Alana walks into Sam, Tara, Arianna, and Quinn's apartment after showering and changing and doesn't see Sam. "Where's Sam." She looks at Tara.

"I don't know."

Alana sighs and sits next to Ethan laying her head on his shoulder. "Why are we watching the news? We aren't old."

Ethan just shrugs making Alana laugh.

"Y'all are wei-" She stops herself seeing the news headline. "Chad, go get Sam." She gets up and runs to Arianna's room rapidly knocking on her door. "Ari, get out here right now."

"Go away."

"Ari there's been a murder so please come out here."

Arianna looks at Liam with a confused look before getting out of bed and opens the door to see Alana. "A murder?"

"Yes. I don't know who but please get out her-" Alana sees her brother in Arianna's room but ignores it. "Please come out here. Both of you."

Arianna bites her lip and grabs Liam's hand then walks out of her room, closing the door.

Alana sighs and walks back into the living room seeing Sam and Danny walking in and smiles. "Hey Danny." She walks over and hugs him.

"Hey Ala." He smiles and hugs her back.

Alana pulls away and walks over to the couch sitting next to Ethan and looking at the TV.

Arianna watches the TV nervously and rests her head on Liam's shoulder.

The TV reporter says, "The police gave the victims names. Jason Carvey and Greg Buck-"

Mindy gasps, "That's that chose from our film studies class. The one obsessed with Argento." She looks at everyone else.

"Found at the scene were multiple Ghostface masks. A character popularized by the Stab movies."

Alana starts panicking. "Oh my god. I can't do this shit again."

Arianna lifts her head from Liam's shoulder. "You've gotta be fucking kidding me."

Tara looks up at Sam slowly.

Sam looks at Arianna and Tara. "Pack a bag. We leave in ten." She walks into the kitchen.

Arianna lets go of Liam's hand and follows Sam. "Sam, wait!"

"Sam." Tara also gets up and follows Sam. "Sam. Sa-" She sees her looking at the knife block and grab the biggest one. "Sam ho- hol- hold on. Let's talk about this for a second." She follows her back into the living room. "Cause this might not have anything to do with us." She looks at the TV and looks and points at it looking back at Sam. "We don't know-"

Sam cuts her off, "Tara. This isn't a coincidence! You knew him!"

Tara looks at the TV for a second again. "Barely."

Sam looks at the twins. "Chad, Mindy, back me up."

"I mean it is a little bit..."

"...Close to home." Mindy eats a piece of popcorn.

Sam looks back at Tara. "See?"

Tara thinks and turns to Quinn. "Wait Quinn. Your dad's a cop right? Can you call him and find out what's going on?" She turns back to him. "Before you make the unilateral decision to abandon mine and Ari's college educations and flee the fucking state!"

Quinn pulls her phone out and dials Bailey's number "I'm calling him now." She puts her phone up to her ear.

"Thank you."

Sam's phone rings and everyone except Ethan looks over in its direction. 

Alana starts panicking again. "Sam? Who is it?" She goes stand up but gets pulled down by Ethan and looks at him confused. "What's that for?"

"Nothing."

Sam looks at her phone and reads the contact name before hanging up.

"Then why did you pull me down?" She notices that Sam's phone stopped ringing and looks at Sam. "Who was it?"

"Why did everyone just freak out when her phone rang?" Ethan slightly smiles confused.

Everyone looks over at him and Anika speaks up, "You gotta keep up my dude."

Alana grabs her jacket and puts her shoes on before out the door with Sam. "Are we really sure this has anything to do with us?" She looks at her. "I mean it is New York and Halloween season and people adore Ghostface for some sick and twisted reason."

Sam shakes her head. "This isn't a coincidence, Lana."

Alana nods and tries to keep up with Sam, as she's walking really fast. "No- I know but it's Jason and he was really creepy so maybe-" 

Sam cuts her off, "I still don't believe that."

Alana sighs. "Ok fine." She opens the door to leave before hearing Tara tell Sam to slow down and turns around to see her and Arianna. "Why are you tw-" 

Sam cuts her off again, "Tara, Ari, no. Get back inside, lock the door."

"Seriously? Now you don't wanna stick together?" Tara looks at her sister with raised eyebrows.

Sam looks at both her sisters and sighs. "Fine." She starts walking towards the police station.

Tara grabs Arianna's hand and follows Sam.

Alana just stands there watching the sisters walks away. "Why do I have to come? I mean I was perfectly fine in the apartment with everyone else."

Sam stops walking and turns around. "Do you wanna go back inside? I'm not trying to force you to go. If you feel safer up in the apartment, you can stay."

Arianna rolls her eyes at Sam's soft tone with Alana and Tara taps her, giving her a look.

"I mean Bailey did say he wanted me." She runs to catch up with Sam and grabs her arm.

Sam's phone rings and Alana looks at it. "What the fuck?" 

"I never deleted his contact. This is coming from his number."

"Don't pick that up." Alana shakes her head. "Just let it ring." She just gets ignored and sees Sam answer it. "Sam." She tries to listen.

Arianna looks at Tara nervously and reaches for her hand.

