"Help! Stop!" Quinn's pleas make everyone quickly get up and rush to the living room.

Quinn screams as Alana tries to help her but Chad pulls her back by the arm. "Lana, wait, wait!"

It's dead silent in the apartment as the group stares at Quinn's bedroom door. Mindy breaks the silence, "Run."

As soon as she finishes her sentence, Ghostface bursts through the door with Quinn in their grasp then throws her onto Anika, making her fall and scream. 

Chad grabs Tara and Liam grabs Arianna and runs out of the apartment, while Tara and Alana yell, "Guys, come on!"

Ghostface stares at Mindy and Alana. "Oh, fuck." After Mindy says that, Ghostface slashes her in her left arm, making her groan in pain. 

"Mindy!" Alana grabs Ghostface's leg. "Stay the fuck back!" Ghostface strangles her, pinning her to the floor, then stabs her in the same spot Richie Kirsch stabbed her on the thigh a year prior. He tilts his head at her as she's gasping for air then proceeds to pick her up and pin her against the wall, passionately stabbing her in the stomach, making her scream in pain. 

"Hey!" Ghostface takes the knife out of Alana's stomach and turns around right as Sam hits them in the head with the knife block, making them and Alana fall to the floor.

Ghostface gets up and slams the front door shut as Sam gets Alana up off the floor and takes her, Anika, and Mindy to Quinn's room. Sam shuts the door as Ghostface tries to get a swipe at her and locks the door.

Alana leans over in pain, covering her stomach while Anika covers her thigh as Ghostface bangs on the door. 

"Lana, look at me." Alana looks at Anika, making her continue, "You'll be okay. We-" Anika stops herself when she notices the banging stopped.

Sam turns to Mindy and whispers, "Mindy, bathroom door. Hurry!"

Mindy gets up holding her arm and walks into the bathroom and sees Quinn's boyfriend dead in the bathtub. "Oh, fuck! That guy's dead." She screams as Ghostface appears in front of her and tries to get into the bathroom with her. Mindy tries to shut the door but can't with Ghostface pushing into it and gets pulled back into Quinn's room. 

Her and Sam slam the door and Mindy as Mindy tries to lock it, Ghostface bangs and picks the door, making it hard for Mindy to lock the door. After she locks it, Mindy leans against it as Sam pushes Quinn's dresser in front of it, holding the door shut.

As they try to keep the door shut and Ghostface out of the room, Alana whimpers in pain and tries to stop her bleeding with Anika's assistance. 

"Hey!" Sam hears Danny yell from across the alley and runs to the window, opening it. "Shit."

"Don't worry, I got you." He grabs a ladder from is apartment and puts it through his window and into Quinn's window. 

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Sam looks at her boyfriend confused.

"Do you have a better idea?" Danny looks at her, still moving the ladder in her direction.

"Fuck. No." She reaches for the ladder and grabs it, placing it on the windowsill. 

"You have to come one at a time."

Alana groans as Sam turns around. "You three go first. Mindy!"

"What? No. Someone needs to hold the door. I'll send Anika and Lana next. Go!"

Ghostface continues hanging on the door as Sam climbs onto the ladder. 

"Sam, come on. Eyes on me, baby. Keep your eyes on me." 

Sam looks down. "Oh, shit. Oh my god."

"I got you, baby."

The ladder shakes, making Sam gasp and Danny grab the ladder to steady it. "Baby, come on!"

"It won't hold me. Okay." Sam looks at Danny in pure fear.

"It ain't going anywhere. It's gonna hold you, I promise." 

"Danny." Sam moves across the ladder, watching her movements.

"I got you. You ain't going nowhere. Let's go."

From the apartment, Mindy yells, "Lana's losing a lot of blood!"

Anika looks at her girlfriend. "Mindy! Say something more positive!"

"Eyes on me, Sam. Come on, baby."

Sam almost falls and starts panting.

"Come on. I got you. Come on, I got you."

