[Chapter 5] His Office
~ππ¦ππ'π€ βππ~
After the whole, "confessing my wrong doings" in the restaurant, I told myself from now on that I will treat, Jesse with respect the way he deserves. Well... what he should have gotten since the first day of living together, but no my stupid self was hurting the person I love... which wasn't right from the start.
I know what you all are thinking, "how could you call that love?" And you're right, how could I call that love? Truth be told, my dumbass was being stupid and acting the way I would with anyone else, but in fact I should have been treating him with kindness. Almost like he's a gentle flower.
'Which in that case, he was infact that.'
Anyways, right now I brought Jesse with me in the office. I thought, it would be a good idea for him to see where I work at, and get to know the staff better. All he knows is that I'm a business boss, that is really high up in the ranks.
Although it was a slight lie, but I didn't feel like scaring him away more then I already did. Believe me, in time I will eventually tell him what I actually do, but for right now, I'll just be a business boss.
"Hey, I'm hungry." Jesse suddenly says, turning his body around to look at me.
Even though, I'm not being my dominant self around him, I still like to have him somewhat close to me. So I decided to have him near me by putting him on my lap. Haha~ it's kinda funny of you really think about it.
I quickly came back to his question he asked me. "What would you like to eat love!? There's a variety of fast food restaurants in the cafeteria on the bottom floor you can choose from." I asked him.
"Hmmmm... I don't know. What do you recommend?" He cutely asked me.
"Uhhh, maybe Panda Express? They give you big portions, to the point where you'll have to take it togo." I recommend.
Jesse thought about my suggestion, for recommending his food choice. He had his right hand under his chin, making that "thinking face" everyone should know all too well. Maybe about 5-6 minutes, Jesse gave me a nod "yes" so then I gave him a smile, and told him to get off my lap so we could go down together.
I was hesitant to grab his hand, since it was just right there in my sight. But, knowing the stuff we- I did in the past... maybe that wouldn't be such a good idea.
"Sighs... baby steps Luke, you got this."
After contemplating with myself, probably making some weird facial expressions, but I didn't care as much, I continued to walk down the hall to where the elevators await us.
~πππ€π€π'π€ βππ~
After I decided on what to eat, thanks to Luke with his food choice, we quickly made our way to the elevators, after we left his office.
The elevator ding, and we were soon making our way down to the first floor. During the ride down, you could tell that the atmosphere was somewhat meh. After what, Luke'did back at the restaurant the other day, I got the hint that he was just doing his tuff boy act.
In the end, once we got home, I told him that I needed some space, and thankfully he was being a kind gentleman and sleeper on the couch I would only assume.
The elevator's door opened revealing the lobby's beautiful ground floor. I felt Luke's hand go on top of my left shoulder. Guessing he felt my nervousness once he put his hand on me, but knowing him, he wouldn't do something that would make me feel uncomfortable.
"After you Jesse." Luke says, with a kind tone in his voice. Before moving an inch, I quickly looked at him, giving Luke a soft smile, as well he doing the same towards me.
We began to walk to Panda Express, of course as planned beforehand. The lobby wasn't has full, like it was the other day. Of course, you had people checking in, and out of the hotel, but you also had a room full of hundreds of different voices speaking at one time.
Now, it's more quieter, but hey I'm not complaining. I was always the type to not hang in a large crowd, yet now that I'm thinking about it... Look how my life changed I'm just a few weeks.
I mean- don't get me wrong! At first I hated this marriage from the start with all my passion, but now after what happened at the restaurant the other day... Maybe I can start to lighten up a bit? And I most definitely mean just a bit.
With all this rambling to myself, I didn't notice that we made it to the place. The restaurant wasn't as packed like I thought it would be, in fact- it was the complete opposite.
"Welcome, to Panda Express! Order when you're ready."
I gave the employee a quick smile, before she went right in the back again. Luke and I, made our way to the line, and started to choose what we wanted to eat.
After a few minutes, I finally decided what I wanted. I waved the lady back, so she could take our order, and again showing her nice smile.
"What would you like to have sir?"
"Can I please have some white rice, orange chicken, and one egg roll please?"
The lady shook her head up and down, indicating she was getting my order reedy. While doing so, another person came and asked for Luke's order. What surprised me was that, he almost had the same things I had, but a little different with the rice choice.
Instead of getting white rice, Luke got brown rice, with small bits of mixed vegetables in it. Mom would always say; "don't judge a person by there looks." But instead of looks, it's food wise.
The sweet lady gave, Luke the same smile she gave me not to long ago, and told him to scoot down the line so she could get the next person's order.
Standing in front of the cash register, there was a different employee standing in front of us ready to tell us how much the food will cost.
"Will you have drinks included in your meal today gentleman?" The employee politely asked.
"Yes! We would like a large please." Luke decided to say something before I could even make the effort to speak.
The person nodded and gave us both our cups we asked for. He then told us our cost, which was only $12.56. Honestly, I wouldn't have expected nothing less coming from one of my favorite foods, since they do give you large portions, but also the cost to eat here is relatively cheap.
While I was rambling to myself, I didn't notice Luke had his hand on my waist for the longest now, not even getting fazed that some people had oh so "lovely" facial expressions.
Suddenly, he bend down to my height whispering in my ear saying something that made me go beet red all over my face.
