Stiles, Scott, Theo and Deaton all run into the station. The first thing they see is smeared blood and they all follow the trail of blood. Stiles freezes when he sees Lydia on the ground and Veronika trying to stop the bleeding. Theo pushes him out of the way and takes off his belt he tries to move Veronika out of the way but she turns to him and glows her eyes. When she sees who it is she sighs. "Veronika let me help." Theo says and he wraps his belt around Lydia to stop the bleeding. "Stiles come on." Scott says while nudging him but he doesn't move. Lydia looks up at him "I'm fine. Go help Tracy." Lydia tells him and he nods and then him and Scott run off. Veronika looks at her hands and sees all the blood on it. Theo looks at her and sees veins under her eyes. He puts his hand on her cheek making her look at his eyes. "Luna control it." Theo says to her softly and Veronika closes her eyes.

"Stiles." Melissa says as she walks up to the group and they all turn around. "How bad is it?" Stiles questions. "It could have been worse. Veronika, Theo good job. You both probably just saved her life." Melissa says. Veronika sighs and looks at Theo and sees that he's already looking at her and he smiles. Veronika then walks off towards a bathroom to wash her hands off. She sits there running her hands under the water but it seems like the blood won't come off. Theo walks up to her and grabs her chin softly making her look into his eyes. "I know you have control. You calmed down okay. Lydia's fine. Now lets get you home."Theo says to her and grabs her hand intertwining their fingers and leads her out of the hospital.

When they get to Veronika's house they walk in and they sit on her couch. "Thank you... for helping save Lydia." Veronika says softly while looking at Theo. "I'd do anything to help you." Anyone know where that term comes from?" She asks and Veronika raises her hand and Ms. Finch nods at her "Greek mythology. It's a lion's head with the body of a goat and a snake as a tail." Veronika explains. "Good job Veronika that's correct. But that does bring us to our next topic of mutation as you know from the reading DNA is a fragile molecule. Right Scott?" Ms. Finch says and Scott looks up at her. "Or did you miss last night's reading as well?" She asks "Kind of." Scott says. "Kind off of yes?" Ms. Finch asks and Scott sighs "Mostly yes." Scott replies and Ms. Finch nods "Well then, thank you for another helpful transition topic. Drop forms. All those acutely aware they don't belong in this class should fill one out." Ms. Finch says and hands a couple of people a form before dropping the rest on her desk and Veronika scoffs and then the bell rings.

"Did you guys get to see Lydia?" Scott asks Stiles and Malia as they walk up to him, Veronika and Kira in the library. "Nope tried using my free period but she's still in the ICU and no one except family is allowed to see her." Stiles says and Veronika rolls her eyes. "Well we got one thing." Malia says and slams the Beastiary on the table. "Anything in there about half werewolves and half kanimas?" Kira asks and starts to look through the book. "A Chimera.." Scott trails off and Stiles looks at him weirdly. "Uh what now?" Stiles asks. "A Chimera. It's a creature made up of different parts of different creatures." Veronika explains and they all nod. "If Liam found two burial sites that means Tracy isn't the only one." Scott says "But who's the other one? And why bury them." Kira asks. "Deaton thinks it's apart of their process." Scott says. "Yeah the people in the masks." Malia says and they all look at each other.

Veronika and Malia walk into Tracy's room and sit down on her bed and Malia sighs. "You did what you could Mal. No one blames you." Veronika says softly rubbing her shoulder. Lydia says "Yeah Kira's working on that right now." Malia says and Lydia hums "Me and Stiles couldn't find anything on the author we think it's a pen name." Veronika explains. "In a small New England town, teenagers are taken in the night and buried alive. Days later, they emerge transformed wreaking havoc and spreading terror commanded by an ancient order of parascientists known only as The Dread Doctors." Lydia reads off and looks at them. " Sounds pretty familiar." She says and Malia and Veronika nod. "How does it end?" Lydia questions. "It doesn't. This is only volume one and there's not a volume two." Veronika explains. "So is this just a novel.. or someone's prediction?" Lydia asks
