Delhi Women's prison.

Naina was sitting in the visitors' room, waiting for her mother.

Anjali, cuffed, was dragged to the table and forced to sit.

The arrogant woman she knew in the past had vanished, replaced by a defeated woman who appeared worn out and had half of her hair grey.

It has been two years since the raid on the Patel mansion and the arrest of Anjali and Vijay.

After the trial, Anjali was sentenced to 25 years in prison after Vijay accused her of buying drugs in order to frame Arnav and the others for a lighter sentence.

Vijay blamed Anjali for all of his illegal activities, which began during his affair with her. Despite the fact that the family knew Vijay was lying, all of the evidence pointed to Anjali because the offshore accounts bore her name and signature.

Anjali's defense was inadequate due to a lack of funds to hire a competent lawyer, and she was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Ten years in solitary confinement, with the remaining fifteen years in a regular women's prison.

She had no choice but to accept it because it was the only way she could be saved from the gangs that Siddharth had cracked down on, and they all blamed Anjali for it and threatened to kill her.

Vijay may have received a lighter sentence of three years in a maximum-security prison, but Karma got him when he suffered a heart attack alone in his cell and died after hours of excruciating pain.

"How are you doing, dear?" Anjali asked, expecting hatred from Naina, but she smiled and nodded.

"I am fine...... I could not meet you for the past two years because I was healing and making amends for all the wrongs I would done in an attempt to please you." Naina responded sincerely, while Anjali expressed regret.

"You hate me, right?" Anjali asked hesitantly.

"No, I don't. "Anjali was taken aback when Naina responded so sincerely. "Do not be surprised.... I honestly don't..... Khushi auntie told me something a year and a half ago that changed my perspective on hatred...... It hardens your heart and forces you to do things you may regret later in life...... She said that her hatred for what happened to her in the past caused her to hurt grandpa Shashi, and that even though they are back together, she cannot forgive herself for what she said or how she acted against grandpa...... In her rage and hatred for Arnav uncle, she even planned to use Lulu against him, but God softened her hardened heart, and she saw things differently, resulting in happiness...... She wants that for me, too, which is why she helped me stop hating you and myself." Anjali was stunned to learn Khushi was behind Naina, not hating her, and tears streamed down her cheeks. "It is ironic, is not it, that the woman you despised and blamed for your own mistakes is the reason the only person who will ever love you does not hate you even if she should........ You had it all, mum, from a caring and loving brother who would go to any length for you, to grandma Manu and great grandma Devi who genuinely loved you and always prioritized you in the family, but you were still dissatisfied...... People will kill to have what you have, but you never appreciated all of their sacrifices....... Sacrifices that nearly cost them the happy lives they now enjoy....... But who am I to pass judgment when I am no different from you?"

A crying Anjali shook her head hearing Naina compare herself to her.

"No you are not like me...... You are different...... I was horrible, I conspired to hurt Khushi and Arnav....... I also tried to kill Mami when she tried to expose me...... You are not a demon like me. " Anjali cried out.

"You finally confessed. " Naina said, and Anjali looked down, embarrassed. "Do not worry, I will keep your secret......" Your deplorable state is sufficient punishment for you........ Anyway, I just came to see you for the last time before leaving to join Lulu and Kiki at Harvard. This is the last time we will see each other."

Anjali smiled, which surprised Naina because it was not the reaction she expected.

"Congratulations, dear........ I have heard you get along well with your cousins..... Congratulations on your acceptance as well.... I wish you all the best in life, and may you always shine." Anjali responded with sincerity, shocking Naina. "How is your relationship with Siddharth, and how is he?" Anjali asked, and Naina sighed.

"He is fine and got married to Anita last year...... My relationship with him is progressing step by step. There is a lot we need to do to heal, and Anita maa and the family are guiding us through it all...... Anita maa is the mediator between dad and me, and she is the one who helps us get through the awkward stage of our reunion." Naina said with a smile, which made Anjali smile too.

"That is good to hear. Anita is the mother you need."

