OUTFIT AT THE TOP

"All right, so I found some cool two bedrooms in the Mission District, but they're pretty expensive. A couple in Haight and Ashbury, also expensive..." Stiles explains. "What about Berkeley?" Scott asks "Don't a lot of students live around there." Veronika says. "Yeah, yeah, we could try Knob Hill. But, the Jeep would probably burn through a lot of clutches." Stiles says. Veronika and Scott look at each other and then at Stiles "You're bringing the Jeep?" They both ask at the same time. "You guys know the plan, okay? No one gets left behind. That's the plan. Lydia and Ronnie aren't gonna have a problem getting into Stanford. Kira's thinking USF. Malia's, uh, gonna, you know, she'll figure something out, okay. The plan's perfect." Stiles says "Or we could also wait until we actually get into college and then figure out where to live." Scott says. "I don't even know what I want to do yet, I've been to college a shit ton plus i don't think i can leave liam behind." Veronika says. "Look guys I have a vision. Okay? And it is a beautiful vision. Don't ruin the vision, Okay, we can check out the East Bay. Haven't looked at Oakland yet, you know and I keep forgetting that Ronnie's actually a thousand years old and also Liam will be fine without you." Stiles says. Veronika looks at Scott. "You alright? You starting to feel it?" She asks Scott. "No. Just thinking." He says. "About what?" Stiles asks. "Senior year." Veronika says. Scott looks at her. "How is it you know what's exactly on my mind?" Scott asks. "It's not that hard to know you're just thinking about senior year, every new senior does." Veronika says."Senior year, come on. that's...that's nothing. That's going to be easy." Stiles says. "It's more like something Deaton told me once. You guys ever hear of "regression to the mean?" Scott asks. "No, I don't think so." Stiles says. "Life can't ever be all bad or all good eventually things have to come back to the middle." Veronika says. "Exactly. So think about the last few months. Things have been good, right? but not amazing." Scott says. "Yeah, but no one has tried to kill us in six months either." Stiles says. "Which is a good thing." Veronika says. "Ronnie's right." Stiles says. "We've been pretty much in the middle for awhile...Which means, at some point, the scale has to tip one way or the other. Things are gonna get really good again.... "Or really bad." Veronika and Stiles say at the same time. "You think it's been long enough." Stiles asks them. "Yes I do." Veronika states. "YES!" Liam groans while chained to a tree. "HEY! Trying to have an adult conversation over here." Stiles says. "Um if we're being technical I'm way older than you guys." Veronika says. "All right, you're two years older than me, and I'm fine. Just let me go." Liam says Veronika, Scott and Stiles walk over to him. "It's not that we don't trust you." Scott says while Veronika takes the chains off. "It's that I don't trust you" Stiles says. "It was one slip up!" Liam exclaims. Veronika laughs and shakes her head. "A slip up? A dozen calls to the sheriff's department about a monstrous dog boy running around the streets of beacon hills? Naked?" Stiles says. "Um Li?" Veronika asks. "Why were you naked?" Scott asks. "It was really hot out that night and it's not like you haven't see anything before Vee." Liam says. "Liam you know that shit is suppose to be a secret. Veronika says loudly. "What the hell does he mean?" Scott and Stiles ask. "Um nothing not-" Veronika starts to say before getting interrupted by Liam. "Me and Vee occasionally you know, have sex." Liam says causally. "What, you two, Oh my god." Stiles groans. "Okay enough of that. Nik I can't stop you from having sex with my Beta but chill out with it. Geez I smell the sex on you guys but anyways, are you sure you're okay." Scott asks Liam. "It won't happen again. I'm in complete and total control." Liam says and Scott and Stiles walk away. Veronika looks at Liam with a sad smile. "Open your hands Li." She says and Liam opens them and she sees the claw marks. "Oh Liam. Why couldn't you stay calm that night." She asks while they walk towards the jeep. "Vee, you're the only person who can calm me down. you're my anchor and I didn't have you with me that night but you're my bestfriend and I love you so I'll be okay." Liam says. Veronika looks at him with adoration in her eyes. "I love you too darling." She says and Liam blushes at the nickname.