Alana hears Ghostface and Sam talking and feels someone grab her from behind. "Get off my asshole." She tries to get away from them and sees their knife. "No no no."

Sam turns around at the sound of Alana's pleas for help and gasps. "No! No!"

Tara lets go of Arianna's hand and pushes Ghostface away from Alana and Alana moves closer to Sam while Tara pushes them into the bush behind them, making them fall over. Arianna just stands there, not knowing what to do to help the situation. 

Sam pushes Alana, Arianna, and Tara in front of her. "Run!" She follows behind them while Ghostface gets onto their feet and following behind the four girls.

Sam tells, "Help! Please!" She sees a bodega next to them and moves the three other girls towards it. "In there!"

Tara opens the door quickly. "Please help us!"

"We were just attacked!"

"Call 911!"

The guy behind them speaks up, saying, "There's a fucking line here, girls."

The girls then start yelling over one another. 

"I'm telling you, sir. Could you-" Sam gets cut off by Ghostface opening the door.

The girls stare at the door in here and Alana hides behind Sam, peeking her head around her to see what's happening.

The guy that was originally behind the four girls steps in front of them, looking at Ghostface and says, "You got a problem here, guy?"

Ghostface tilts his head then stabs the guy repeatedly, killing him. 

Some of people in the store leaving and some of the others get stabbed to death and the girls just back away and stare in shock.

Ghostface starts stalking toward them when the sound of a shotgun cocking is heard throughout the bodega. "Hey!" Ghostface turns and when the owner shots at him, he and the girls duck. The store owner cocks his gun again, making shells fall to the ground, and walks around the counter looking for the masked killer. He looks at the girls. "Go out the back!"

"Thank you!" The four girls run off to the back door only to discover that it's locked after Sam tries to open it. Alana runs back over to the owner. "Keys! We need your keys!" 

The owner tries to get his keys off his belt loop when Ghostface appears behind him. He looks up at the mirror in the corner on the ceiling, seeing Ghostface behind him.

"Look out!"

"Watch out! Watch out! Watch out!"

"Behind you!"

The guys turns around and Ghostface stabs him in the shoulder before taking his gun and hits him across the face with it, making him fall into the cooler beside him. Sam moves the younger girls into an isle in the back as Ghostface points the shotgun at the owner before shooting him in the head despite his protests. 

The girls then get split up as they go into different aisles. Sam and Alana are in the furthest one to the left and Arianna and Tara are in the one next to them. 

Ghostface shoots the coolers in the back, making them duck, then waits before shooting the coolers next to the two, making them duck again. He walks around in front of the aisle where Arianna and Tara were, but not before they moved into the isle to their left. When he doesn't see them two, he moves to the next aisle, where Sam and Alana were, only to discover they moved too. 

Alana clings to Sam, shaking and whimpering in fear, while Ghostface walks down the aisle they were in, looking for the four girls. Sam looks around, sees a can and picks it up and throws it past Arianna and Tara, making Ghostface go in that direction. Sam nods her head towards the aisle they were previously in. Arianna and Tara run in front of them into that aisle then Sam and Alana get into it, being as quiet as they can. Alana puts her hand on some glass making in crunch underneath her and winces in both pain and fear. Sam motions for them to stop and watches Ghostface as they make their way into the aisle next to them and when he looks at them, she pushes the rack into them right as they pulled the trigger, making them fall and shoot the ceiling.

The four girls get up and runs toward the door. Once they get outside, Arianna and Tara turn around looking back inside, seeing that Ghostface is gone and the back door is open. They both look at Sam, while looks back at them and Alana is staring at the mask that was left behind in pure fear, still shaking. 

The four girls have been sitting at the same table in the same small interrogation room for hours now and they've growing tired. Detective Wayne Bailey walks into the room with an evidence bag containing a Ghostface mask and Alana looks down at her fingers and fiddle with them. 

"This was found next to the body at the apartment crime scene." Bailey puts the mask on the table in front of Alana and Sam. "DNA says that it belonged to someone named Richie Kirsch." He looks at the four girls before saying, "Does that ring a bell?"

Sam looks at Bailey for a second before saying, "We're familiar with him."

Alana looks at the mask. "But the one that attacked us had a different mask on. It was kind of more beat up. Like it was older."

Bailey looks at her for a moment before saying, "I got to ask. Do you have alibis for earlier tonight?"

Tara leans back in her uncomfortable chair. "Me, Arianna and Alana were all at a party with our friends."

"I was at my therapist's. I can give you his information. You can call to check if you want. And then I met Tara at that party, where I tased someone." Bailey looks at Sam confused, making her shake her head. "Unrelated."

"Was that before or after this happened?" Bailey shows Sam and Alana a video of Alana pushing that girl from earlier.

Sam watches the video, while Alana looks away shamefully. "Before."

"The point is, we were with people all night." Tara moves her hand before putting it to her face to rest her head on it again.

"So, our roommate's dad just happened to pull our case." Sam looks at Bailey skeptically. 

"That'd be a crazy coincidence, right?"

Sam nods. "Yeah."

"The detective who had the case, he offered it to me since it involves Quinn. Um, but I can totally give it back if you're uncomfortable. It's up to you." 