"We might be able to repair our relationship someday." Anjali shook her head, which surprised Naina.

"We won't...... You already have a mother named Anita...... If I continue my good behavior, I will be out in fifteen years, and I would like to do something different...... I truly want to help people, but returning to your lives would reopen old wounds...... Forget me, dear, and get on with your life..... You thriving is the greatest joy you could ever bring me...... I apologize for everything I did to you, and I wish you the best in life."

Anjali leaned in closer and kissed Naina's forehead, tears streaming down her cheeks.

She engulfed Anjali in a tight hug, and the guard watching them moved closer to unlock her chain, allowing Anjali to hug Naina.

"Best wishes in your life, dear."

That was Anjali's last words before Naina left the prison.

She walked out to the packing lot to find the entire family, with the exception of the younger children, waiting for her.

She smiled, realizing how lucky she was, and dashed towards Lulu and Kiki, engulfing them in her hug as they all laughed.

Seven years on.

Lulu, Kiki, and Naina were now all adults, leading the most powerful institutions and businesses in the country and beyond.

Lulu was now in charge of her parents' business after Arnav and Khushi retired, but Arnav was still involved in training Lulu and occasionally assisted her together with Sheetal and Aman help.

Kiki has taken over Gupta confectioneries from her mother and grandfather, as well as Raizada car dealerships from Akash, and the three of them, along with Arnav and Khushi, support her.

Naina, on the other hand, pursued a different path in life, despite being similar to her father's profession.

She was now one of the youngest officers in India's intelligence bureau, and Siddharth could not be more proud of her.

Advay was now a talented junior League cricketer with a promising future, much like her cousins who were also sports enthusiasts.

The junior League's top tennis and volleyball champions were Ankita and Mauli, the children of Sahil and Preeto.

Their cousin Mouni, Sheetal and Aman's daughter, won the junior spelling bee and is now training for the national championship.

Unfortunately, Nani and Buaji died three years ago in the same year.

Nani died of a sudden heart attack at home, surrounded by her family.

Buaji passed away in her sleep on the day of her late husband's death anniversary, which shocked the entire family because she showed no signs of illness.

The elders were devastated by the loss, but the children's antics helped them recover.

Khushi stood on the terrace, staring at the night sky, which had been brightened by the stars.

She smiled as she noticed them twinkle as strong muscular arms snaked around her waist.

She leaned in, enjoying the warmth of Arnav.

"You did not even hear me call out to you......Where is my baby lost?" Arnav asked, smiling.

"I was just wondering how life would have been if I had not softened my hardened heart." Khushi responded.

"Based on my experience, we would have both been miserable......Advay even though a handful wouldn't have been born....... Lulu would have been torn between two parents and would have ended up emotionally damaged, just like I was...... You would not have been able to help Naina through this difficult time...... I would not have had the privilege and honor of being your husband, soulmate, and love of your life........ The children would not have had a good relationship with Nani, Buaji, or Garima...... Khushi, you have healed this family. Your words and love have healed us...... It was through you that I discovered what love felt like...... Sahil and Preeto are now happy thanks to you...... Aman and Sheetal would not have been together if you had not returned to India. Akash and Payal's relationship would not have worked if you had not advised Payal to give him another chance. You brought us all together and are the glue that holds us all together...... I love you, Khushi...... Even when I die, I will always love you."

Khushi burst into tears and kissed Arnav, who returned the kiss with passion.

They pulled out thanks to the luck of oxygen and smiled at each other.

"There you are, guys." Payal's voice broke their reverie, and they were surprised to see the entire family on the terrace.

"What is going on?" Arnav asked, perplexed.

"Today is the day of the meteor shower, old man." Lulu teased Arnav and Khushi, who looked around to see that their neighbors were also standing on their terraces, looking up.

"It is actually happening." Mouni screamed as everyone looked up in amazement at the meteor shower, which left beautiful trails in the night sky.

The Guptas, Raizadas, Mathurs, Kapoors, and Malhotras have transformed their dysfunctional family into the best family.

More joy, prosperity, success, and wealth will come their way.