"Since, people like to stare and make some nasty face expression towards us, why don't I give them a show? And that show being you love." He said while whispering in my ear.
I was trying my hardest not to act like that little stunt he pulled made me get embarrassed, except I quickly grabbed our cups we ordered and fast walked my little booty towards the soda machine. I knew, Luke could be mischievous and cheeky, but I didn't think he would do something like thi- actually no! I take it back, it's Luke we're talking about!
After he payed the guy, he took our food we ordered and walked towards where I was with a smirk on his face.
"Ready to go, Jesse?" He asked me.
"Y-yeah..." I nervously said, but more like studderd.
We began to walk towards the entrance when suddenly, Luke pulled me back towards him.
"W-what are y-" I didn't get the chance to finish my sentence because there was another pair of lips on them kissing me.
I felt Luke deepen the kiss by wrapping his free hand around my waist. Of course, you could hear people's discussed in the background, but this was part of his plan from the start anyways.
Eventually, he let me go, letting me catch my breath, and him just whipping his mouth full of pride, of what he just did.
"Now we can go." He said, reopening the door for me, but before we could leave someone just had to say something.
"You f*cking Homosexuals! Go back to Hell where you came from!"
"I would be lying if I said that remark didn't hurt my feelings just now."
I didn't know what to say, but just watch as the scenes unfold in front of me. Luke, being the person he is, didn't necessarily take the comment to well. He told me to wait outside in the hotel lobby, but me being my persistent self wanted to stay and see what was gonna happen.
I tried staying, but seeing as though Luke had this "murderous" look on his face, I didn't dare argue about it.
~ππ¦ππ'π€ βππ~
After I told Jesse to wait outside for me, he still consisted on coming back in, after I told him nicely. So therefore, I had to show him that I wasn't playing and gave him a look that meant business.
He quickly backed away afterwards, and listened to what I told him to do. I know later he's probably gonna hate me for doing so, but Jesse just doesn't know how I actually am, and hopefully he'll never know until I tell him to.
But enough waisting time, it times like this that make me this way, but I suppose the person learns their lesson.
I payed my attention back on the rude ass customer, who so boldy said what he said to me and my Wife just a few minutes ago. Thinking that I should probably do this "professional" and not trying to get this ok outta hand.
"Listen here sir, because I'm only gonna say this once alright? I don't give a damn, rather you like gays, or not! BUT! You will not, disrespect me, and especially not my wife. Also I'll have you know, that I'm a pretty big deal in this industry "you're so happily staying at" and that I can quickly make you go away in a snap of a finger." I stopped for a second, so I could really get into his personal space. "And best believe, you don't want to get on my bad side."
After telling the dude that I meant business, he gave me a irritated smirk where I personally didn't care. Right before I left, Panda Express I looked right back at the dude and showed him my little friend I would always keep with me at all times.
"You have a nice day now."
I walked out the restaurant and made my way towards, Jesse who was waiting for me in the lobby. He had a worried facial expression, but quickly changed away once he saw I was walking towards him.
"Ready to go love?" I asked him.
Jesse gave me an uneasy face, which I couldn't blame him. He probably thought, I was gonna do something stupid, but honestly he wasn't half wrong. Just knowing that he was outside the restaurant, believe me this could have gone a completely different direction.
"Y-yes..." He suddenly says, bringing me back to reality and out of my thoughts.
"Alright, let's go." I held out my hand for Jesse to hold onto, and surprisingly he took my hand. Afterwards, we began walking back to the elevators, with our hands intertwined.

The boy's made it back into Luke's office, sitting down there food they got from downstairs on his desk. After doing so, Luke's bodyguards came into the room, and quietly stayed into their designated spots.
Luke gave his men a knowing look, and one by one they soon left the room, giving Luke and Jesse some space alone, but knowing their bodyguards was outside watching for any sign of danger.Β
"Do you have any hand sanitizer?" Jesse soon asked a question.
Luke gave his wife a somewhat confused face, seeing as though he probably didn't know if he had some in the beginning.
He quickly got up from his chair, and started looking around the room for the item his wife asked for. Being 10 minutes, of looking all the places he thought it could be, he decided to just ask his assistant for some instead.
"Martha, would you be a dear and give me some hand sanitizer, please?" Luke asked his assistant over the phone.
"Yes sir, it shall be there in 5 minutes." She replied.
"Thank you, sweetie!"
"It's not a problem boss, just doing my job... See you soon." She soon hanged up the phone.
Luke gave her a quick smile, knowing that she couldn't see it over the phone, but still did so anyways.
"Y-you know..." Jesse began to say. "You didn't have t-to go all the trouble just for some hand sanitizer."
"Of course I did! You're my wife, and I promised you that I was gonna treat you better... Even if I have to work my ass off for it! It'll still be worth it in the end."
Jesse was about to say something, but Luke's office door was suddenly slammed open by one of his bodyguards.
"Boss! He's back..."
Jesse didn't know what he meant by that, but quickly putting his gaze on Luke said it all in silence.
"I need you to take Jesse somewhere now!" He comanded in a serious tone.
"Yes sir!"
"W-wait! What's going on?" Jesse quickly asked before he was dragged outside the office.
"Just an old acquaintance of mine... He was supposed to be dead".
