FROM HIS FIRST WIFE Lord Lyonel Strong sired only one daughter and named her Celia.

He married her off as soon as possible, and so Celia Strong became Celia Thorne at the young age of ten and five.

Celia tried many times to conceive an heir for House Thorne, but all her offsprings were stillborns or died shortly before a moon from birth.

Sick of grieving, after she falls with child once again she asks for help from her bastard sister.

Some even rumour that blood magic was used to ensure the child's birth and livelihood. It might have happened or it might be words in the wind forged by the smallfolk, and may we never know  which is true.

But no matter the truth, on the hottest day of the seventh moon of 108 AC, lady Thorne gave birth to dark eyed daughter and named her Meera.

When lord Thorne came to meet his newborn child, he held the babe in his arms whispering words of affection to her. And right in that moment, his hunting grey hawk flew into the chamber from the opened window and circled the child four times as if to salute and welcome the girl into the world.

And they grew happier and happier as time passed, but I hope you didn't think that would last, it is Westeros after all.

The beloved Lord Thorne dies of a terrible fever and is succeeded by his second brother as his lady wife never sired a son. Celia and her daughter Meera are sent by the new Lord to King's Landing  where Celia's family serves. 

In the game of thrones there is no true winner. Is it worth what you have won, over what you had lost? We shall see.