All four girls look at each other before looking back at Bailey and Sam speaks up. "It's fine." 

"So if the man that attacked you did steal your license and planted it next to the body, it'd probably be somebody close to you. How long have you known your friends?"

Tara looks at Arianna and Sam before saying, "Well, we moved here with Mindy and Chad for summer semester, like, six months ago-"

Arianna finishes her sentence for her, "So Quinn, um, Ethan, Anika- all since then."

"I think I can vouch for Quinn, so that's one less we have to worry about.  Do any of you have anyone that might want to target you?" 

They all think for a moment before Alana speaks up, "Not anyone who's still alive."

Bailey looks at her. "Yikes."

Before anyone can say anything further, the door opens and an officer walks in, making everyone look at him. "FBI's here, claiming jurisdiction."

"Where are they?" Bailey gets up and walks out of the room.

Sam leans her head back and sighs, looking at Alana. Arianna and Tara both rubs their faces.

The girls walk up to Bailey to see him talking to Kirby Reed. Sam looks at her in disbelief. "Kirby?"

"Hey, Sam." Kirby walks over to Sam and hugs her quickly before pulling away and looking at the other three girls. "Tara, Arianna, Alana." She sees Alana smile at her happily. 

Sam is still in complete shock. "You're the FBI."

"Mm-hmm."

Bailey looks between the two women. "You guys known each other?"

Sam looks at him before looking back at Kirby. "Yeah. We went to Woodsboro High together. She was a senior when I was a freshman."

"We share a certain history, yeah. Look, I'm not trying to get into a jurisdictional pissing contest here, I just want to help. I'll show you mine, et cetera." Kirby smiles slightly and hands him the files she came in with. 

An officer hands Bailey an evidence bag with another mask in it. "Thank you. He left this mask at the bodega. DNA traces of two individuals, Jill Roberts and Charlie Walker, both deceased."

Kirby takes the bag and looks at it. "The Ghostface killers of 2011. Charlie Walker gave me this." She pulls her shirt up slighter to show her scar. She pulls it back down and looks at the girls. "Like I said, I take a special interest. Is this the mask she was wearing when he attacked you?"

The girls all shake their heads and Arianna says, "No."

Bailey looks at Sam. "So he's leaving them on purpose."

"Which means whoever's doing this is a student of the killers who came before. Maybe he believes Alana and Arianna are the latest in long lines."

Sam looks back and forth between Bailey and Kirby. "Yeah, good luck with that. We're getting out of town." She starts walking off with the others behind her.

"I'm sorry, that's not possible. You all are persons of interest in a double homicide, so you're not allowed to leave town. Sorry."

The girls turn and look at him. "Are you serious?"

Kirby turns and looks at them. "He's right. But if we work together-"

Sam cuts her off, "We're going." She starts walking away, looking at the others for them to follow.

The girls make it outside and immediately get bombarded with press. 

Sam shields them and walks through the crowd of people, while they yell questions at them.

"Alana, Arianna, do you two have alibis for last night's murders?"

"Sam, Tara, do you feel safe around your sister?"

"Tara! Sam!"

"Gale Weathers, Channel 4." That one makes the girls turn around. "Do you ladies think you're the reason the Ghostface killer has come to the Big Apple?" 

Sam scoffs and goes to punch Gale but she moves out of the way, making the people around them collectively gasp. "Nice try sweetie, sweetie, but I've done this dance before." 

Alana punches her in the jaw making her grunt and the crowd gasp again. "Stay away from us." She walks away while the reports yell at her and Arianna. Sam, Arianna, and Tara follow behind her.

Gale does the same, "Are you really still mad at me?" 

Sam quickly turns around. "You said you wouldn't write a book about what happened. And then you wrote a book about what happened."

"Oh, come on. Somebody was gonna write about it! It's what I do."

"I heard you couldn't sell the movie rights." 

Gale looks at Tara. "It's all about true-crime limited series these days."

"After everything we went through together. What would Dewey think?"

Alana looks at Sam with a hurt expression. "Sam... that was unnecessary."

Gale looks at Alana then back at Sam. "That was a low blow."

Alana looks at Gale. "So was your book. You called me 'unstable and a 'born killer.' You called Arianna 'unhinged.'" 

"That's taken out of context." 

"That's literally a quote, Gale. I mean really?"

Arianna cuts off their arguing, "Alana, just shut up"

Tara slaps her before looking at Gale. "You don't think what you wrote has something to do with what's happening to us?" 

Sam grabs Alana's hand. "Come on." She turns and walks to the taxi a few feet away, while Gale walks after them again. 

"Hey, I talked to Sidney."

Alana turns around. "She's not coming here, is she?" 

Gale shakes her head. "No. She sends her love, but she's taking Mark and the kids someplace safe. She deserves to have her happy ending."

"On that much, we agree." Sam gets in the front seat while Alana and Tara get in the back. 

"Hey, I wanna catch this fucker as much as you do!" 

Arianna, who was getting in the car, stops and turns to Gale. "Maybe. Or maybe you're just afraid that without Ghostface in your life, you're gonna fade away." She gets into the car with Gale watching her.