Sam gets to his window and Danny grabs her to pull her inside his apartment. 

Sam turns and looks back into Quinn's room. "Come on! Let's go! Come on, Mindy! Let's go, we got to move!"

Mindy pushes the dresser closer to the bed and moves to Alana and Anika. "Lana, I know it won't be easy, but you have to get up."

Alana immediately shakes her head. "You and Anika can go first. I'll be right behind you, I promise."

Mindy and Anika look at each other before Mindy nods and moves to the window and gets across the ladder slowly but surely. 

Anika looks at Alana. "Lana, you have to move. I'll be right behind you, okay?"

Alana looks at her with fear in her eyes. "No. You go and I'll be behind you. You have to save yourself, you're more important than I am. Please go."

"You're important too and we need to get medical attention. The quicker you get up and across that ladder, the quicker we can get you help."

Alana hesitates but nods and gets up with Anika's help, making her way over to the window. "I can't do it."

Anika helps her onto the ladder. "Yes, you can. I'm right behind you."

Alana gets off and moves Anika onto it. "You go first. Please, Ani."

Anika gets onto the ladder and gets across it, yelling at Alana, "Lana, come on!"

Alana slowly gets onto the ladder and makes her way across it, whimpering in pain. 

Ghostface makes their way into the room and slowly walks over to the window, watching Alana slowly and sufferingly make her way across the ladder. The others look past her in fear for her life. 

"What?" Alana stops moving. 

Sam looks at her. "Alana, you have to move right now!"

Alana looks behind her and screams in fear as the others tell her to keep going.

Ghostface sticks their knife into the windowsill and stares at Alana as she starts moving across the ladder again. 

Right as she grabs Sam's hand, Ghostface starts shaking the ladder to make Alana fall to the ground, making Alana scream. 

Sam gets a good enough grip on Alana's hand right as Alana falls off the ladder and Ghostface grabs their knife and walks away. 

Alana looks up at Sam. "Sam! I'm gonna slip. I can't hold on."

Danny reaches and grabs her arm, pulling her into his apartment.

Sam pulls her into a hug as she cries.

After Alana and Mindy get their wounds checked and tended to, Alana sits between the latter and Tara, with Anika on Tara's other side, and Chad and Liam standing on either side of the ambulance, with Arianna leaning into Liam. Sam watches them and the crime scene from afar, smoking her cigarette.

As Danny walks away from Sam, Ethan walks over to the crime scene and ducks under the tape, looking around at everything. He sees Alana with a bandage on her leg and around her waist and gets upset with his father. "Lani."

Chad shakes his head and walks over to Ethan, grabbing his shirt and slamming him into the cop car next to him. "Where were you?"

Ethan looks at Chad in both shock and confusion. "What? When?"

"Last night!"

"What? I had Econ. You know this."

"Bullshit, man! You disappear, and my sister and your girlfriend almost get killed!"

Ethan looks at Alana for a second then back at Chad. "Dude, I was in a study hall with a hundred other people. You can ask any of them."

Chad looks at him for a second then lets him go. "Fuck, man." 

Ethan looks into the alley and sees all the policemen and detectives. "Who?"

"Quinn."

Ethan walks over to the ambulance, but before he can get to his girlfriend to comfort her, Liam steps in front of him. "I don't think so, Landry. You stay away from her."

Alana stands up and moves around Liam to get to Ethan, looking at her brother. "Liam stop it." She looks at Ethan as Liam huffs and walks away. "Hi."

Ethan looks down at her. "Should you even be up and around? And what happened?" He obviously already knew but wanted to hear her point of view on it.

Alana looks down at her thigh. "Ghostface came to the apartment and tried to kill me and everyone else. I was the only one who got majorly hurt. Mindy was cut decently deep in the arm but she's fine other than that." She looks back up at Ethan. "Where'd you go last night?"

"Baby, I had Econ. I told you this when you called me last night."

