"Donghyuck, can you get some snacks?" Mark, who just woke up, asked. 

"Hmm.... you do it."

"No~ you do it."

"Whatever. I'll get the snacks, lazy ass." Donghyuck almost left the room before feeling a pair of arms wrap around his waist.

"Be careful, got it? Call me on your way back."

"You sound too worried. I'll be fine." Donghyuck put on his shoes and walked out. 

At the market...

He went to a market which his friend, Jay, worked at. He was planning to become a trainee at SM, though he started with a YouTube cover channel. Either way, Donghyuck supported him all the way through. 

He went through the food isle looking for some snack bags, especially some candy just for himself. Mark might try and steal it, but it was okay.

He put it on the conveyor belt and smiled at Jay.

"Hey Donghyuck! What have you been doing?" Jay smiled. They both were overjoyed to see each other. Especially Jay, considering he gets bored constantly. Besides, his best friend was always at the dorms.

"Fighting with Mark, nothing new. What about you?"

"My covers are blowing up!"

"When do you get off work? I wanna hang out." pouted Donghyuck.

"Like, 20 minutes. Wanna wait for me? We could go literally anywhere."

"I'll wait for you to get done. I am gonna call Taeyong to clear something up!" As he unlocked his phone, he got a call from Mark.

He decided to call back, for some odd reason. Mark wanted the younger to come home when he calls.

After 2 rings, Mark picked up. "Donghyuck, thank God you're alive."

"I've been out for 10 minutes. Why are you so worried all of a sudden?"

"Because we are besties, remember?"

"Yep, besties..."

"Donghyuck! I got off early!"

"Who the hell is that?"

"Really? Come on! Gotta go, Mark. Sorry!"

"The fuc-" Donghyuck hung up as he talked and talked to Jay. They went to a cafe then a shopping district.

With Mark...

5 hours. Donghyuck has been gone for 5 hours. Mark called three times. No answer.

"Hyuck, come back..." He was hurt to see his love not by his side. Lonely was all he felt. Until he got a call from Donghyuck himself.

"Donghyuck! Finally you answered!"

"Mark, calm down. I don't see why you care so much?" I love you, that's why.

"I just care a lot. Can you blame me? You would do the same too, right?"

"Duh, you cutie. Why wouldn't I ?" Mark internally screamed just by him saying cutie.

"Anyways, can you come back? I'm getting lonely."

"Me and Jay were just leaving so I'll be there in a bit!" 

"Jay...?" Mark could tell something was wrong. Who the hell was Jay? He heard a laugh coming from Donghyuck. 

"Bye Jay! See you tomorrow!" Mark was fuming, but he had to act cool for Donghyuck. Yep, just act like friends. That's all they're gonna be, after all.

"I'm on my way! We should go out sometime with Jay! He's really nice, you guys will be good friends for sure!" Donghyuck sounded truly happy. Mark just wanted the younger to laugh with him as much as he does with Jay.

"Okay. See you later." Mark hung up, as he collapsed on his bed.
