            MONTHS had gone by painfully slow for Phoebe Brooks. She had called it quits with her boyfriend, or ex boyfriend, Tyler Avalon. She had gone through a rough couple of weeks when she had found out about him cheating on her whilst she was away. Ultimately bringing her closer to her friends, and family. That was possibly the only good thing about it all, was that her friends from outside of WWE had reached out to her hearing about what had occurred seeing as how it was the topic of interest in the public's eye, much to her dismay.

It was quite humiliating finding out your boyfriend was cheating on you via leaked photos of him at a night club with some blonde. It broke her, but those around her were eminent on keeping her focused on herself and job wise.

It was also nearing the Royal Rumble, where she'd go up against  AJ Lee and Nikki Bella for the Divas title. She was scheduled to win, which made it hard to not be excited for the ppv, as was her brother who was assigned to win the Rumble where he'd main event at the biggest stage of them all, his dream.

Shockingly enough Phoebe had managed to go on without strangling her former best friend. Maybe it was because she had grown tired of not having the architect by her side. She was fully aware and began to understand why he took the deal to become a solo Superstar.

She realized The Shield wasn't forever and they needed to eventually go their separate ways.

Perhaps it's why she was given a title shot, despite the way the company was beginning to lose interest in her, her brother and women who represented what they stood for. Like April Mendez who to, was growing tired of the company but remained due to her fiance.

Phoebe sat in a restaurant next to Colby who rambled about his plans for Wrestlemania. The two were awaiting for their friends before the big ppv the following day, the Royal Rumble.

"Phoeb's you listening?" Colby reached over waving his hand in front of her face with a goofy smile.

Phoebe hummed as she tore her gaze away from a blonde who sat with her friends, "Should I dye my hair?" She asked earning raised brows from the man.

"I like your brown hair, but if you want. What were you thinking?" He asked taking a sip of his beer.

"I don't know, blonde?" She trailed off looking to what little of blonde he had near the ends of his curly locks.

"Think you'd look beautiful in any colour." He said as she smiled looking down. Her cheeks tinted pink earning a smile from Colby.

Chairs screeching interrupted the duo who stood up seeing their friends had arrived as well as a few familiar faces.

Phil Brooks, April Mendez, the Jones siblings, Fergal Divitt, Chad Allegra, Andrew Hankinson, Renee Paquette, Jonathan Good, the Massie brothers, Dana Massie, Brandi and Cody Rhodes, Tyson Smith, Martin Scurll, and Austin Jenkins.

Phoebe's smile widened seeing the petite blonde Jones and the other three women as she engulfed them all in a hug. Colby greeted the rest of the Bullet Club and his friends.

"If I knew everyone was coming we would have gotten more tables." Phoebe joked to Brandi who smiled down at the brunette and hugged her.

"It was last minute but we wanted to say 'hi' since we're in the next town over for Ring Of Honour." Matt said to Phoebe as he shook Colby's hand who awkwardly nodded to the group of men.

Phoebe nodded in understanding, "I see, well I'm glad ya'll came." She said hugging April.

"Can we order? I'm starving." Martin said as he took his seat next to Tyson who shook his head looking down at the menu.

"When aren't you hungry?" Nick remarked.

"Oi, mate, I only had a salad before the show. I need some carbs." Martin argued, his lips formed a pout as he looked over the menu.

Phoebe giggled looking down at the menu, "Know what you want?" Colby asked tearing his attention from Nick and Cody, "They have vegan tacos." He said pointing down at the menu in her hands.

Phoebe hummed as she read over what was inside the meal.

Austin glanced between the two shamelessly eyeing the brunette who looked up feeling eyes on her and offered him a small smile. Nick rose a brow at his friend who tore his gaze away and cleared his throat reaching over for his coke.

Moments later the group of friends had ordered their meals for the rest of the night.

Phoebe smiled as Jade sent snarky comments to Finn who simply egged the blonde on who continued to argue about the club and that it was in better hands since he had left.

She looked up to Austin and furrowed her brows at the bump on the side of his head. The male with the bun looked over and rose his brows in question, "What happened?" She asked pointing to her temple where Austin had a bump located above his brow bone.

Colby now turned his attention to the two, "Bug bite?" He asked.

"Yeah, Adam what is it?" Nick chimed in with a shit eating grin only to earn a glare from the Panama man.

"Uh, nothing major." He shrugged it off sipping on his coke. Phoebe tilted her head not believing him, "I'm secretly the devil in disguise and my horn is growing in."

Phoebe rolled her eyes in amusement as the others chuckled. "You're so full of shit." She shook her head and took a sip of her water.

"No, I'm serious." He nodded, "The other one is coming in after, it's a slow process. Now you know no one has to ask anymore questions about it." Phoebe giggled at Austin's wide grin.

"So, are you guys staying for tomorrow?" Colby asked changing the topic as he looked around the table to the indie wrestlers in particular.

"We were thinking about it." Allen nodded glancing to his friends who shrugged, "We don't see a reason not to. If ya'll are cool with it . . ."

The group shrugged.

"Why not." Tyson said.

"Don't think we can go." Cody said earning a nod of understanding from the group.

"Correction, we don't want to go. But we'll be watching from the hotel." Brandi said earning a smirk from Cody.

"Don't blame you." John said from next to his girlfriend, Renee who nodded in understanding.

The rest of the night went on smoothly, safe to say. Everyone got a long, some reminiscing of when  they were back in NJPW and also ROH. Allen and Jade and a few others had even expressed how they'd join the WWE to further their career maybe in the future.

Phoebe listened in on the group, though she felt as if she wasn't there. Odd.

She went over what has transpired throughout the year prior and into the new year. Things were changing, and she wasn't sure if she liked it. She was used to how the company she worked with, dreamt of being with because of her brother. But a part of her couldn't help but think of what it would be like being with her other friends in Ring Of Honour. She missed it, although she was there for a short period of time before she was thrusted into NXT. She missed them all deeply.

She watched the boys' Youtube channel where they showcased their time on the road and preparations for matches. It brought her genuine happiness seeing them excelling on their own and because of their fans and not because the company they worked for was the biggest wrestling franchise. They were doing it themselves.

If you asked Phoebe when she was seventeen if she could make it on her own without her brother, or the help of WWE, she'd probably say 'no' but now, that thought was diminishing day by day seeing her friends do wonders.

Austin tilted his head at the brunette who snapped out of her trance and looked up at him. His worried blue irises meeting her doe ones, asking if she was okay with just the simple gesture she nodded and gave a tight lipped smile before grabbing her water. Austin let out a small sigh turning back to the men who spoke about their next match.

so i switched this book up a bit and made it into a seth rollins x adam cole x oc book clearly lol i still have my Kenny Omega fic THE ELITE but i wanted to make a adam cole fic because i mean how can you not? and so i added him in

obviously everyone is still in ROH at this time its early 2015 now so the following chapter will be the royal rumble and thats when things for phoebe will go down hill, she'll be with seth but career wise she wont be happy until she goes back to NXT later in 2017 when Adam joins the company so yeah i hope that kinda clears things up a bit if there's any confusion 🖤