Alana nods, not fully believing him. "Yeah, I know."

Ethan carefully pulls her into a hug. "I will do anything to protect you. Please remember that, okay?"

Alana nods, inhaling his scent of vanilla, fruit, and cedar wood. "Yeah. I will." She sees Gale runs over to Sam, Tara, and Bailey and pulls away from Ethan to look at him. "I'll be right back." She gives him a quick kiss before limping over to Gale, and two of the Carpenter sisters. "Hey, Gale. I'm sorry I punched you."

Gale looks at her. "No, you're not."

"I'm not." Alana slightly smiles.

Gale smiles back and looks at Bailey. "You're the cop, right?" Bailey nods and Gale continues, "I did some digging on your first two victims, and I found something. I know where the masks are coming from."

Bailey moves closer to her as Kirby pulls up and gets out of her car. "Show me."

"Ladies." The girls all look at Kirby.

Alana smiles. "Hey, Kirby."

Gale just looks at her confused. "Kirby?"

Kirby looks at her and nods. "Gale."

Sam looks at Gale. "She's with the FBI."

"She's a child. When did they start letting children into the FBI?"

"I'm thirty."

"Well, you look like a zygote."

"I have a gun, Gale." Kirby puts her hand on her gun holster. 

Gale stares at her gun for a second before looking away. "Okay, fine. You're gonna want to see this, too."

And that is how Alana and her friends, along with Bailey, Gale, and Kirby ended up walking in an extremely creepy alley with Ghostface propaganda. Alana is walking next to Ethan in the back, holding his hand for both comfort and support to walk. "This entire thing gives me the creeps." She looks up at Ethan to see him already looking at her.

"I won't let anything hurt you, okay? I got you." Ethan leans down and kisses her forehead.

Alana smiles, despite everything going on. "I know. Thank you." She leans up and kisses him quickly.

Bailey watches the young couple in front of him with rage boiling in his veins. He should've just killed her when he had the chance. She distracts Ethan more and more from what they're supposed to do, and he has becoming more hesitant on going with the plan and Bailey can't have that.

"Jason and Greg were little Atlanta rich boys. Apparently, they used fake names to rent this place." Gale leads the group of eleven down the alleyway. 

"How did you find it?"

"It's called "investigative journalism" for a reason. How didn't you find it? Weren't you tracking them?" Gale looks at Kirby. 

"I went through their financial records dozens of times. This was not in any of them. Doesn't make sense." 

"Don't worry. I'm just really good at my job. You'll get there." 

Kirby sighs and rolls her eyes at the older woman.

Gale unlocks and opens the door, and everyone walks inside the creepy, old building after her.

The group walks up some stairs and Gale unlocks yet another gate. 

"What is this place? What's with all the security?"

Gale turns the lights on, and everyone looks around. "It's a movie theater."

"It's not just a theater. It's a shrine."

The group collectively hears creaking and some sort of machinery moving and looks and walks toward the sound. 

Alana moves past everyone and goes to her dad's Stab 3 movie stuff, whispering, "Oh my god." She touches the glass looking at the case's contents. 

"They've got the whole goddamn franchise."

Alana looks at her before looking back at her dad's stuff. "Woah." She feels Ethan's hands on her waist as she examines Roman's belongings. "This was all his." She looks up at her boyfriend. 

Bailey's voice draws Alana's attention away from Ethan and toward Bailey. "You all have been through so much." 

Alana notices Ethan roll his eyes at the man's words. "What was that for?"

"Nothing to worry your pretty little head about, Lani." Ethan smiles and kisses her cheek before walking away to look somewhere else. 

Alana watches him walk away with a look of confusion plastered all over her face, but before she can question him about it, she feels a presence behind her and turns to see Chad. "Oh hey."

Chad had seen Alana over at her father's stuff and grew worried about her, so he walked over to check on her, but he didn't want to tell her that, so he settled with, "How ya feeling?" He puts his arm around her shoulder.

