop kicked Nikki's knees as she dropped the two women onto the apron.

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆, 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻!

𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁!

Phoebe crawled towards AJ who rolled out of the way. She huffed to herself and leant against the bottom rope as Nikki took hold of Paige onto her shoulders. Standing on to her feet Phoebe  performed a shinning wizard on the twin who dropped Paige who as well rolled out of the ring on impact.

Phoebe crawled over Nikki's body and put her into the Anaconda Vice, a tribute to her brother.

"Tap!" Phoebe cried out and used all her strength on the brunette who cried out in pain, raising her hand it hit Phoebe's forearm repeatedly.

"Here is your winner, by submission, and the new Divas champion; Phoebe brooks!" Lilian announced.

Phoebe rested against the ropes with a wide smile as she began to chuckle in disbelief as she was handed the butterfly belt. She grabbed it as her free hand was held up, her other holding the championship up high.

Climbing to the corner she raised the championship proudly.

Her gaze falling on her friends who cheered her on.

She looked to her right seeing Paige crying on the floor looking up at her. The brunette blew her a taunting kiss as she clutched onto the title.

"That's mine!" Paige cried out.

Phoebe skipped out of the ring excitedly her championship up high walking up the ramp way.

     THE locker room sat backstage watching the men's rumble. The Divas spread out as the men who had been eliminated watched despite being eliminated. Phoebe sat with April as they watched the final men in the ring. All though the two knew who'd win they remained antsy in their seats observing the match.

Colby sat next to Phoebe as did Jon, the two had been eliminated early on but stayed to watch the remainder of the match.

The four watched as Phil put Joe to sleep. They were all down, all that was left was for him to throw them over the rope.

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮. Jerry Lawler said, 𝗛𝗲𝘆, 𝗵𝗲𝘆, 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀!

Phoebe stood up as Kane appeared behind her brother and yanked him over the top rope. "No, no, no, what the fuck?" She exclaimed ignoring the looks from fellow employees.

April wore a look of equal confusion as they now stood up starring at the television screen in catering.

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗻. 𝗔𝘀 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵, 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗸. Michael informed the viewers.

Phoebe gripped her title as she watched her brother be shoved into the barricade and beaten mercilessly. She shook her head as her jaw ticked, her brother laid tirelessly on the steel steps.

"Phoebe . . ." Colby said reaching his hand towards her only for her to yank her shoulder away from him watching as her brother was then choke slammed into the Spanish announce table.

She shoved passed her friends and made her way down to guriella ignoring the calls of her friends she entered the room seeing Vince removing his headset seeing the brunette storm in with a glare on her face.

"What was that?" She demanded as Colby came up behind her and swallowed harshly seeing their boss there.

"Phoebe-- before you--" Vince began only for her to shove her title into Colby's chest before running out of the room and onto the ramp down to where her brother laid.

Anger ran through her as she knelt near her brother who tiredly looked up at her. She turned her head looking for the big red monster only for her to be stopped by a hand, her brother's.

Her glare softened as he shook his head. His exhausted eyes met her enraged ones, "They said--"

"I'm done." He muttered lowly only for her to hear as the referees surrounded them to help him to his feet.

Those words alone tore her as she parted her lips looking down at him.

She helped him to his feet and assisted him towards the back.

Nothing was said from him, when Vince explained that they had bigger plans in store for the main event her brother remained silent, which frightened her to say the least.

He was never silent.

Things were going to change from that night on. For WWE, the fans, wrestlers, and most of all, for Phoebe Brooks.

And that terrified her.

we're gonna pretend like seth was already a heel at this point, i know he was apart of the shield in 2014-2015 before cp punk left but for the sake of this story he was not. im changing the dates and years around !

also instead of aj vs paige vs nikki at night of champions im making it at the rumble !