In the jeep on their way too Malia's house Liam keeps asking questions. "Is it a party?" Liam asks. "It's not a party." Stiles says. "Then what's at midnight?" He asks again "You're bedtime Li." Veronika says. "Then why aren't the other girls going?" Liam says. "Um Li I'm a girl and I'm going. That was very rude thing to say." Veronika comments and Liam looks at her with the puppy dog eyes. "Li those puppy dog eyes don't work on me you know this." Veronika says and rolls her eyes. "I didn't mean it okay, Vee i'm sorry." Liam says but Veronica ignores him. "They're meeting us there, okay? And just stop asking questions, all right? It's a senior thing. You'll know when you're a senior." Stiles says. "You guys having trouble with your phones?" Scott asks and then the jeep cuts off. "Oh what the hell." Stiles says. "You out of gas?" Liam asks. "No, It's electrical. Probably the alternator again." Stiles says. "I already offered to get the jeep fixed dumbass." Veronika says. "No Ronnie it's fine." Stiles says and then him and Scott get out of the car. "Oh Bloody hell." Veronika says while shaking her head. Lighting strikes down about twenty feet behind the jeep making Liam and Veronika jump. "Uh guys." Liam calls out. "Guys stay in the car Scott says and the lighting strikes down behind him and Stiles. Veronika moves her body in between the seats and turns the keys making the jeep turn on. she then sticks her head out the window. "Hey dumbasses let's go." Veronika says. They finally pull up to where Malia and her dad where and she walks up to the jeep and kisses Stiles "You boys do remember I own a gun right?" Malia's dad says. "I'm here to Henry." Veronika says and waves at him. A little while later they're all in the hospital waiting room dropping Liam off. Malia and Veronika are by the front desk when Scott and Stiles walk up. "Hey guys if you guys were going away and your significant other said don't worry go have fun what would you think they were talking about?" Stiles asks them both. "Fun like bowling." Malia says "Or sex with other guys." Veronika says looking at them and Scott looks at Stiles. "Okay now I'm worried." He says. When they all find out there was and accident on the road Kira is taking home Scott tells them he's going to go get her and that he'll meet them at the school.

Veronika, Stiles and Malia are all waiting in front of the school for Scott and Kira and Veronika senses someone coming towards them. she then whips around and grabs the person pinning them to the ground. "Vee it's me." Liam explains. "God dammit Liam what are you doing here. I could have seriously hurt you." Veronika tells him and helps him up off the ground. "Scotts in trouble." Liam says and when Veronika hears where he's at they all run towards it. When they get there they see a random werewolf on the ground and they see another werewolf with his claws in Scotts stomach. Veronika goes to help but Stiles stops her. She then sees Scott take the claws out of his stomach and snaps the guys arm. "I don't know who you are, or what you thought you were going to do but i'll give you a choice.. You can stay and deal with a thousand year old original alpha hybrid...Or you can run." Scott tells him and the guy looks at Veronika. She smirks and waves at him.

"I'd run before you no longer have a heart." Veronika says smiling while her eyes glow red and the guy runs off. The other werewolf gets up back to normal and looks at the pack.

"You guys don't remember me do you?" The werewolf asks and Veronika looks at him in shock remembering that voice. "I guess i look a little different since the fourth grade." He says and smiles. "Oh bloody hell." Veronika mumbles out and he hears her and sends her a soft smile. "Theo?" Scott says. "You know him?" Malia asks. "They used to. Trust me I never thought I'd see you all again. A couple of months ago I heard of two Alphas in Beacon hills, When I found out their names were Scott McCall and Veronika Mikaelson I couldn't believe it. Not just two Alphas but a True Alpha and the Original Alpha Hybrid." Theo says. "What the hell do you want?" Veronika asks him in a cold voice and Malia, Kira and Liam all look at her confused on why she's being cold towards him but Scott and Stiles know why. "I came back to Beacon Hills.. Back home with my family... Because I want to be apart of your pack." Theo says and Stiles looks at him warily. Everyone but Veronika then walks off. Veronika then walks closer to him and they are now chest to chest. "What the hell are you really doing here Theo?" Veronika asks him. "I already told you why I'm here." Theo says and shrugs. Veronika then grabs him by his throat and pins him up against the wall. "That's not a good enough explanation love." Veronika tells him and stares into his eyes remembering how much she loved him when she does it distracts her and gives Theo the opportunity to switch their positions. "I also came back for you." Theo tells her and smirks. Veronika listens to his heartbeat and hears that its steady and knows that he isn't lying about that. "You left me Theo. You said you loved me then left." Veronika says to him. "I know and I regret doing that everyday because I still love you." Theo tells her. Veronika looks into his eyes and then pushes him off of her. "I have somewhere to be. I'll see you around love." Veronika says to him and smirks walking away.

When Veronika gets to the library she walks up to the pack. Lydia turns around and sees her and runs to her bringing her into a tight hug. "Nikki where the hell were you?" Lydia asks her and lets go of her and they walk to the bookshelf. "Taking care of some business." Veronika tells her and they all start to write their initials on the shelf. When Veronika is done writing hers she hands the marker to Scott. He writes his initials and pauses for a second before writing Allison's. Veronika looks at them sadly. "She would have been with us." Stiles says. Veronika wraps her arms around Lydia. "She still is.." Veronika says softly and smiles