"I could be better." She leans into him for comfort and support.

Ethan watches the two of them from afar and feels his anger grow the more he watches. He knows he can just look away, but he simply can't. He knew Chad and Alana were close and friendly, but the way Chad was being was like he had a crush on her, and Ethan hated that thought. Alana was his and no one else's. 

Tara's voice brings him back to reality, "Hey, how'd they all this stuff? I mean. Isn't this evidence?" 

"Well, cops like money and evidence can get lost pretty easily." She looks at Kirby and Bailey. "Present company excluded of course."

Chad makes his way over to Mindy and Alana makes her way over to Ethan. "Um, why am I here exactly? My alibi checks out."

"So I can keep an eye on you, roomie."

Mindy gives Ethan an 'I'm watching you' look, making Alana look at her. "Mindy stop."

"The killer must have found this place before he murdered Jason and Greg. And then he took the masks off the mannequins. All mine, from Stu and Billy to Amber and Richie."

Alana and Sam both make their way to the stage and walk over to their fathers' robes and knives. Alana hears her father and looks up at him. "Now? Really?"

Roman ignores her tone. "Isn't this the coolest thing you've ever seen? It's like a movie set."

Alana shakes her, disagreeing with her father's words. "Dad, this isn't a movie. It's real life."

"But it can be a movie with Ms. Weathers over there." Roman points at Gale, making Alana look over at her. He then looks back and notices her bandages. "What the fuck happened? Who did it?"

Alana looks back at her dad. "I uh- Sam, Tara, Arianna, and Quinn's apartment got attacked by Ghostface last night. They seemed to go after me the most and I was the most intently injured. Stabbed in the stomach and the thigh where Richie got me last year. Quinn was the only death." She feels tears well up in her eyes.

Roman looks over at Ethan, who's looking at a case with the rope to hang Principal Himbrey in the original Woodsboro killings. "Where was Ethan at?"

"He said he was at Econ or whatever it was, but he normally doesn't have them at night, so I don't know what to believe anymore."

Roman looks back at his daughter. "Do you really think he'd hurt his own girlfriend? Who he clearly loves."

Alana whips her head back to her dad. "What? Did you just say love?"

"Lana, he clearly does. And I know after what happened last, you're scared to let someone in again and lose them, but you have to see that he's deeply in love with you."

Alana sniffles and wipes her tears. "I can't lose someone else. I already lost Wes."

"Alana, honey, I know but you can't be scared forever. Ethan's a good kid and he'll do anything for you. You have to know that."

"I know he will but everyone I get close to leaves in one way or another. I can't lose him too."

"Try talking to him. Maybe he'll find a way to reassure you that he won't leave you."

Before she can respond, she sees Liam's reflection and turns to him, annoyed. "What?"

Liam looks at her before pointing at the glass case behind her. "Who are you talking to?"

"No one."

Chad's voice keeps him from saying anything more on the matter, "So, somebody killed these chucklefucks and took over?"

Gale looks at him. "Someone who believes Alana and Arianna masterminded Woodsboro together." This makes the said girls look at one another quickly before looking away uncomfortably.

"If this were a normal Stab movie, this would be the killer's lair." 

"Which means this isn't a normal Stab movie."

This makes everyone go silent before Tara storms off and everyone looks at her. 

Alana walks over and sits on the stair with her head in her hands. 

Chad walks over to her and sits next to her, nudging her with his shoulder. "Hey, pal."

Alana looks up at him and smiles. "Hi."

Chad looks around. "You gotta admit that this is pretty cool." 

Alana laughs. "I guess so. It is weird seeing stuff from the other murders and victims and killers." She looks at the case containing her dad's belongings again.

"It is weird but cool at the same time. I mean, you can see the past and learn from it, ya know?" Chad looks back at Alana to see her already looking at him with a look of impression on her face and laughs softly. "What?"

Alana shakes her head. "Nothing. Just that was really wise. I'm impressed, Meeks."
